521  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Which is the best way to promote products or links? on: June 18, 2017, 10:09:29 AM
Which is the best way to promote products or refferal links? Social media and forums is total shit,no one interested in this.
I do not know why you say social media product promotion is shit but I honestly think it is one of the best channels to use as it has a very large audience of different interests and to make it more effective you could probably use youtube and some website ads to even spread the word out about your products

523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin may not be number one for long on: June 18, 2017, 09:29:15 AM
I thought for sure it would take until the end of 2018 but it looks like this summer ethereum might pass it up. With the turmoil around BTC potential splitting, it might be very soon. IMO this is healthy, we will always value bitcoin for being the one that started it all, but it's time for a more dynamic and adaptable currency to take the lead.
bitcoin wont be number one in terms of market capitalization but when it comes to the highest priced cryptocurrencies am confident ethereum has a lot of catching up to reach its price
524  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc reached the bottom for this week , correction and retest 3,000 $ ? on: June 17, 2017, 09:21:25 PM
Buyers who were wishing they bought bitcoins when price was low earlier ths week are now regretting that they never acquired some btc for themselves...
Now it looks like price is recovering well and we already over $2600 we just might see $3000 before the end of the month
525  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: June 17, 2017, 07:37:07 PM
I guess I would not agree to the notion that Bitcoin will replace the dollar which has so much support from all over the world

Bitcoin has too many flaws that needs fixing, unlike the dollar which is very functional at the moment despite it being a centralized currency
526  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reason for Bitcoin price fall on: June 16, 2017, 09:36:54 AM
The previous price fall happened a few days after https://directbet.eu/ announced they were closing.

This led some to speculate the price decrease was due to Directbet.eu selling off their entire stock of btc creating a massive price fall.
-snip-
Could directbet closure have so much influence to affect the price besides directbet always limited players on how much they could wager per bet? It could be a mere speculation as to why price few and most likely a correction was the reason for the fall but good news for us btc price is recovering again
527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: June 15, 2017, 10:12:51 PM
Basically gambling was invented for the entertaining purpose but after that gambling has become an addiction. Not only gambling, any addiction based activity is tough to be given away easily. If anyone wants to stay away from gambling then he or she must be determined to do so, without strong determination no one can scape from gambling....

It is hard to get rid of gambling addiction and I couldnt get rid of it as well. No one can escape from it but we can do something to reduce the gambling addiction. just like what I did , I play for fun and I think that it is much better than just playing profit, at some way I dont get much profit if I win but atleast I lose small amount if I lose
No i think it will be still depends to you if you are willing you can stop gambling there are people who gamble and reduce their gambling activity but its impossible that there are no people or gamblers can't totally stop gambling..
Sample one of my wife was addicted n gambling before this is a true life happen with my wife but now i help her to change her mind to stop gambling and now the result she never gamble again. and she knows the important of money unlike before that even you are not giving her a money she can be still can make a money to gamble but after i help and telling the importance of money and our children now she never gamble back again..
So its always depends in you or us if we are willing to get rid in gambling..
people like to continue gambling for some time specially when the are young, but withe the passage of time the interest in gambling become decreasing, and people start thinking about how to get red from gambling, but in fact at that stage as he continue gambling for a long time he find it very hard to quit gambling at all. for this he need a very hard work, even he need to get help from their friends and family member and only then it can become possible to quit gambling.
I agree gambling is a phase in life and its better to gamble while you young so that with time you grow out of it without a problem.
For others its not as easy as it sounds because they are so addicted to it and have no substitute activities to distract or keep them away from this unless they get broke.
528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Every ICO can F*ck off, especially SONM. on: June 15, 2017, 08:53:23 PM
ICOs should be either regulated and bounded to follow some rules to protect investors or should be forbidden.
There is no way that you can invest into something which offers no investor protection.
Greedy investors are unable to comprehend what risk they've agreed to by trusting their money to ICO managers.
There is rarely any innovation these days and certainly no decentralization.
I thought of this as well but this is the price we pay for a decentralized system , there is so much deception and people go scot free with their investors money and nothing can be done about it. This is were we would appreciate a centralized system to protect investors and make sure upcoming projects have a chance of surviving and not gifting the person behind the project.
529  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin heading to $4,000 on: June 15, 2017, 01:13:21 PM
The price of bitcoin is not likely going to that price because there is a lot of panic selling right now and it is driving the price of bitcoin very low and i think it will just continue to dump and dump until it is cheap again for panic buyers. Bitcoin is just tracing a good support and i think if bitcoin will not trace that as soon as possible then the price of $4,000 will not become a possible price.
You cant blame the people behind the panic selling if only our devs would agree on the best bitcoin fork people would have stuck with bitcoin but it seems people are trying out other cryptocurrencies for their convenience. We have always wanted demand for bitcoin to drive price higher but looks like support is starting to be shaky to make the $4000 price a reality.
530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fifa Confederations Cup 2017 discussion and predictions Thread on: June 15, 2017, 10:58:47 AM
-snip-
My favorite team is Portugal because there are all its top players including Cr7, unlike Germany who have an experimental team
Portugal were lucky the last time the won the Euro cup this time they have to prove themselves in the Fifa Confederations Cup

The hosts might have a longshot to be crowned champions but my money will be on Chile and Russia

Goodluck lads
531  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When do YOU sell? on: June 15, 2017, 10:32:30 AM
I'm selling only if there's a need to do so and if possibly I've got enough then it's not regretting to sell. But I want to deal with my long term plans which is holding my bitcoin and if ever I'm going to focus holding there is an inevitable event where I need to convert my bitcoin to fiat even the price is seemingly low.
this is what we all need to be doing, only sell your bitcoins when you are in need of fiat for your personal needs.
You just might be rewarded handsomely for long term holding.
532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins are good profits? on: June 15, 2017, 08:01:48 AM

Its all about getting your timing right, when to buy and when to sell or keep holding your crypto coins.

