5241  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: about whales entering and leaving exchange on: May 19, 2020, 11:15:32 PM
I hope we are aware of this and whales could actually manipulate our minds the same thing as they could able to manipulate the market.
100BTC? Thought that whales are making out from crypto. maybe we are wrong but it might probably just a transfer to another exchanger. For this, I say that it never gives a huge market effect in the market but rather to see a normal case scenario. Yet, it happens multiple times since before.
5242  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin exceed 20k this year like in 2017? on: May 19, 2020, 10:56:19 PM
Too much expectation can lead to disappointments despite that altcoins dont have the better chance to surge in price than bitcoin because most crypto investors trusted mainly in Bitcoin and those that missed the previous bitcoin halving growth in price wont dare to choose altcoin now.

Be optimistic about that because we never know if Bitcoin can surge to a higher price in a short time or not. But in the long term, I believe that bitcoin will pass the highest price in 2017, and I am sure that the price will reach that again. But it still a mystery to us to know when it will happen because no one will know when the time comes. We can only prepare by saving more bitcoin so we can sell at the right time.
Absolutely, we have to think positive but we also think the capability of the market as well.
Yeah, a lot of mystery in here and even not know that this marker will gain such popularity and market value. From scratch to a valuable asset, from $0 to $20k in 10 years? But due to the fact that we never know what will happen next, 2017 alike trend could be possible but I'm in doubt to see it this year. But not possible next year if halving will showing positive results.
5243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about investing in Eos on: May 19, 2020, 10:34:12 PM
To be honest, EOS is not on my list. I'd never see the strong potential for this coin that is why I rather escape it even EOS is on the top listed coin in the market. Maybe I was focusing on Bitcoin and ETH but something to say that EOS never has that much and it can hardly making money out from it.

But anyway, this is just my opinion and I don't want to drag people not to invest EOS if they saw such potentiality in the future.
We can also see https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/eos/.
5244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The list of bounty projects that end in a scam on: May 19, 2020, 10:21:26 PM
There are so many projects here on Bitcointalk that turned scam and abandon projects. I guess 90 percent of the bounties here on Bitcointalk is not really good and have no future at all.
This sentiment tells something that many people are trying to take advantage of the market and find its way as the best strategy to accumulate money by way of scamming. But unfortunately, people are learning already with this kind of trick and that is why we can see a lot of unsuccessful projects exist in the market today.

It surely there is a lot more coming and a long list to see in the coming days. In fact, I'd never see some of those OP's list until it has been listed.
I could say that, the increasing numbers of exposing scam projects will give a huge factor to crypto and that it cleaned up and let the legit ones stay.
5245  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Small assets, trade or invest? Good decision? on: May 19, 2020, 09:29:38 PM
Small assets?

With that particular limitation, I'd rather put my money in an investment. Trading is such a high risk that I don't have any assurance to have a good return knowing that our funds are not big enough to roll the market. I was considering/presume that the market will soon surge high and that investing today is a good idea and less risk. But if I have an enough money to start, I have to take them both.
5246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which trading platforms do you use? on: May 19, 2020, 09:13:40 PM
Binance is already on the top tier at this time and no wonder why people are supposed to choose this trading platform. Binance is not really that old exchanger unlike Bittrex and many others but they are trying to improve their reputation and build a strong foundation in order to get trust from the community which is a very important showcase that a certain exchanger must have to work. And in terms of security and safety of our funds, we can't get a hundred percent of it but actually they are giving the utmost way to keep it secured.
5247  Economy / Speculation / Re: What inspired you to buy BTC? on: May 19, 2020, 12:11:29 PM
What really inspires into bitcoin is the wide range of possibilities it brings. Imagine some great amount of it for a pizza? And then years after boom! There it is with a great value. It inspires me when you can see something actually works. Not just works but beyond expectation. From nothing to the pioneer of cryptocurrency? That's just really inspiring for me.
In general, we are greatly expecting (huge) returns.

