Can you provide screenshots and preferably blockchain evidence (i.e. your deposit, sign the address) so that we can confirm that your claims have substance? Otherwise, there are only words to go on about and those may or may not be valid.

This is not to say that I think your claims are wrong, but there have been countless times that gamblers have rageposted to complain about a casino simply due to a loss or some other situation.
5202  Economy / Gambling / Re: Flip a coin and win 200% on: November 20, 2016, 08:55:09 PM
I tested sites with free money, and after few minutes i decided not to deposit here.

I think this is very bad way to promote your site. All rolls are bet on tail, and on head i actually had few green hits.

You should choose the right coin then, its provably fair.
That's not the issue, heh.

I tried playing your game, and rolled on tails (which by the way offers better odds than heads according to your provably fair box). All of the winning generated numbers were counted as losses. All of them. Only on heads was I able to win. Close the site for maintenance and fix your game, otherwise you're opening a literal scam.

Anyone can test it out - flip a bunch of times on tails and then check the "flip history" to see the roll numbers.

The profiles' addresses are linked to the wallet

Then simply don't sell the accounts, or don't accept the accounts as collateral. What's wrong with not trusting someone because they're trying to sell an account?
5207  Economy / Gambling / Re: Doubloon.co ֍ Minesweeper Game ֍ Jackpot Chance upto 20 BTC! on: November 15, 2016, 07:01:23 AM
Ok, so I did a few test bets so see for myself how it works (since, again, there's no clear rules posted anywhere either on the site or on this thread) and I found kind of a good news/bad news.  The good news is that the jackpot % DOES seem to scale for bets that would exceed the 20BTC jackpot.  The bad news is that it seems like the house edge is 2% across the board which is quite high.

100 bit bet: https://www.moneypot.com/bets/640214598

1000 bit bet: https://www.moneypot.com/bets/640213723

10000 bit bet: https://www.moneypot.com/bets/640260805

You'll see the 10,000 bit bet has a higher % chance of hitting the jackpot because the jackpot is less than 10000x.  This is good.  But, the HE seems to be 2% for every bet.  This is bad, especially since it's promoted as having a "~1% House Edge" and also because there's a bitsweep on another MP-backed site that's only 1% HE.

I do like the jackpot aspect and I appreciate that it's applied in a way that makes sense and scales to larger bets, but the house edge being double what it's advertised as is going to be a dealbreaker for me.

Example of a 1% house edge bet: https://www.moneypot.com/bets/640264481

It seems that the 1 mine games (at least initially anyway) have a house edge of 2%.

But haven't we already seen <1% house edge games courtesy of JackpotRacer?

one bet the HE is 2%
https://www.moneypot.com/bets/640070101
and the probability is 0.00007997732609510422% translated in chance to hit the JP is 1 in 1 250 354 bets
the payout is wager x 10 000

another one is 0.52% HE
https://www.moneypot.com/bets/640069650
and the probability is 0.0000476837158203125% translated in chance to hit the JP is 1 in 2 097 152 bets
and the payout is wager x 10 000

another one is 0.20% HE
https://www.moneypot.com/bets/640070136
and the probability is 0.00007997732609510422% translated in chance to hit the JP is 1 in 1 250 354 bets

5208  Economy / Lending / Re: You should not leave positive trust if you are an escrow on: November 15, 2016, 06:27:21 AM
pharma you were just an example i didnt want to paste everything similar to your trust as i said vods trust on something like that should be neutral because it is just an opinion there were no risk involved
Your argument is based entirely on the fact that you think positive trust should only be given after trades. However... "Positive - You trust this person or had a successful trade."

Simply trusting an individual can be a reason to leave positive trust. Do you have to have traded with someone to think that they are trustworthy? I don't think so.

And because of this, the same should be (and is) applied to negative trust.
5209  Economy / Gambling / Re: Doubloon.co ֍ Minesweeper Game ֍ Jackpot Chance upto 20 BTC! on: November 15, 2016, 06:21:45 AM

Will the jackpot % win rate scale to my bet or is it a static % and caps at 20BTC?  Because if it's the latter that means the max bet is 2000 bits which is way too small.  But if it's the former and larger bets have a higher % of hitting the 20BTC jackpot that's way better.

I am very interested in your opinions about the math and chances of this JP cause we also want to add a JP to our sweeper

but we have a bit of headache as user @Bunt said > every click is a new bet so lets try to do the math

one bet the HE is 2%
https://www.moneypot.com/bets/640070101
and the probability is 0.00007997732609510422% translated in chance to hit the JP is 1 in 1 250 354 bets
the payout is wager x 10 000

another one is 0.52% HE
https://www.moneypot.com/bets/640069650
and the probability is 0.0000476837158203125% translated in chance to hit the JP is 1 in 2 097 152 bets
and the payout is wager x 10 000

another one is 0.20% HE
https://www.moneypot.com/bets/640070136
and the probability is 0.00007997732609510422% translated in chance to hit the JP is 1 in 1 250 354 bets
and the payout is wager x 10 000

payout is always wager x 10 000

please help me to understand why the 0.52% HE and 0.20% HE bets are accepted by MP (regarding the JP)

the 2% HE sounds fine to me

but if each click is a new bet then I dont understand that the 0.52% HE and 0.20% HE bets are accepted by MP and MP would pay wager x 10 000

what did I miss here cause I thought only +EV bets are accepted by MP/Investors? and thankful to everyone who can explain

thx

The 0.2% house edge bet is still +ev for MP and the investors. The theoretical return on those rates & percentages yields ~1.205134 bits, and the bet was 1.21 bits. The player still pays a relatively high total house edge, since they are repeatedly gambling the wager and payout if they use the same board.

