5261  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Post your SegWit questions here - open discussion - big week for Bitcoin! on: August 19, 2017, 09:43:53 AM
For a lot of people they need to back off on the questions it's just going to confuse them a lot. Suffice it to say that a series of security and helper code Snippets were added to the original code. If you want to go beyond that and of course post your questions, but just understand that you might be confusing yourself more than it's worth.
5262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trusted Cryptocurrency Wallet LINKS on: August 19, 2017, 09:22:45 AM
I don't see the purpose of telling them not to Google The links. As long as you make sure that you're clicking on a proper link once you Google something you should be fine. Now the one thing with this there that you going to have to look out for, is the original announcement seems to have valid links, but people could sneak in there quickly and put it invalid ones. If there was a way to close the thread that reopen it so that only the original poster was the one adding links to it that would be awesome.
5263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your biggest altcoin regret? on: August 19, 2017, 04:49:22 AM
Regrets are the luxury of those who do not trade. If you want to be a businessman, and you want to make money, and you want to be a Trader, then it's time to let go of regrets. There will be prophets and there will be losses, and there will be learning experiences. Regrets those do not exist anymore Jedi.
5264  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the combined net worth of all bitcoins in existence? on: August 19, 2017, 03:35:07 AM
I can't do it on my phone, and at the same time it keeps coming back in scientific notation. But this is actually pretty easy to do. If you wanted to know the value of the entire Bitcoin chain, for this particular moment all you have to do is multiply $4,000 * 21 billion. Basically that puts it over trillion. For the information that you're looking for it's the same transaction and math but substitute 21 billion with the amount of Bitcoins that are currently in circulation.
5265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: my MyEtherWallet/account was emptied on: August 19, 2017, 03:12:28 AM
It is actually surprising how small the group of developers out there are that can properly handle Coding cryptocurrency. In the end, in order for people to deal with cryptocurrency they have to download install software that their system warned against, using a system of mining and confirmation that they don't fully understand, and within that fragile environment they place a financial holding.
5266  Economy / Speculation / Re: Remember $4,300 this is one of your last chance to get cheap coin on: August 18, 2017, 08:07:48 PM
With the number of decimal points behind satoshi I don't think anyone has any take me to worry about it this time. You can buy in at such a small point that no one's going to have to worry about anything at all. A $20 bill is still sitting there at 3 decimal point so this isn't going to be something that's going to be a problem at all. At least not for a long time.

5267  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any books you can recommend me about trading practices? on: August 18, 2017, 07:49:09 PM
Then, learn everything you can about the Commodities Market because Bitcoin is illegally a commodity. That, read everything you can legally about currency and no the loss. There are too many people here that have no idea what they're talking about. Next, review everything that you've already learned. Right now I'm giving you about 90 days of reading and by the time you're done with all of that is going to just be a mish-mosh information in your head go back to day one start over and do it all again.
5268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][WINK] WINK! Unleash your selfie potential on: August 18, 2017, 05:24:10 PM
My concern is how difficult is it for people to cheat the system and abused? Anytime there's any kind of system that's based on a social network or really anything of that nature you'll going to find people out there that are going to find ways to throw extra traffic at their links, or whatever it is they need to do to abuse the system. I'm actually surprised that the steemit site is it getting more of that type of thing. Is that even possible here is there any kind of security to stop it?
5269  Economy / Services / Re: [INVEST] I Want to invest 0.5 BTC + on: August 18, 2017, 05:14:56 PM
I tell this to a lot of people. Rather than trying to pick a coin to invest in, there are couple of the exchanges in a couple of web sites that are trusted where you can load your Bitcoins out to other people and gain interest on the repay loans. You want to take a look at the terms on each of them, see what the protection is that the website is willing to give you.
5270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Storj (SJCK) vs. Siacoin (SC) - Discussion on: August 18, 2017, 04:46:26 PM
Alright one of them is much easier to use
5271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BCC wasn't enough on: August 18, 2017, 04:18:11 PM
It was an option to make a lot of people happy. The fact is that Bitcoin cash is no different than any other brand new Alt coin. But what it did was two things, it gave people something to focus on while the actual Code changes went through without opposition, and it gave those  that felt that Bitcoin was unsaveable a new place to rest their head.