At first, only a few have noticed the potentiality of bitcoin (that was 10 years ago) but when the market started to grow every year and having wide-spread adoption it attracts attention globally. And it was then giving a nice and big surprise when it once reaches to its ATH last 2017. No wonder how people having regrets seeing Bitcoin before but it is only just ignored. I don't think people will still be doing like this for they have some hints that it rises up high again in the future.
5248  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips for good trading on: May 19, 2020, 11:39:21 AM
Depending on the trade broker, the above discussions are really great Here are some tips to help you get started We will all benefit and seem more helpful to newcomers. Success is easy if you follow these steps and invest in Bitcoin. Adequate capital is required to trade and invest with a focus on currency fluctuations Analyze the market well and choose the correctness of the currencies.
Besides, capital will also affect our trade. The more we have, the more we can play with the trend. That is why I'd never encouraged people to trade to its minimum but rather to have some more. We can't be profitable with that $100, truly.

And one last thing we need to acquire and a must to practice is how to maintain calmness of mind. I know there are lots of factors that could help to become successful in trading and that was important to know how to manage ourselves in times of difficulties and crises. I have tested this.
5249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: For me Bitcoin never changed! on: May 18, 2020, 09:55:12 PM
I also agree with you. It is not a new thing that the price of Bitcoin will increase and decrease again. It is nothing but foolish to think that any other currency can take the place of Bitcoin if the price of Bitcoin decreases. So I think Bitcoin has never changed!
That is we called volatility, all crypto have that kind of market features and it never changes the looks of Bitcoin. But this is not the only thing to say that Bitcoin had never changed but OP is pointing out how the hardfork affects the marker position for Bitcoin. Eventually, there is nothing and that hardfork even tells that Bitcoin remains to be the king among crypto. And that also tells that Bitcoin is a unique coin created, nothing could ever be compared to.
5250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safest trading strategy on: May 18, 2020, 09:31:37 PM
This is a very good strategy especially for those who are not greedy as mostly spent all fiat money in the crypto market and buy BTC or any other cryptocurrency but the strategy you have mentioned here is amazing as you will never loose your actual money.
Due to a tricky market, even you are an expert trader, and even you are applying all the best strategy you have but still you can't avoid losing, only you can prevent it. Losing is a part of being a trader and all of us have suffered it coz in the first place, we are not totally perfect.
What OP is that mentioning about being not greedy and agree with that but not a way to say that we can escape from losing.
5251  Economy / Speculation / Re: Some Interesting pump in BTC on: May 18, 2020, 03:03:11 AM
After the halving the price of BTC has increased now from the past few hours is this a bull effect???
Nah, Its not Bull effect but it is halving effect. And yet, it wasn't considered enough to say that we are on the bullish already.
Lately, we saw some pumps but have to warn the community to prepared for a market correction. Things will go in and out as usual.

This crypto market is always been a twist, to be it seems like the price might reach $12k in couple of weeks. Guys share your thoughts.
It is more than that, it surprising. You can't tell its direction until you have experienced it. That is why everything went into just speculations coz we really don't know. And we don't need to push ourselves to believe that Bullrun will come quickly after halving because it is not like that.
5252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The list of bounty projects that end in a scam on: May 18, 2020, 02:37:14 AM
Instead look at the successful projects and how they operate everything to have an idea about good project.
Supposedly it is. And OP could just have a shortlist of those projects.
Having this list is no sense at all, they are all shit, and for sure investors will not slip into them. Hundreds of bounty passed by and even we saw a few of them succeed during their ICO/IEO but it is wondering why they don't even stay known to the market, in fact, their price still almost nothing the same thing as what it happens to many scam projects.
5253  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need advice on becoming a successful trader on: May 17, 2020, 11:36:09 PM
I will assume you have gotten so many tips from the forum, so there won't be any repetition.

As I believe so seeing OP's reply to @thecodebear...

