Alternatif lain yang mungkin:Misal orang-orang yang mau melakukan KYC tidak perlu megumpulkan data ID mereka (Foto, keterangan, dll), mereka hanya perlu mengirim kode ID mereka + live video. Kode ID tersebut nantinya akan dicek oleh pihak exchanger, perusahaan, atau sebuah platform ke intansi pemerintah yang memegang databse orang (user) tersebut. Ketika pihak pemerintah menyatakan data tersebut valid, maka KYC nya sukses. Jadi data ID tidak dipegang oleh pihak exchanger, perusahaan, atau suatu platform, namun dipegang oleh instansi pemerintah secara terpusat. * Maaf ini hanya pandangan saya sebagai amatiran. Harap maklum jika ide tersebut jauh dari ekspektasi.Ngomong-ngomong sepertinya tetap tidak ada cara lain yang lebih efisien selain KYC. Cara lain pun pasti akan ada celahnya juga untuk dihack atau bocor ke tangan orang-orang yang tidak bertanggung jawab. Yang namanya data disimpan secara online, celah dibobol pasti ada. Solusi terbaiknya mungkin:1. Lebih selektif dan tidak sembarangan melakukan KYC (dapat dilakukan oleh pemilik data). 2. Memperketat kemanan pada data-data yang disimpan (dapat dilakukan oleh pihak exchanger, intansi pemerintah). 3. Mempertegas hukuman pada pelaku pencurian data & meningkatkan kerjasama interpol (dapat dilakukan oleh pihak berwenang). Saya juga baru tahu kalau KYC itu berbahaya, karena tahun belakangan sering lihat di sosmed para pelaku kejahatan menjual data diri seperti KTP, SIM bahkan passport.
Harusnya sudah tau sejak lama gan. Ini sebenarnya masalah klasik yang belum ada solusinya hingga saat ini. Satu-satu nya cara adalah hindari melakukan KYC pada platform, proyek, atau exchange yang meragukan/tidak terpercaya. Walaupun yang terpercaya juga bisa saja bobol data client nya. Namun yang tidak terpercaya jelas resikonya jauh lebih besar. Kalau saya taunya bukan dari sosmed, tapi dari diskusi teman-teman member bitcointalk, (diskusi di board Altcoin). Sudah dari dulu sekali topik tentang bahaya KYC jadi trending topik di situ. Bahkan ada yang sudah share tentang beberapa contoh kasus data KYC yang ditawarkan oleh oknum tertentu di black market. ketika saya menjadi seorang yang sangat paranoid, berpikir suatu waktu exchange bangkrut, seluruh asetnya habis yang tersisa hanya data diri customer, lalu mereka jual semua data diri tersebut untuk ongkos tiket kabur keluar negeri.
Tidak perlu mikir sampai ke situ gan. Kalau agan ingat dulu banyak sekali proyek ICO baru bertema exchange, tapi saat ini proyek-proyek tersebut hilang ditelan bumi. Bisa saja proyek-proyek tersebut memang menargetkan uang investor dan data KYC yang masuk. Paling tidak ada 3 sumber data yang mungkin dijual dari proyek exchange abal-abal tersebut: investor, member yang bergabung pada exchange tersebut (jika sudah sampai tahap launching), dan bounty hunter yang disuruh ngumpul KYC untuk claim reward. Nah, saya juga ragu kalau data saya termasuk salah satu di antaranya.

Untuk diketahui bahwa saya sudah dapat izin dari OP (Rizzrack) untuk membuat versi Indonesia dan mengsharenya di board SFI. TUJUANBerbagi informasi terkait Instalasi Epochtalk yang mungkin berguna untuk member SFI. ISI1. Fitur - Epochtalk adalah sebuah halaman aplikasi web yang dibuat dengan AngularJS. - Design responsif web/mobile menggunakan Bourbon. - Kode digabungkan dan dimuat sesuai dengan kebutuhan, untuk kinerja, menggunakan Webpack. - Didesain dengan performa yang hebat. Backend Epochtalk memanfaatkan Postgres sebagai database. - Tema dapat disesuaikan (brand, warna, huruf, ukuran). - Sistem modular permission berfungsi sepenuhnya

The world doesn't make it like a currency, but indeed it is created for a digital currency from the beginning (electronic cash for online payments). I don't think it will be fully replacing fiat because Bitcoin still has a weakness that can't cover people's needs around the world. But surely it will support and complete the current world's financial system with its advantages. if there is a Bitcoin ATM card, and you want to use it to pay bills such as an hotel booking
Why do we need Bitcoin ATM card? If there is a more effective way than using ATM card, people surely don't really need ATM card. Personally, I prefer to send Bitcoin from my wallet than using a service from a third party. Remember that Satoshi created Bitcoin in order to avoid the third party. No third party service will make faster, easier, cheaper, and more efficient transactions. *In my view, using services of the third party just make a longer process in the transaction.

