5201  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don;t be tempted to Sell OUT; HODL on: July 23, 2019, 04:16:28 PM
Right now, the price seems to be a bit stable, now I can understand if you want to sell when its going down because you want to get rid of it before it hits bottom and maybe you are right, after you sell your coins the price keeps going down and you are lucky to buy it back from even cheaper, or maybe you are wrong and the price instead goes up and you are there with your cash and nothing else with your loss.

Now, I can understand when its going up as well because maybe it will go down and you will be able to buy back cheap or you just want to take your profit and go, those are all reasonable requests. However when its stable there is no need to sell at all, its stable and not doing anything that can hurt you or profit you, just let it be if you can.
5202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Its time for altcoins as well on: July 23, 2019, 01:54:06 PM
I can see that price of bitcoin is going up after that dump occurred in the last few days so which might be the time for making our investments on altcoins because looks like altcoins were also just following the path so we will have new all time high price for most of the coins in near future.
I think you can wait a little longer, altcoin will continue to fall. Of course buying altcoins is not bad either, it's very cheap. Hold it long time and not the garbage coin.
Except you are waiting to buy at zero now, because most of the altcoins has bled so much that they are almost bleeding to death, so which time is right to buy other than now, anyone that is ready to make investment in any coin should better do that now, because altcoins season usually does not announce, it come suddenly and we don’t know exactly when it will start, the signs are already everywhere, many people are also preparing for altcoins now, so I think this is the perfect buy time.

I agree with you that investor’s needs to choose their altcoins investment wisely so that they don’t buy garbage coins and end up storing garbage coins in their portfolio, the best altcoins to buy are the ones listed as top altcoins on these large exchanges like Binance and maybe bitfiniex.
5203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which crypto-currency for investment/trading? on: July 23, 2019, 01:24:38 PM
We have so many options for investment, and we can choose any coins we want. But for trading, we need to search one by one, so we can find the right coins for trading because, in every day, the altcoin position will always change, so that will make us find the right coins to trade. Once we can find one or more coins, we need to analyze what price we should enter the trade, and we need to find a low price to buy.
It is not only trading that requires you carefully choosing the right coin to invest in, it is very necessary also that you are picky about coins before you invest in them because not all the coins that you see in the market has plan for future, some of them are just here for the temporary, and if you make the mistake of investing in them for a long term, you may end up losing such investment for now.

So, for both Investment and trading, we need to do a very vigorous research and ensure that such project has a product that is really working and will be used by people. Any project without a real case will never increase in value and there will not be much volatility that will make it perfect for trading, and I think the best coins to trade right now lies within the top 20 coins.
5204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 🔥🔥What do you think of Justin Sun’s invitation to Trump’s Buffett lunch?🔥🔥 on: July 23, 2019, 08:22:46 AM
He literally talked to him like trump talks himself Cheesy He is obviously not a person that likes trump but at the same time wants him on his side because if you can get trump and warren buffet come out of a lunch saying bitcoin and other altcoins could have a bright future then I can honestly promise you that price will end up at 20+ thousand dollars in a week.

Having warren buffets blessing is already an amazing deal as he is the most astounding investor of all times but if you can also add the president of united states on top of that it is just the cherry on top of a cake. You may like trump or hate him but unfortunately he IS the president in USA and having him on our side would benefit us a lot and increase the price for our side. I would love it if he actually takes up on the offer and goes.
5205  Economy / Economics / Re: CEO - WIREX: "GOODBYE Banknotes... Payments will be DIGITAL" - Cryptonites on: July 23, 2019, 07:05:18 AM
One thing that is still making bank note very effective is the illiteracy in various countries, there are people who would not be able to cope if they completely enforce cashless policy because of their lack of education.
I am one of the few who believe illiteracy is a bane to the good of digital payment, howbeit cryptocurrency. The complexity and modus operandi of this isn't that easy to grasp by an illiterate folk. Though this may not seem a problem for the infotech suave dudes, it isn't that way for others especially the elderly ones. Again, lack of constant electricity supply in poor regions and third world countries can not be ruled out as a force against digital currency growth. You need not necessarily need electricity to check and count fiat. But you definitely need that for digital stuff to go through.
That is why the people that will really benefit from blockchain technology/cryptocurrency more are the next generation, by the time these elderly ones die, the younger ones would have already been  knowledgeable about the whole crypto system, every year, technology keeps advancing and as it advances, it exposes lots of people to the world of technology and even the ones that are not literate, these ones will never see their younger ones be like them which is why they try everything possible to ensure that they are well educated.

