Gate is owned by a an asian guy Lin Han but it is located in Cayman island, same location for binance. Gate has restriction many other countries and has always been difficult to pass their KYC. IMO irrespective of the ban on countries and account, fund should be accessible for transfer to other account even after deadline.

This news is appalling to me, The Russian and Chinese billionaires make so much money especially in London acquiring housing properties and hiding the identity. Maybe their past is hunting them. I really oppose the idea of anonymity in real estate purchase. Asides the money laundering involved in real estate, there is need to provide information that allow the passage of a property to another either through inheritance or purchase.

I too have watched the videos. I am not happy with the way the Africans are treated in Ukraine their lives are just as valuable as the Ukrainians. If someone comes to your house it is your responsibility to protect them until they leave to their home. Nigerian students used to prefer doing their Masters or first degree in Ukriane because it is easier and cheaper than other European countries. I can assume many of the Nigerians in the videos are exchange students Indians and other Asians in the country feel the Africans are treated better, the country are looking for supports from other countries anyhow. They believe keeping other nationals within their country will force them to come for their rescue. The media is also creating a narrative and I am really confused about the handling of the war by the Ukranians. |

I dont see the threat of Centralised exchange in this fashion, they actually dont request for tax, the government collect tax after that transaction fee Recently, Binance improve to help save transactions in a year and sum all the trade to know the actually amount as profit and tax. Most restricted IP are base on the countries and their regulations, Exchanges are forced to do that.

The most important is to create demand in the project and its products.
The most important for all cryptocurrency projects is to be very useful for the community. When project is useful it has a big community of users. what happens when we have many similar useful projects? XFI is one of the pioneering Defi project and it is struggling now. The high number of project with similar idea is killing altcoins, Although some are adding more used cases as form of development, I strongly believe their is still room for growth in cryptocurrency that will encourage larger adoption especially in finance. |

Most regulations have been targeted at exchanges and exchangers imo and I don't think that'll changr with more regulations coming in.
If people aren't happy with regulations, there will probably be ways to get around them without too much hassle or they might be able to just go ignored for those too with smaller amounts of crypto and go fairly unnoticed.
Decentralised exchange is an option for exchange deregulation, However, DEX has many limitation. Most traders of bitcoin still need to move their coins in fiat hence P2P from some centralized exchanges keep seeing high volume trade. We now have over 10 type of blockchain DEX which will massive coin movement as new investors come in. |

What are the information requested? Until recently some of the bitcoin address of many members are from forums and non custodial bitcoin address which makes permanent loss of account here rampant. I had to go for new address lately with full custody, emails are not considered at all here.The moderator might need to be more interactive with members that loss account and respond in time, sometimes it take weeks and yet it might not be recovered. Does everyone has to open new thread in the forum before his case will be attended to? |
