5201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Finalizing Deal to Purchase CoinMarketCap! Can CMC Stay Neutral? on: April 02, 2020, 10:13:40 PM
The deal to acquire CoinMarketCap is reportedly worth $400 million. Can CMC stays neutral after it is transferred to CZ?

No, because it' own by a certain exchange now, but the fact that it's Binance who owned it, people would still love using CMC.
Both have good reputation, if one destroy its reputation, the other will be affected, so I think this is good for the crypto market and I just like the aggressiveness of Binance.

It would only have 2 outcomes wether people would stick out on visiting CMC or would completely stop.I dont see much of difference because if CZ would make up changes
then it would be noticeable by the public specially if its already owned by Binance.

If CMC would decide to sell it out then theres nothing we can do and as mentioned there were lots of alternatives when it comes to checking market prices not only Cmc but
cant really deny that majority do really rely nor do visit cmc.

Didnt expect that even cmc would be purchased by Cz. hmmm
5202  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Simple trading advise for newbe that should follow on: April 02, 2020, 08:06:02 PM
Another day another newbie trader advice we do have here.  Smiley

Everything should really be learnt but that wont happen overnight which means the more you trade the more experience you would gain.
Lets say you are fully aware that you shouldnt enter on the market randomly but when you are totally noob and the time you are on the middle
of the trade, pretty sure that you dont even know on what you gonna do.

Learn everything and mistakes are inevitable but these are stepping stones for you to be a better trader.

5204  Economy / Gambling / Re: CoinDragon.com - Provably the best crypto gambling in the world! on: April 02, 2020, 12:59:19 PM

Even if this were true, you have no right to keep his deposit.
But it's already written in the T&C at the moment (I don't know if this confiscation policy was made since it was added recently).
Thats the thing if its been altered before the incident happen.

Does it really count if those alts havent been used and just focus on the last account he had made? unless if theres abuse that had been spotted then
its understandable on such lockdown.
5205  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Covid19 test kits available UK domestic or international delivery on: April 01, 2020, 11:47:12 PM
I was just informed this is actually a HIV test kit.. Sorry for misleading post I am unfamiliar with these test kits and I guess I just got excited and posted before researching further.. I did think it was strange they had Covid19 testkits so quickly but so many countries are working on different things I didn't think it was out of the realms of possibilities that it was a real/legit test.

Lucky Particl marketplace uses a decentralized escrow to keep actors honest  Cool Again sorry for misleading post this was not intentional. Keep safe everyone out there.
If it was a HIV test kit then they shouldnt display out for it to be a Covid test kit to avoid on misleading people.Good thing that you had verified it out and as suggested above that you should changed up the topic title
to avoid confusion or being mislead.
5206  Economy / Speculation / Re: The bitcoin halving, whales manipulations and its 2020 price valuation on: April 01, 2020, 11:12:42 PM
Whales manipulation is about to end soon...I  miss how they play the market through hypes (they are gone already).

Halving event is coming but we we are also in troubled fighting for life and death as coronavirus hits us. Its gonna be a rough year for crypto again. I do hope that halving could help but we'll not expect much for it. I do believe that this gonna be over soon and the market starts to recover but of course, it won't be instant and it takes months.
Well, you should wait and you will see them after this pandemic. The market is a bit sideways you might be surprise if it would start to rise as you didn't expect it. But then again there's no reason for it to suddenly rise since the world is in crisis and people are having a hard time to get the money to move here and there due to the lockdown. Bitcoin halving is fast approaching I wonder what could be the price before and after the halving.

Im not expecting that much in talks of halving event but this is where everybody is focusing on and do still hope that this event would give out some light on this declining market.

I agree into your sentiment which this isnt the right time for investment but pretty sure that whales did already make their move on accumulating cheap coins when they are still on their lowest low.

We do see atleast some small increase but we know that this market can surprise us anytime.
5207  Economy / Gambling / Re: CoinDragon.com - Provably the best crypto gambling in the world! on: April 01, 2020, 10:36:31 PM

The user created many alts in order to abuse and exploit our services and attempt to fraud us.
We have ample proof of this but as I'm sure the community understands we will not post it in this thread.
If Canada_1969 would like to pursue this matter we'd be very happy to cooperate in the investigation if handled by an independent party such as askgamblers.

I will update the original message to be clearer that it is a matter of abuse and fraud.

What exploit you do talk that the said user had committed? You should at least elaborate into the public by means of transparency.

This is my first time on hearing on confiscating its users money since it do have multiple accounts which isnt really a strong reason for you to do such act.

You should at least consider to block those alt accounts and ask him on what would be the account would be he using. This action is quite shady imho.
5208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: April 01, 2020, 09:56:21 PM

From the replied above you, he mentioned that all the players of  Lakers are being cleared including those two players that came out positive
meaning to say that they've got another test and luckily they've got negative results. Looking forward for the best and HOPE everything will be fine and things will be back to normal and we will be able to see the continuations of this season, we all miss the league..

