5241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BTGold.org online wallet on: October 27, 2017, 10:08:31 PM
As far as I know till now there is no trusted wallet recommended by officials. And Blockchain hasn't go live yet. Be very careful to not get scammed
5242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My strategy for the next hardfork SEGWIT2X on: October 27, 2017, 09:27:14 PM
My strategy:

step1: Transfer BTC to an exchange that credits 2X immediately when the fork is happening. (Because you won´t be able to do transactions)
step2: Sell all of my 1X BTC for 2X
step3: Sell all of my 2X for BitcoinCash

This is the worst decision any one can makes. Selling BTC for Bitcoin Segwit 2x when most probably all people will sell their Bitcoin Segwit 2x!!!!

and why finally sell them for Bitcoin Cash? It is so risky and it is like a gamble with very low chance.
5243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: All my tokens in MEW stolen! on: October 27, 2017, 09:05:31 PM
Check the transactions in etherscan.
I hope you do not miss your coins. Maybe the site is not loaded properly. Did you clicked on ''Load token balances'' button?
5244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Total supply, circulating supply on: October 27, 2017, 08:58:42 PM
Thank you all for the prompt answers. The reason I am asking is that having a look at the https://coinmarketcap.com site, then using the circulating supply and the market cap one can find the price of a coin. Thus, one can estimate the future price based on estimations about the market cap and the circulating supply. And since the market cap is something that depends on the market but circulating supply does not depend on the market, then those who control circulating supply have great power/influance on the future price of the coins. Am I right or I have misundersood something here?

Nope. Circulating supply is the number of coins that are currently in circulation.

The total supply is the amount of coins that can EVER be in circulation. For bitcoin, there is a cap at around 21 million that can be never exceeded. But bitcoin's circulating supply on the other hand is only less than 20 million right now.

Nobody "controls" the circulating supply.

You are right about Bitcoin. Nobody controls its circulating supply. But there are some coins that their circulating supply is controlled by developers ( Most of the Ethereum based tokens that we see nowadays )
5245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: MyEtherWallet on: October 27, 2017, 07:00:35 PM
I need help with one thing on MyEtherWallet.

I have participated in few aidrops and used MyEtherWallet address but I forgot exactly each ones so I don't know

Token contact adress

Token symbol

Decimals

Is there some way I can see all tokens in my wallet without entering this?

Or some other way?

Check your balance in Etherscan or ethplorer. All of your token will be shown. For the information you want about any token just click on its symbol. Then you can use them to see your balance in myetherwallet.
5246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: EtherDelta on: October 27, 2017, 06:53:22 PM
Export the private key of that address, then import it into myetherwallet. If you have sent Ethereum or its tokens to that address, you can use them.
5247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Usd or altcoins immediately after 2x? on: October 26, 2017, 11:18:50 PM
In my opinion in this way you can make a small profit. Bitcoin price fell after Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold fork . Most probably it will happen after coming fork too. But I personally do not risk. I prefer to hold my BTCs.
5248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Ico's work ? on: October 20, 2017, 10:13:37 PM
Many people have become wealthy with Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Charts show it and everything is clear. But now it's no longer that easy. for now investing in ICOs is more risky. You might lose your money. Those who are rich now with cryptocurrencies are people that believed it when no one knew it or paid attention to it.
If you are new to cryptocurrencies, know that you can make huge money with it, But it is not easy, It needs much efforts and patience.
5249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: AFTER THE FORK .. has Bitcoin Gold's price already been factored in? on: October 20, 2017, 09:33:09 PM
With the experience of Bitcoin Cash, I except the sum of Bitcoin and Bitcoin Gold prices to be more than Bitcoin current price. This is what happened after the past fork too.
5250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Guarda wallet for Bitcoin Gold on: October 20, 2017, 09:04:35 PM
Dont use this wallet, there has been a lot of people scammed by this way on August 1nd (on the first fork) people were tried to be redirected to a phising site or a confusing site of a wallet for bitcoin cash, maybe this is just a new version of a scammy wallet for bitcoingold.
So stay away from this, hold your coins on your wallet, exchange, or whenever you have them, you will receive your bitcoin goldies anyway, in every wallet you have them.