So illiteracy should not really be a problem in future, so I fully see a world of digital payment in the next generation to come, and probably there would have been another advanced technology by then.
5206  Economy / Economics / Re: How can I start a business that offers crypto services? on: July 23, 2019, 05:02:40 AM
I had always this dream of building a crypto passive income service, there are ones like it but not that many use it and I really want something like that to become huge, people really want to make money for free and they really want to not work for it, so why not create a place where you put your money in (and take out whenever you want) and your money makes money for you? Even would have a article section for SEO purposes to tell people ways of doing exactly that.

A place where masternodes are collective, you need 1000 dash? well instead of one person with 1000 dash, we can have 10 person with 100 dash instead? or even less, staking? you have hard time staking because you have low amounts? well with this system you will get it quicker because we are a collective. Basically something that already exists but not marketed very well, if you could start a crypto business about that than I would love to help out anyway I can as well.
If you have a product to sell and you want to receive bitcoin for it the options are insane. However we do not have a website like fiverr or upwork for people who are willing to sell their time. Maybe its time we start making a website like that where people who are coders, designers, writers and whatever else (even bounty would be used there) to actually find work and people who are looking for something like that to find workers.

The deal is we have people who are looking for coders and designers and writers and what not, however they can't see their portfolio right now and if we build a website like fiverr but for bitcoin (right now you can pay with bitcoin on fiverr but can't withdraw with bitcoin) then we can see the portfolios of those people as well and see how well they are in their work.
5207  Economy / Economics / Re: Are Blockchain Projects in Northeast Asia can change the economy? on: July 23, 2019, 04:25:15 AM
Can it change the economy in a macro sense? I doubt so but it could totally change a few peoples lives that is for sure. If you are interested in these projects and find kindred spirits that are also interested than you can create your own sort of barter system whereas many people will still not use it.

However, that doesn't mean its limited, the number of users could grow constantly as long as the project managers and owners keep working on it. That is literally why bitcoin is so loved and number one at all times, even though there are ups and downs in user numbers the general audience of bitcoin always grows, more and more people know about bitcoin and more people start to use it as well. Hence if those things keep growing it can have affect on many people.
5208  Economy / Economics / Re: Thoughts for the day - Past and Futures on: July 23, 2019, 03:55:06 AM
I think you are quite right but you can also support this thesis by look at the previous high jumps on the prices as well, it was quite similar in the sense that it moved radically before it started to become flat and bollinger band tightening each time and then it moved one direction radically.

Now, this proves that it could also go down since in the past going down happened in the same sense as well and with one trigger it could drop under 8k as well but it also proves that it can do it both ways up or down so you are 100% right that it is waiting for a trigger to move radically and 50% right that its gonna be upside. However historical data has never been favorable in bitcoin world so I can't really say something that happened in the past will definitely happen in the future neither.
5209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: July 22, 2019, 05:40:18 PM
I guess what else were you expecting Celtics to do? Get a veteran instead of a decent role player? Kanter will never be the star of a team, he is just a center that fills a void for teams and last season after Nurkic went down dude really played well enough that they went as far as western conference finals. Hence I think he is doing alright, of course he wasn't the reason why they went as far as western conference finals but at least he wasn't the reason why they didn't.

