5241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What happened with ADA? on: April 20, 2019, 11:41:05 PM
I`ve tryied to find out on their subreddit, but all I understood is that they are late with the roadmap update..

Can someone explain what exactly happened these days?

You mean Cardano (ADA) ?

No one would know on what are the things happening behind that project.Just like on most coins in the market, the price had gone down to the floor
and still no recovery it do shows.
5242  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which one is better? Forex or crypto currency trading? on: April 19, 2019, 07:37:59 PM
In my youth, I tried to trade in Forex, as it seems to me, trading there is more stable and is subject to study of more types of analyzes than crypto.
I can attest to that yet im a forex trader too when im still starting fully with trading but i switch to crypto and leave out forex due to profit difference.
Here on crypto you can earn too fast due to volatility and huge price swings but expect the risk is doubled compared to forex thats why its better to watch out.
5243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO makes me sick on: April 18, 2019, 10:01:33 PM
I think we can say that the new system has already replaced the old one. At the moment, ICO is carried out only by the blockchain industry titans, all the rest simply will not be able to raise funds. However, there is an assumption that the ICO will still return in its old form, provided that the current system is no longer profitable.

Not anymore, ICO will soon to replace by IEO platform which I believe that this could erase the bad reputation have given to crypto space.
I've been participating ICO before but it never be that bad unlike it shown recently. A lot of people tried to manipulate the market and even more greedy to take care of their own and not for the benefits of everybody.
That's commonly happened after this market become the place for greedy and manipulative people, ico's hasn't get any good support from the communities, as investors and traders are being frustrated after those results coming from previous projects who turned to be scam or not even meet listing inside decent exchange.
Frustration is really there thats why the damage cant really be repaired made by those greedy people or scammers shall we say which entirely
destroy out the essence of ICO just for their own's sake. For now ICO is gradually going to the floor yet IEO is now the newest thing but not literally safe on
getting some losing investment.
5244  Economy / Economics / Re: More formal blockchain education needed in the Philippines on: April 18, 2019, 09:15:58 PM
I mean yeah technology is important to learn but there's no need to make it mandatory.
Education about blockchain tech definitely does not need to be mandatory.  There are lots of other things that kids/young adults should have to learn, like parenting skills, money management, health care, and other practical topics that would help them in everyday life.  Blockchain education might be an excellent elective course, but given that it's very new and hasn't been widely adopted, I don't see it as something everyone needs to learn about.
Good thing to be focused on rather than on choosing Blockchain related course but if its just optional then it isnt really that a bad idea.It might be new but building or gaining out
some knowledge towards it would really be an advantage for learners compared to those normal citizens who doesnt have much awareness on this tech's existence.
5245  Economy / Speculation / Re: When you win does someone else have to lose. on: April 18, 2019, 08:51:39 PM
Whenever I trade and make a profit, does someone else lose?

For example, I've been watching an altcoin market for three years and knew that a certain currency always triples in value going from x to 3x in a couple of months. Having spare money avaliable I put some in to test the strategy and I'm close to my 3x at the moment.

My question is, whenever I trade and make a profit is there always going to be someone who's made a loss or is this an odd way of thinking? Could it be that these people are losing a small amount of money or that these people are buying a coin by going (I'll put 10% in that) so as to not really matter if it profits or. Loses as it generated a stable ish value.
Not necessarily that someone must loose because you made profit from your trading. They will only lose if and only if they sell their holding below the market value they bought the coins in question.
But knowing those stuffs behind wont really be possible for those people who have sell their holding either they do already profit out or just simply panic selling
but well this cycle is just a normal or casual stuff with trading market. If you do gain then someone's gonna loss maybe not on the same person but as a general.
5246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Shower thought. Why is Bitcoin hard to define? on: April 18, 2019, 08:19:48 PM
A non-Bitcoiner friend asked me, "What is Bitcoin?", I was unable to answer directly as my mind was racing to find an answer. My first instinct was to tell him that it was a "peer to peer digital ecash for the internet", but should something global, trustless, provably scarce, independent, open, and censorship-resistant be described as something so shallow?

Bitcoin is much more, but it's very hard to find the words to describe it.
Your first answer would really be enough and that 2nd thought is just a common opinion afterwards of people who do know exactly on what is bitcoin.
For people who do just tend to learn up about bitcoin then that simple explanation at first would already be enough. Not too technical to understand and besides
when giving out explanation you should give also some sites as reference.
5247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Bitcoin SV going to crash? on: April 17, 2019, 11:54:54 PM
The most recent Craig Wright shenanigan has exchanges talking about delisting BItcoin SV - so far, there's binance and kraken... The list might go on. If Craig continues, it might mean more woes for the bitcoin fork.

