5221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: October 03, 2022, 09:22:02 AM
~snip~

I hope they bounce back immediately though. Great game from Manchester City and Pep Guardiola. But I honestly hope they don't win the Premier League once again. It sucks totally!  Sad

I also hope that Manchester United players don't get affected very deeply this much easily. As far as I can see, their next game is an away one against Everton. This is another tough game for them honestly. Because Everton are doing better on the recent weeks. They haven't lost a game for six weeks and they are on a two-game winning streak as well. As the game is in Goodison Park it is like an extra difficulty for the Red Devils.

If Erik ten Hag make the right choices for this game they can still win of course. They are stronger on paper in the end. One game shouldn't change everything at once.
I would have complained much, and probably be sceptical of the next match if Man U did not make any goal, but they did, it's football, and they should know how to perform better. They contested with a better club where Haaland has been performing unexpectedly well, and 6-3, does not mean much to me than the 3 points it counts to the Man City. It is Man U that needs to buckle up and fight better as Everton cannot be as brilliant as Man City, so I don't think there is anything to demoralize Man U as I'm concerned.
5222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying BTC vs Mining it on: October 03, 2022, 06:44:15 AM
I think mining will be considered profitable if it can generate a income enough for ofsetting the cost of electricity of mining.. which now a days seem very difficult for bitcoin.so yes buying at current lows seems sensible. But yes keep hodling it long enough for making gains.
What matters are the time, energy and prospect/plan of the person? Some might want to mine for the money, but mining is not like before, which discourages many people. Miners of many years ago earned more in BTC, but it is not really worth the time and the energy it consumes these days.

Having said that, in my case, I prefer buying Bitcoin to mining. Yet, I will not just buy it, I will buy it at the right time after carefully speculating its bullishness. If one could sell when it is bearish and always buy when it is bullish, many profits would be earned more than the miners.
5223  Other / Archival / Re: Why has bitcoin adoption failed in El Salvador? on: October 03, 2022, 06:38:08 AM
I wouldn't conclude that the Bitcoin adoption in El Salvador is a failure, it's still at its initial/experimental stage. I couldn't imagine what the president of El Salvador was thinking when he adopted Bitcoin (a very risky asset) as a legal tender in the country. This is because Bitcoin is still at its early stage, more time in the tune of decades is still needed to effectively study its behaviour and reliability.

Let me assume that the country has offered itself as an experiment for others to learn what is possible with Bitcoin, yet they might laugh in the end. The issue at hand is the lack of responsivity of the asset for now, but it might be a boom for the country when it stabilizes above $50,000 in a matter of years.

Nevertheless, their citizens should be smart in handling the coin due to a lack of reliability that will never be dissociated from it.
5224  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does everyone want bitcoin to be stable in price? on: October 03, 2022, 06:24:36 AM
Some debates/arguments about Bitcoin baffle me at times, they shouldn't have been initiated in the first place if the debaters truly know the mechanism behind the structure/operation of Bitcoin. Bitcoin can never be stable, it already has its technology and foundations as such, and it is an asset that could be held and traded in the interbank market. How could such be stable? Many decisions are dragging the price of Bitcoin, it will always fluctuate due to that, while the side with the highest liquidity takes the trophy just like any other floating market where demand and supply decide the price.
5225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: October 03, 2022, 06:15:37 AM
European and South American national teams have been dominating world football for quite some time now, but I expect that African teams will soon reach their level.
African footballers are already big football stars in the world's best clubs, like Salah or Mane, but their national teams are not yet tactically at the level of the world's best national teams.
At the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, Ghana came very close to becoming the first African team to reach the semi-finals of the World Cup, but unfortunately lost the game to Uruguay on penalties after missing a penalty in the last minute of the games.
After that, no African national team came close to reaching the semi-finals, but maybe it could happen at this world championship in Qatar.
Without being sentimental, Africans would not do anything spectacular in this world cup, they don't often have a complete team. You mentioned Salah and Mane, but don't forget that they don't play for the same team nad they can't consistutute the whole team, which si where the issue lies. Africans were better contenders before, not know, they need a lot to develop their team. Like I used to be fcatilay, I don'yt see them in the semi-final.

I always prefer luck over effort. Because sometimes a good team loses after playing well enough. Anyway, this year's World Cup is expected to be very grand. All teams will try their best. I am expecting good things from Argentina this time. I think luck will help this time. But I wish all the teams the best.
Luck is good in footfall and all the facets of life, but no one or team can rey on it. They need their professionalism that will always make them shine and prove that they know what they are actually doing.
5226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: October 02, 2022, 12:35:31 PM
There is no doubt that Brazil is a country producing quality young players, there are many young players in their squad at the moment. But this is a World Cup where the quality of the players is not enough, they have to be mentally prepared for everything that will happen there. I hope this is not a problem for them, and the senior players on the team can provide motivation that can make the juniors more mentally and confident.

