5201  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is cloud mining reliable? on: May 05, 2015, 04:49:21 AM
the only way to know that we are renting mining rig is, we can choose our pool.

There are cloud mining servics which provide that as well. It does add a bit to the transparency, not that much to profitability.
5202  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: May 05, 2015, 04:48:20 AM
90.78% at this moment. Looks like difficulty is going down later today. Should be under 90%.

It went up .07% which is negligible. Would have been nice if it went down but still negligible

Ok, so it still profitable to gamble with Umisoo. Especially since BTC might jump up a bit more.

The key word is GAMBLE. Umisoo is very obselete miners for a long time. It can collapse anytime you just need to be careful that is why it is so cheap. IF bitcoin falls again it will become unprofitable.

True. But the price has doubled more then once in the past after BTC price swings. Not many other investments can provide that kind of opportunity.
5203  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: StakeMiners.com (Something ain't right) on: May 05, 2015, 04:47:13 AM
First, I do not recommend anything, I play with my own money.

Second, only a total fool can think you do this campaign against Stakeminers cause of altruism. Nobody writes tons and tons unverified accusation just for fun.

What I see so far is about 1 year ROI, been paid on time, regularly.

True, I can stake this by myself but I really have no time to chase coins, sell them, convert everything, check for forks, check for wallet updates of 4,5,10 different PoS currencies so I like what they offer for now.
5204  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: StakeMiners.com (Something ain't right) on: May 04, 2015, 07:29:58 PM
I see no problem with this issue u ve mentioned. The website clearly states there a fee for early withdrawal. I really do not understand why this guy decided to withdraw at 30% fee, his explanation of his ROI not being fast enough is simply not acceptable to me.

Better losing 30% now than 100% later. That would be my take on that.

Seriously if you are investing in this losing 30% is the best you are going to do.

There is a huge issue with this as an investment.

Who is running it?
Are they licensed to carry this sort of security in their country or internationally?
What experience do they have with such a venture?
What experience do they have in securities?
How is the money made in this investment?

Simple explanation anyone would be nice on how this real investment opportunity run by verifiable experts.

Don't put your money in this dog.

As with any other crypto venture we see everyday.
Licence in the cryptoworld??? Which company or service is actually licensed.

I have invested a small amount and so far the result ROI withing a year. Been with them for over a month.
5205  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Top Cloud Miners Compared by Profitability on: May 04, 2015, 07:27:46 PM
Nice to see that GetHashing has made the list.

@OP, the fees for GH are not accurate. I assume that you've based your calculation only on numbers for April which wasn't a great month mainly because of Bitcoins exchange rate. The correct Payout vs Fees calculation from February through April is.

https://i.imgur.com/IoFtKgP.jpg

I'm actually using the "Maintenance fee: $0.0014 per GH/s per day." quoted from the GetHashing purchasing page.

It seems that Maintenance fee s about to get reduced to $0.0013. Nice work GHX.
5206  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 2015 Bitcoin Debit Card Reviews on: May 04, 2015, 07:26:54 PM

Is this card related to Josh Garza in any form?

5208  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: hashtalk.ch hashtalk.org is it a SCAM? on: May 04, 2015, 07:24:23 PM
Anything even remotely connected to Josh Garza is NO WAY for me.

I m fed up with his lies.
5209  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I have 1 BTC to INvest on: May 04, 2015, 05:32:36 AM
3. Gamble, but it's not a good choice for "invest", it's high risk high return.

Don't gamble. That's not very good advice, gambling isn't about profiting, it's actually just a form of entertainment powered by money and since games are easy to beat you're going to find yourself getting greedy. Don't come near gambling especially when you've worked hard for what you earned.  It's easy to lose your money.

If you are only buying 1 btc, just store it in paper somewhere safe and forget about it for 10 years.

May be you will hit lottery some days.

Forgetting about it isn't such a good idea... 😁just check on the price once in a while, but don't touch your coins.

He s got 1 BTC. How rich can he get with that? He needs to do something about it.
5210  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A better way to exit out of Bitcoin on: May 04, 2015, 05:31:47 AM
What is the problem with 1% commission? That s acceptable fee. You want a service which does not ask for papers and does everything for free? No such service around.
5211  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Long-Term Difficulty Speculation Thread on: May 04, 2015, 05:29:02 AM
No need to speculate. It ll go UP. As soon as the new generation of miners gets out, it ll go up.
Until we reach block halving. At that point he price needs to go up big time for the mining to still be profitable. So I would expect a short term decline until the price picks up and then it ll go up again.
5212  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to buy Bitcoin by payza or paypal? on: May 04, 2015, 05:26:12 AM
how to buy Bitcoin by payza or paypal?

