5266  Bitcoin / Project Development / [Need Partners] Instant sales with commercials - Bitpay 2.0 on: January 19, 2014, 05:06:35 PM
I want to create an app to transfer shipping information when you send a payment. Eg. Commercials can have a special qr with an address and a url.

The app will send the payment anonymously then intentionally post your shipping information to the url and sign it with your Bitcoin private key. Talk about instant sales, no account creation, no carts. Beautiful. Bitpay 2.0.

Merchant can request certain information and app will ask customer permission. Each merchant Bitcoin address will have reviews that only those that purchased can write. These can be used in commercials, flyers, catalogs, websites, etc. You can ask for just an email for digital products.

I need an android developer, a name and marketing guy.

Client will be modified mycellium app and merchants will be given a url when they register. We can pipe directly into bitpay if needed. We will charge a 0.5% fee.

There has never been 1 click shopping like this. Now who wants to join me?
5267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the chances BTC is replaced by something better soon? on: January 19, 2014, 03:00:39 PM
well, this is a great topic, but I am afraid half the posters here will hijack this thread by spamming the altcoin they hold

Rapecoin

LOL, I literally spit out of my coffee.

I think you read it wrong, its Rap-eCoin
5268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The NEXT generation of Physical Bitcoins... on: January 19, 2014, 02:58:09 PM
Have any of you guys seen what this guy is doing with low denomination tradeable BTC's (Numisalis).
http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/numisalis-physical-bitcoin

This is a really interesting design, coins are scan-able (tags inside), private key is in the middle of the coin and the coin must be broken open to get it out. Really designed as a usable tradeable off block chain BTC.
Hard to explain it all. I hope his campaign is successful. He has a short 2 minute video explaining things there.

No affiliation except that I gave 60 bucks to campaign and would love it to reach the goal!

Its about sharing

I was disappointed that the gears didn't move.

5274  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why is BTC value significantly different among exchangers? on: January 19, 2014, 02:49:44 PM
Am I the only one who still doesn't get it? Why don't billionaires buy a crapload of BTC elsewhere for 800$ elsewhere and sell them for 900$ on mtgox?? To me it sounds like an almost instant 12.5% profit with a 6 week payout time?
Do we expect mtgox to take the money and run?

Sell them for $900 and then do what with the cash? The problem is you can't withdraw fiat from gox. People have been queuing for 6 months to get money out of gox.

Do you see why people don't do it? Gox is likely to go out of business before people get their fiat out.

Fly to japan, get a free vacation. 0 risk.
5275  Economy / Speculation / Re: I AM HODLING on: January 19, 2014, 02:45:27 PM
Just for the record, is it still hodling if you trade and end up with more bitcoins in the end or are those people traitors?

It is called gambling. Not the same as hodl.
If you increase your btc 1,000% by trading, and sell the 900% profit, but are still holding the original position, is that hodling?

BLASHPHEMOUS! GET OUT

HODL ONLY

So I am confused a little.

If port 9332 work from inside my network but port 9333 doesn't shouldn't I be forwarding port 9332 from my firewall?

I have looked through the sites on google and a lot them say forward 9333.

Forward 9333 for PEER which is good.
You normally wouldn't forward 9332 which would let others mine on your node AND see what you are mining and earning.