About the mentality to be prepared, I'd like to say something
If can pick any squad, Brazil, Argentina, Ecuador, Australia, Ghana etc, from South America to Asia, Africa included, all teams have players with experience playing in Europe.
Of course not all of them are playing in tier A teams like Real Madrid / Manchester City / Juventus etc, but they are in Europe playing among the best, and playing against the best, so the experience is not a problem anymore, in my opinion.

Some years ago it was incredible to see the playing differences against every kind of soccer techniques, like South Americans vs Europeans, or Europeans vs Africans, but today the difference is very hard to see, because players are playing the same championships, coaches are training the teams equally, and there's a lot of foreigners coaching and even playing for another countries.
You forgot South Korea and Japan there but I understand your points. Those countries might not have a lot of players in the A-tier league but they are still very good national teams to meet up with the World Cup level. The level difference is a small margin. I think thanks to the global nature of soccer has become, now the coach's teachings and training regiments can be received from country to country. Before it the EU and Latin America had the best chance to win a World Cup as it was completely their game. Now, this chance can also be seen in other zones, abit small but still there.
It is true that South Korea and Japan are good teams, with my preference being Japan's team but they are going nowhere in this world cup. You can mark my word for it and I can even bet my last money on this. What I envisaged in this world cup is tougher than the two countries and one might crash at the group stage, while the other at the quarter-final.

The only teams that might show some degree of surprise are the ones from the southern part of America, not the Asia extracts.

Wasn't South Korea fourth in the world at the 2002 World Cup?
I remember that at the last World Cup, Japan pretty much tortured one of the favorites, Belgium, in the knockout phase of the competition.
I think that both teams have a chance, but personally I give better chances for a good result to teams from Africa.
I personally have the feeling that at least one African national team could surprise this time and achieve a very good result, especially since they will be playing in climatic conditions that suit them.
I admit that you are right, Japan tried in the 2018 world cup, but did they reach the semi? No, 3-2 against Belgium, which doesn't prove a point beyond that. While the point about South Korea is almost the same thing, they did not get to the semi and Brazil eventually lifted the trophy. We are talking about those that have the chance to lift the trophy, which was what I replied to in my last post.

All the teams would try their best, but luck and professionalism would be seen in some better than others. And those favoured in that aspect are Germany, Spain and South American teams. Also, I don't think African teams would reach final.
5227  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I need help on Option Trading on: October 02, 2022, 12:24:07 PM
Just like traditional trading, futures trading has been a very good innovation in the crypto space, yet I still feel incomplete without trading Bitcoin with Option. I was happy to see the Option trading feature with Binance, which is my only exchange, but they offer a different kind of Option trading from the traditional one I know. Their style of offering is designed to make one lose as your winning is not guaranteed even if the difference between the striking price and the price at expiration is in your favour.

Take, for example, I bought the (Call) option on BTC at 18634.35 on Friday for an expiration of 1 hour. Could you believe that the price of the market was at 18855.87 at the expiry time, but Binance still concluded that I lost the bet? This is not a mistake because such a situation has happened to me more than 5 times with the same exchange.

I don't know how Binance calculates their options trading and I don't care again. Is there any exchange you can suggest to me that gives winning like the traditional Option trading where the slightest point counts?

First of all, may I know if you have any ideas on doing futures trading? because if you tell me that you don't have any or only a few ideas, I can say that you are doing it wrong because actually most of the members here on the forum advise you not to try futures trading because it is still a bit confusing to use compared to spot trading

I have seen many newbies jump right into futures trading without having enough ideas, so the result is that they lose or just waste their capital used here.
With my explanations above, you should have known that I know how to trade futures very well, only that I wanted more through Option trading. It's obvious that no one could trade Option without the knowledge of how to trade futures because you need to speculate and know how to earn from the market through it. However, the only difference between the future and Option trading is just the expiration of the tenure of the betting and the fixed amount to earn which must have been foreknown.
5228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Happy 62nd independence to all Nigeria Bitcoiners on: October 02, 2022, 06:28:34 AM
Sorry if I may sound a little mean, but Independence from what exactly?

Colonial masters? What a joke  Cheesy
The Colonial masters can't even do the easiest thing of returning the looted historical artifacts that are locked up and kept hosted in different European Museums.

Financial freedom? Last I remember, the so-called independent government, didn't want Nigerians trading Bitcoin.

Worse still, the pseudo-independence these former colonies think they have got is just a continuation of shitty governance by very corrupt, selfish dictators. How do I know this? Lots of news and articles online about this.
I will not crucify the OP for celebrating the Bitcoiners in his country on independence day though it's kind of off to me too, yet the way we think varies, hence the respect for each other's views. As there might be nothing to celebrate in Nigeria as regards independence as you are concerned, many, including the Bitcoiners here might still think otherwise.