I think you don't need it. Merits will come to your posts themselves because you always created quality and useful posts. Got 1717 merits with the activity still 854, it is more than enough to describe your post quality and your contribution to the forum. Having less Merit than Activity once you’ve been posting regularly & registered for 6 months or more hints towards being a little bit of a shit poster.

I think that rule isn't really been followed.
The rule is more likely as a suggestion or the reference for the gamblers and gambling sites. Whether they will obey or break it, depends on their understanding and awareness. I don't see that the government will take them to the prisons when they break it. So, it is surely possible to break by some bad men. But I hope you don't! most of the gambling sites aren't really performing a strict KYC to determine the age of the players.
True. They may not really care about who plays their gambling games. They must be happy to have new players, it will take advantage to them. The KYC process looks like a formality only on some gambling sites. To be honest, I'm not surprised in it yet the gambling owners should focus on the profits (money), not to the quality (capability) of the players. |

Dari segi fungsinya, Bitcoin Core juga memang pilihan yang bagus, suhu. List di atas hanya sebagai opsi pilihan atau beberapa referensi saja, suhu. Selebihnya, pilihan mana yang lebih baik disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan masing-masing. Dan jika ada yang belum terdaftar pada list, bisa diberi tahu ke OP aslinya. Masalah notifikasi transaksi juga bisa dilakukan lewat situs https://cryptocurrencyalerting.com/. Memang agak OOT tapi karena ada bagian situs lain yang isinya juga bukan block explorer aja, ane rasa bisa dimasukkin (karena kalau buat thread hanya untuk satu situs begini ane rasa mubazir). Siap suhu. Saya coba cek dan pelajari dulu. Bisa ditambahkan dibagian "situs lainnnya yang berbeda" di thread atas ya maksudnya? Oke. |

It's useless because it doesn't stop "money laundering and terrorism financing". Criminals won't have any difficulties to pass KYC (they can use faked or stolen documents or hacked / stolen already verified accounts).
Indeed. Criminals have many ways to manipulate the data. They can edit photos, names, or using people's identities that they got in various ways. It is difficult to trust data through KYC, even the requirements have been quite strict and details. Maybe some ways that can be used to minimize the manipulation or fake data are : - Validation with live video - Cooperate with governmental authorities to verify the data it's just dangerous for normal users who are forced to do KYC because their accounts will be attacked.
I ever heard that KYC data can be traded on the black market. It is clearly worrying because the data can be used for criminal purposes if it sold to criminals or hackers. It is the worst thing that very possible to happen since there is no guarantee for the security of our data. I agree if we must be careful with the bounties which have one or some of the signs above. We have already had various scam projects and experienced many worthless bounties. It is a warning to be more selective and ignore all bounties indicated scam or potentially to fail. We are better to not join because participating means we also support/promote scam or potentially failed projects.

Indeed. Bitcoin isn't something eternal, it is pretty possible to disappear. We know that if all governments in the world are united to dismiss Bitcoin, then its existence is threatened. However, if they have the intention to do it, I think they have shown it since early. But it seems they didn't really serious, at least one of the factors is about the economic power competition between countries. As long as there is competition or economic warfare, I guess they won't be united as they have own purposes. Regarding the digital currencies to create by the governments, I doubt it will be implemented fully around the world. Not all countries have the capacity to provide it, many countries still have technological and infrastructure limitations. Moreover, there are still many people who have lack knowledge and live without knowing the digital world. In this case, digital currencies are not worth to implement and paper money (Fiat) still becomes the best option. So, I'm not sure many countries to consider having digital currencies soon. Do you think that we're close for Bitcoin's End Game to happen? Will it ever happen?
Not really sure to answer this question. But yes It can happen. However, it shouldn't be in the near future since no big reasons to see it. Well, I think we are better to optimistic in the future of Bitcoin. It is always growing well day after day. And we also see more adoption in Bitcoin currently. At least, it will survive as a digital asset. |