Thank you so much for a detailed response. I've pretty much stopped leverage trading now since last 2 days. By professional trader, I just meant independent full-time trader.
And I believe he realizes and corrected his mistakes. People have this kind of appreciation will certainly be going far from his position today. He keeps asking, he keeps learning, and that is a thing it needs to build in order to achieve our goal.
5254  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't trade what you can't risk loosing on: May 17, 2020, 10:50:39 PM
Old say in cryptocurrency but most people still risk loosing all.
1. I will say dont put fund that is not yours in the space, dont borrow to invest in cryptocurrency,
2. dont invest at the expense of the family,
3. dont put all your fund in one or 2 projects (spread it)
4. Risk your fund in reliable projects
5. Learn enough about security of the space and taking profit
It is all on the list and I hope newcomers will take some time to review these things before deciding to risk their money. It is a must to know also what would probably be the consequences we get in here knowing that the risk is high compared to the other form of investment and that is why we should be prepared for anything it cost. We can't neglect this thing to happen in real life and that we think of easy money and fast ROI, it should have to change.
5255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best stablecoin right now? on: May 17, 2020, 10:24:39 PM
If you are looking for stable coins there is no other than great and it is only USDT.  But I have to ask a question first, why you want stable coin/s?
Because for the fact that stable coin/s won't make you profitable than those volatile coins just like  Bitcoin, Ethereum, and the rest. If you are looking at this thing (profit), of course, I will invest these coins rather than to stick my money into no moving value coins.

Having this stable coin is only having the assurance that we can't lose our money and less risk but not good for investment, unless if you are just preserving your money in crypto.
5256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this what's preventing wide-spread adoption? on: May 16, 2020, 11:28:34 PM
Anonymity makes it more vulnerable to illegality and it gives worries for the government authorities to resolve problems especially when it involves crime. But that is not the reason why they are not encouraging people to adopt the system, it is also because of its volatility feature where people get at high-risk investment. They have some claims and that security level is somewhat a big problem in crypto.
5257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: For me Bitcoin never changed! on: May 16, 2020, 11:03:09 PM
Of course, people will never consider these coins as a thing to compete with Bitcoin. They are still no way to go beyond Bitcoin and even there are so many hard forks coming, it won't affect Bitcoin's demand and market supply. Instead, these coins are still relying on Bitcoin and they are just like altcoins who are following Bitcoin where it goes. But also wondering why these altcoins have an impressive market volume also and we can't deny that they are still performing good.
5258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Let's keep eye on NEO on: May 15, 2020, 10:41:16 AM

Prices started to grow in late October 2019 for NEOBTC .
A peak was hit in February 2020.
After the peak, a strong correction took place.

Nothing has changed, we saw correction oftentimes. NEO isn't different from other altcoins, it is also like in riding a roller coaster, it goes up and definitely it goes back down again. Should we think that it hits for another ATH? Honestly, the chances aren't clear and until Bitcoin isn't in the bullish, we have not thought it to go higher also. For now, NEO is now playing at $10, a little bit low from last week. This is still in the correction phase and I think it will keep on that range until there is no Bitcoin price surge.
5259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lockdown and eCommerce and increase in online payments = Bitcoin addoption on: May 15, 2020, 10:14:03 AM
I supposed to think that due to lockdown and enhancement community quarantine will help to push people into crypto adoption but, unlikely it was going to see but still adoption isn't that massive. The situation we have isn't giving the only option for crypto alone but to know that some banks are offering credit and debit cards, they'll make a way to consider it more than for Bitcoin.
5260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The market does not respect anyone on: May 14, 2020, 11:43:34 PM
Nobody could take control of the market, I mean, it is only the price but not the whole thing. Whales make that changes but it doesn't mean that they are fully in control with it. But I was also thinking that because if the said market manipulation it brought something different and the market never it looks fully decentralized one.  The situation is gradually to change, maybe if this said activity will continue, I doubt if we still think about decentralization but taking into account being centralized one which whales will be taking control of it. But I hope it won't happen, unless if we are following what whales say.