Nigeria might not be getting everything right, but still, one of the countries you can enjoy the lowest cost of living in the world. This might not be if they are still under the colonial masters.

5230  Economy / Economics / Re: Rebuttal: Rich Mindset vs Poor Mindset on: October 01, 2022, 10:42:55 AM
As we all know the power of money is something that cannot be underestimated, so it is impossible to give the poor the very same opportunities that someone that is rich has.
The high disparity between the rich and poor class when it comes to privileges of the rich made me vote for the poor to be better than the rich. The truth is that when given the two of them the same hash tasks, the poor will highly likely survive, while the rich might collapse/fail since they are not used to the harsh condition.

Yet, the poor would survive the good environment just like the rich. Tell me who wins? The poor of course.

I grew up in a family that wasn't rich, and when something broke, it set us back for months, my parents are still like that unfortunately. A pipe bursts? You do not calculate it and you barely have enough to survive anyway, so you pay it but then you postpone something else, your tooth needs dentist? You pay that but then postpone something else.

For a family that had one salary from my father, and 3 people to live on it, we barely survived, thankfully it was good and we lived a good life, I have never classified myself poor or my family "poor", but we weren't rich, I can say that. That is why I can easily say  that all those "lessons" that rich people give would be from rich people perspective. Give a wealthy person 1 year to live on a salary of a delivery guy and they would go mad and would be in big debt too.
Your story is touching! Can you imagine? So if they now give someone like you the privilege of the rich, would you misuse it judging from where you are coming from? The poor have been taught in a tough way, so they are better.

It couldn't be more true. Not all rich people are right and not all poor people are wrong or vice versa.
I believe some of you are not getting what the subject is all about. It is not about individuals now but the generality of what could be inferred between the poor and rich. Social media is awash with the fact that the rich are better, but I refuted it since they are not better but only privileged to be rich. So, it is not about one being better than the other in a place and the other in another place. It is all about one thing, can the rich survive what the poor are surviving? And the poor survive what the rich are surviving? You should know the answer by now.
5231  Economy / Speculation / Re: October price guess on: October 01, 2022, 09:09:15 AM
Nothing much is to be expected in October as the battle between the bulls and bears continues towards the end of the year. Though the bearish trend is still favoured by me in October as the overall trend of the market judging by what the monthly and weekly charts dictate. Yet, the hesitation of the market in September makes me suggest that Bitcoin is not ready to go lower as it might have reached the year-low already, or is very close to the level.

This means that even if Bitcoin would fall further in October, such would be limited to around $17000-17500, which will not have much significance as that fall might be greeted with more fierce bullish movements.
5232  Economy / Gambling / Re: The History Of Gambling. on: September 30, 2022, 06:49:42 AM
I believe it was before that time
the history of gambling goes back to the creation of the world
nothing changes people started playing on the computer the trick remain the same
I like to read from people who reason like me. No one could know the actual starting date of gambling, it must have started even when the first gamblers did not know what they were doing or what it was being called then. There is a lot that is being assumed in this modern day but the true history has been lost. While some popular established facts are being refuted by researchers/scientists after many decades and centuries of misconceptions. This means that much of the historical documentation, in which gambling is among might not be the actual truth.
5233  Economy / Economics / Re: Will crypto jobs make government jobs irrelevant in the near future? on: September 30, 2022, 06:36:31 AM
Nothing will ever take a government job away, it will be there as long as there is a country, and there must be a fully functional government. World governments are even afraid to go more digital because of hackers due to the sensitivity of many documents and plans, they prefer physical employees in many cases.

Aside from that, there were many jobs before Crypto, even the government wants something that will create more jobs so that the economy will improve and citizens eased. If there is anything that Crypto would take a job, it will be within the private sector where competitions are high and it's being given to the highest bidder.

Mind you, the world is large and Crypto space is just a tiny aspect of the activities going around it, therefore, no one would feel a labour shortage because of it. Conclusively, the most needed employee in Crypto is the tech guys, which are few.

You have been furnished with the right place to make a proper report, so I don't have to do that again and I guess that will cool your nerves a little bit.

Still, what I could infer is that the OP is somehow that is at a quest of vendetta or trying to ruin a close someone due to one reason or another. To the extent that the person's Twitter, Discord and Wallet addresses are all revealed in this expose.

I hope the admin and moderators in their wisdom would attend to this case wisely and insightfully.
5235  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I need help on Option Trading on: September 30, 2022, 06:05:02 AM
It seems my BTT people don't trade Option as I thought. I expected more suggestions and options for me to look into than what I see from the responses received so far. Option trading is good and interesting in Forex, Crude oil and other traditional markets, which was why I wanted to try it in Bitcoin which is easier to speculate for that purpose.