If you monitoring price movements of most cryptos atm they have been dipping which might not show good profits if you bought coins late
533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Where to buy ICOs on: June 15, 2017, 07:31:16 AM
Is there an exchange where you can buy ICOs with bitcoin?
Most if not all ICO tokens can be bought from the project's website

A reputable one that deals with all of the upcoming ICOs.
The available websites are a watch only platform to see current ICOs and i use https://www.icocountdown.com to see all crowdsales
534  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Where to invest my Bitcoins? on: June 14, 2017, 10:13:06 PM
0.1 bitcoin is a fair amount for investment. You could buy a good altcoin and start trading. But your success lies in finding the most under valued coin.By investing in that way,you could earn more profits. But trading is also risky. You should get prior experience to earn in trading.
I think it is not good to invest in undervalued coin nowadays because 0.1 BTC will bring him a good profit in the future if he will not spend them in any other coin on any other investment and if he will keep them in his wallet for a longer time. As the price of Bitcoin is increasing with a fastest speed from the previous month and it is expected that this will continue for the whole year.
I dont know about bitcoin price increasing but on preev and Bitfinex bitcoin price has dipped a little and is trading below $2500 but knowing how bitcoin works it will recover. To answer OP question choosing a coin to invest in is very difficult because some coins are shitcoins and you want to avoid these but if you know how to read good indicators of a good ICO you can try those or just hold your coins and wait for price to go to the moon
535  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: bitcoin or altcoin transfer delay? on: June 14, 2017, 01:53:36 PM
Hello. guys

I am seeking to invest ICO for the first time.
Generally, people transferred their bitcoin or ethereum to participate in crowdfunding.
However, there are delay in transferring bitcoin(over 10 minutes).
so, if --->

ICO start(July,1, AM 12:00) ~ (target $1M) , but it was very popular and end in 10 minutes.
AM 12:10 (close)

I transfer my bitcoin at AM12:05 and delay over 10 minutes. In this case, what happened??? my investment was failed???

could you tell me how to transfer it quickly??

I think OP question has not been answered adequately... of course with  ethereum you will have no problem making your investment as its quite fast but as for investing with bitcoin in the last minutes of ICO could mean a missed opportunity as it might take longer to get our transaction confirmed but am sure devs might be reluctant to this kind of situation and should sell you some tokens
536  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen if Bitcoin became a legal currency? on: June 14, 2017, 06:53:10 AM
Might help make life better if bitcoin becomes legal currency. Many parties will benefit from bitcoin. But for a country less able to protect value of currency, it may be an inflationary disaster for the country and its people.

Bitcoin is representing a technology that can disrupt with how we do things most especially in the financial sector and so far blockchain technology is praised as a very innovative way. There are now many countries who recognized Bitcoin as form of a currency...some are doing it for taxation purpose and some are laying down regulatory requirements and platform inorder to make sure that Bitcoin is not being used for illegal purposes.

Adoption of Bitcoin for all countries can take time though even in countries where Bitcoin is still illegal to own I am sure that there are those who have Bitcoin secretly.
Agreed. If Bitcoin became a legal currency we would see improved crypto services, also a shift of interest from fiat to cryptocurrencies as everyone wants to get to enjoy financial freedom and which could possibly cause some disruption in the money market for some local currencies.

Quote
In the coming years, I am sure we can see a big boom for Bitcoin most especially if the scaling problem can be solved once and for all.
Very valid insight legalization would bring high demand and a problem to the bitcoin network if a scaling solution is not brought forward

jamalaezaz how do we understand filling up to the end stake in signature campaign spreadsheet?

Will it not count posts? Is this the final statement and the end of the campaign?  Huh Roll Eyes
I am not getting your question. please be more specific.

I see that the spreadsheet is filled up as if the campaign was over. Will users still be excluded who will not post 50 posts?
I see other users were added to spreadsheet a couple of days ago leaving them with a daunting task to to be eligible for payment with 50 posts. Devs have not given the date when the campaign comes to an end
538  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could btc hit 1 usd? on: June 13, 2017, 03:58:52 PM
Only if Internet disappear or in case of apocalipsis zoombie with no survivals, the marketcap is too big and Bitcoin have the biggest database of the world and can coexist with other currencies. There are not reason for that.

Bitcoins to be rendered useless overnight is nearly impossible!
Not even the crash of the internet could bring the price to a dollar because the Internet disappearing would mean BTC value is preserved and not crashed.
539  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where to invest my 20 BTC (lifesavings) on: June 13, 2017, 03:13:41 PM
Get @Denker's advice just keep holding your bitcoins which is less risky as compared to investing in other cryptocurrencies.
You might even get more than 2% in interest just for holding in less than a month.
If you are a high-risk taker you might consider some altcoins to invest in but do not go all in, best of luck mate!