Although this wallet is recommended by the official website, I agree with you. Because there are some exchanges on the official website I don't trust them. For now better to keep Bitcoins in an address which we know its private key and wait for more secure wallets.
5251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any speculations about Electroneum? on: October 20, 2017, 08:15:41 AM
Now all the tokens are sold out. As I see in social medias seems that it is very attractive for investors. I don't think it can compete with Bitcoin or Ethereum, but you can make a good profit in both short-term and long-term.
5252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are they still ICO doing the traditional way? Total Fund/ Contribution = Tokens? on: October 20, 2017, 08:07:47 AM
As long as unsold tokens are burned there is no difference. But the problem is that some don't burn unsold tokens. And seems that all are using the first method you mentioned.
5253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Exchanges that support BTG on: October 20, 2017, 07:44:54 AM
I only uses Bittrex Cryptocopia and Liqui mostly

Bittrex mainly, but their status on BTG is currently unknown as they don't declare what coins are they accepting/upcoming before they really confirm. Guess there are 5 more days so i guess Bittrex would most likely Split for us, just like how BTC and BCH splitted

As Bittrex has not announced anything till now, better to move your Bitcoins to a address which you know its private key. This way, you can import your Bitcoin Gold to any wallet you want.
5254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ether doge coins not transferring ... on: October 20, 2017, 07:42:06 AM
Most probably the tokens are frozen and they can't be transferred . I have experienced this problem several times with some other tokens. If you send the tokens you will only pay the transaction fee.

5255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty campaign on: October 19, 2017, 07:44:41 PM
For me the bounty selection method is the same as choosing an ICO. Because my spending my time which can be more valuable than money. Reading whitepaper, Roadmap, The team behind the project, its poulariy in medias and its rating on some cryptocurrencies websites are so important for me.
5256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: 'Not checksummed' shows when I enter an address on: October 19, 2017, 07:39:35 PM
Do the transaction without worry if you are sure that the address is true. I experienced this when I sent a token from myetherwallet to HitBTC. I sent it and there was no problem.
5257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which exchanges are supporting bitcoin gold? on: October 19, 2017, 07:36:27 PM
Last time bittrex and other exchanges confirmed listing way before the fork. This time there hasn't been any announcement so don't expect btcgold listed in any serious exchange.

Either way it's a snapshot, and btcgold will be credited like 1 month after for all users. The best option if you want this shitcoin is keep your btc in your wallet or a confirmed exchange.

Sure that all the exchanges will list Bitcoin Gold same as what happened to Bitcoin Cash. Most probably Bitcoin gold like Bitcoin Cash will be one of top coins on coinmarketcap. So It is attractive for all the exchanges
5258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gas Price on: October 13, 2017, 11:44:32 PM
which I know of gas in MyEtherWallet (MEW) always default automatically follow the amount of tokens to be transferred.
when we set the gas larger than the default, will the rest of the gas be returned to ballance ethereum?

Yes, It means that you lose nothing when you choose higher gas limits. That's gas price which is determining the transaction fee.

so according to you, should use fee (gas) which default automatically or bigger than the default? (for fast transactions, but not out much more fee)

Fee = gas limit * gas price

confirmation time depends on gas price not gas limit. So higher gas limits doesn't cause the transaction to be faster. Always increase gas price when you want your transaction to be confirmed sooner.
And use high gas limit as the extra amount will return to your wallet.

5260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ether price climbs above 300. Will it stay there? on: October 13, 2017, 11:06:19 PM
I think it will happen, But not now. These days all people prefer to have more bitcoins due to coming forks. After those forks, I think Ethereum can reach 400 dollar or even more.
