Previously, many people could not buy BTC for the reason that it was expensive and the amount was small. Is this already on the verge of Dropping Deadline???
I understand what you are referring to, yet you could have structured the question better next time. What I will advise you about regarding Bitcoin is that you should be the speculator of the price in the long-term dispensation to know what it would always do. And as for the bottoming of the price now, I don't think so, Bitcoin might still fall unless the weekly and monthly charts say otherwise.

As for now, they are both confirming the bearish trend, so if you are looking for a lower price to eventually buy the crypto conservatively, you might wait. However, if you want to be an aggressive holder, you might buy at its current price since it is low enough.
5263  Economy / Speculation / Re: MY DAILY BITCOIN SPECULATIONS AND VIEWS on: September 08, 2022, 05:36:47 AM
I was right to have suspected a retracement yesterday, but the retracement has slipped into what looks like a reversal now. This calls for a strict watch of the market today before taking a position. Bitcoin might want to start a ranging pattern, time will tell as the guidance of the 4H and daily chart are crucial at this time.

On the 4H chart, the MACD is negative and the stochastic oscillator has reached the overbought regions. These might limit the power of the buyers today and send the market back to a lower price for a retest of the weekly low of 18510.77. While a further break of it will target 17625.00 (low of June). However, in case the Bulls gains more power and were able to launch a successful attack on the trendline resistance at 19772.77, then a higher level of 21825.97 would be unveiled.

Also, the daily chart has some interesting outlooks that traders should be careful with. The stochastic oscillator has had a bullish cross, this is a warning to potential sellers. And note that this would be aggravated if today's candlestick is positive.

My verdict: The market might slip into a ranging pattern this week. This means that it might only have limited bullish power today before selling. But if it breaches above 19772.77, it has confirmed a buy signal.

I've been keeping a close eye on your thread after the failed break-out from trend-line resistance. Personally I wasn't very convinced by it as someone who prefers trend-lines to be connected by candle closes as opposed to candle wicks, or at least as many touches as possible without breaking candle bodies. In that respect, I saw this failed break-out as opposed to what you were referencing, for what that's worth.

Anyway, I think we are both on the same page for how the current resistance trend-line looks:

Sorry, I just saw your post today. One thing you should know is that the market is at times unpredictable and highly indecisive in movements, especially in the short-term outlook. All trading strategies have their fair share of that indecision too as they react to bad market conditions. That was what happened, breakout strategy could have false-breakout as many times as possible if the market is indecisive

The reason for the last is the directionless movements seen in the past 9 days before yesterday caused by the sideways movements of the market. You can see I switched to the daily chart even before reading your post to see the broader outlook and to avoid being caught in the web of markets' indecisiveness.
5266  Economy / Speculation / Re: MY DAILY BITCOIN SPECULATIONS AND VIEWS on: September 07, 2022, 06:23:58 AM
I was right to be careful yesterday, Bitcoin initially rose but topped at 20179.52 before diving down to break away from its sideways lower levels and bottoming at 18637.51 for the day. This is a bearish trend confirmed by principles, and it shows that the market might not have bottomed yet for the year as it has renewed the hope of journeying down to the low of June at 17625.00

The price action is negative on the daily chart, and so is the MACD indicator. The stochastic oscillator is also pointing lower in readiness for more bearish movements today.

However, careful dealing is advised as well in case the market wants to observe a minor retracement before proceeding with the selling.

5268  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Game on: September 06, 2022, 09:10:20 AM
It is quite rare that he does not know what a casino is, since it is not necessary to have played in one to get an idea. By watching a movie in which a casino appears, for example, you get an idea. But I guess he hasn't seen one.

OP, there is no better way to get familiar with what a casino is than to gamble in one, but I don't generally recommend it because the math is against you. If at some point you want to try it, be aware of that. There are people who play casino games for entertainment but be aware that although in some cases you may leave the casino with more money, the long term tendency is inevitably to lose money.
With your explanation, I believe you understand this casino of a thing very well. I have read through this topic and know that the OP would have gained a lot of knowledge through it based on what I have read from posters.

