Less than 24 hours to go until leather meets willow for the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup!

We've got lines up now for the first week of matches, and are currently taking bets of up to 4.5 BTC. We'll also be offering live betting on every match. Here's the first week's schedule:

Why are the max bets so low for the worldcup ?

I'm not investing into this ponzi anymore. My investment is still not back. I invested in fourth week and the transaction is still now unconfirmed.

Yup, not a good idea to invest now or ever.
525  Economy / Services / Re: flights discount 30% new year promotion, Bitcoin accepted on: February 12, 2015, 09:16:52 PM

You should start accepting escrows on the forum
526  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin foundation's phishing email on: February 12, 2015, 09:13:43 PM
I accidentally opened up that document, but thankfully it only went to Google Docs for me and didn't download it. It's a page full of random text symbols, and on top in bold it says to enable something you need to enter a macro file...  Undecided
Well some of these mails take you to another website with exactly the same interface, and these tkae your login details.
527  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you ready (not just willing) to make payments in Bitcoin? on: February 12, 2015, 09:13:01 PM
I want to vote: I have bitcoins and are not ready and not willing to make payments in Bitcoin, plain simple: i think the current price/value is low now and i rather want more bitcoins Smiley

Thats like storing it as gold, waiting for the price to increase over time.

So this is the likely culprit of all the others making the bullshit ponzi sites!

At least you managed to steal enough of peoples money

The owner was able to get 75 BTC before leaving, which is a huge amount.
532  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★SKYHIGHPOKER.CO.UK★100% 'THANK YOU' BONUS on: February 07, 2015, 12:23:03 PM

Wow! That's a great idea.
Can you please deposit 1BTC so that we can do it today?
Thank you

Why so offensive? I was just suggestign that, as thats what most of the new poker sites do to get traffic to the sites
533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best long term investment under 30k sat on: February 07, 2015, 12:21:16 PM
I would vote for Ripple too.

Ripple is not a cryptocurrency.

It's a blockchain based mechanism for banks to move fiat around.

I don't even know what it's doing in the cryptocurrency charts.

Thats true, but most consider it as one.
Apart from that, i would say go for doge.
534  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you have a coinbase account you may want to check this post. on: February 07, 2015, 12:18:55 PM
I had my coinbase account blocked. No one in the bitcoin group circle, I know who uses coinbase. They brought it down to themselves.
535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The life of a late adopter on: February 07, 2015, 11:50:28 AM
People panic.  If you buy bitcoin for $1000, hold it for 5 years, and it eventually goes to $5000, then you made a good investment.  It doesn't matter if it temporarily went to $200, if you were planning to hold it for 5 years anyway.

I agree mate.. BTC is revolutionary..It will go back up..it is just in a slump as of now..but things will change.!

Any good news to back up your opinion ? Actually we are now witnessing the death of crypto. RIP Bitcoin 2009-2015

Not sure about his story, but it might actually come back up next year after the halving.
Also the fall in price doesn't mean the death of bitcoins.
536  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: DoubleCoin - 130% your bitcoin (Ponzi) on: February 07, 2015, 11:46:29 AM

537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do altcoin devs need to understand economics? on: February 07, 2015, 11:44:08 AM
I think they do. but hardsly any dev does. but they should certainly have people on their team looking at the economics of the coin,
538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Chess $100 Prize in Bitcoin! on: February 07, 2015, 11:41:13 AM
I seriously hoped we would have chess for bitcoin. But seems due to bots, that won't be possible anytime soon.

540  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the Recent Bitcoin Crash is Normal? on: February 07, 2015, 11:36:33 AM

it was bound to fall down.
