5221  Other / Meta / Re: so if the topic related to the silk road, will be deleted? on: February 12, 2017, 09:45:46 AM
Your topic might have been deleted because your English is quite difficult to read and understand. The silk road is known as an illegal black market, so it is probably not in the best interests of this forum to be sharing information about it and attracting law enforcement. Type it into google if you want an answer on how to get there.
5222  Other / Meta / Re: Hal's Password was changed recently on: February 12, 2017, 09:43:36 AM
This account last posted in 2013 and it does seem very strange that it is becoming active again now. It might be the original owner, but who knows - their is no such thing as a "legal heir" to a bitcointalk account so that is a weird reference to make. Somebody should probably tag the account until the identity is proven, because there is so much account password cracking going around.
5223  Economy / Goods / Re: Nikon D800 Digital SLR Camera on: February 12, 2017, 09:38:32 AM
Yes, you might be better off moving this thread into the normal marketplace section. Where are you sending this item from and how much do you think delivery would cost to Europe?
5224  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 0.05 btc bounty min for Burmese speaker to transcribe. on: February 12, 2017, 09:31:16 AM
If you speak Burmese, the bounty is to write down the Burmese words spoken on the video at
https://www.liveleak.com/view?i=448_1416957293
or
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cNT7WMXVoZI
same video, part 1 of 5.

The bounty is to write down the exact Burmese words spoken, not to translate them. Even if you don't speak English well, type the conversation from the video on a Burmese character keypad, paste the entire conversation from the first video onto this thread in Burmese characters along with your btc address.

Once I have verified to the best of my ability that the transcription is >95% accurate to my satisfaction I'll pay the bounty.

This bounty is for the first video only and I will probably post a lower bounty for the next 4 videos.

Transcription should have time marks at least every 5 minutes and the names of the speakers.

e.g.
...
5 minutes
Translators says: jhguygfyukgjuhy
Met says JHGhyujggj,hhj
Translator says JGliulguiluh

Again, I am looking for the exact Burmese words that were spoken, not an English translation of them. I will bounty the translation later.

You should probably look for these services in the Market Place section of the forum, you're unlikely to find anyone in this section who can do it for you. It'd probably be best to get some sort of professional service outside of bitcointalk
5225  Other / Politics & Society / Re: FAKE NEWSPAPER FROM A POOR COUNTRY Confuses Alec Baldwin and Donald Trump on: February 12, 2017, 09:29:23 AM
It is a stupid mistake for any reporter to make, that said, Alex Baldwin probably plays Trump better than the president himself. I would prefer having Alex Baldwin for president because his comedy is priceless Smiley
5226  Economy / Economics / Re: EU ramps up war on cash on: February 11, 2017, 12:37:57 PM
It has positives and negatives really. It seems stupid in the modern age to still be using paper money when it is more efficient to do it electronically. Ultimately it would help to crack down on illicit money and make tracking criminals better. On the other side, if the power supply went down it would cause absolute anarchy and you could argue it would be much easier to repress people who didn't want to live in the system.
5227  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Need your suggestion, may start a BTC lending service on: February 11, 2017, 12:28:14 PM
Yes, there are always people requesting money and very few of them have proper money management skills (or they wouldn't be asking). Unless you can put up with chasing people for money and accepting losses, you should probably steer clear. I doubt even the best money lenders are making much because it is too easy to vanish online and never repay your debts.
5228  Other / Politics & Society / Re: War btw USA and Iran! on: February 11, 2017, 12:23:51 PM
I find it amusing that something like this would even be a topic. A small nation in the ass crack of the world is going to be able to stand up against the  most dominate force the Earth has ever seen?

For those who think it will be bad for the US then I think you need to go check out their military capabilities for overseas. It doesn't take much thought to figure out that Iran has no chance of even striking the US mainland militarily whereas the US has the capability to attack any part of their country without even being in it.

America would crush Iran, but Iran could do a lot of damage back. The US military is built for superior capabilities but Iran practises asymmetric warfare. Your navy brings a destroyer? Good luck when it gets swarmed by a hundred speedboats packed with explosives. Do not underestimate your enemy, but then.. I guess no Americans here would actually be putting their lives on the line in the military.
5229  Other / Politics & Society / Re: EU is the 4th Reich on: February 11, 2017, 12:05:32 PM
This might be a little too much for your fragile mind to handle, but the Nazi's lost world war 2. Conspiracy nuts get so boring after a while.
5230  Other / Politics & Society / Re: War btw USA and Iran! on: February 11, 2017, 12:03:15 PM
There will be a lot of big words, but it is neither in America or Irans interest to go to war. Iran is relatively stable considering a lot of the countries in that region and could do more damage than Iraq or Afghanistan. Donald is a bit crazy though, so I wouldn't put anything past him. Saudi Arabia doesn't like Iran, but it knows it is better to tolerate them than headbutt them.
5231  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Reddit account with 100k karma on: February 11, 2017, 11:59:47 AM
I am just wondering why i should pay 200$ for reddit account?