Hence, I think in a team that has absolutely no center aside from Theis, dude will be fine, without Kanter Celtics would have just Theis as center and nobody else, they picked up the right guy for right scenario, they wanted to get Walker so they had no money to get a decent center, Cousins also didn't want to join so there was nothing left to do but get Kanter. They made the best out of a bad situation.

5211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Opinions on BNB for the future maybe in few years time? on: July 22, 2019, 01:44:00 PM

What do you guys think about BNB(Binance coin) do you guys think it can be the boss of altcoins?
Why not? It can always be on top of all Altcoins. I can see some shed of light, I mean BNB has a great platform and aside from ETH, BNB is one of my favorite coin. I always trade BNB and I can prove that it is really worth trading and investing.
I usually do have this same mentality too, but I doubt if Binance can still be the boss of altcoins, because we also have some very promising projects and even existing projects that are seriously putting efforts in their projects too, I can see that Ethereum too have been doing a whole lots lately to keep up with the space allocated to them which I am very sure they are not willing to ever loose that space anytime soon.

Secondly, the release of Libra coin would really change a whole lot in the cryptocurrency market, and it is when these coin is released that we will know the faith of some of these coins that has been claiming so though because seems the project Facebook is coming up with on their coin spans across most areas that some of these altcoins have, and we all know how wide their user’s base is.
5212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the purpose of investing in alts? Make Fiat Money Or Make More BTC? on: July 22, 2019, 11:35:12 AM
Why isn't there a third option? Hoping that it will be the norm for currency? I mean I am pretty sure bitcoin will become more of a currency way before any other currency and bitcoin could be used and spent in some places right now (not enough imo) but what if I want to invest into eth and want eth to be the standard payment option globally.

We have usa dollars in america, we have British pounds in UK, we have euro in Europe and yuan in china, maybe I want eth to be the global thing where people all around the world accepts aside from their own national currency.

So, when you go to china you can spend yuan or eth, you go usa and you spend dollars or eth, you go uk than you spend pound or eth. Is that too much to ask right now? I mean surely with enough time it could happen? Maybe not now but in 20 years? Why not.
5213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why the martingale system sucks! (doubling down on losses) on: July 22, 2019, 06:44:39 AM
Despite your post, hundreds of greedy gamblers use the martingale tactic every day.You can't just force them to stop using it.We all know that martingale sucks, but the greed and gambling addiction blinds the poor people, who keep using it until they get broke. The people, who are stupid enough to believe in this martingale  bullshit, usually deserve to lose their money. Sad
I am sorry to say but you really do not sound so intelligent with this post. What do you mean by gambler using strategies has been greedy? Is this your definition of greed?  Are you aware that gambling is someone’s profession and this is where most bills are been paid? So trying all available strategies to win is inevitable in this game and this is the reason a lot of us have given this and many other strategies a trial

It hurts that martingale is not really for small gamblers and it has been overhyped. The first time I read about its effectiveness, I was lured to play with a large amount, although I still lost it all because it’s not the kind of amount required for such strategy.
5214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: July 21, 2019, 05:06:28 PM
The point of getting his can't be to actually use his talents, that ship has been long gone, he did played only a bit in Lakers last season and had one game winning block against Trae Young I can remember but aside from that he was nowhere to be found and Lakers actually used him for his talents since he had absolutely nobody to play in Center position for a long time.

Rockets have Capela there and he is one of the best young players in our league for center position, of course not the best but you can only have so many good centers and Capela is definitely top 10 active ones. What rockets is probably trying to do is get chandler to teach Capela how to play better, it is a very valuable thing to have a great guy like Chandler and a great kid like Capela and put them together on the practices.
5215  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Trading Platform That Allows Multi-Exchanges + Stop Losses? on: July 21, 2019, 04:04:42 PM
Not too much to ask mate because there is an application that already developed to do this, it is called tab trader, I have been using tab trader to trade across many exchanges, once you link the particular exchange to it using the generated API, you can see all you tokens at once in each of the exchanges and then trade there. You can set up your stop loss and then take profit.

