I always wonder, why people believe that they can profit from the Pump and Dump game.
The only person who make money in the long term is the organiser and some lucky insider who buy the coin well before the pump...

The reason is simple:
The coin price is roughly the same after the pump as it was before. Which means same amount of coin was sold than bought, the members of the group selling to each other and buying each other coins. If someone make 1BTC profit, that money is coming from other members of the group. It is a zero sum game. The money just redistributed, but no new money can be created during the pump.... The winner is the person who can buy the cheapest and sell the coin to others for higher price.... Guess, who is the one who can buy the cheapest? Yes, that person/people is/are the organiser(s).

During the pump and dump, the wealth of the group will be redistributed. In the long run (probably even in the short run too) the wealth of the group is slowly distributed to the organiser. It is a zero sum game, the total wealth stay the same as it is, just other people of the group will hold it.

I would be very happy to set up a masternode as well.... However I have no idea how. Do you have a guide how you have done it?
Have you set it up in Linux VPS or Windows VPS?

We can debate, if they are called inner circle, friends, colleagues in scam, or anything else. The fact is the same. There was/is a group of people who knew which coin will be pumped 15 minutes earlier that the rest of the pump-group.

In this ICO mania, everyone can sell anything for millions if it has coin or token in it's name. A promising project can collect over $100m which is insane... No start-up is justified to collect that much and they will never been able to deliver a profitable product in such scale.

If you would like to go for the new projects, you are better to buy coins in the market after the price plummet.

I bought Bancor during the ICO, but I regret it... It is good for nothing else but to shadow ETH. The price is moving the same direction, it is always 0.01 ETH, no mater what... Useless token.
Tezos is an uncapped ICO, way over-funded project. It has to deliver the next BTC at least to justify the current funding level... It is unlikely it will ever manage to deliver enough.

I would add Decred (DCR) as well. Stable coin with a lot of potential, they are just finishing the Lightening Network integration within a few days and the price is likely to go up.

So no member should has this information and definitely no member should be able to pre-buy..
