5201  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-07-07] New ECB Boss Christine Lagarde Made A Serious Bitcoin Warning on: July 08, 2019, 11:25:06 AM
Another FUD talk coming from the central bankers.Bitcoin and altcoins aren't a threat to the global financial system, because they are too small,in terms of global adoption and trading volume. The central bankers are trying to export the problems of the fiat banking system outside of their field, blaming the crypto world for everything that is wrong with the global finances.
5202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Many Faces Of Satoshi Nakamoto on: July 08, 2019, 11:21:32 AM
If Satoshi Nakamoto was really a team,it would be really hard for every member of that team to hide the truth about it for 10 years.OP,you forgot to mention another conspiracy theory in your list "Is Satoshi Nakamoto and bitcoin/blockchain created by CIA/FBI?" Grin
Nothing will be discovered about Satoshi, because there are forces, who don't want anything to be discovered.
5203  Economy / Speculation / Re: Downward Trend on: July 08, 2019, 06:42:16 AM
Is current crypto downward trend only temporary?

Every crypto price downward trend is temporary. And every crypto price upward trend is temporary as well. This is the nature of markets.By the way,I wouldn't call it a "trend" because it's not long term enough.
Maybe we should call it a price spike, not a trend.
5204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Cup Of Nations 2019 - Discussion Thread on: July 08, 2019, 06:38:49 AM
Nigeria is my favorite to win the African cup,but this tournament can't be predicted and I'm ready for some surprises. It was weird that Egypt was eliminated. They are very dependent of their big star Mo Salah  and this made them easy to get neutralized by the opponent's defense.
5205  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin volatility here to stay? on: July 08, 2019, 06:24:50 AM
I am a strong believer in HODL. I expected bitcoin volatility decreases as time goes by, I totally didn't expect such big price change in the past several days.

Is bitcoin volatility here to stay and not decrease?

I believe that the bitcoin price volatility will last forever,as long as bitcoin has a limited supply. This is what creates that volatility.Coins like ethreum can't have such price volatility, because they don't have limited supply.Crypto adoption is still in it's very beginning, but it might lower the price volatility a little bit.
5206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Woman Travels to 7 Different Countries in 12-Week.Challenge using only Crypto on: July 08, 2019, 06:22:04 AM
I don't trust this so called "journey".She might be using the good old cash, while pretending to use bitcoin. Grin
Is there a way to verify that she's actually paying with bitcoin for all the goods and services that she gets?
Maybe sharing transaction IDs or posting some screenshots to her wallet. This still isn't trustworthy, but there must be a way to verify the purchases. Grin
5207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have a strategy in Mine games on: July 07, 2019, 05:28:51 PM
I was betting on mine games back in 2015,when bitcoin was only 300 USD. Grin
Damn,I kinda regret that.Should have saved all that coins I wasted on betting in mine games.
That feeling when you bet a big amount and you think won't hit a bomb, but you hit the bomb. It's awful. Grin
5208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: U.S President Donald Trump’s ‘Direct Order to Buy Bitcoin’ on: July 07, 2019, 05:08:53 PM
CASA’s Jameson Loop thinks that it will take Trump’s policies to make Bitcoin a global currency. On friday, Loop responded to a President Trump’s tweet stating to manipulate the value of the US dollar. The inevitability thesis of Bitcoin is......read more

Trumps changes his opinions every day.We can't consider his tweets a legit source of information about his plans. Most of the time he is just trolling the liberals and spreading misinformation and propaganda.
This looks like another clickbait article with no in depth information or analysis.
5209  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-06-23] The Federal Reserve Could Be Helping Bitcoin to $100K on: July 07, 2019, 05:02:56 PM
Lowering interest rates will put more disposable cash into people's pockets and that means more money to invest in high risk investments like Bitcoin, but most people are already living on the bread line, so they will just use that extra cash to survive or to make more debt.

I already see loads of people asking "How can I buy bitcoins with credit cards" and that is not a good thing to do, even if that credit is cheaper with interest rate cuts. Please DO NOT use credit to buy Bitcoin!  …… It is the worst decision you can make, because profit in Bitcoin is not guaranteed!!

The people living on the bread line usually have bad credit scores and they can't afford more debt.
Credit card debt is the most expensive type of debt and it's the easiest to get. That's why many people, who lack financial education use it and make bad decisions.
Anyway, the rumors about the Federal reserve lowering interest rates could be just fake news. It's pointless to discuss fake news.
5210  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Free Exchanges Fees? is this Possible. on: July 07, 2019, 11:58:06 AM
can we possibly have an Exchange with little or No fees for trading and transfers of token. is it possible of having such platform especially for we that depends on Airdrops to earn crypto. seriously No time for bounties or trading. but it seems that we have been left out because the little we have can not be transfered to exchanges.
Quite a pity.