Usually, anything that promises abnormally high returns is a scam. If they have a lack of information or bad English on their site/FAQ's, they're most likely scams.
5211  Economy / Reputation / Re: Known alts of anyone: User generated on: November 13, 2016, 03:40:42 PM
Hi Timelord and Lauda!

is only Address connection a Proof? you guys don't consider anything else as proof?

I am not linking them just because their UID are close and they looks farmed. Their UID was next Thing for me. first thing which got my attention is something else...

I asked all twitter and facebook participants to send me a PM to verify their accounts and here you go:

I got shocked when I receive same Message from 50 Users.
It is not hard to understand the same guy copy pasted the same message with all of his alts.Any sensible will never say these are just a coincidence . he only replace twitter, facebook accounts..

I tried to Ignored them and Assume that matching of their messages is a coincidence but I can't...

as I said above the UIDs was not the first thing for me.. after seeing these messages, than I go through everyon'e profile and I found:

1: Most of the accounts are farmed.. their UIDs are totally close.. some of them are hero, Sr and full members though.

2: all of them are russian Board Spammers and Shit posters...

3: all of their facebook and twitter accounts are farmed and only used for earning from campaigns and bounty.. I didn't see even a single Photo or any Text as a status update from them. none of them are personal accounts.

I don't think there is any other proof and evidence needed..

(Note: Don't quote my post. it is already irritating enough)

At least 90% of those messages are from the same person if the same layout is followed through and through. There is no way that it's a coincidence - the messages follow, "my name in (twitter or facebook) [name]". If every single message had that, with a following "confirm me" then there's definitely a high chance that they are the same.

Along with the fact that the UIDs are close, and that the Facebook and Twitter accounts are farmed, I think you should simply block them from the campaign and in fact ignore them completely. Do you have a full copy & pasteable list of the names?

Also, if two people have the same address in different posts, then you can only conclude this:

If user A posted first and user B posted second, then user B is potentially connected to user A, but user A is not connected to user B. This should hold true in most cases.

Say for example user A was a scammer and user B was a regular member. If user B posted user A's address, then user B is a scammer.

But if user A is a regular user and user B is a scammer, if user B posted user A's address, there is no linkage between A and B.
5212  Economy / Gambling / Re: Hillary vs Trump betting: what are the best sites? on: November 13, 2016, 01:38:00 AM
Look the Electroal Votes won't change anything. He won by a huge margin and if any of those electorials vote against him there will be fines and reprecussions. Plus many of the electorial votes are for Trump and Not against him. I highly doubt people will vote the other way just because of some protests.

Completely wrong, though. The electoral votes DID change things. Instead of America being based on the popular vote (which candidate had more of the population vote for them) it's based on the electoral college. If it were based on the popular vote, Clinton would have won. But she didn't, due to the US's system of giving all the electoral votes to a candidate when they win the popular vote in a state.
5213  Economy / Gambling / Re: Hillary vs Trump betting: what are the best sites? on: November 12, 2016, 09:53:58 PM
The nationwide vote count doesn't matter, it's just a talking point for the media. The national popular vote has meant nothing for 168 years. Our Founding Fathers — with amazing forethought — created the electoral college for a reason. They wanted the president to be elected by a wide spread of states — not just the highly populated cities, a.k.a the elites. Without the electoral college, candidates would only campaign in Philadelphia, New York and LA.

Sure. But then the electoral college reduces the voting power of those in larger states, and increases the voting power of those in smaller states. That's not necessarily fair.

But then here's the issue with giving small states a starting value: candidates can't satisfy all those small states for a minimal payoff in electoral votes. They still campaign mostly in the more populous states. Sorry to disappoint. Ohio, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Florida, Virginia, etc. are visited.

Moreover, candidates would visit swing states more since states that are usually in their favor wouldn't matter as much (since 50.01% or 99.99% of the popular vote still gives you the same amount of electoral votes) - the problem with 51% attack.

And you think the presidential candidates would only campaign in the largest cities? Philadelphia, New York, and LA only add up to

New York City: 8,406,000 (2013)
Los Angeles: 3,884,000 (2013)
Philadelphia: 1,553,000 (2013)

= 13.843 million people.
The population of the USA at that point was 316.5 million. But, we need to take the population of eligible voters. Let's use the 2012 year.

235.248 million people.

Those cities make up 5.88% of the population. Do you seriously think that a presidential campaign would only worry about them?