The entertainment aspect attracted me so much, there are many reasons and ways we play casinos, but what we do is one, which is gambling. I was not a player until I joined BTT because it is obvious that it is everywhere in the gambling and discussion section, and I need the experience.

My playing is with little amounts and I do that mainly to replace watching movies and all that. A kind of another hobby if I must say, yet I must try not to get addicted.
5269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2022 Group Stage Highlights on: September 06, 2022, 08:43:16 AM
Yeah, I agree with you. Brazil is probably going to win this world cup, at least it has the best historical scores. Argentina is always a really good team. I would put Germany there instead of France though.
So, you have concluded that a South American country will win the world cup? I beg to disagree with you judging by their past experience and the present team they have. Maybe you are looking at the side of Neymar and Messi, they can't do anything, you can mark my word for it. I have always respected them for their good football, but have you ever traced their performances in recent times? Their team will fail but they might reach the quarter-final. Argentina will not reach the semi-final even if Brazil would. Mark my words. I will always bet on Germany to take this trophy.
5270  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I use Bitcoin in a country that it is banned? on: September 06, 2022, 08:00:57 AM
Cryptocurrency options in government affiliates may be just a trap for those crypto users so that the government knows who is using crypto. Governments that implement this method certainly have the goal of targeting taxes for those who deal with crypto directly.
If the government could go the extra mile for setting affiliates and traps because of crypto, then it must have been a total ban in the country. This is not in my case. Also, if that is targeted towards tax evaders, I guess it is lame because the best way I believe they can legitimately tax a risky asset like crypto is when a transaction from it is completed through the conversion of crypto to the currency of the country using the bank.

Mobile banking? Commerical banks have mobile banking as well. Which mobile banking are you talking about? Those that deals with e-wallet that are not commerical banks? There is a lot of options in Nigeria. But the use of bitcoin is allowed in Nigeria, only CBN banned it, but Nigerians turned to P2P and no issue.
He might not know what we are discussing here because the issue of transacting with banks and mobile banking apps is just the same thing.

On July, 15th 2022, I got my 10,000th merit.
A good profile you have here, and I like your motivation, which suggests that anyone can do it, it will encourage us to do more, especially the new members. But no matter how some better users post here, they might still not rank well compared to some lesser-quality posters. That's life, just like some better quality videos that will be unpopular compared to some fewer quality videos that would go viral. We have to admit that luck is also needed here even for someone to be noticed, not only efforts, which makes it sad.

I think a dedicated page should be on the forum where anyone could request their posts to be reviewed randomly. This might increase the chance of being noticed more and being ranked up if the work is of good quality.

5272  Economy / Speculation / Re: MY DAILY BITCOIN SPECULATIONS AND VIEWS on: September 06, 2022, 06:32:45 AM
Extreme caution is advised in trading Bitcoin as it repeated its indecisive movement yesterday, it bought and sold many times. This is misleading, and it might continue with these sideways and ranging movements until strong activities that could be caused by news or liquidity happens. Until then, I am neutral on the market, the daily chart explains how indecisive the market is. I will wait for further guidance today before calling for a direction tomorrow.

5273  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I use Bitcoin in a country that it is banned? on: September 05, 2022, 08:10:58 AM
In Nigeria, as long as you do not take bitcoin and other crypto P2P trading towards business level, you are fine. In my opinion.

Bitcoin is implicitly banned in Nigeria, because the government are mute about it while only CBN is against it. The people that are still turning it to business means can find their bank account blocked, but bitcoin is not illegal to be traded amount people in Nigeria.

There are some countries like China, two to four countries in white African countries (the Northern Africans) and some other countries in the world, which totalled 14 countries as at last year that totally banned bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies. But China makes it known that bitcoin can not be totally banned because of its decentralized design. But it would have been better if bitcoin is not banned in these countries.
Turning it into a business might not even be the major issue because many people are doing business successfully with it, but not with a huge amount. Those that are being traced and have their accounts banned had huge inflows whether business or not. A case study is a friend of a relative that used Bitcoin to receive payment from abroad instead of bank transfer. He became a victim, though the case is in court.