Just put yourself in the place of a crypto exchange website owner.Would you offer your website/service to the traders for free and get 0 coins/money while having to pay for hosting, advertising and taxes?
Even if the crypto trading platform was 100% free from fees, the traders on the platform would start charging fees for their transactions. Sad
5211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Card Game launch by Credits developers on: July 07, 2019, 11:48:30 AM
The text on the FAQ page of goldengirls.me isn't centered. This looks unprofessional.
Also,I don't know what is a browser wallet extension.I wouldn't download and install such extension on my PC.
The design looks decent.I like the idea of combining gambling with adult animation.
5212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Economical mammoths versus PoW and PoS on: July 07, 2019, 11:28:48 AM
A trade happens only if the seller wants it to happen. The states can try to buy hashpower and coins, but the sellers/miners have the freedom to refuse to sell it.Yes,they could get monetary profit from such deal, but eventually they will lose their business, because of the government control over the hashpower and the majority of coins, which will make a government a monopoly.
5213  Economy / Speculation / Re: it easy for bitcoin hit 1 million dollar without lies/bullshit -- sharp logic on: July 07, 2019, 05:24:58 AM
OP,you aren't saying anything new in this post. The supply/demand logic of coins with limited global supply(like bitcoin) had been discussed here for years and you have reached the same conclusion like many people before you.Bitcoin price will never hit 1 million dollars and that's perfectly fine.We don't need a 1M price.
5214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbetting odds, which do you prefer? on: July 07, 2019, 05:20:44 AM
I would like to hear some of your comments based on your experience here.

Sports betting is one of the favorite games in gambling and I always wanted to experience a long term winning.

Therefore I'd like to get some of your opinion based on your experience, which is odds listed below gives you a better chance of winning?

a) over 2.00 or b) less than 2.00

I can't make a betting decision based on the odds only.Every game and every match is different.
If less than 2.00 was winning more often, every gambler would bet on less than 2.00 and the bookies will change the odds to benefit themselves. There's no easy way to win from sports betting.
5215  Economy / Economics / Re: How can I start a business that offers crypto services? on: July 07, 2019, 05:07:36 AM
What would the process look like?

If I registered a business name and then got some business loans to buy more coin. It would be a HODL business. Or a boutique crypto investment firm. I just want that loan to buy and hold onto a bunch of coin and watch it soar. There would eventually be a legit service to offer through the business but at first I just want a giant loan to buy a bunch of bitcoin.

Sound idea? Yes or no

No bank or business will give you a loan,if you say to them that you are going to buy cryptocurrencies.
This is considered extremely risky and most most banks aren't crypto friendly at all.
You will have to provide some big collateral with a stable price, like real estate. If you want a giant loan, you will need giant real estate properties. Smiley
5216  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Tether Supply a driver of Bitcoin Prices on: July 06, 2019, 12:34:50 PM
Been seeing so many different articles on this. Charts show a strong correlation in supply of tether with rise in BTC prices. Is Tether supply and trading a significant driver of Bitcoin prices in 2019 up from $3k level in Dec 2018? If so, how much really [estimates with precision]? And what happens to Bitcoin prices if there's a Tether crackdown or if some other really bad news about Tether hits the newswires?

I've heard this theory back in 2017 and it might be partially true, but I don't believe that Tether has that much influence over bitcoin. The tether supply goes up because all the cryptocurrency prices are going up as well.
More people are trading coins, thus more people are using tether.
5217  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Prevent been a crypto addict. on: July 06, 2019, 12:31:34 PM
honestly, it is getting serious that most people spend over 18 to 19 hours these days on systems and mobile phones watching the market, trading on the move with their mobile. the addiction is getting out of hand. i think i am probably getting into this kind of life.
what could be the possible means of prevention. i need to have my normal life back.

Every addiction is connected to the lack of self-control the person has over his decisions and actions.
The addiction is created in your subconscious mind, which is responsible for all the habits.
You have to take control over your mind and force yourself to change your habits.
The simple answer is-just sell all your coins and quit crypto trading. Smiley
5218  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-07-05]‘I Guess I’ll Have to Hodl It’ — Peter Schiff Admits to Having Bitco on: July 06, 2019, 12:17:28 PM
WTF?Sending donations to a guy,who is:
1.Bitcoin skeptic.
2.Rich.
What's the point? It would be great to donate some btc to the poor or for medical treatment of people that really need that money.
By the way, sending bitcoin donations means that this guy has a bitcoin wallet.Or somebody just have him the account credentials of a btc wallet with 1350 USD?
5219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Justin Bieber VS Steve-O - UFC Fight on: July 06, 2019, 12:13:14 PM
Who the hell is Steve-O?I've never heard about this guy.He looks like a creep/pothead on this photo. Grin
Justin Bieber is getting more and more crazy. He should stop going drugs and focus on his shitty music career.
I believe that Bieber will win,but that doesn't make me a "belieber",if you know what I mean. Grin
5220  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Category on: July 06, 2019, 11:56:24 AM
for now.. I know the Cryptocurrency is divided into 14 categories;
(Storage, Privacy coin, Social, Market Prediction, IOT, Lightning Network, Payment, Dapp, Stable Currency, DEX, Exchange Token, Dapp Platform, IFO, Games).
according to you whether the category of Cryptocurrency will increase because of the many new concepts that emerge.

Those are not cryptocurrency categories(or at least,I shouldn't call them "cryptocurrency categories",crypto innovations is better) .Those are terms related to crypto/blockchain and offchain/sidechain solutions.
Do you think that Dapps,Lighting Network and IFOs are cryptocurrencies?
Each one of these crypto innovations has a lot of free room for growth and development.
