521  Economy / Economics / Re: Why everyone learn from Warren Buffett? on: May 13, 2019, 12:12:24 AM
There is no doubt Warren Buffet is one of the best investors in the world because the facts can prove that. The problem is that each millionaire/billionaire has its one filosofy and mentality about investment. Some will tell you it's good to invest in this, others will tell you it's good to invest in that so its only a matter of choice who are you going to listen to. Just because he is one of the most successful people in the world doesn't mean he's right in everything he says. It's just his opinion and it's your choice if you take it seriously or not.
522  Economy / Economics / Re: become rich by bitcoin. on: May 13, 2019, 12:05:06 AM
Some people still have the same mentality about bitcoin, that they could get rich just by simply investing a couple thousands of dollars and sit in their coaches watching TV. Those days have passed and we all missed the occasion to become rich with bitcoin but it seems like people still belive that's possible. In my opinion you can't get rich anymore with bitcoin, you can only get richer meaning that you have to invest a big amount of money that could possibly get you a big profit and increased your money.
523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finally $200 billion total Marketcap is achieved. on: May 13, 2019, 12:01:44 AM
It's the first time that total marketcap has passed $200 billion in the last 6 months and that's surely a great sign for bitcoin. We are on the right track and if this continues like that I think the future will be even brighter than we can all imagine because bitcoin could get back to its ATH sooner than we all expected. As long as the market doesn't suffer a major dump the price of bitcoin should get close to 20.000$ at a certain point in 2020.
524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Advise Newbies To Enter Bitcoin Now? on: May 12, 2019, 11:57:06 PM
Well, I don't think it really matters the time when a newbie enters the crypto market because at a certain point he will have to face this problem and I think it's better to learn how to handle it from the beginning so that in the future he will have no problems. A newbie will anyway face all kind of situations and he/she has to go trough all of this because that's the only way to learn from mistakes.
525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's the point of these hacks? on: May 12, 2019, 11:54:31 PM
Giving bitcoin a bad reputation is just useless because it is not different from fiat money getting involved in scams or illegal activities. It's just all about the people who can't afford better security like storing buying ledger for better security. What's the point of storing your funds in the exchange sites anyway if you know that there is a possibility that it can get stolen there?
'
Actually a ledger wallet is not that expensive this days because you can find one of those wallets at the price of 50$. I understand that a few years ago the price of a ledger wallet was 200-300$ and some people could have an excuse for not buying one but right now there is no way someone can say they can't afford to buy one especially when we are talking about the security of their funds.
526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2018-2019 betting on: May 12, 2019, 09:36:58 PM
Looks like the people who took denver -5.5 to cover are going to get their wish cause portland is playing like crap and are trailing the nuggets by over 13 points in the second half. They are just getting dominated and I believe they are going to get removed from the playoff picture today.
I dont trust toronto either so went for the points for the game instead.
Blazers was able to come back after a great performance from McCollum and as I'm writing this post the score is 76-76 in the forth quarter so right now it's anyone's game as the chances for winning it are kind of equal. Looks like Lillard is still struggling a lot today with only 1/12 shots and this is definitely not helping Portland at all because he's probably the best player in this team. Anyway, after a good comeback I think Portland has the power to win this game.
527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: May 12, 2019, 09:33:02 PM
Looks like Blazers have been able to come back in this match after Denver was leading with 17 in the second quarter. McCollum did a great job scoring 21 points in quarter 2 and 3 but looks like Lillard is having a rough night with only 7 points scored in 3 quarters. I hope he could get back strong in the forth quarter otherwise this Blazers team can't win this match only with McCollum alone.
528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nothing new. on: May 12, 2019, 09:26:39 PM
I think at this point cryptocurrency market is already developed enough ( we still need some upgrades but it's OK for it to be used on a normal basis by people) and what we need is mass adoption so that everyone on this earth can discover cryptocurrency and the benefits that it could bring to their lives. Also, we already have enough stable coins for every purpose so instead of focusing on creating more of them we should focus on upgrading the ones that we already have.
529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I buy bitcoin now?? Or I'm too late?? on: May 12, 2019, 09:23:04 PM
If you see that the market is going up then what are you waiting for? The madness has just begun and there is still plenty of time for you or anyone else to invest in bitcoin. We are not even sure that bull run has started yet so it would be a perfect opportunity to buy now before it starts because after that the price will go skyrocket and you will regret your decision of not buying when you had the occasion
530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers running free on: May 12, 2019, 09:19:34 PM
ICO projects have had a bad reputation on this issue and this problem has become big in this industry, if we no longer believe in investing in ICO then finalizing the choice to only invest in bitcoin and other coins with high trust is the solution. Even though we need more time but at least our money will not be taken away by scammers.
Even if ICOs would still be trustworthy enough I don't think there is much profit to be made there since the chances of some ICO becoming successful have dramatically lowered because there are some many coins available on the market right now. We already have dozens of successful projects on the market and hundreds of altcoins available so I don't really think we need more than that.
531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Just Announced New Tokensale on its Launchpad! on: May 12, 2019, 09:16:09 PM
It seems like they have big plans with this projects and their goal is to keep it alive for a very long time since their target of audience is 10 billion people. Right now there probably are a few dozen millions of people using cryptocurrencies so they definitely thought about this way into the future. It's always good to have big goals but this is not even achievable right now since there are only 7 billion people living on earth and probably 10-20% of them don't even have acces to internet or don't know how to use it so that number goes down to half of their target.
