5261  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info being silly on: August 19, 2017, 06:25:46 PM
This is some sort of bug on blockchain.info wallet. Can I ask if what character does your private key starts? If it's 52 characters that start with L and K then your public key is compressed, so all you need to do is uncompressed it so that you can get the 51 characters private key which starts with '5'. To uncompress it go to bitaddress.org and download the site, you can see the link below (GitHub repository link), run the site offline, and go to 'Wallet Details' paste your private key that starts with L or K, then get the uncompressed private key that starts with '5'.

hey man, I got it with your help. what is an address to tip you?
That's great dude, hope it helps a lot. Now you can trade your BCC in bittrex.
BTW my BTC address is on my profile, you can click my username, or just simply here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=765632

EDIT: Received it, thanks man. Smiley
5262  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain permanent pending status on: August 19, 2017, 04:08:08 PM
I just try to accelerate your transaction, but there is a big chance that the network will drop your transaction since the transaction fee is too low, and just wish that your transaction will be confirmed by antpool.
5263  Economy / Services / Re: Escrow Service of bL4nkcode (Hero Member) on: August 19, 2017, 01:26:55 PM
Id like to use your service as escrow. I've seen the wallet where to send it to, only how much should I send if I want to give the winner 0.015 btc?

5267  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: blockchain fee on: August 19, 2017, 11:59:27 AM
the bitcoin fee you have to pay depends of the number of bytes of the transaction ( and seems to be independent of the amount of the transaction)
Yes that's right that the transaction fee will depend on the number of bytes on your transaction

but when you perform a sending transaction in blockchain the number of bytes is not displayed so you don't know the number of bytes. So you don't know how much fee you have to pay.
Well that's one of the disadvantages of using blockchain.info wallet and in the end, it might be your fee is too low for the size of the transaction and sometimes it's too huge that's more than the size of the transaction. That's why I'm always recommending using Mycelium wallet because (i) you can see the size of your transaction in terms of bytes, (ii) you can see the size of your transaction fee (per byte) and the estimated time when it will confirm, (iii) you can see the overall transaction fee in terms of (mBTC). The only thing is you can you can't enter your transaction manually, you only have to choose its dynamics fees from priority, normal, economic and low prio but it's still okay for me tho.

Here's some screenshot shot from my mycelium.

5269  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bittrex support the worst ever. on: August 19, 2017, 05:43:36 AM
So first, where do the ETh wallet came from and where do you get that when you mistakenly sent those ETH?, if you are saying it came from bittrex how's that possible since there is no button to get a new eth address on bittrex. And second I guess bittrex interface is enough to you to understand on what and where you have to send the token. Third, there is always a warning message when you click the plus button to see the receiving address, so it's enough you to review and double-check the receiving wallet. And last I guess it's on the first, it's your fault for being careless. But anyways wish you good luck, that bittrex will give back  those coins of yours.
5270  Bitcoin / Press / [2017-08-17]Blockchain Wallet Adds Ethereum Functionality on: August 18, 2017, 05:48:53 AM
On August 17 the popular bitcoin wallet platform, Blockchain, has announced it will be adding support for another digital currency. The Blockchain startup revealed to news.Bitcoin.com the platform would be adding ethereum functionality to its popular consumer wallet.

The startup Blockchain is one of the oldest bitcoin service providers in the industry, founded in 2011. The company has provided over 16 million wallets for bitcoiners across 140 countries.

Blockchain Wallet Adds Ethereum Functionality

Now the firm is adding ethereum to its popular consumer wallet, and users will be able to exchange between both bitcoin and ether through a partnership with Shapeshift. With the addition of ether, the company wants customers to explore a different digital asset while remaining comfortable with the Blockchain wallet security.

“As popularity of Ethereum has grown, so has the desire from our customers to have the option to manage multiple digital assets within their Blockchain wallets,” explains Peter Smith, CEO of Blockchain.

5271  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: how many Signature campaign.. on: August 18, 2017, 03:27:04 AM
Is there any limit to join in signature campaign in bitcointalk?
How many campaign allowed?

