5241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How often do you gamble? on: January 27, 2020, 09:24:33 PM
I don't gamble everyday and I can say that I'm still good being on that side. But, if I'm about to gamble everyday, I can manage myself and I can stop whenever I want. However, I don't want to confident that if that practice continues to happen everyday I might soon get addicted without noticing it.
Every addiction starts from telling ourselves being confident that we can control ourselves but it turns out that many can't once they're already attached into it.
5242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Crypto Vs Corona Virus on: January 27, 2020, 01:07:14 PM
I think there are people now that are worrying about this incident because when the US and Iraq quarrel comes in, the market reacted accordingly and it became positive. But I believe that there's no correlation about the virus and crypto market. The entire economy of China, sure there is an implication but for bitcoin and crypto itself, I'm not convinced that there's any.
5243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: January 27, 2020, 11:04:36 AM
Yeah, Gianna was included to this accident and that's really sad. And you can also take a look to the last tweet made by Mamba and it's all about Lebron. I guess this will be hard for him.  Undecided

I know there are a lot of posts here for him. But I really do want to share my grief also for this shocking news today. I couldn't believe this is happening.  Cry The first sad news that I read this day. His legacy lives on...
It's the number 1 trending news all over the world. If you have seen the match this day. Trae Young and other players paid tribute to Black Mamba by wearing a #8 jersey. It's a whole day of grieving.  Undecided
I've also read the statements of the other superstars and living legends including Shaq and Michael Jordan. It's not just about being a good player but they have expressed also their praise on how good Kobe as a father.
5244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: January 26, 2020, 10:05:58 PM
This makes it more hard to take from watching Lebron taking about him after the game. How he inspired him to become what he has become to this day.
https://thespun.com/more/top-stories/lebron-james-shoes-message-kobe-bryant

Still cant believe it. Cry
Also his 13 year old daughter who he was taking to her basketball game was also in the crash which even makes it much more harder to take.

5245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: January 26, 2020, 09:23:19 PM
Damn this was very difficult news to hear after the celebrations yesterday for fellow LA Laker player.
My friend messaged me about this news, I thought it's a "Kobe" that was his another friend but no way. It's the real mamba and the living legend.  Cry
This is a very heart breaking news to the world recently, to the NBA world, to the fans and to everyone who loves this guy.  Cry
5246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Japan reportedly working on a proposal to issue a national digital currency on: January 26, 2020, 04:47:55 PM
I don't think it's about "fear" of Chinese Yuan's stable coin. But this is all about innovation, adoption and upgrade of the traditional system in payments that they have. They're all doing it because they can see the true potential that it has.
This isn't about fearing but this is more about embracing the technology that is making a disruptive innovation. Well, they can assume that it's all about fearing but for me, it's not.
5247  Economy / Economics / Re: !!!!World Economic Forum in Davos 2020!!!! on: January 24, 2020, 10:23:47 AM
Maybe this can also relate to what the last G20 summit has introduced about it. I'm looking forward to the positive impact of this forum on Davos and it's now the world that will start talking about blockchain and cryptocurrencies. This will open the eyes of other countries that are looking negatively to it. Once they are already enlightened that it's a good tool to be adopted by them, then we will start seeing a mass adoption from participating countries or they shall consider studying it further.
5248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Win a Presidential plane... on: January 24, 2020, 09:41:46 AM
The chance of winning the plane is low but this is lottery and more than that so whomever will be the lucky guy, ready your airplane parking space. Even Rick Harrison wouldn't buy this plane if you go to their shop and sell this with the current value of that plane.
So, is someone here from Mexico already participated and tried their luck to buy even one ticket? this is for good cause so whether you wouldn't win, it is ok.
5249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pornhub launches payments in stablecoin Tether on: January 24, 2020, 09:04:45 AM
They were the ones that was also reported to have a partnership with Verge, right? so that basically didn't worked out and this is now their new update for their acceptance of cryptocurrencies. I'm not following any of the news regarding them.
I didn't know that they started to give salary in crypto and have a partnership with Horizon and Tron.
5250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: January 24, 2020, 06:28:40 AM
No more team Leberon or Team Giannis?
They are going back to the old thing?

NBA cannot think of something new by now? Maybe we should start suggesting some styles for the All-Star next time.  Cheesy
What a roster for the West. Those are monsters that needs to be separated.
That's the final that was just announced recently. The West sure is an all star hype roster and it's less than a month now til' we see the match. I guess the bookies are getting ready for this match now. Everybody will be betting for the West, who's with the East here?
5251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: January 23, 2020, 10:59:14 PM
After the match that Inoue made with Donaire, he became now a hot spot for those who wants to fight him. Good match for both because it will be on Vegas. Every match that will be held on that venue sure will be a big hit for their careers. We can't underestimate the strategies of both fighters but we still have until April to decide who we will betting for.
5252  Economy / Speculation / Re: should I buy now? on: January 23, 2020, 10:21:56 PM
It is not hard if you have ever planned of it already. The market is dropping now and you can start buying while the others are thinking if it's the good time to buy now. Don't just think of it as a good time to buy but instead of thinking, just do it. When bitcoin has surged to $9,000 then everyone is thinking of buying at $8,500. Then $8500, $8400 and $8300 came. Just like them, you have to start thinking of what certain price you have to start filling up your bag with bitcoin.