Govt/country can ban an exchange, ban a centralize (custodial) wallet but they can't ban your non custodial wallet of course.
Don't say that, they will make accessibility frustrating for the citizens. First, they will ensure that android and iOS do not list them as their available apps in addition to the domain banning. The VPN will of course help but I am sure that many will not go through that stress but back out.

I think if you want to withdraw them safely into your bank without worrying about Bitcoin being banned convert them into USD there are some sites that can do that but you need to have accounts like skrill, Neteller, Payoneer, or any digital currencies account where you can able to receive USD after you convert Crypto.

If you don't want problems with your bank account, then trade for cash or use payment methods that won't enforce your country's crypto ban - PayPal, Venmo, foreign banks.
Both of you have nailed it best! These are good points, some of the hidden ones that I had thought of as the most viable alternative solutions to P2P that are not often mentioned. Taking it through another route might be a very good one. Taking Skrill as an example, I could fund my dollar bank account directly with it using a low fee with any huge volume provided by earnings is legit.

Got 500 lottery tickets via WoF , but didnt reflect when I check kottery stats.

It takes a couple of minutes to reflect normally. What I do is when I get a prize,I open the Freebitco.in in my phone home screen as I have added Freebitco.in as an app there and go to the lottery tab, normally it should show you the updated number of lottery tickets.

I don't know if we should get to excited or not when we win a good number of lottery tickets as we are competing against a near 50 million user base here at the site so the chances are really low for us to win the first prize of the weekly lottery.
It is good as you have the patience to wait, and what you have explained is a good guide to cool the nerves of some panic users. If any issue persists of this sort though, I report without a further delay, yet I let a couple of hours pass, even a full 24 hours, but I have never experienced that long delay with Freebitco.in lottery tickets.

As for the 50 million users remark, you are right, it is unwise to think that anyone would get the lucky number. But it might still be you one day because it is a game of luck/chance, someone must be the winner, but just don't put your mind that's all.
5275  Economy / Gambling / Re: The History Of Gambling. on: September 05, 2022, 07:16:42 AM
I share that opinion with you, I would never say that, gambling is not a bad activity, there are only people who do not know how to interpret things, I respect the decision and opinion of each person, but they cannot generalize that gambling is bad, because of signatures like these is that in some countries they manage to ban games and casinos, that is something that can never be real, if people want to play in a casino they are free to do so.

If people fall into addiction it is because of them, because the control of the money is in the person who bets, but it is not in the game, I have not seen any game that says: Come and bet all your money or insist to do it, those are things that people have to understand.
Don't let us get this twisted, gambling is what you conclude it to be by yourself, not what anyone concludes for you. And some of the criteria to judge whether gambling is bad for you or not are your psychology towards gambling and why you are gambling, whether for money or fun.

Gambling could be good, particularly for someone like me who plans my engagements and is not addicted to it. It is fun at times when I am bored, and I use little money for my betting. I might even abstain for over 6 months without a single bet, so it is not bad for me. But for those that are so engrossed with it, it might be bad as long as it is now controlling them.
5276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 05, 2022, 07:00:51 AM
you gave a good example of messi, not all players get used to it when they go from one league to another. messi at PSG is not being the same messi and that is not because of his age and precisely because of the style of play of PSG and france, I believe that for example if messi had gone to a spain team like real madrid or atletico madrid he would continue to play well and scoring a lot of goals and you wouldn't notice any change, but in france or even if he had gone to england or even italy he would have had a very average performance, in the case of cristiano ronaldo is the type of player you get used to in any league, but that's because he started in portugal where he has the same style of play with france, england, germany and italy
Many people and players were daring Messi to go to another club to know what he truly is, and you can see what is happening now. I agree with you that it is not about his age, but the lack of adaptability to the new team and environment he finds himself in my view. Messi is still performing better with the Argentine team but why not replicate this with PSG? It is simply because of his trading psychology. Spending almost all his career with Barcelona and Argentina has affected him psychologically unlike C. Ronaldo that has diverse experience.
5277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: September 05, 2022, 06:48:23 AM
To be honest, I do not understand this closeness at all. If Qatar is interested in attracting as many football fans/tourists as possible, then they should show everywhere that everything is ready and lure potential visitors. Maybe the preparation for the World Cup is not so good and they hide it?

