5261  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN FALL 7% IN A MINUTES on: September 03, 2019, 10:41:08 PM
That fall was necessary for bitcoin to rise 7% too and back trading at over $10,000.
per https://coinmarketcap.com/, btc is trading at $10,383.31, its a big increase compared to the price that we've seen in the past few days.

I was right that BTC will eventually fought back up, and here it is now, we are witnessing a good run ad we will probably see this back at $11k again soon enough.

Exactly, that's why people are advising not to panic for a minute here because we all know that Bitcoin has this sort of ability to bounce back after what? 7% drop in a minute? LOL. Was out the whole day and just checking the price and I was not surprised that it suddenly jump above $10,000 again. So I'm sure the OP is very excited to see the current price and will no longer question and doubt how Bitcoin is resilient and can recover after such dropped.
More excitement be felt if BTC will be back again at $11k which likely to happen in the next few days.
Before I sleep, BTC was jus trading at $10,400, now it's already at $10,600, when the market is bullish, nothing is really impossible.

A fall in minutes has been normal in the market, but we don't want to see that, unless we are shorting BTC.
OP should now learn from what he is witnessing now, a possible same scenario in the future should not make him worry anymore.
5262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 on: September 03, 2019, 10:32:39 PM
Fun fact: USA started with 1.35 odds to win the world cup. After their loss to Australia, it went up to 1.45. Yesterday it was 1.60 and now 1.80.
I am watching that too and i am waiting for it to went up to 2.++, is that possible?

US team is so vulnerable now but still they can take it all and hope they will beat Serbia, just don't like the comment of that Serbian coach after that blowout win against the Philippines.

Let's accept that, he is entitled with his own opinion, it's sad but it's true.

Hopefully Philippines can take that as a constructive criticism and they will continue to work hard to prove they can compete in bigger stage like the FIBA world cup. In Fiba Asia, Philippines is one of the best country to watch for, but the competition in the FIBA world is bigger and higher, its just that our current line up is not good enough to compete against one of the top ranking teams in the tournament.

5263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: September 03, 2019, 12:23:38 PM
With that said, I think Blazers should also be in the discussion here, CJ and Lillard are still the top two scoring guards in my opinion.
They will have their time. If Blazers can follow what the Warriors did in adding pieces to their two best backcourt shooters, they will be more dangerous. They badly need some players who can defend well and score at the same time.
That's important, but what improvements they have done so far?
It seems like there's no big movement within the team and they just rely on their best players to still dictate the future of blazers this coming season.
I'm saying they will not have the same success they had in the last playoffs because it's a different west now, a more improve one.

5265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the ICO dead? on: September 02, 2019, 06:31:21 AM
How is it possible for an ICO to give 45,300% returns? Are you sure about your figures? Can anyone confirm this post about the Volume Network ICO? The claimed returns are just insane. If there are such ICOs ongoing now, then it may still be worth the risk to invest in them. Even if we invest in 100 ICOs and get one ICO with 453x return, then that alone is enough to get a positive ROI.
On volume network's ann thread a $30,000 hardcap was mentioned and 3% of their total supply(300 million to be specific) was distributed to the investors. That would mean the price of each coin costs $0.001 and checking the current price of volume network on coingecko and coinmarket cap it's at $0.056 (more than 500x return for those who invested in their sale).
Probably that's one of the most profitable coin this year, but I'm looking at the volume now which is only $180,437 USD, so I can say it's not so special as this is just a small project. If this coins is in Binance, I'm pretty sure it will not reach this high as with bigger volume, it's hard to manipulate its price.

5266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the ICO dead? on: August 30, 2019, 11:05:17 PM
Good thing 2018 bearish market struck the market. That's the best time to see if those successful ICOs back then will survive and will remain on their promise to their investors. Unfortunately, only a few left.

That's the turning point, it stop the possible scams, and it killed the scam projects.
It was good for the market actually, we don't like to continue those ICOs with rampant scam as that would only will negatively affect the future of crypto.

The reaming coins and tokens now from ICO that have survive offers the best opportunity for buyers, I would rather choose these undervalued coins and tokens in ICO than invest in a new one again in IEO, this proves it can survive so this means the future is bright for these coins.
5267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Tokens - How To Get Them? on: August 30, 2019, 12:03:16 PM
The article was posted on Dec 10, 2018, so it's already 8 months after the article posted and there's a lot of things that happened.