5272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A on: August 18, 2017, 02:46:50 AM
Here's my question. I'm not asking you to reveal the location, but if it is possible can you give an idea of how you guys picked it. Obviously, the majority of the Earth is covered in water. So to use a completely random set of coordinates would most likely put the point of the treasure in some random location in the middle of an ocean or in the Arctic or the Antarctic. So in order for you to contain the coordinates to at least a semi populated area you would have had to use you some system. I am just curious how you guys did that and still remain impartial as far as picking the location.
5273  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam Alert ⛔️⛔️⛔️⛔️ Tidex.com on: August 18, 2017, 01:53:31 AM
I looked at your transaction. I would not say at this time per se that you got scammed. It is very possible, but not a sure thing based on just those two facts. The fact is that the address you sent to, ended up with only half a Bitcoin that was then removed and sent to another account. I would hope that they would be scamming with a little bit higher numbers. It might be that they're using the same address organization that a a legit company would use. There was actually a history to that address dating back a little while so I don't know exactly what that means as far as evidence.
5274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think? on: August 17, 2017, 06:20:45 PM
I don't know about anybody else, but between our clients, are special inner circle, and our personal trade, we are moving quite a volume of Bitcoin every week. Are disposable cash, disposable digital cash, and cryptocurrency alone not considering any margins or credit have some pretty high buying power. What some people don't take any consideration, when they imagine some of the things that could be be done with that kind of money, is that once you reach that level you have responsibilities that you never had before.
5275  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How to start selling and buying goods on Marketplace? on: August 16, 2017, 04:46:05 PM
I personally think that you should come out of two different perspectives. I think you should list items here and use a third-party website that operates with Bitcoin there are a couple of them. Now let me correct that, set up your products on the third-party website, and then list those products here with links to the third party website. This does a couple things. As long as you're using a trust third-party website then you gain the trust of that website by the users here.
5276  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Billion dollar project on: August 15, 2017, 06:05:22 PM
No offense but isn't that a great deal of money compared to the gross national product there? I only bring this up because if that's your native country you could do a great amount of change and good with in your own country by simply investing it right there. maybe your project is doing that very thing, I just see that amount of money if it's legitimate as being a very powerful force with in your country.
5277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $2000 to invest? on: August 15, 2017, 05:51:12 PM
It depends on your time frame. With the upward rise of Bitcoin there is no reason whatsoever that you couldn't go all-in with Bitcoin, sit back relax and cash out 6 months later. This might work in the 30-day range , but I wouldn't count on that to happen within 30 days. Beyond that if you were looking for something more short-term.
5278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin supersedes Cash in the near future? on: August 15, 2017, 04:58:45 PM
The last hurdle that currency replacement had watch the fact that not every person had a bank account or a debit account. Over the past 15 years, the US government has ensured that even those that are on government payment plans instead of work based income, have access to their money through an account and through a debit card. Once that happened there was still no reason at all to have cash.
5279  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: need assistance with a charity. Why do so many not raise the necessary funds? on: August 15, 2017, 04:12:18 PM
I know that you're not talking about a local charity, the point is to show you the psychology that you have to take in order for you to make any money with a charity. Rather than do all the collecting yourself you provide a framework so that people can do the fundraising themselves, think of it as an affiliate Association. Give people the tools so that they can spread the word and they can ask for donations for you.
5280  Economy / Speculation / Re: The long tail........of combined market cap on: August 15, 2017, 04:07:47 PM
That's not something that happens with any of these coins, The Ledger itself is wide open but who holds this bag and who holds that bag is not transparent when somebody drops 20 Bitcoins on an exchange, as far as a public View all we know is that that became came tradable money for them they could of turned it into Fiat bolted or they could have bought 10,000 of a much smaller coin.