People who buy these accounts usually do it to advertise products, get around posting limits or gain some sort of vanity feeling out of owning an old account. $200 does seem a lot for a social media account but it might make a decent return for somebody
5232  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Is COINURL.COM SCAM OR LEGIT? on: February 11, 2017, 11:48:52 AM
I've been using coinurl for over a year, they are generally good but in the last couple months have taken a very long time to pay out. I think the owner is getting a little lazy and probably just relaxing from all the easy money involved in advertising. Their last payment has taken over a month to clear for me and they used to do it 2-3 times weekly.
5233  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Bitcoin Doubler script for 0,15 BTC !!! on: February 11, 2017, 11:43:24 AM
Give me a vouch copy and i'll give an honest review if this is true or not

I'll tell you right now, it is not true and this person is a scammer. "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is" springs to mind. Why would this person sell a bitcoin doubling script and not get rich off it themselves? Hence, it is a scam.
5234  Other / Meta / Re: Digital Goods -> Invites & Accounts on: February 11, 2017, 11:36:52 AM
Not sure if my opinion counts as being a sr.member but do we really need a separate sub section as I don't see it is a very active section.
I think what hilariousandco suggested is a good idea that we should put some Rank restrictions on posting a sell thread.

Just because you never visit the Digital Goods section, doesn't mean that it isn't active.
5235  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTB] Mass gmail account creator/generator on: February 11, 2017, 11:24:11 AM
Maybe try blackhatforums. You probably can't afford such a script though because google will make it exceptionally difficult to automate attacks like this against their systems. You're literally trying to fuck with one of the biggest technology companies out there, good luck with that.
5236  Other / Meta / Re: Digital Goods -> Invites & Accounts on: February 11, 2017, 11:16:32 AM
Sounds like a good idea. As others have said, separate codes/giftcards into a new section and you should probably have a big sticky thread at the top warning people against it. Giftcard scams seem to make up a big chunk of the scam reports, even if it is for trivial amounts - it causes some people a lot of pain to lose that money.

I don't know what scope you're looking at but trading paypal accounts should be banned entirely - it's not like Netflix and sets people up to lose vast amounts of money or get caught up in a wider fraud.
5237  Economy / Collectibles / Re: 1 BTC Casascius Bitcoin- Loaded with one BTC on: February 09, 2017, 07:18:38 PM
Better photos added.  The hosting site re-sized and I didn't check.

I'll take postal money order, BTC, face-to-face.  I'll even give you my ID. I'm a legitimate seller.

You would be wise not to share your photo ID with strangers on the internet, but it can work if you're meeting someone face-to-face. Equally a buyer should not accept it as proof of identity, just in case it was stolen
5238  Economy / Services / Re: Who will pay my 0.88 on name cheap ? i will run his ads for 30 days 250x250 on 2 on: February 07, 2017, 05:43:45 PM
You should share where you are willing to show the adverts. If your faucets have no visitors it's a bit pointless for the buyer. Also, can you fund namecheap with bitcoin? If so, would you accept someone sending you the bitcoin directly and you fund your own account?
5239  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: User COMBAYN is a SCAMMER DO NOT buy from him any Gift Cards!!! on: February 06, 2017, 10:44:13 AM
Sorry to hear you got scammed, but just a little research before would have saved you from getting ripped off.

1) Do NOT buy any giftcards online unless you are purchasing them directly from the official shop, too many fraudsters are using other peoples credit cards to buy them and resell them. It doesn't take long for the cards to become worthless, or even if you do redeem them - the fraud will be traced to you.

2) Self moderated threads are a big warning sign and are regularly used by scammers to censor their threads due to situations like this. Some people will scam you for even the most trivial amounts.
5240  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Gift Card Scams (jackshephard, rottenfruits, sir.morninglight) on: February 04, 2017, 01:56:41 PM
Unless you know the person and have conducted business face-to-face, you should avoid buying any gift cards from these forums. It should be banned entirely really. 99% of the time they will be a scam and it's very unlikely you will get lucky with the 1% that is not a scam.
