5201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What the heck is happening to new projects? on: March 30, 2020, 12:09:36 AM
This is much better then. Compare it before bull run 2017-2018 where new projects are almost scam also a lot of people got scammed. Most people learned and now look at the results, only quality and legit projects are kicking and working.
Speaking in bounty campaigns, we also noticed that in last 2017-2018 bull run, easy money if you sold after you got the rewards, but if you hodl them until now, look at the prices.
5202  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it true that Corona Virus may effect trading? on: March 29, 2020, 09:41:20 AM
I think that the Corona virus will definitely affect trading because people who have lost their jobs or are running low on cash will most likely need to withdraw their crypto to pay bills, which will naturally result in less crypto being traded.
But on the other side also, some people who also lost their jobs and have some savings, they can start to trade while they are staying in their homes. But still, for me, it's not advisable, putting your savings on risk, since we all know trading is risky.
But totally, coronavirus(Covid19) is really affected the trading, positive or negative. Like what we saw on recent dump from around $7,500 to around $3800, a lot of people got liquidated.
5203  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Historical Bitcoin price on: March 28, 2020, 12:28:19 AM
I think you need some technical skills in coding here? Especially if you will interact on some API endpoints to get some historical data.
Like if you will plan to get easier to maintain and more accurate data, you gonna probably do some coding here?
Unless you will hire some coders to process your data from other websites/services.
5204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which currency will popular in next bullrun? on: March 28, 2020, 12:19:42 AM
Speaking of altcoins, I'll go for Ethereum. Why? Because of the Ethereum 2.0 or will become proof of stake and especially the Decentralized Finance (DeFi) under with Ethereum. It was already proven few months ago, which the rally of Ethereum is incredible. So, for me, I will expect that again once we will start to rally upwards, and I am still accumulating more Ethereum on these levels.
5205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is there hope for Tezos in 2020? on: March 28, 2020, 12:16:01 AM

If we will be based on technical analysis and see it on chart. Tezoz is quite good for now, sitting in horizontal support of year 2019.
But in this area, we are also tight position, because it could probably dump down to the support and probably dump all the way.
But for me, it's still far since bitcoin dominance these days it's not that kind of volatile.
5206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: March 28, 2020, 12:02:56 AM
MVP and management should start doing the SMB strategy to attract players. $$$. They are the 2nd most big company that owned a team in PBA.
(...)
When it comes to salary, I guess SMB does not give much to their players, players are only attracted because they will be getting big bonuses when they win the championship, and that's big bonuses, so its kinda performance bonus.
I think most of the team also has this kind of bonus/performance bonus? Like winning some tournament or championship. But you are kinda right, SMB could have a bigger bonus compare to other teams.
San Miguel Beermen is an extremely huge team, not only the team but also a corporation in the Philippines. I think their funds or salary for their every player is not so big for them besides they will get a huge advertisement from them.
5207  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Brought Bitcoin in 2017 and sold in 2018 on: March 27, 2020, 11:56:31 PM
(....)
But till now I could not sell them due to that they are in very low position. If ince again I have chance to sell them in price rice in 2020 I may be very happy. But no hope it is according to my fate.
This is an extreme worst-case that also happened to me. By having altcoins by those days, I also experienced this, holding altcoins which almost 50% lost on those days, what I did was I converted all of them to Bitcoin and no regrets, I accepted all my lost before but I am still positive since I converted those in Bitcoin and hoping that Bitcoin will able to cover those losses.
5208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will the gambling addicts do now that the casinos have closed? on: March 27, 2020, 11:50:53 PM
They will always find ways. Gamblers always be a gambler. For example here in our country, the cockfighting area already temporarily suspended by the government but people still find ways to organize illegal or secret cockfighting. And the worst here, they can broadcast it live so some online cockfighting can also benefit it and cater to some online gamblers on their website.
5209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Right time for gambling addicts to come out of addiction? on: March 26, 2020, 12:52:27 AM
I can share the current situation here in our country.
One of the famous gambling scenes here is cockfighting. But because of this recent coronavirus outbreak.
The government has a temporary shutdown for all cockfighting.
But still, there are some people even government employees organized a illegal cockfighting which is the only secret for some people what to gamble.
This is really the cause of being a gambling addict, they always find a ways to gamble even they have to obey the law.

Most of the cockfighting enthusiast i could say are gambling addicts and with the recent lockdown, they suddenly and abruptly felt the effect of not being to gamble and see those cocks fighting and some of them just could not cope with that, they will always find ways to held those activities illegally which for me is very risky. Those government officials spearheading those illegal acts should be hang in the town plaza  Smiley, they are putting the health of their constituents in a great risk as we are on the midst of a battle which we can't see our opponents.