Is that really possible or is just a part of the April Fool's day.
From a positive to suddenly a negative test?
Are those test kits broken?  Grin
That smells fishy right?

This is just another way of keeping it.
Tested some of the players then letting the media see it while on the other hand the other will be saved by it including those 2 which are already positive before. Well, I just hope it is all true for their own health.
Have the same question in mind unless if they do make use of China test kits which have some report that it is just 40% accurate.  Grin

Unless if the quarantine period is over and they have been re-tested and give out already negative result then thats truly a good news.

Im hoping for this pandemic to end soon, as everyday seems like a torture if i cant watch NBA game. hehe
5209  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is Best Trading or Freelancing? on: April 01, 2020, 09:21:58 PM
You can do trading while freelancing as well so no need to to skip one for another. Smiley
Eh that is a bit tough for a normal person. Generally when freelancing the person needs to be putting in their very best to get the best work done. Thinking of what to buy or sell at that time going to ruin their work.
I guess time allocation is the key and it should be applied for most of the freelancing jobs, if there are some exceptions then users have to accepts the negative sides as well since there is no job assurance on freelancing at someday there is no demand your skill so having job security is important if you don't have enough investments or savings.
Both things do have its cons but if we do really try to differentiate then its clear that which one would really be worth to engage on in terms of long term aspect.

Trading would be a good choice but as said this will have that risk on losing money while dealing with the market on daily basis or doesnt have an assurance on making money but somehow
when you do have this skill you can decide anytime to make money on market movements which is totally different when we do talk about freelancing since
we do have an employer to rely on and works arent really that permanent on long term.

I wont say any words on which one is best because both things do have its own purpose depending on what situation you are in.

5211  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Covid19.insure - your opinions? on: March 31, 2020, 10:59:21 PM
I'm going to report them, using a pandemic to get some money is disgraceful behavior in addition to the misinformation that this website provides.
Unfortunately, any use of Covid19 or requesting money through it is an indication of scam unless the other party provides documents that prove the sincerity of the donation campaign that it intends to make, so whoever wants to donate is better to donate directly to the health authorities in his country.

The role of smart contracts in financial transactions to prove the arrival of funds between the two parties, but it is difficult to use them if someone is confirmed to have contracted the disease or was exposed to death.

Not a new thing and we have seen lots of similar schemes on where these scammers trying to take advantage on any situation or things that we are facing. Basing into those points above given

where it does set out a minimum amount to be given or to be donated then thats already a concrete sign that this one is just trying out to scam people.People arent that dumb enough

on easily to believe about donation thingy and i agree that it would be more worth if we do just donate directly than going to these BS things.

5213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Role of the crypto in the incoming global crisis on: March 31, 2020, 09:35:50 PM
What do you expect will be the role of bitcoin and altcoin in the upcoming global economic crisis?
i mean i read on several sites that the only way to face the next economic crisis will be to freeze and withdraw some amount of private equities.
In your opinion will this lead to a massive adoption of crypto? given the fact that they are unseizable and in the end bitcoin was born right to face the crisis of the global market of the 2008?
If so what is the best altcoin to buy and hold for the next five years?

Bitcoin is not ready for wide adoption, so role will not be huge. But this economic crisis is very important for Bitcoins future. People will always point out to it when explaining why Bitcoin is needed.

You're right! Lots of talks about this situation but come to think that BTC isnt really ready yet for such situation. We know on what we are currently facing on in talks of economic state but doesnt mean
that it will guarantee to correlate automatically into crypto's future. Lets hope for the possibility but we shouldnt expect much.
5214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can crypto gambling be provably fair to regulators? on: March 31, 2020, 08:54:08 PM
Provably fair is provably fair, there is no reason to check anything else, even if casino itself creates a user themselves and gamble they do not hold any advantage that is not in the gamblers itself, they are risking as much as other gamblers. The only thing they can actually get out of creating some gamblers themselves (so faking the user number) would be marketing, if you have hundreds of people playing on your website at all times others will think you are cool and will join as well and you will have organic 100+ instead. That is literally the only thing I can think of right now.

There could also be competitions of wagering where they fake numbers and just lose to themselves to get the win and not pay to others. However, there is no stealing investors money by gambling, you lose equally at all times even if you are the house making a new gambler.

+1 to this!

Once your gambling site had been approved then it does signify that it already complied with the rules this is a no-joke business if we do talk on expense or on how big it is.
Its just too dumb for you to mind on doing shady acts to make money on that particular time and of course you will surely think about long term aspects.
I agree that increasing or faking out numbers is one of market strategy that been commonly used and im not surprised with that one.
5215  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy entry on Erosistance or Supply zone (Trading system error) on: March 31, 2020, 08:19:12 PM

In Resistance or Supply Zones, that is, the market is doing the sell entry and we do poorly there the buy entry ... ha ha ha. Who will be the loss if we not?