High probability of charge back, not many services offer this. Paypal, try localbitcoins.com
Payza sells Bitcoin directly but funds must not come from your credit card. Ask them for more details.
5213  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: cloud mining ?? on: May 04, 2015, 05:24:31 AM
Most likely a scam/ponzi.
What is the mining address of Bit-X ?

Don't know. BitFury does though, feel free to research them: http://www.bitfury.org/

What's cloudmining.website's mining address?

Around a month ago u were so confident in showing Bit-X mining address against someone enquirying about that and within a month somersault ? Customer is paying Bit-X not Bifury... LoLz Cheesy
Absolutely. Don't worry, Bit-X will prove their legitimacy plain and simple.

CMW does not need to show mining address as they are providing payment proof of last six months...

www.cloudmining.website/payments.php

Do you have payment proof or that is another secret of Bit-X ?

If they are mining why aren't those payments coming from freshly mined coins?

Are you talking about cloudmining.website or Bit-x? Cause AFAIK cloudmining.website stop paying. It was obvious ponzi but still sorry people lost money on that one.
5214  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: StakeMiners.com (Something ain't right) on: May 04, 2015, 05:22:30 AM
So unproven really.

They lock you in longer term and no easy way to withdrawal "early" without pain.

That is just not a good investment for anyone it has been around long enough to prove it can payout.

Sounds more like a pyramid / ponzi style system than a longer term investment at this stage.

Why not just buy and hold BTC rather than be TRAPPED in this investment?

How does this investment actually make an investor money? Explain it in simple terms.

You'd be better off punting at Coinarch with the boys there how are professionals. https://www.coinarch.com/

They at least are knowledgeable and experienced in securities unlike this fly by night operation.

I have withdrawn my investment payment is being received.
Felt it wasn't fast enough.

Was charge a 30% withdraw fee on my 2.0001btc investment.

Bitcoin transfer unconfirmed will update when its cleared.

-edit- refund cleared

So you lost BTC on this investment?

Only because i was impatient. And not really i had bought the btc in a 178 so all i lost was profit on the btc its self.

This is better for people who arnt active investors looking for big gains in a short time like im used to.

But they said they would repay investments and they paid mine back -30%

I see no problem with this issue u ve mentioned. The website clearly states there a fee for early withdrawal. I really do not understand why this guy decided to withdraw at 30% fee, his explanation of his ROI not being fast enough is simply not acceptable to me.
5215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin skyrocketed, what would the future economy that is born look like? on: May 03, 2015, 07:45:01 PM
Ugh, difficult topic.

First, we need to introduce some form of consumer protection or there will be no future economy. Scammers and ponzi pumpers need to be deprived from being involved in BTC economy. Then we need Wall Street. Finally, ordinary folks should flock in.

I would not expect the economy to change much, BTC is just more evolved form of electronic payment.
5216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What was the turning point? on: May 03, 2015, 07:41:45 PM
Not a specific even that I can remember. But it is related to a snowball effect, more people now about it and use, they get more new people in it and so on.
5217  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What to invest BTC in? on: May 03, 2015, 07:40:12 PM
It s not new, its been around for a couple of years. I hope you did follow my advice cause the price of DMD Diamond went up 15% in the last two days. It ll go up more since that coin has just been added to Bittrex and we all know how important Chinese market it.

In last few days I didnt even see DMD in bitrex and I dont know for now because I didnt follow bitrex often. And why are you so sure that DMD is going to rise again after this couple of days? Just because it raise in the last 2 days doesnt mean that it will be going well too

I cannot be sure, this is just my opinion.

This coin s got a very limited supply, only 4.38 mill. The rollout s designed in a way that PoW block reward got reduced from 1 DMD per block to 0.2 DMD per block. So PoW s still there and supplies coins but very limited supply. PoS gives you 50% per year.

If you want to test my hypothesis, try to buy 5k DMD and see what happens to the price. It ll go up 15%, at least. NOBODY sells that coin. Ask yourself WHY?

Once more, I like it and I m biased. Make your own decisions where to invest, I m just providing infos.
5218  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is cloud mining reliable? on: May 03, 2015, 07:36:56 PM
it can be profitable. but it goes 6-12 months for the ROI.
When you are a long therm thinker 3-5 years, then i will be profitable!
but not in 1-2 months!

What is the problem with 6-12 months? People, there are no MAGIC coins which ROI in 2 months. Unless you like to gamble.
5219  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: May 03, 2015, 07:35:44 PM
We have that audit issue again. I guess they need to refill they hot wallet again.

Wasn't fast enough?Huh?? What it is in your opinion fast enough? There s no legit crypto service which can give you under 6-8 month ROI. I ve been into crypto for a long time and every single service which promised 2-3 months ROI ended as a scam. If you like to gamble, that s a different story.

Still, losing 30% was a very bad decision. That withdrawal fee ate your profits.