Personally, not sure why Craig desperately wants to be acknowledged as Satoshi - pointless. If anything, it's just to pump his ego or maybe influence the price of BSV over the legacy Bitcoin chain.

Are you going to still hodl BSV or just sell? Report says it dropped 13% after Binance threatened to delist on 22 April if Craig doesn't back down.

Kraken's poll already has about 76% of people saying it's toxic. What do you think?

Kraken, Binance and few other exchanges have delisted BSV due to the attitude of Craig Wright to tweets about him. However, OKEX does not plan to delist it.
If Craig will not bring some value and something new for the community, I do not see any bright future for this token.
Being delisted on those exchangers do give a warning if that he wont stop on making foolish things then he might see another exchange to delist BSV.
Good thing that OKEX didnt consider to join up with the pack but who knows that they might revert it one day.
5248  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Im a full Time Trader on: April 17, 2019, 11:49:27 PM
You are full time trader and you are not making any money? Then you are making some mistakes that you are keeping on repeating. First of all, get a full time job. Make trading just a hobby of yours to make extra profit. Secondly, only invest what you will be able to lose for now. Now, before you start trading with huge amount, learn how the market works. Get to know the basics of trading. Then, start investing small amount and learn from your mistakes. Once you get to understand everything, start investing more and try not to repeat your previous mistakes.
Its just unbelievable for someone who wont notice for a long period of time that hes not making any profits which we would definitely tell ourselves
that there would be something wrong with your trading.2 years is already long enough for you on not to notice. For op, just try to look at on the primary mistake
why he do still stuck on being not profitable.
5249  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you define a good exchange? on: April 17, 2019, 07:51:05 PM
Insurance is the only thing currently that I want and expect from an exchange. It could be hacked anytime but if it has an insurance, there is a possibility we could get back our investments. KYC is not such a problem if the exchange does have an insurance.
Dont expect for these exchangers to give out some insurance. If it does then they would comply heavily when it comes to legality and as an exchange owner it wont really be an easy thing.

When we do talk about good exchange is something that doesnt give out any headaches when it comes to their service. Good UI, Fast support,Low Fees etc.
5250  Economy / Economics / Re: What the true believers know but don't express well on: April 17, 2019, 06:50:26 PM
For the true believers, Bitcoin will always have value as long as it exists.

We will be happy to work or sell goods for 1 btc even if we know the price will move in the future.

The increase of true believers, of their revenue and of their networth drives the price up because as they get older, they get richer and as they get richer, they get more bitcoins. The process takes year and increases bitcoin's strengh and bottoms.

It's not a year or 2 bear market that will chase previous true believers and new true believers arrive in the community everyday and it's pushing the price higher.
How many % do these believers on overall Crypto community? I doubt that most of them wont really tend to sell nor use their Bitcoin holdings but rather
they would just simply hold it up because they know that price do give out some interest as the years goes by.It is really meant to be stored nor on idle but you cant
blame people on behaving such way yet they do know the potential of price increase later on.
5251  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance going to delisted BitcoinSV on: April 16, 2019, 07:30:04 PM
The fact that it is a fork of a fork has nothing to do with why they are delisting it.
Actually whatever fact investors and holders got loss. If this trend continues, I mean if follow others reputed exchanges then more investors will get loss. To be honest satoshi vision sound is not wise with any other coin. Whatever satoshi vision, its match with bitcoin in my opinions. Thanks God I was not holders, and really sorry for them who have lost their fund with BSV. Not sure how long it will take for recover. Who know it wouldn't recover anymore?
There would be always two paths, either it would recover or would completely die out.If this trend will really continue where the community do really reacts or do have that hate towards BSV
then exchangers that do list out will consider to delist it and for people who purchased it will really have a loss if they wont able to get out on the right time.
5252  Economy / Speculation / Re: Paypal Board Member: Bitcoin May Grow 250x on: April 16, 2019, 06:47:22 PM
Wences Casares, the CEO of Xapo and board member of Paypal, believes there is a 50% chance that bitcoin will succeed, causing the leading cryptocurrency to rise 250x in price from where it is today. Doing some math, this equates to $1.25 million per bitcoin. I'm not sure if this is a realistic figure, but it seems to be one of the most bullish calls in some time.