Not all the times on where TA's would be accurate even it do hit up resistance levels because here on crypto space, most of the time these kind of circumstances are able to have breakouts
and doesnt tend to bounceback once it do hit the floor or the ceiling but somehow these kind of strategies is commonly used from time to time even if we do know on how unpredictable the
crypto market is.

Image above shows that if your a certain type of TA trader, you wont really make any entries to that particular moment specially if that hit up resistances also when i do saw
a Doji after a run then thats a good sign.

5217  Economy / Speculation / Re: COVID-19 - The major reason for the current fall of Bitcoin on: March 28, 2020, 10:17:49 AM
Economy is down.
There is no work. Even if you want to, the company and the government won't let you.
But you will need to survive for that span of time.
So what do you do when given a chance to go out once a week.
You cash out some of your savings and that includes bitcoin.
You buy products that could make you survive for the week and then do it again the next week.

No money is coming in to buy back that bitcoin you sold so what is next? You sell again.
That could be one reason but that is not everything. Some holders are still sticking to the long term plan.
This is really whats happening as of this moment where people do get prioritize into things that would able for them to survive even pulling out their investments that they have kept for so long.

We have seen that not only crypto but also stocks forex and other markets are on reds now which is understandable or no brainer for you to consider on whats happening and whats being prioritize by the people right now which is to survive. This isnt the right time for people to mind business or making money but there are still people who do take advantage into this situation.

Talking about the major reason? This might be one of the reason but we cant conclude that this is the only thing yet we know that there are lots of factors that do affect
markets globally.
5218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are you doing now? on: March 28, 2020, 09:07:14 AM
Esports mate.

Play some dice, slots and any other games. But when I'm done with those, I'm checking the games for esports, Dota 2.

Same here!

Im enjoying currently on CS:GO and Dota events https://sportsbet.io/sports

Yeah its really very very boring on having no typical sports event like Basketball/NBA due to pandemic problem but well
theres nothing we can do but to wait until all these things becomes fine.
Same with me, there are many online tournaments happening right now and the prize will be donated to the charity for COVID19. Recently I watched the match with TNC predator and ADROIT, and I was shocked that ana of OG stand in the fight since GABBI don't have a good internet connection. There are many online tournaments happening right now that we can bet on, even in FPS games like Apex and COD.

Well, still bored af, don't know what to do.
Im even surprised that ana did join TNC on that particular Charity play.Ana picking slark, spec,pl is really hard to stop but they lost the game because they didnt able to make it on long game in Bo3.

For Apex i have tried to play that game but im not really much into seeing tournaments for this one but for COD i do make bet.

Getting bored? We are just the same but at least we do still have something to bet on rather have nothing at all. Grin
5219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk has been blocked in Russia because of Gambling advertisement on: March 27, 2020, 11:46:48 PM
The block is most certainly political and the gambling part was just a reason to throw to the public. If there would have been no gambling, they would have found another reason.
And as said, the block can be easily avoided. Just because politics and computer science are not BFF.
This is basically the truth, bitcointalk is the most important forum when it comes to cryptocurrencies so this is not about a casino or anything like that, they are trying to control the information and in this times of great uncertainty people are choosing to keep their money and this is scaring all the politicians, in my country there are already pleads from them for people to keep spending their money and if this does not happens then the economy will crumble, and if that happens then the people will begin to look for alternatives and bitcoin will be there for those people, as such Russia is taking preventive steps to avoid this from happening.

What would you expect? Government would always be like that on where making actions to those things that against their liking and its not a new thing specially in talks of cryptocurrency.
Pretty sure that they arent only looking for gambling aspect but for further deeper reason.

They can ban all they want but accessing a site specially this forum wont really be hard.As mentioned earlier you can either change DNS or thru VPN so its still useless imho and also
im quite surprised that they do still dug up an old thread.
5220  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Do exchanges need mobile apps? on: March 27, 2020, 10:52:41 PM
I recently learned from an article that various instant exchanges have mobile applications that essentially provide the same functions as the web versions. I can understand when massive platforms like Amazon create their applications. The web version in the smartphone looks rather bulky and inconvenient to use. But here, all that the user is interested in is one page with exchange pairs and an exchange button. I was wondering, why do platforms with such simple functionality create mobile applications that duplicate the functionality of the site, if everything is implemented quite simply on the web? Surely, I am missing something, so I want to put everything in its place.

Real talk when talking about the difference when im accessing a platform via website direct or application? Im too hassled when everytime i do need to Zoom in and Zoom out.

When you are in app which is more lite than on web version. Some platforms though had already utilize surfing optimization but i do still prefer on using an app specially when you are in transit.