Even if you campaign only in the top 50 cities (which is a LOT) that population still only adds up to 46,795,639. And if we consider the voting power to be ~2/3 of that population, you're left with 31.2 million which is about 12.5% of the total population that can vote. All the electoral college does is actually force candidates to visit swing states (so only a few states). The division is a sort of gerrymandering.
5214  Economy / Reputation / Re: MISTAKE: I got a negative trust for doing NOTHING! on: November 12, 2016, 09:04:34 PM
I got this quote from Meta.
Topic: Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ

18. Having multiple accounts and account sales are allowed, but account sales are discouraged.

I have not broken the rule on this forum by having multiple accounts. MPREP who is ALSO A STAFF has made this absolutely clear in Meta.

I did not buy the account since any mod can verify the password has never changed.

So why is Lauda picking this up?

Attacking someone for multiple accounts is AGAINST the official rules of this forum as stated by MPREP himself, please remove the negative trusts. I did not try to scam anyone.

Since when was negative feedback based on the rules of the forum? Just because Lauda put negative feedback on your profile doesn't mean that you directly broke a forum rule. Their negative had nothing to do with the forum rules, and if you in fact did break a rule, then you would be banned. These past statements only apply to your response about multiple accounts.

However, you have been spamming. That is both frowned upon and a bannable offence.

1. No zero or low value, pointless or uninteresting posts or threads. [1][e]

2. No off-topic posts.

These are the first two rules mprep stated. How come in your posts prior to this thread, you only used one line to reply to those threads, which were absolutely worthless?

Examples:

We will see how far it will go. I saw their advert on bitcointalk but I'm low on cash at the moment so I can't invest.

Altcoins are mainly useful for trading purposes, and they have been worthwhile thus far.

This is reply #21 and has little to do with even answering the original question.

Keep up the good work, I see you guys have gained general acceptance on this forum Grin

Was that a necessary post?

And please tell me how you're able to post 4 posts within 4 minutes and keep them constructive. (That's a rate of one per minute! You still have to find the post, then think about what to reply!)

Example 1: Archive
Example 2: Archive
5215  Other / Meta / Re: Idea for forum on: November 11, 2016, 12:39:51 AM
Well, if the forum needs money and isn't finish yet, why can't this be implemented? Extra money would be very welcome!  Grin
I think if it's easy to add those stuff on forum, it can worth.

And if someone doesn't like the idea like jacee on post above, just don't buy any stuff.
I don't think that turning Bitcointalk into Facebook would be the best way for it to earn more funds. I actually prefer having the same minimalistic theme, instead of adding tons of glitter to it. What are we, five?

Ad revenue should suffice.
5216  Economy / Gambling / Re: Hillary vs Trump betting: what are the best sites? on: November 10, 2016, 11:02:52 PM
So America is pretty messed up and there is actually a chance Hilary can still win.  December 19th the electorals will revote to confirm or have the ability to change their vote.  What happens if the president gets to be Hilary, what will betting sites do?
Nothing, since most people have probably already withdrawn their funds. Besides, I think most understand that the current standings are going to be what the market was based on.

Otherwise, the books would be at a huge loss. For one, they paid off people who bet on Trump. How could you possibly take those funds back, and then pay off the people who bet on Hillary?
5217  Economy / Gambling / Re: Hillary vs Trump betting: what are the best sites? on: November 10, 2016, 12:02:31 AM
Wow, Trump won! Thanks Fairlay for having deposit problems 2 days ago when I wanted to bet on Hillary. Looks like I got lucky that it happened. Huge surprise for me, as I saw some sites even saying that the chance of Hillary winning was over 95%.

Sorry to all those people that lost big because Trump won, and sorry to the Americans that want to come to Canada but can't.  Grin
Unfortunately, for me, I bet when the odds were ~4.5 for Trump (around an hour before they reached 5.1 on Fairlay).
I am happy that Fairlay's minimum bet was 5 mBTC - since I wanted to bet less than that, but simply decided to go with it. I didn't want to go for too much on the election, so small bets are just fine for me Smiley

Someone knew that the video has to contain only cropped area.
And someone took video at the right time.

Looks like a prepared insinuation.

We just leave this screen where you can see that user made bets of 1 BTC and correspond it with video.
Everybody makes his own conclusions, we just shared our opinion.
Sorry if it`s a bit delayed, but didn`t want to judge before having real facts in hands.

Sorry, what about the final -40 mBTC that was taken in the video? How come that's not on your data table?
Also, care to explain why there's bets of amount 0, with one of them in the "None" currency?

Yaaay! Trump wins! Cheesy

I think their might be some people who are happy about this for the wrong reasons... The odds was not really in his favour to take this. I

would have bet against him to take this election. I hope some of the people that bet against him, would also share their feelings with us. Wow,

this was very unexpected... He is sexist and racist, but the people still vote for him.  Roll Eyes
Well, because of that shaming, a hidden demographic of people didn't speak about their support. Then election day hit, and all the supporters went and voted. For Trump.

Alternatively, you could suppose that some Trump supporters were busy or wanted to hide the real polls and didn't vote on anything until the actual day - to hide the true numbers of the support. It's all up for grabs. I mean, think about what happened with Bernie Sanders - so many on the internet loved him, but then hardly any of the polls reflected that.