This is the right time for gambling addicts to relax and feel the effect of not gambling for weeks and if the effect is positive then moving away from gambling should be contemplated.
They are really dumb, one of the positive victims of coronavirus (covid19) was a cockfighting gambler from Davao City I think and he went to a cockfighting stadium in Davao City before he was tested for positive in coronavirus (covid19), and I think he was dead now. And the government of said city already contacting all gamblers went to the stadium. It's extremely dangerous, I am thinking also that gambling can kill you Cheesy, even you will go home with lot of winnings but you are not aware of your health and you may also put the lives of your family at risk.
5210  Economy / Speculation / Re: COVID-19 - The major reason for the current fall of Bitcoin on: March 26, 2020, 12:47:20 AM
The major reason for this fall is fear. When fear enters the market,  it  creates panic and  people then to liquidate their money to a fiat funds that they can easily acess for their survival,  resulting to dumping and hence,  a fall in price.
I think most of the people who panic last time were affected by major markets in the world, just like stocks. As we experienced, most of the markets dumped, not only in cryptocurrency or Bitcoin but also in major stocks in the world.
So, after the recent dump on Bitcoin, which almost 50% within just 24 hours. Here we are now, from around $3,800+ dump, we already almost doubled the price now which is currently we are on $6,700+ level. This is extremely good for Bitcoin.

5213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COVID-19 and its effect in Gambling World on: March 25, 2020, 01:14:47 PM
If most of the people don't have money anymore because no more work, it could also affect their gambling life, no money, possibly can't deposit and play online.
Definitely, it would be so stupid to still gamble if we are having a problem with our income these days.
Our focus now is to prevent getting infected and to survive while staying at home, gambling has to be eliminated as part of our activity as we are not anymore illegible to gamble since we will break the principle of "gamble what you can afford to lose".. we can't afford to lose money at this time.
I am also a little bit worried about this kind of situation because those savings of other people who got no more jobs will also put into danger.
Because as we all know that gambling is also a kind of entertainment or such activity for some people who get bored, so there are still many possibilities that they can use their savings for their family to play gambling online.
I hope most of us become responsible especially these kinds of situations.
5214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Corona crisis will be used to implement mass surveillance, BTC to the moooon...? on: March 25, 2020, 01:06:55 PM
Possibly a big impact also in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
But what if most of the government will start to implement much stricter laws against Bitcoin? We all know these past years how the price of Bitcoin affected because of some countries start banning or making some laws against Bitcoin.
But Bitcoin still here. Although, we can make it but still, it takes time.
5215  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not as risky as many think. on: March 25, 2020, 12:56:57 PM
Bitcoin becomes known as risky because of its volatility and I agree on it, that's the way other people think.
@jackg is right, Bitcoin is a bit like new technology.
Bitcoin still young and I also believe as we go along, the price volatility of Bitcoin will decrease since we have only limited Bitcoin.
But we still can't force other people to believe that Bitcoin is not risky, they still have their own reasons and opinions.
5216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COVID-19 and its effect in Gambling World on: March 25, 2020, 12:50:03 PM
I believe that all gamblers, given the danger of virus infection, prefer to play online, comfortably from home, perhaps in the future when everything is over, we will return to play physically outside, but until then the online gambling community can only grow...
But we should also acknowledge the financial part of it. Since some of the people already don't have a job anymore because of this coronavirus (covid19) outbreak, unless they can still work from home and still can earn money.
If most of the people don't have money anymore because no more work, it could also affect their gambling life, no money, possibly can't deposit and play online.
5217  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading platform verification on: March 25, 2020, 12:46:33 PM
Wow. It's already red flag for me since the minimum deposit $500. I can't even afford to deposit that kind of amount for trading, it's hilarious.
And for sure the minimum amount in withdrawal (if ever you can still withdraw your money after you deposit  Grin) is also possible high.
It's really scary to risk your money on this kind of trading platform, especially the minimum deposit it's kinda huge.
5218  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you think this is a good strategy ? on: March 25, 2020, 12:43:17 PM
It's a good strategy, no risk at all. But, the problem there is you should always be online since your stop loss is very close to your buying point.
(...)
That's exactly the point. No risk at all but have a good target.
And also the problem here is the fee in the exchange.

And another come into my mind is;
What if after he bought and the price went down? What will happen? If he/she will put a stop loss on the price where he/she bought then it could be like a market sell and definitely a loss on the trade depends on the price where the sell order triggered.
5219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Old crypto ways fades away easily on: March 24, 2020, 11:44:47 AM
Because everything change also in cryptocurrency.
Do you think that there are also lot of money are being scammed before, while some are earning huge money?
I think today is better than before. Because today, most of the projects now are kinda legit continue to progress.
While if you see some shitcoins, they are gone or starting to fade away.
5220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: High rewards still possible I'm bounties? on: March 23, 2020, 10:45:06 AM
What kind of Bounties? If you are thinking bounty campaigns just like doing here in forum, like sharing some posts in social medias or creating some articles, it's kinda difficult in just short period of time.
But what if some bounty campaign that into their systems, like bug bounties or some penetrations in their system or project to avoid some future hacks or glitches. But you need some technical skills here and critical thinking.