I think you should try and check that out, but I am sure it meets all the criteria that you stated here, even though it is not 100 percent, but at least you can get 80 percent perfection. I don’t think I know of any other application other than this one, maybe I can also learn from other people if there are any.
5216  Economy / Economics / Re: Looking at Bitcoin's price increase via YEARLY LOWS on: July 21, 2019, 07:42:12 AM
It does prove bitcoin as a good investment if you get in the right time, it still doesn't make a difference to people who bought at 20 thousand dollars. Do not forget that in order to have an all time high it means someone has to buy from the top, if it was 20 thousand dollars there needs to be someone who bought at 20 thousand dollars to make that price.

Now, of course with time that will be reached, maybe in a month, maybe in a decade who knows but it will be reached, bitcoin is against inflation of dollar which is a good race because the more inflation goes up the higher price of bitcoin will be and that is why with years it will only go up but if you bought from the peak prices then you would have to wait. Same happened with people who bought from 1400 dollars back in the day, they finally made their money back but it took a good while before they reached there.
5217  Other / Archival / Re: Is KYC benefit to crypto people or not on: July 21, 2019, 05:51:13 AM
It both does a bit but also doesn't. Now if KYC is applied to exchange on the request of government and then exchange gives those information to government it is a bad thing for the user because you may not want your information and your trading known by the government, you want to keep your bitcoins and crypto all secret maybe or at least don't want government to put their nose in these things.

However, it is also a good thing because when regulated you can continue your operations without interruption, they are asking for KYC and exchange pays their taxes so everything goes according to law and no problem arises and you get to keep trading however you wish to without worrying about IRS coming through the door. Hence, it is both a good thing but also a bad thing.
5218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tokenomics of a utility token on: July 21, 2019, 04:26:54 AM
I think the important fact that a utility token as important as it is used should be emphasized as well. I mean you can totally build a token that has a utility but as long as people do not use it then whats the point of it?

So, yeah utility is an important fact for it but is it actually utilized is much more important. There are coins with some utility and they are not used that much which makes them not important and their price either stagnant or even go down because people don't use it.

I actually have one of those coins that has a utility but since nobody really cares about that utility and not using it the price keeps going down all the time. Sometimes a whale buys a bit and increases the price but that's it, so an emphasize on utility token being actually utilized is very important.
5219  Economy / Speculation / Re: Speculating with Tom Lee on: July 20, 2019, 05:24:36 PM
Yeah I agree, it is not speculation it is just he is a person who has a decent amount of bitcoin and wants it to go up. Anyone who has bitcoin wants it to go up, he is just a person who people give a microphone to and not us, if they asked me what I was thinking about bitcoin for an article or even on shows I would say it will go up too because if I tell to enough people eventually people may start believing and buying and when they buy the price goes up.

So, Tom Lee is not speculating, he is not even really presenting any real facts neither, he just wants bitcoin to go up really bad so he can sell it all and make a huge profit and basically be rich himself. He wants exactly what every one of us here wants, just on a bigger scale with a national stage.
5220  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does Facebooks's Libra cause the growth of bitcoin? on: July 20, 2019, 04:50:56 PM
I think there is a good chance it did that indirectly. I mean facebooks libra is not liked by the financial world that much, they see this as power grab by facebook and they are afraid that facebook going into finance would have a big hurt in financial world of wall streets and similar stuff around the world so they want to prevent it. That in return makes people focus on bitcoin a lot more, they have been invested in bitcoin far longer and even financial big corporations like JP Morgan has bitcoin for sure which means they are trying to steer people away from Libra and into bitcoin if they want to work with blockchain or crypto technology. So, in a sense yes Libra did made bitcoin bigger but not directly, it did it without really wanting that to happen.
