The only question is about clam price if it will be stable without doubt it is a great invest
Buying CLAM seems to be like buying Just Dice shares. The problem is that we don't know how many CLAMS will be claimed in the future, making them worth less. First you can type getinfo on the console in the clam QT wallet to get the active supply. Currently there are 690K active. Those are dug up, and staked clams that are in circulation. The total potential money supply is currently 15,147K Now you know how many clams could be claimed, so are they now worth something? By your logic (not knowing the true money supply) all crypto is worthless. Sorry, but maybe I took your comment wrong. If you meant worth less then something else, and not worthless, as in having no value. I apologize.. As with anything in the world, clams are worth "what someone is willing to pay for them". Thank you. I wonder how many more CLAMS will be claimed. Staked ones come from the non claimed supply, are they created from nowhere or how does it work? Worth less, a lower amount, not nothing.

Can we know how many CLAM have been claimed relative to the total (potential) supply?

So what is the overall concensus about this? Am I better putting my btc here as a "safe" investment, or should I just convert the coins and invest at just-dice? Any other good "safe" option for earning off coins without automatically jumping into cloud mining? (That's what i'm trying to diversify away from)
Investing in Just Dice would be great if we could still do it with bitcoins, instead of with a coin that has no use outside of Just Dice (and which is highly illiquid).

When I click on the Invest link, between "Help" and "Exchange", nothing happens.
How much has been wagered per day since the website started running?

Is there any trustworthy casino where you can invest BTC?

An update from a Finex employee would be appreciated. Thanks
+1, they should pay more attention to this thread.

Looks like its been a little over a year since the last Bitfinex Audit. Any word if/when another will be happening?
We will have an announcement in regard to this in the coming weeks. It will be a pretty big announcement and we're looking forward to it and hearing what the community thinks. Its been a couple of weeks. Any progress? +1

Great advice was given on this thread.

I'm quite worried about the security of my funds on Bitfinex, and that's why I don't deposit more, while the return for lending money is quite high nowadays. I'd feel better if I saw them usually posting here, like they did in the past.
Can you explain? Till now i thought their security system is fine since they stay in business for so long. Is there a reason to be concerned? How is the security compared to kraken? Until now, of course, but I care about the future, not the past. I'm not talking about account security and that kind of stuff, but about they running with the money, or the website being an scam. I'm lending since like a year ago, and I'm very happy with the returns, but I don't feel comfortable enough to deposit more. I have never used Kraken, I have no idea of what's going on there. I use Bitfinex only to lend, I don't trade.

I miss the support stuff in this thread, at least for commenting announcements or something. Or do they post somewhere else?
The third designated community support guy stuck his head in here some time ago. And never was seen again. The second one at least tried a few times, talking about "a huge faq is in the works".Support here went downhill when Giancarlo moved along. Sad. One would think with more success, more marketshare and more (relative and absolute) fee income BitFinex has, they could hire at least a part-time support guy watching this thread and possibly reddit+mail? Maybe the situation is better on the other channels - but come on, we have 5589 posts and 358527 views in this thread! I wish there was. The only decent investment that I have found is Bitfinex (lending BTC/USD there), and I'm not even sure about that one.

I love lending USD at these rates, I wish it was always like this It sure is great if your just looking to make returns on your usd. If it goes up though you may have been better off buying coins I don't expect BTC to increase in average as much as I'm getting in interest by lending my USD.

BTC lending rates going down again. That sucks after buying more expensive BTC to lend them...

Check out bfxdata, as of lately returns in BTC are about as high as in USD percentage wise.
They are actually higher. I bought BTC to lend them for that reason.
