5201  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTB] Credit/Debit card with online banking and bank account data on: February 16, 2017, 08:16:30 AM
It is extremely risky doing something like this online. It's illegal to share bank account details like this, banks don't like it and you are wide open to the account holder taking your money. There is a reason things like a credit check and identity documents are required to open the account. Oh, and most people who are asking for this sort of service are looking to steal money and attempt to launder it.
5202  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it profitable to run a Bitcoin faucet in 2017 on: February 15, 2017, 05:15:48 PM
I'm not sure if there are plugins that can turn wordpress in to a faucet, but you'd probably be better off using some custom built software. Wordpress is widely used, so it is a bit target for hackers and any exploits they find will affect your setup. Nobody can really define how much it will cost to fund a faucet, but you need to cover any funds that are earned until the advertisers pay you
5203  Other / Politics & Society / Re: ISRO sends 104 satellites in one go, breaks world record on: February 15, 2017, 04:40:46 PM
I can not understand, if indeed all countries suffer such losses from industrial espionage to the Chinese, why there is still no consolidated position on combating the country. This is beneficial to all.

That is the thing about the internet, it is very hard to trace who is hacking you. If chinese hackers take over a computer in Europe and route all their espionage through that server, it looks like someone in Europe is hacking you. They'll also wipe out any records that they were on the server in the first place. That is how you get away with stealing corporate secrets and it never being traced back to you. China also supplies a lot of items around the world at very cheap prices, so if you annoy them and they ban exports to you - the public will get very upset at having to pay a little more.

Back on topic: It is great to see another country investing so much in space exploration, because if humans are to survive then we need to spread out from a single planet.
5204  Economy / Digital goods / Re: 1,000 EURO PER Week On Ebay NO_Scam! Simple Money-Making Method With IPTV on: February 15, 2017, 04:25:15 PM
The screenshot with the revenue highlighted could be a months worth of sales, so isn't a very reliable indicator of a weeks worth of income. Also, I'd imagine it is fairly easy to achieve 1,000 euros per week but if it cost you 990 euros to make it, then it's hardly a decent investment.
5205  Economy / Reputation / Re: Why is Lauda still considered trusted? on: February 15, 2017, 04:15:00 PM
Why does it matter to you? Plenty of people did business with Lauda before the latest "issue" and have not changed their mind about those deals. Lauda lost their position as a member of staff and that is a satisfactory response for most normal people. Oh, and this is a crying thread.
5206  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: this site fully scam :( on: February 15, 2017, 01:01:46 PM
This is a "High Yield Investment Program" or put in another way, an absolute scam. If these people were able to turn around 6% per hour consistently, why would they ever need investors?

Is this person on Facebook actually your friend or some random stranger? If he is your friend, you should set them straight that they're ripping people off. If it is a stranger, it's probably a fake account set up to deceive people into handing over money.
5207  Economy / Exchanges / Re: buy bitcoin with credit card without registraation on: February 15, 2017, 10:12:47 AM
Any company that offers this service will get shut down real quick by the authorities in their country, as it makes money laundering too easy. Why, unless you're using a stolen card, would you have a problem with companies verifying your identity?
5208  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [WARNING] Reporting Suspicious Trading Practice on: February 15, 2017, 10:08:07 AM
It's been happening since localbitcoins opened, you do have to stay wary and assume anyone working outside the rules is trying to scam you. Does this paytm service in India allow you to do chargebacks like paypal? That's probably the end result if he was able to find suckers to fall for it.
5209  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: WTS ITUNES US ACCOUNT WITH 44$ bal on: February 15, 2017, 09:48:32 AM
Is it your account or did you steal it? I'm pretty sure itunes accounts are non-transferrable, so anyone who buys it would likely lose it in the long run. You'd be lucky to get 10% of the value of the account.
5210  Other / Meta / Re: Is trolling or personal attacks allowed? Seems like it on: February 15, 2017, 09:39:30 AM
There is not enough staff in the world to handle every case of "trolling" and you should just ignore this person. Hell, there is an "ignore" button right under their username. You should definitely give them a negative reputation point and include a reference link to this thread - so others are aware of their behaviour in future.
5211  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ceudo.com SCAM on: February 15, 2017, 08:53:59 AM
Why don't you deal with the scam accusations against your account first? Your account looks like it was hacked and/or sold. If you fell for a "bitcoin doubling" scam then you kind of deserve it for being greedy.
5212  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Putin's hand at the White House on: February 14, 2017, 08:59:32 PM
Duh.
Please give me an example of a Western democracy.
I'd love to see that.
Putin is a dictator but it's not like we're doing much better.
Let's take for example America. Yes, I agree that American democracy is not perfect, but the President chose almost 50: 50. In dictatorial countries such as Russia votes for Putin's 80-90% of the population. If you're interested I still have a lot of examples.