Maybe it was because someone moved the question from the Beginner & Help section to this place, which is so hurting as a pressing question like this could not get a quick answer from a less viewed section like this.
Not soo much people would really love to deal up with Options considering about the risk level then i would definitely be just stick with spots.Honestly i do have an experience on having those option trading on

tradersway and iqoption when it comes to forex and indices which you could really able to differentiate out in between crypto in regards with volatility.Once you do able to experience out

when it comes to volatility then for sure you could really say that it would really be more riskier if you do try it with crypto.
Yes, its rewarding but we know that technical analysis doesnt always bite out precisely.
The risk with Option trading is not the reason why BTT members are not conversant with it, I am only beginning to guess that there are no exchanges offering the Option trading in a traditional way. And as for the risk, people here are used to risk, they are not afraid of it either. They game and gamble, what is risker than that?

My question only falls short of many responses because of this section of the forum, I don't know who transferred it from the initial place I posted it. Finally, Bitcoin traders might not know how and where to do Option trading in a professional way.
5236  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cryptocurrency is silent why? on: September 29, 2022, 06:37:35 AM
I believe the unexpected is about to unfold in the crypto space, their main trend is still bearish. But anything could begin to happen as buyers are piling up for Bitcoin from around $18500 down to $17625 (June low), which might be instrumental to the reversal of cryptocurrencies. What is responsible for the recent sluggishness and indecisiveness in crypto is the oversold condition in the longer-term view. They are tired and want to buy amidst the general bearish trend. This is causing conflicts of interest but might remains with a few adjustments until the much-expected halving causes a major bullish run in 2024.
5237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: September 29, 2022, 06:29:37 AM
any poll about world cup finals that doesn't include Brazil is a joke.
soccer is one of the things Brazil plays top level

still too early to tell anything about the finals, it would be just a guess at this point.
It's still too early to say about the final, all the teams that have made it to the Qatar world cup they are definitely a great team, we can guess and hope for our proud team to enter the final, but for now the competition is still running and the domestic league still have a very tight schedule, anything can happen to players while the competition is still running, players can get injured, so for now I can't predict which team will go to the final, I will place a bet for the world cup after the league competition domestic ended, because I don't want to risk gambling later, I will place a bet after I see the line up of all the teams playing in the Qatar world cup.
What he and others have been expressing is right, we cannot just throw them into the trash can. I have been following nations' matches too, it should truly give a clue to what to expect in the already-near world cup. No one should understate the complete team of a nation that is in good form at this moment. If not for injuries, the similar play seen now is what we should expect in the world cup. I didn't expect much from Brazil before, but they are now one of the top three countries on my list.
5238  Economy / Speculation / Re: MY DAILY BITCOIN SPECULATIONS AND VIEWS on: September 29, 2022, 06:15:26 AM
Bitcoin was deceptive yesterday, it bought back due to the weakness of the USDX and closed positive for the day with a bullish pin bar on the 1D chart. At this point, I'm neutral on the market, it could go either side today as it moves from peak to bottom and from the bottom to peak in the last two days. More surprises could be seen, yet it is good to know that more barriers are at the upper ends at 19930.46 and 20386.48 (Wednesday high). The market might be unattractive to buyers below this level, which might force it down to at least 18142.00. While a break above them will confirm a bullish trend that might hit the current 1D trendline resistance at 21003.75.

Nonetheless, the MACD and Stochastic oscillator remains bearish in signals.

5239  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: It Is Dangerous To Completely Rely On Cryptocurrencies on: September 28, 2022, 01:17:35 PM
If you don't plan, you regret it! This is non-negotiable, and I always tell this to the core fan of Bitcoin. It is not about loving Bitcoin and the benefits attached to it or not, it is about being wise. Anything could happen at any time, but are you prepared for the eventualities? Many would talk about crypto as if there should not be a fiat again, I always smile, because they don't know what they are saying. The best is for the two to exist and we as the players should only make sure we take their advantage as we could.

Without wasting time, it wouldn't be unwise for anyone to invest all their money in Bitcoin and the like. They are assets that fluctuate, and they could disappoint them at the time they need them most.
5240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🤯 Trust Dice | sorry but we reduced your winnings by 90% but it’s okay 👌 on: September 28, 2022, 08:38:36 AM
I can sense the frustration of the OP, it is unfair to have a trust on a company and get betrayed. Should I give you a candid advice? Make sure you get your reviews of the gambling sites you want to deal with from physical people, not online. However, BTT is a good place to get such an unbiased reviews too, this will help you against such scam sites.

Some systems are designed to make you fail, this is a deliberate action, so be aware. This is why you will hardly find a regulated casino sites these days, they are doing as they please, while many of them are known scammers or legit scammers. Thanks for letting us know anyway!