In the article, airdrop was stated, yes, you can still get ETH tokens in airdrop but how can you sell it with a worthless value, that's not gonna be attractive as in general the ICO market now is not anymore profitable, so if you want to get tokens by earning it, you need to be more patient as most likely you will get more less valued tokens than the token value you want to earn, some already give up due to that reality.
5268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do You think ICO Investing Is Worse Than Online Gambling on: August 30, 2019, 11:27:40 AM
They are different and they are not comparable actually.
ICO is in line with investing, while gambling is more like in line with entertainment since the profit side is on the gambling operators.

If you like to compare, it should be ICO versus IEO, or other forms of investment within the crypto world.
5269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the ICO dead? on: August 30, 2019, 10:27:41 AM
What I know is that ICO was no dead, there is just an upgrade on its security which is why IEO was created in replacement for it. Even with this changes, scam still exist so we better be more meticulous on choosing which projects are legit.
Scam are everywhere, even the government cannot stop that, but with IEO, those high rate of scams in ICO are lessens, so it's a good solution to bring back a lively crowd sale in the space. ICO is not yet dead of course as we still see a lot of ICO, but the fact that they are not raising money anymore (no literraly), that would say that ICO is not anymore effective as before.
5270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what way bitcoin gets increased usage? on: August 30, 2019, 04:05:52 AM
Already this might have discussed. The growth of bitcoin as well other digital currencies keeps progressing with time. By the time common people too have begun to use cryptocurrencies on their daily life. Compared to the fiat usage, common people using cryptocurrencies were low. When the usage increases what will be the preference of common people. Whether it gets used as investment, gambling asset, trading asset, alternate payment, darkweb usage source.

considering the crypto space currently, Bitcoin is used in all aspect of the things you have mentioned above. People are either investing into it or trading, gambling and using it as an alternative payment option. There are no particular aspect which can be considered as to have the most increased usage.
Everyone may have unique purpose on using bitcoin but we can tell which of the choices OP given are bitcoin is mostly in demand.
Investment and trading does not increase an increase of usage because they are just using bitcoin to gain profit based on the price fluctuation, but when we say of usage, when people likes to gamble and the crypot space offers a lot of gambling sites that are competitive, that way a demand is created.
5271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will BNB reach $50 This Year? on: August 29, 2019, 11:12:50 PM
for this year we will not see BNB grow that high. we are in a market which is not so good right now, even if we expect an increase in prices in the market for this year, it will not be enough to bring BNB at $ 50.
I will go against your prediction, I think BNB is capable of reaching to $50 because it's the most profitable altcoins in the market for this year.
We will see more IEO and we will see more demand on BNB, what is needed for this to happen is the market changes in the following months which we hope it will happen, then we will see BNB will rise as it always rises in the occasion, especially when BTC is pumping.

This month is about to end but BTC has not perform well and so with altcoins, and that's why we are seeing now a red market but we can't expect the smae market we will see months from now, I believe there are positive changes coming.
5272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull run 2019-2020 on: August 29, 2019, 10:27:15 PM
Hold on to your hats folks. BTC dominance near 70%, so alts about explode up, maybe in a month or so.

I don't see any good signs that alts will soar this year, and if that expectations could arise I think there might be hype going to happen. Btc had a better chance to climb higher, but this time we need to consider other coins to develop good momentum.

That will continue to crush altcoins, hopefully the dominant rate will not rise again.
70% is insane, I think that's the highest so far in the last 3 years, BTC is still surviving now despite the price is a little bit bearish but what's gonna happen if people will only focus on BTC, it would be bad for altcoins as they also have real used case in the crypto space.
5273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are ICOs success factors? on: August 29, 2019, 11:40:32 AM
In the early days of ICO especially in 2017, I have invested as I see people are also confident of investing.

But late 2018 to this year, I am not anymore participating in ICO, no promoting it in the bounty campaign, I believe ICO has already lost its popularity and the market is already taken away by exchanges with their IEO platform, we cannot deny that as the facts would tell based on the results of the ICO and IEO when compared, and we've seen lots of successful IEO than ICO this year.
5274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Often Do you Bet on Politics? on: August 29, 2019, 11:30:25 AM
I haven't tried betting on it before, mostly coz I live outside America and I can't find anyone to bet with. I haven't really checked if crypto betting sites hold bets for our elections.

@OP that would have taken guts to bet on Trump in 2016 considering most surveys say Hillary would win. But that really would have made you money had you followed through.

Even I never come cross crypto betting on politics, it is completely new one which I have never seen before. Most of the reviews given to Trump in 2016 were completely negative, but finally, Trump won in the 2016 elections. Betting on Politics is really new one to me.