https://www.newsbtc.com/2019/04/14/paypal-board-member-bitcoin-btc-value-may-surge-by-250x-if-it-succeeds/
Nothing new here where these personalities call out some speculations that do even reach out of this world.Im not even believing that we would able to hit up $30k-$50k which is
recently predicted yet we havent even reach nor passed previous ATH.We should do make some calls if we do able to reach or break that ATH then its possible but talking on
$1.25M/BTC then they are just dreaming.
5253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can you reverse or cancel a bitcoin transaction? on: April 16, 2019, 06:14:31 PM
One of the things that caught my attention about irreversible transaction which do Bitcoin have thats why im hooked into crypto due to this feature that no fiat/banking system can give out.
Before you do jump into Bitcoin/Crypto World you would surely know this stuff on early phase. Bitcoin tx wont really be reversible thats why making transactions or sending out
funds into other wallet, make it sure that you have entered the right one.
5254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Boycott CNN - Spreading negative news and mentioning we are begging whales on: April 14, 2019, 04:35:30 PM
Skimmed through the article and I didn't seem to find anything regarding 'begging' but rather continuously relating bitcoin and conventional asset classes. I'm not defending anything regarding CCN but you may have overly analyzed the said article. Also, ultimately it's the choice of institutional investors and those meddling with the Dow to place their money on cryptoassets, and not because the community is 'begging' them but they simply want to take advantage of the opportunity for profits.
Supposed to say the same thing in regards of overanalyzing which do leads up some different approach of such news.Theres nothing being mentioned about begging.

Overall, I don't fully rely or do completely trust on all media sites for their news to be real anytime.
5255  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is following the same path of 2017 on: April 14, 2019, 04:10:05 PM
You can always spot similarities in movement of bitcoin in the past but it does not guarantee anything.Remember, past performance does not assure future performance. Don't get your hopes too high.
Sometimes being too optimistic would really lead to unrealistic presumptions or hopes which would only frustrate you if those hopes are being broken that's why theres no such thing
that things in the past will guaranteed to happen in the future. It may form out similar patters but as said these things doesn't assure that it would repeat once again.
5256  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what kind of trading will suit for me? on: April 13, 2019, 10:05:41 PM
A day trade won't be successful if you don't have a group in telegram to rely on with so many members on it

Are you not saying the same thing as a day trader can't be successful if it does not belong to a telegram group? And my answer is no because there are many independent and competent day traders that are making it by themselves. After all, the guys that are relied upon in the telegram are individuals too.

By exception, except the day trader is someone that has no confidence in him or herself.
Those groups are just add up and nothing or completely to rely about yet im an active trader but i do trade independently.I do get some
resources when it comes to informations which can be used on my trading positions. These things arent really necessary for you to have yet
as a trader you can do anything independently with your own intellect and skills.
5257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can We Find Satoshi? on: April 13, 2019, 09:19:36 PM
whoever is satoshi, wherever he is, real or not. his identity will remain confidential and I think it is natural that one of them is for security.
therefore it would be better if we stop discussing it.
You can stop people for them not to tackle or do talk about the creator of Bitcoin. We are here on this forum because of him due to this innovative tech which is really beneficial not only
on financial system but also with money making opportunity as well.

Have you seen guys the current issue with Craig Wright?
5258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will run crypto airdrop bounty and ICO like previous running on: April 13, 2019, 08:35:04 PM

previous running  and which should be one selected
to get much profit among  airdrop bounty and ICO invest
Im trying to understand on what you are trying to say on here.Next time be sure on how to construct your grammar so that most people will able to understand on what you are trying to say here.
Im reading up other comments so that i would have the idea on what would i reply. Cool

Airdrop profitability? Those days are gone. Investing on ICO? IEO is the new thing now.
5259  Economy / Speculation / Re: To the Moon! Crypto Evangelist Brian Kelly’s Jaw-Dropping Bitcoin Price Predicti on: April 13, 2019, 08:02:19 PM
Any other price speculations.I see no different on any of them, even just myself would predict out some price thats why i dont trust up any views from other people.
Predictions can be made and it do really have that chance for Bitcoin to surpass out its previous ATH but it would take years and about that halving moment, if that would thing
will hype up then possibly we would see those ATH above numbers.
5260  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do most of You Traders just use a Laptop for trading with??? ? on: April 12, 2019, 09:02:53 PM
A laptop will do if you are only trading a few pairs and don't need to concentrate on different things at the same time, but a large monitor would be much better for your eyes. Multiple monitors will help you multi task better and keep an eye on more pairs, indicators.
On my current set-up I do have 3 monitors which I can really say that it is a must have thing when you are going full time but if not then 1 monitor would suffice.
It isn't really necessary for you to have lots if you can handle your trades but the comfort do it gives and the access it would really be much better.
