Did you actually look at the history of the price before you ask this question? You have to look at the long-term before making statements like this you're asking questions like this. The fact is that there have been price drops before and this is just a minor little bump in the road and is already practically recovered from it. You have to look at the long-term and stop looking at these little tiny isolated windows.

Yes its risky.You should start with low. For example if you have 1000$ so you should invest 200 or 300$. If you invest your all money on bitcoin and the price fall down you'll lose your all money. Everyone aware about the fact of bitcoins that its volatile and change price every single second. My suggestion is to keep extra money in bitcoins and keep a close look at bitcoin market prices daily. |

We all know the advantages of BTC, but what are some of the disadvantages??
First of all the bitcoin have some high fee during transaction. If you're looking for fast transaction you have to pay high so most of people use slow to rid of highly fee you have to wait 2 or 3 hours to get your bitcoins. Second is the fact that most of people are not aware about this digital currency and bitcoins and hence if you want to transit in bitcoins both of the parties must have the bitcoins, which in most cases not found and one has to convert the bitcoin into fiat in order to proceed the transaction. |

Hackers are always active. If you are that afraid of them, then get off the internet altogether. Hackers are no more active today or tomorrow as they were last week or whatever. People abuse those that have no clue and that is all they are doing to do you. Ignore them and go back to your life, hackers have no reason to have a holiday this week. Just keep your own computer and wallets security measures up-to-date and hope you will never be get hacked.

I don't think that has any bearing out of more up here. It definitely doesn't have any better about overall price index overtime. China has done this before a little gay China always comes back. Even if they don't we don't need them for anything. They are what they are letting me and ignore them. And we will have more success in the long run.

Hi All,
Please help me understand in plain English how will we benefit from so many currencies?
I see so many startups with decentralized blockchain ideas with their own crypto currency.
Today I purchased oatmeal directly from a mill at their website.
This mill sells its products thru grocers and other online stores as well.
They probably gave 3% to the credit card company, which they could reduce by using blockchain.
But if every store and every business starts creating their own currency, then I will have to go thru an exchange to convert BTC or ETH to that coin to make some purchase.
Then we would need miners to process all those transactions in various coins.
Why can't they just use ETH? Just like all IPOs use dollars.

The risk is your money can be lost if you the price really go down, who knows. The price really skyrocketing, the price is unpredictable and totally insane now. But we really need to be positive, the money will grow if the investor come and invest on. There is no risk on holding but i think if you are planning to buy bitcoins, just wait for some more time and wait for bitcoin price to settle a bit.

There's no chance to replace fiat money with bitcoins. The reason is everyone use fiat money most of banks accept money instead bitcoins. And on the top we need money in order to buy bitcoins so how we can replace it with money. If money disappear how will you able to buy coins , unless we see a world where there is only digital currency and no physical currency and i dont see it can happen in near furture, not even in 10+ years.

I like it when there is a government that has gotten its hands dirty enough to understand the reality of BTC for them. While there is no way to actively stop the use and trading, there are some controls that can be put into place, like KYC and such. They know that it is better to allow the BTC use and then they can have a better idea of what is going on because it is so open and transparent.

i am so glad bitcoin is increasing day by day and every store and sites start accepting it. But there's a fact in bitcoin and everyone is aware about it .The facts it has no fix price. Good to see the price is 5000$ but we should always ready to face for upcoming events like China did in past. The ban of ICO in china decrease the price and upcoming hardfork increases its price. Bitcoin price movement is so much dependent upon news and it is not so good thing in the long term. |

No I don't believe crypto currency can disappear money. First of all most of bitcoin user use it for some illegal things like drugs, money laundering so it has a bad effect on some countries. Secondly and most importantly not everyone is aware about it. Those who know bitcoins, they use money to paying which is most safe and fast way to pay.

I have never seen any project on here that I would dive into. I have seen many that were worth Investments but as far as pouring everything that you have heart soul into a project I have never seen one on here that deserves that. So if you're looking for something good dive into Rhapsody to look at the stock market where there's a little bit more stability.

I believe they ban it because they are scared of what bitcoin can do to us people. They will lose control over us once we earn a lot. The government has lots of secrets, so it's no surprise to me if they ban bitcoin one day.
Scare is one reason but another one is misuse of currency. I think the reason behind the ban is misusing of bitcoins. There's some disadvantage of bitcoins. Most of people us it in porn sites, dealing with drug and money laundering. Also people trade with bitcoins which hard to trace for government to get them under the taxes. In order words, governments has lot of reason for which they may ban the bitcoins. |

What exchange showed every single coin dropping, because that was a pretty limited list. I checked the five big exchanges and at the time of your posting 79% of the coins were even or rising. I failed to find a single moment in the history of crypto when 100% of the coins out there were losing value. Maybe a new exchange for you, because the markets on our side are positive and good.

You do not need to worry , bitcoin cannot be ban due to its decentralized feature, so government cannot trace where did the transaction done and made unless the exchange make the move but it is hardly impossible. If you worry about china, so do not, Chinese still using bitcoin circulates bitcoin in their country, the only thing is they cannot buy bitcoin directly by their currency to fiat, that is what Chinese government ban but they can still use bitcoin freely

There has been no reason to point a computer at crypto other than trading for a year or more.