And do you know what's the opening odds for Trump?his odds was 25/1, and those who bet early will get this line.
https://fortune.com/2016/11/09/donald-trump-president-gamble/

There are big time gamblers who loss in election betting also because they were confident that Trump has no chance of winning.
All is written in the article I shared... so now, it's not if we can find that kind of odds, and we will see another upset again.
5275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what way bitcoin gets increased usage? on: August 28, 2019, 06:32:41 AM
I'm choosing gambling because I am here because of gambling and I believe fiat gamblers will find crypto gambling sites a good site to gamble.
At the current state, crypto gambling sites attracts a lot of gamblers since there is no regulation yet and we can easily play even without KYC.

When the market is not fully regulated yet, crypto will become a safe haven for gamblers who like to bypass the restrictions in their country and although I don't have the complete data, but I believe gambling is one major reason why crypto is growing.
5276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Pundi X - Any store can buy, sell and accept Cryptocurrency on: August 28, 2019, 06:21:31 AM
i agree. pundix team look like give more focus on their product than their token. with xpos and xpass, they offer accepting major crypto and they still can get profit from there.
they need to do marketing strategy to recover their token price.

So what happens if they get a better marketing team? What is the next step?

They need a lot of work to get XPOS accepted to a wider audience.

Agree, for Bitcoin, it has taken more than 7 years to get a good reputation in the market. Yes, they need to work a lot to get more exposure for the XPOS which seems already in some countries XPOS transaction are already taking place.

It's good to invest on this project because it has a result already, unlike other projects that is full of hype.
I call the price now a very undervalued price, at this level, it should be a buying opportunity for the smart and the believers of this project.
For me, as long as they always give updates about the project, the price currently would never made me panic.

This projects needs more time and that's the time we also have to hold.
5277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: August 28, 2019, 06:09:40 AM
If Floyd Mayweather will continue his marathon boxing style, no one could beat him even Manny Pacquiao. It's clear Mayweather is afraid Manny's big punch he knows what will happen to him once he's hit.

That's the style of Floyd, he won't change, it should be Manny here who should focus to improve his spreed so he can catch Floyd.
Floyd is bigger and taller than Manny, so if he still got that speed he showed in their last fight, it would still be the same outcome, Floyd will man and the fight will end up a boring fight, and the rematch will be another disappointment.
5278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: August 27, 2019, 10:57:59 PM
As for Money vs Pac, it's not really about being afraid or what but I think Money is for the money, if you get what I mean. There are negotiations and deals and if the two clicks, there will be a fight but if not we have to accept that it won't happen anymore.

How does he wants the money to be shared? of course that's not equal sharing, it should be him getting a high percentage.
I believe Manny would be willing to agree with that terms as in the last fight that's the sharing, all Manny want now is to fight Maywather and try his best to bet him, that would make him so popular that he can make more money and dictate the sharing in his next fight.

This is a hard mission of Manny but if he can beat Mayweather and chooses to retire, that should stop the discussion of who is the better fighter.
We have no idea on how he is taking the fair share but AFAIK their fight before took time because of this matter. Floyd would always go for a high share and with their fight, we knew it that he had a higher cut than Manny.

As for Manny's share, I don't think that he's willing to take a very low cut where Floyd would declare it. A lower share would be fine for him as long as its considerable but not that too low.

The first fight was actually a 60/40 in favor of Floyd Mayweather according to this source.

And also this tweet,  I find it very interesting on how much money these 2 boxers got per round.

5279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: August 27, 2019, 10:37:47 PM
Theres always a chance for them to team up. The real question is, can KD play the way he did before the injury? I mean that was a major injury right there, most of the player who had a major injury are struggling for recovery and might end up in an early retirement.

That's not good, KD already had Irving and if he comes back playing his old self, they had a chance to win championships.
KD leave Warriors because he don't want to play with a superteam, he wanted to prove again in another team and Him and Irving are like Lebron and Irving in the Cleveland days and I think Durant is even better.
5280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is IEO Profitable than ICO's? on: August 27, 2019, 06:39:28 AM
Maybe in the beginning it was like that. Now, between the IEO and the ICO the differences are insignificant. Just different names. And that’s all.
You are not looking what's the real situation here.

There is a big difference because on the two crowd sale platform, they are going in different direction.
ICO is going down, wile IEO is going up, that's the reality now.
Tell me an ICO that is successful this year and let's compare that to the success of IEO.