Very surprised by the discussion that has unfolded about what can be considered an alcoholic drink and what is not, hehe. Another confirmation of the fact that there is very little purely football news from Qatar.
Everyone is so excited about the world cup match - there is a lot discussion before even the teams have landed for the tournament.
Lots of excitement and lots of stuff to look at how will Qatar be dealing with the tournament and the guest and teams and non islamic culture

Yeah, it will definitely be interesting to see what's going to happen in Qatar, will they simply sell alcohol? That's what happened in Brazil, they changed a law that prevented selling alcohol inside the stadiums. Probably something similar will happen in Qatar.
I think Qatar will host the World Cup in the biggest way this year. They have made many new rules this time which some like and some don't like. As far as I can tell you have banned alcohol. New technology is being added to the ball of the game. In fact, we have to wait for a few more days to see how these things affect the World Cup in Qatar.
This is a very good conversation from all of you and the points being raised are to be viewed critically as well. All eyes are on Qatar truly, so they can't afford to disappoint. They bade for this and have been preparing for the best world cup ever in collaboration and cooperation with FIFA. And as much as they will respect the secularity of the gathering, their own culture and religion must be preserved as well. As for me, aside from the newer technology to be seen, I don't expect much excitement from this year's world cup.
5278  Economy / Speculation / Re: MY DAILY BITCOIN SPECULATIONS AND VIEWS on: September 05, 2022, 06:33:40 AM
Bitcoin refused to sell yesterday but rose after some initial selling efforts to confirm its continued sideways movements which are not in the interest of both the buyers and sellers. It topped and bottomed at 19956.49 and 19583.00 respectively. This is a tight difference, I hope a tangible breakout from its long-lasting sideways levels will happen soon for the market to have a definite direction.

However, I am still bearish today judging by the guide of the 4H chart wherein the market is negative with the MACD and Stochastic oscillator. The price action is also bearish as the market holds below the trendline resistance at 19900.67. Staying below the level will continue to put pressure on Bitcoin today.

But a break above it might cause a bullish spike that might reach 21825.97.

5279  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kucoin, you're getting worse and wasting your customers' time. on: September 04, 2022, 05:50:15 PM
The worst offense is the withdrawal process, though, and it's only gotten worse over time.  This is the process:

1. Move traded coin from Trading to Main account.
2. Initiate withdrawal by clicking the withdrawal button.
3. Click a pop-up confirmation.
4. Select the coin's network from a drop down menu, click it and then click OK.
5. Enter withdrawal amount.
6. Enter your trading password.
7. Go through the SMS verification.
8. Click another confirmation pop-up.
I can sense your frustration about this process, it could be annoying truly.

It got me angry at times as well, especially when trying to beat time for the withdrawal. But I'm afraid, it's the standard practice by the major exchanges I have used. It could even get worse with Binance where in addition to what you wrote, they might add email verification, or even tell you to take a quiz before performing the withdrawal. What a heck!

The processes might seem too much, but a good level of accountability (wallet to trading account) and security (verifications) if I must say.
5280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Problem, Is it Possible to be a Thing of the Past? on: September 04, 2022, 05:23:34 PM
The main points that I could infer from this thread are the addiction to casinos and how to curb them. This is good because many people are facing gambling addictions and more controlling features are still needed. I mean the strict one that all gambling companies will strictly adhere to.

I know what people would be facing when they are addicted, if a good control feature is there, it might help to minimize the harm that could be done, but no self-exclusion feature and others can end the addiction completely except the players themselves.

I have seen a player that removed the feature after a while and things got worse, and another begged me for my own account and funded it to play after using that feature. In light of this, the advice to see a therapist after using any feature is another suggestion.