The forum itself have no specific rules regarding this. If you mean the ability to join multiple signatures campaign at the same time then no, campaigns usually ask for users to only wear their signatures otherwise they don't get paid but If you mean enrollment into different campaigns using different accounts then, unless you are not spamming, you should be fine.
You're just conveying him that having multiple accounts in different campaign is okay, unless you did it too. And having multiple accounts joined in different campaign spams the forum, how can they do that in a matter of time? Of course they will spam to enable to reach their quota. Roll Eyes

And to OP the answer of your question is no, there's no campaign will do that. You can only join some avatar and personal text campaign unless the campaign you participated allows it.
5272  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Dynamic Fee Bug on: August 18, 2017, 12:39:42 AM
And I encountered also that bug on the previous version I guess 2.8. I can't remember actually but as per mentioned you only have version 2.6.3, so..

You should update your electrum to its latest version which is 2.9.2 if I'm correct, that's the issue of previous updates of electrum.

EDIT: it's 2.9.3 the latest version of electrum

It's doing it on my newly installed Android one as well unless that's regressing back to its previous version?
I actually don't know how there android app works I mean the sending with fees, but in that case you should update the app or use the desktop wallet of electrum if you are experiencing again with that issue better to report it,  the link was posted above by HCP or here https://github.com/spesmilo/electrum/issues
5273  Economy / Services / Re: rename apk file on: August 18, 2017, 12:10:50 AM
I missed my Android days because of this post where everyday Im doing some modifications of SystemUi (signal icons, data, wifi, toggles) etc, Frameworks (batteries, percentage etc), icons (name, handler modifications etc). Yes it's possible and I think right now it's more easier than in the past where the most common tool used was decompiling and it needs only PC. In ICON change you just extract the .apk file and find the icon location (sometimes at framework res folder) and extract it again then signed it.

Ok let's go now to easy method. Heard of APKTOOL? Search it as lots of instructions where already available in the net compare to the time Im doing modifications. You can do ICON and NAME change there and not just that. Just give it a check.

This is right, since I'm doing this also before as a hobby, I tell you that your phone is at risk and it can be boot loop, but of course you need to backup first before doing anything stupid, but you forgot to tell OP, that before you can do that if you are using your Android on modifications, your Android phone must be rooted first.

5276  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How did you know BITCOIN? on: August 17, 2017, 03:40:10 PM
This thread belongs to Bitcoin discussion indeed. And I guess most people here are lucky enough since you encountered Bitcoin on earlier years while me that was just on  December 2015 and the price I guess was on 300-400 something but never bought since I'm just a teenager like you that year and also a student, I just research and came to this forum on early 2016 and now well, Bitcoin is really big thing for me.
5277  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain phone wallet on: August 17, 2017, 03:24:43 PM
I'm not familiar with the passcode thing in blockchain wallet in Android or even on IOS, only the pin is required on every time you want to open the app, maybe they just misread it. Try to input their pin on the passcode input box if it functions.
If not then it's time to ask their support about that issue I think it's a bug from their wallet since this wallet is full of bugs.

5279  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can you push my Stuck USDT (bitcoin based) for a fee ? on: August 17, 2017, 01:32:13 AM
Hi,
I tried numerous times on viabtc, but no chance to get through.

Can you offer this service for a fee ?

Do you mind posting your transaction ID here so people will try to push your transaction on behalf of you since viabtc resets hourly, and I  will also try to push your transaction since I'm doing it this previous months when the network have huge backlogs.
5280  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is this scam legit or scam? on: August 16, 2017, 11:13:47 PM
I found this website and they have got good offers but is it scam or legit? Huh Huh website called homemining
there is a link to the website:
http://homemining.online/
Please do search on google all reviews regarding of this site and
First, the site doesn't have SSL encryption which is really needed on in all sites that have products to sell with,
And it's really suspicious why they can't afford to buy that since it will not cost much than on what are they selling. Don't be fooled by this site just stay away from them.
