Not a professional coin.
No future at all. Mined the entire day and lost all coins.
This is ridiculous...
you're not alone, you must have had the early release wallet as me. I wasn't able stay on for updates So I mined all night wrong chain again! To be fair for many, there was a problem that everything was insta-mined. A block every 3 seconds. Now it is correct and it is fair. Only 1,500 blocks have been mined, not like 10,000 in 3 hours. in my opinion, if something is wrong... cancel it for a while. Go back to the draw board and re schedule the launch .... not a few hrs later but days later. Users must be confident abou your project... i mean confident and not excluded. You should have stopped the nodes... so *we* wouldn't spend our precious time ($$$$) mining. Your coin idea is good... you just need to be more professional. The nodes were immediately stopped when we discovered the issue. The real issue was that eagleeye and his band of scammers introduced a insta-mine client that was mining ever 2-3 seconds. Blame him if you lost energy mining. Ye... but security is something that you need to provide to maintain/sustain/support your coin. yes... but don't blame me for your lost time.

So he gets 50% of the coins and he's already trying to get it on an exchange Seems legit Actually, getting it to an exchange is not a priority. Creating an exchange, well that's the higher priority.

Have you folks not heard of GitHub?
How could you expect me to know which of your multiple releases some source code I find on GitHub corresponds to? It could be this release or one of the "aborted" releases where you let people mine for a while and then attempted to declare the mined blockchain null and void. If you go to www.zenithcoin.com you will find all the links there. This 'faux' confusion stuff is getting really old. This response just alienates people like me. It was real confusion. I couldn't tell from the original post whether source code was available, which is a must for me. I was the first to point out, back in another thread, that eagleeye's fork secretly altered the hardcoded "dev" addresses, which I thought was a dick move. But since then, it seems like you've been taking a pretty heavy-handed. micromanaging approach. I find it distasteful. micromanaging what? miners are mining the coin. all i have are these folks that keep trying to come up with fake clients. why they do it, i have no clue! Anyway, if you are looking for info, it is all there at www.zenithcoin.com. GitHub location has always been the same.

On BTC-E: Simplyfun: ZenithCoin, yeah we'll get right on that
What did solracx pay BTC-E for that? Are you suggesting that I pay BTC-E to get listed? Well why not, if it will please investors, miners and users, then why not? You get 50% of the coins, I understand why you are pleased. I just send a message to BTC-E with 3 questions: - are you going to list ZTC? - what did solracx pay you? - how much do I have to pay to get it delisted? Hey, I haven't heard that rumor!!! You telling me BTC-E is going to list ZTC!?

Restrictions: Give away counted only for miners that register by emailing info@zenithcoin.com. Miner should provide proof by providing ZenithCoin address. what a joke this has become +1 No source code = No mining. "Se te va la olla,..." The source code is in the same place all source code is.... Google isn't hard. It shouldn't have to be. It should be in the OP. Period. Have you folks not heard of GitHub?

Anyone without a lot of hash power normally is looking for a pool to join. ZenithCoin [ZTC] does not have any pools for the first 3 days of launch (or more technically, the first 7,000 blocks). At this time, only approximately 1400 blocks have been mined. 87% of the coins in a block go to the winning miner, however 12% of the remainder will be distributed equally to any miner who has successufully mined at least one block. So if you mine one block of ZTC coin, you get 84 coins with an additional percentage out of a pool of 19,000 coins. So if there are only 100 miners in the next 3 days, then you will get 200 coins for one block! Take advantage of this mining opportunity!!! Official binaries can be found here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/zenithcoin/filesRestrictions: Give away counted only for miners that register by emailing info@zenithcoin.com. Miner should provide proof by providing ZenithCoin address. UPDATE: 1728 blocks were reached in 1 day. 2 days faster than expected. Extra rewards are over.

You can't create a coin and then restart it every other day because the launch didn't go the way you planned. Stop with the BS gimmicks like pre-mine parties and your idiotic ploy to claim 50% of all coins mined and then change the name. ZenithCoin will be forever tainted.
There are still 2 1/2 days worth of mining. It's not like the party is over. The launch was probably the fairest launch of any coin in existence. If you look at the block chain.... the block every 5 seconds problem just lasted for a few hundred blocks and then it quickly got into normal difficulty. So everyone got the coins that they deserved. No insta-mining gimick like everyone else.

ZenithCoin is designed to support the on-going development of Scrypt based crypto-currencies. See http://www.zenithcoin.com for more details about the coin. We are soliciting development ideas that can be funded on a recurring basis (rather than one time bounty). We understand that all development requires constant effort over a long time, therefore we are providing a way for developers to be constantly compensated for their efforts. Please respond to this post or send an email to info@zenithcoin.com. We will contact you if we are interested and we can negotiate an apropriate long term compensation. ZenithCoin is commited to long term value creation of its coin and by engaging developers and compensating them for their efforts, we hope to achieve growth for both investors and miners.

This is could be really good.
I will evaluate it when I get home.

Best Practice - Always create a new genesis block.
Sorry to say, coins like FTC and CHN did not even have the skill to create their own genesis block.

Seriously. This is probably one of the worst alt-coin launches I have ever seen. solacrx is incompetent, inept and a complete boob.
solacrx, get out with some dignity and abandon this BS Fucking coin you tried to create. You obviously have no idea what you are doing, or, what you are going to do.
Its funny, you knocked FTC from the start, but at least they have competent Devs backing their coin. You are the farthest thing from competent.
On the contrary, the launch on June 9th was successful. No insta-mine. Correct difficulty as designed. Visit www.zenithcoin.com for more information and binaries

Stop sending modified versions of the client!! You have wasted enough mining resources already, mined the test coin for 6 days. Why don't you make your own coin? What the hell is your problem anyway?

Please do not distribute clients that are incompatible with this network!!