America is probably one of the worst examples of democracy you can use. Back in the good old days it might have worked, when everyone was pulling together and came to a compromise. Now politicians are played like puppets by mega-corporations with very deep pockets. Apparently, you are either republican or democrat, which is twisted to mean you cannot have an opinion that disagrees with particular policies within your party. You might agree with medicare, but disagree with abortion, but because you vote republican there is never any change in discussion on the different topics because "its always been that way"

I may just keep and load it up

There are so many options to store your bitcoin, you would probably end up losing out on money in the long run if you were to do this. People would prefer an untouched bar if you ever want to sell it in future and you're more likely to get a higher premium on it.
5214  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Snowden ‘Not Afraid’ If Russia Hands Him Over To US on: February 14, 2017, 10:45:22 AM
It doesn't matter if he is afraid or not. He is just being used as a bargaining chip, Putin hands him to America, Trump looks good and talks about dropping the trillion dollar sanctions against Russia out of "good will". Russia doesn't want whistleblowers either, so it's a win win for them all round.
5215  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Keep away from CoinURL, it's a scam. on: February 14, 2017, 10:35:42 AM
I used to defend coinurl but over the last couple months they've been worse than ever. They're in an easy position, making commissions from advertising with little work, yet they struggle to set up a consistent payment schedule. It's been 2 months since my last successful withdrawal, when they used to send them 2-3 times a week. I think they have been a victim of their own success and simply don't care about publishers because they have so many.
5216  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: rAISellers is a scammer. on: February 14, 2017, 10:31:54 AM
I mean, what do you expect to happen in this situation? If it looks too good to be true, then it probably is. Any sort of gift card or code going for this cheap is likely to be using stolen credit cardss and may not exist at all. There are a lot of people hanging around here that are scamming tiny amounts and signing up for new accounts to do it again.
5217  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FerryCorsten is a scammer on: February 14, 2017, 10:28:51 AM
Can you do a payment reversal on paypal, so you don't lose out? Any trade involving paypal is risky and that is plastered all over the forum. You should try localbitcoins next time and pay via bank transfer, it's still risky but you get to see their trading history and verifications.
5218  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beware of WinBIts - He's a scammer! on: February 12, 2017, 01:36:31 PM

This confirmation was also sent to [snip]@gmail.com

You should edit your post and take the email address out of it. It does not prove anything, you could have transferred the hosting and later contacted the web host to take it back.

Was a domain purchased in this deal? It will be straight forward to verify ownership now, what is the domain.
5219  Economy / Goods / Re: Silver Gift Sets on: February 12, 2017, 10:11:04 AM
You're much more likely to get interest if you post photos of them (with your username and the current date on a piece of paper next to it). Olympic and moon landing stuff should sounds decent, but it all depends on the year and condition of the coins if you're looking for the best price.
5220  Economy / Speculation / Re: When would you expect new announcement from PBOC on: February 12, 2017, 09:54:46 AM
Has the investigation into BTCC and other Chinese miners/traders come to a conclusion yet? The "punishment" that they receive will be a decent indicator of how far the Chinese authorities will tolerate bitcoin. They'll probably want to wrap it up fairly soon as these are otherwise productive Chinese companies. I have a feeling they will tolerate the mining side of operations but require some heavy identity verification in order to trade.
