This is weird , don't know if it's a joke or not.

5224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [For sale due to lack of development time] Automatic Altcoin Generator on: January 08, 2014, 09:26:51 PM
someone should make a coin generator that will create coins for free and make tons of money with Ads. Theoretically it's simple enough to create but i just don't have the time.

here you go i just gave out a million dollar idea (it's bound to happen anyway  Tongue)

If you ever have the time:

I'm not looking for the money , but for the chaos
5225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Project - Coingen.io Clone bot - Let's stop the madness and unleash Armageddon on: January 08, 2014, 09:24:28 PM
I can't code so I'm no help, but I would love to see this. I vomited a little when I saw coingen

Thanks for the thumbs up.
I've have no solid background to start this from scratch but I would die happy is somebody would be able to do it.

There is no "just talk" when it comes to making a bet. If you confirm that you really mean it - you mean it.

Matthew Wright got a scammer tag for something similar.

With that said, I wouldn't take any bet as a real thing until escrow was achieved. A person should stick to their word though.

He quoted T.Stuart's post indicating that he accepted the "gentleman's agreement" to send the 1BTC without escrow at the cutoff.

At the very least, he should get a scammer tag, as Matthew did.  Otherwise where's the consistency?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178336.msg4376376#msg4376376

Though as far as I can tell he's had an extra 24 hours over his originally stated cutoff anyway, so he's quite late paying up Wink

I was one of the people who bet against him , I asked him specifically if he is still taking bets at that moment.
But again , I didn't believe for more than 1 second I would get 1BTC and that was when I was falling asleep.

But since I was sure from the start he didn't have the resources to take the best , I'll  personally let him go if he helps with my project:

Is doesn't seem like a smart move to take an unsecured bet with someone that you don't believe will pay. If you lost you would have to pay or be labeled a scammer. He has everything to win and nothing to lose. The most you can hope to do is not lose.

I took the bet for fun.

Sure jump on board. Come on ride the train the Bitcoin short train

Quote for confirmation.
I told myself to quit betting. But this looks just like the safest bet ever.
Of course , that's how betting on Sprinter Sacre looked at Kempton and damn that horse made me lose 300$.

I lost 300$ because this horse pulled up. The odds we're 1/6 when I made the bet , I didn't even once think seriously about the profits (50$) ?

Just to make the race more interesting ,and with the 50$ to reach a round number for withdraw,  but unfortunately it turned both ugly and messy and boring. also , iI've bet on him for the last 10 races with the same odds , just because i really like how he runs , not for the 1/8 1/10 odds he has won till now.

Besides , If BTC would have reached 750 , I would have lost far more than 750$.

Hum, three letters. Just like every major airport in the world.

Edit: Wait, 0.05 BTC a throw? Not likely.

NOOO. This is the current price on coingen.
I want this to be free.
5229  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 08, 2014, 08:26:48 PM
3 hours left for Gox to hit 750<. If some divine intervention will prevent it, i will be expecting my 1 btc from CoinBull.

Let's make a bet on whether or not CoinBull pays out.  Cheesy

I'm going with "no."
I'll make that bet too  Grin

i will bet you all yes with high amounts of BTC, then pay him to pay out the other bet:)

I'll write down , never make bets against  [Default Trust] is Tyrannically Centralized! , hmm..... (goat)

Probably most of you are familiar with http://coingen.io/.

You choose a crappy name , one logo , 0.05 btc and you get a clone coin.
But how about we make this easier and free and accessible for anyone , and also end the madness once for all.

How about we create a coingenbot that creates and publishes altcoins based on a list. We'll feed him some wikipedia list of  old coins, fictional planets , countries  ,  or the imdb or iafd actors /pornstars database.

So , there will be no need for fans to wait for JennaJamesoncoin , YodaCoin , thehobbitdesolationofsmaugcoin  more than a few days.
This would be one hell of a battle royal....

Takers?

Edit.
Coins will be generated free of charge , there will be no need to pay any fee.!

How about you seriously give him an answer or point where he's wrong?

http://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/huobi/btccny

Something going on with Huobi's volume, or lack thereof. In other news, which I'm sure is unrelated, BTCe experienced a huge uptick in volume. Discussion here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=404961
This happens when shit happens in China and the Chinese pump manipulation enchantment is broken - price falls until it approaches support levels on real exchanges indicated by an increasing volume on the break exxhanges .

Their volume pump broke ,  they manually fake the trades. =)))

I was thinking of having some archive pages created every week from the main page values at something like 00.00 AM/Monday.
So people can compare easily how a multitude of coins have evolved and how they switched places.

About the pie charts , something like :
https://blockchain.info/pools
with 1 day / 7 days /14 days

Of course , this would be a messy chart with bitcoin having 95% but we could compare maybe the top 10 - BTC?
Don't know really.

each time I read IPO, I want to kill a kitten..

Each time I see an Ipo , I want to kill one of the guys that invested in visacoin.
And unlike you , this would help the human race Smiley  , without hurting the kittens. Real kittens not the scamcoins.
5238  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 08, 2014, 12:11:18 PM

read it last night, linked it here as well. Tera felt it was repetition of stuff already mentioned. Others explained to me how the negative commission for market makers worked seems all around interesting. I mean it is not impossible he's just putting on a front. All the while knowing its closing down...but I doubt it will and huobi is the volume holder so it really depends on how they get cracked down upon if a crack down appears.

Now  really , do you believe the volume houbi shows?
I doubt they trade more than 10 coins per day there.