532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dump the alts on: May 12, 2019, 09:11:27 PM
Bitcoin price is going up and so does the price of most big altcoins in top 10 so most people will focus on buying this kind of coins instead of investing their money into projects that don't bring any profits these days and are not safe. So, instead of buying cheap altcoins hoping for a bigger return better start investing in coins that are already safe and trusted even though the profit could not be as high, the risks are smaller.
533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you protect your digital coins? on: May 12, 2019, 09:08:19 PM
I usually don't hold many bitcoins in my wallet so I don't worry that much about that and I keep it on a wallet on my phone. I the most convenient way to safely storage your bitcoin is to buy a hardware wallet and move your bitcoins there. This kind of wallet are pretty cheap this days and the risks of getting hacked are much smaller in comparison with any online wallet.
534  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the Next Bitcoin Bull Run Started? on: May 12, 2019, 09:03:47 PM
This seems like the start of a bull run because bitcoin price has doubled now in the last few months and we've been waiting for this to happen almost 2 years. Time has come and bitcoin is ready to get back strong and move over 10.000$ soon. So far the price has gone only up and didn't had major dumps and that's a good sign but let's not get happy to soon because the same way the price gone up it could also go down.
535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Just a Shady ‘Ponzi Scheme,’ Rants Goldbug Peter Schiff on: May 12, 2019, 09:00:04 PM
So far we've seen so many CEO's and popular people calling people a scam or a ponzi scheme and as we can see it didn't affected bitcoin that much. It could be because none of the accusations came together at the same time but even so I think bitcoin is strong enough to overcome all of this. Bitcoin is rising and none of this bad rumors could have an impact on this, at least not a very big impact as they would expect.
536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: May 11, 2019, 10:32:48 PM
Today is the EPL trophy decider day.Liverpool Will play against Wolves and City will face Brighton.I think Man City will easily beat Brighton and lift the EPL trophy again. Liverpool will find difficulty to win against Wolves since they have no Firmino or Salah but Still I believe Liverpool can seal the match.Spurs and Chelsea will qualify for the UCL, and ManU have to face Europa League qualifiers.
Man City has won 3 of the last 4 matches with 1:0 and the forth one with 2:0. Of course their main goal was to win those games but I'm sure they could score more than that to make their mission easier and that's exactly what's going to happen today. City is going to start this match strong and probably before the half things will be done, probably a 2:0,3:0 lead to City in the first half. Liverpool will surely also give everything tomorrow but they know that the chances of City losing that match are extremely low so I don't think they will be very focused to win.
537  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: May 11, 2019, 10:27:46 PM
[snip] I personally believe LFC is the team that is really the favorite to get the CL trophy this season because of the depth of the squad they have and it is very surprising for a comeback after beating Barca, it is appropriate for LFC to get a CL trophy for this good season.

Not taking anything away from Spurs but it would be a shame if LFC don't win it after that emphatic comeback. Either way, it's going to be an entertaining match.
Liverpool has more odds especially if Salah will play the game. Ironically, Tottenham won vs City which has more chances that time. I do not think the same thing will happen, no?  Roll Eyes
Tottenham chances to win the final are very low in my opinion even though they knocked out City. I watched both matches against City and Ajax and they didn't played great and I can even say they were a bit lucky in both. On the other hand Liverpool has knocked Barcelona after they lost the first match 3:0 and while they had some luck because Barcelona missed a few opportunities, they got in the final because the way they played. Anyway it will be a great match for sure and I'm sure it will not be easy for neither of them, especially because they know each other so well playing every year in Premier League together.
538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: May 11, 2019, 10:25:05 PM
So it will be Stefanos Tsitsipas V Novak Djokovic in the Madrid final after Tsitsipas beasts Nadal in three sets and Djokovic winning in straight sets. Both matches were top class so I'm expecting the same in the final. Its good to see Djokovic find some form at the right time and if he does win the Madrid Open then he must be favourite to win the French Open as Nadal hasn't been in good form recently.

I can't say Nadal was really at his top form but he dint lost that match because he didn't played well. Actually Tsitsipas played some great tennis and was able to take the points in the important moments of the game. It should be an interesting match tomorrow, Djokovic is obviously the favorite here but so was Nadal today and lost so it will not be that easy for him.
539  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: May 11, 2019, 07:44:03 PM
Well even without KD the Warriors look like a very dominant force.
Hopefully the Serbian giant Nikola Jokić and the Nuggets can finish off Portland at home tomorrow.
Would much rather see Warriors face Denver then Portland.
Warriors are the Champions and they proved that yesterday against Houston winning even without Durant. Even though there were some matches recently where their performance was not the best and some people doubt them, when it's time to play they come and do their best to win any game.
540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Japan as the Next Big Destination for iGaming Operators? on: May 10, 2019, 03:41:08 AM
I'm not sure about how well this is going to work because as far as I know gambling is still banned in most of the countries from Asia and those that accept it have very strict regulations. Macau is the only country that fully accepts gambling and betting but that's a different story because this country has its own government and rules. This collaboration between Japan and iGaming will surely be profitable as long as people will be able to gamble freely. Obviously we cannot expect gambling to be the same in Japan as the rest of the world because they are just accepting it but at least I guess it will be better than it is in the rest of the countries in Asia.
