5221  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is kraken.com a scam? on: November 29, 2013, 12:46:50 PM
It's been fine for me so far. I like the website and functionality so hope it sticks around.
5222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This guy must be going mad, he lost 4 Million Pounds worth of Bitcoins on: November 29, 2013, 10:29:43 AM
The guy supposedly works in IT and he:

1. Failed to keep any HDD backup;
2. Threw out the old HDD without checking it first;
3. Failed to destroy the HDD before throwing it out.

So if the story is to be believed he is some IT guy.

5226  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 1.49 stolen on: November 28, 2013, 11:57:11 PM
Be smart with your shit. You had a keylogger and rat clearly on your shit. That is your fault. You can put all the security you want on anything but the best security is your brain.

But I don't mean to be hard on you, I went through something very very similar. Lost 3 bitcoins within the first month of me buying them many months ago due to my wallet.dat file being straight up stolen.

How was your wallet stolen? It would help us noobies if you expanded answers so others can learn from others mistakes. No?  Huh
5227  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: will the bitcoin reach $1000 one day...? on: November 28, 2013, 11:50:04 PM

5229  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I am going crazy, or is there some serious pumping going on? on: November 28, 2013, 10:42:48 PM

5230  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Kraken SEPA Withdrawls Failing on: November 28, 2013, 08:02:03 PM
Kraken recently came out of beta so perhaps it's a bug. I think you can report them here... https://www.kraken.com/security/bug-bounty
5231  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: bitcoin is the best thing since autohotkey on: November 28, 2013, 05:48:58 PM
I dont know what hotkey is and although I agree that Bitcoins may well be the best thing since sliced bread but lets not start sucking each other off just yet.
5232  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: More confused than ever... on: November 28, 2013, 03:58:22 PM
Kraken seems decent but everyone has their own preferences.
5233  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: It's Over on: November 28, 2013, 03:52:04 PM
We are all on a journey and who knows where it will take us so you shouldn't feel bad Sir. Even if this bitcoin experiment simply helps to loosen the grip the parasitic banksters have over us then every cent spent and lost is worth it.
5234  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I am going crazy, or is there some serious pumping going on? on: November 28, 2013, 03:36:21 PM
I'm in a long term hold position. It's too volatile to speculate. For me anyway.
5235  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: hello from a noobie on: November 28, 2013, 02:42:35 PM
Good day to you Sir.

Also as newbies do we ever get rid of the 360 second posting restriction? I feel like it interrupts the uphill learning curve of Bitcoins when one has so many questions to ask and are excited to ask them.
5236  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: not a newbie but hello all! on: November 28, 2013, 02:36:28 PM
Hello there. As newbies are we only allowed access to this forum and if so when can we start posting elsewhere.

Good luck with your investments.
5237  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Interest Rate on: November 28, 2013, 02:10:49 PM
So a currency can both inflate and deflate at the same time?
5238  Other / Beginners & Help / A Wall Of Money Is About To Hit BTC/LTC/NMC on: November 28, 2013, 02:02:01 PM
How likely is the above scenario for each of the BTC, LTC, & NMC currencies? And why?

Thank you.
5239  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Interest Rate on: November 28, 2013, 01:07:40 PM
So I am confused, are these things inflating or deflating? I'm guessing inflating erodes their value so we must be deflating? And what happens when we reach 21000000 Bitcoins on the market?
5240  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I Give Up!!! on: November 28, 2013, 04:11:03 AM
Kraken. I was up and running with funds in a couple of days.