To be honest, I think we are at a decisive point right now. We are close to the upper band of the downwarding channel. If we enter it back again, I would be not surprised to go all the way back down again, which would correlate to a price of $5-6k. Probably the whole crypto world is watching the price movement in the next 48 hours. Fingers crossing for some bounce back up.

I'm seeing analysis like that and yes, it's still a moment of thinking to buy. But it's all up to the folks that wants to buy right now, if they want to and considers this price as a good one means that they'll start buying.
The same speculation everywhere and charts are likely to be like that whenever I scroll on different platforms, I'm no TA expert but there seems to be a consensus with what's about to happen next.
5253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a Safe Haven for Your Money? on: January 23, 2020, 09:55:02 PM
Good question, Bitcoin is certainly a safe haven for storing money, but this security also depends on you.  Smiley
Depends on the person who's holding bitcoin because it must be him that will look into his investment whether it's a safe haven for him. But if he thinks that it's not then it's not but if he thinks that it is, then it is. Safe haven in a way when a war triggered and all of the damages will be done in different assets that we have, real estate and traditional investments that we have will also be affected.

5255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sigh... Do i need to hold and sell it later or now? Quite tricky situation. on: January 23, 2020, 12:49:59 PM
This is really a deciding factor on your situation because we can't tell and give you an appropriate answer what will happen by that time. We can give our speculations and predictions but it's not enough to say that it will be accurate as what we're saying. The answer is most that is anticipating that bitcoin will pump because of halving but it's an opinion by everyone. You need to decide clearly whether to sell or not prior to the date that you need money.
5256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum About to Break Out of a 2-Year Bear Market? on: January 22, 2020, 11:51:46 PM
It will and just like bitcoin which the one that it follows already got out of its bear market. So, Ethereum would do the same too. Although the other coins and forks got the mass pump for the past few weeks and Ethereum didn't do much. Just like them, time will come for Ethereum and it will show that it's a dominant altcoin in the market. The growth that it's showing is very slow compared to others but this is a safer motion that those.
5257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: MCO Visa Card from Crypto.com on: January 22, 2020, 11:25:16 PM
MCO just started the distribution of the cards in europe. Has anyone from europe already passed the adress verification process in order to receive the card.
I looked at the different tiers of their card. And the requirement is you have to stake MCO to become eligible with the card of your choice. The red which you like will only cost you a small amount of staking while the more amount you will be taking, the more benefits you shall get. And you will get better answers on their subreddit with the same question.

5258  Economy / Gambling / Re: MintDice – Bitcoin Casino With Online Slots, Bitcoin Crash & Bitcoin Investment on: January 22, 2020, 10:52:50 PM
I guess it's way more better to put an option to turn the sounds on and off, that's more appropriate here IMO. By the way, am I the only one experiencing this but whenever I open the site it's took a little longer to open up?
Probably it's only you, I've tried to access and I have no problem logging in quickly. Might also be the problem with your ISP so check it out. The site loads well and quick on my side so check those possibilities regarding your network.
I always had these loading issue and its just not only the issue of mintdice most of the gambling sites needs 5 or more seconds to load up even if you got high speed internet nd this will only occurs when you login to their wiebsite.
What browser do you use? have you tried using another browser to check if this is just an issue of browser or it's really mintdice and the other casinos that you're logging in? Because on my side, I'm not experiencing this issue so do with other casinos too.
5259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tricks and tips for esports betting on: January 22, 2020, 10:23:33 PM
I agree to @TheUltraElite. There are fixed matches but mostly in esports it's not the bookies that run it but it's the players themselves. For example, there were already a lot of players that were banned by valve due to match fixing. Knowing that Valve is the owner of steam where Dota 2 currently runs and the one that organizes huge tournaments with millions of prize pools, it's a devastating ban for life for those involved players.
https://liquipedia.net/dota2/Banned_players

This is precisely why I can never bet on esports. I'm not saying it's full of cheats or anything but I've heard stories from lower levels and seen myself in my country some of the local tournaments, where it's just full of deals and backdoor agreements.

Good to ban people for life from cheating. I absolutely hate it.
It's painful to the side of the bettors because they are supporting a specific team, knowing that the team they are supporting is already accepted or designated to lose the game. This covers the whole betting platform for Dota 2 which includes item and also to those bookies which are the bets are into bitcoin. The punishment is hard and it's removing your whole career into the competitive scene if you are a pro player.
5260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Influencers Wanted! on: January 22, 2020, 09:50:02 PM
Before subscribing to them, make sure that you can be aware if they are starting to shill some projects that you are unaware of. Because some crypto youtubers are doing that strategy to earn from their viewers which is very normal but sometimes it's going too much that it shouldn't be obvious and away from their goal of educating and giving content to their viewers. One good channel that I have found is boxmining.
