5261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No other currency on: October 14, 2019, 04:14:12 PM
In my opinion, there would be not much change for Bitcoin. Because I think the other cryptocurrencies does not effect the Bitcoin price. So, I think Bitcoin could be the same of now.
5262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why don't US gov buy a trillion worth of bitcoin? on: October 14, 2019, 04:07:48 PM
I don't think the U.S. doesn't see that the future of fiat money is going to be replaced by digital money. I believe that the U.S. government have a stash of Bitcoin. I think the reason they don't like Bitcoin is that they don't want Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency to replace USD.
5263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can there be some Bitcoin Central Agency in future? on: October 14, 2019, 03:59:54 PM
People often tend to say that Bitcoin is a P2P currency based on the trust between two people. However it's obvious that these days scams are on rapid rise while governments are generally not providing any legal security to those who are involved in this. So do you think there can be some central Bitcoin Authority represented by various people who can become jury in such cases of dispute? I think this can also increase adoption as people can trust btc more. Also even countries would feel safer as such an authority can conyrol certain malpractices

I liked the way you think. If there was a control system for the scammers, scam projects etc. , it could be very beneficial. But I regret to say that a control system like you say contradicts the Bitcoin's decentralized nature.
5264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Stress and Happiness on: October 14, 2019, 03:52:30 PM

In my almost four years of getting involved (just an ordinary holder and part-time trader, nothing so great actually), I am so sure that Bitcoin can be a major source of stress especially if you bought them at a higher price and then the price made some slide. Now, I am not saying that it is Bitcoin's fault because stress in the first place depends a lot on our perception and how we are managing it. But definitely, we can categorize as a stressor at some degree.

On the other hand, Bitcoin can also be the source of "happiness" especially when the coin is having a great time jumping upwards. Certainly, there can be euphoria if in 2020 Bitcoin can go higher that its 2017 ATH. Bitcoin is known for extreme volatility and it can go from one side to the other in matter of hours and days.

No wonder that Steve Wozniak the Apple co-founder sold his bitcoin because riding the roller coaster stressed him out.

How do you manage any possible stress coming from Bitcoin's volatility?

I don't buy Bitcoin from a high price. Instead, I prefer buying when it is far away from a high price. After that, I just store my Bitcoin and wait. In my opinion, patience is the key
thing in this market.

yerinde bi karardır bence. gizlilik temalı coinler kara para aklamaya çok uygun. merkezi borsalarda işlem görmesi çok saçma olur. onlar için merkeziyetsiz borsalar olmalı.

inşaat şirketlerini kurtarmak vatandaşı batırmak olur. zaten inşaat yüzünden bu haldeyiz. artık teknolojik gelişmelere önem vermemiz gerekiyorken yapılan şeylere bakın.
5267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if you can have a dinner with Mr Satoshi on: October 13, 2019, 03:20:39 PM
If I can have a dinner with the inventor of Bitcoin, I would definitely ask why he/she doesn't want to show up and let people know who he/she is. That is the thing that many people wonder the most, I think.
5268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - Store of Value or Method of Payment on: October 13, 2019, 03:13:22 PM
I think people prefer both of them. Some people prefer using Bitcoin as an investment and don't want to use it like fiat money much. Some people don't see Bitcoin as investment and they just want to use it on activities like shopping etc. . By the way, I prefer using it both ways. Smiley
5269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 10 Years From Now on: October 13, 2019, 03:03:43 PM
Bitcoin has flourished on a large scale since it entered the crypto market ten years ago. It is at the top and the most known crypto now. Considering that we live in technology era and it evolves fast, I think Bitcoin will be one of the most valuable currencies in the world 10 years from now.
5270  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC To 100K$ by 2025 on: October 13, 2019, 02:54:22 PM
My research show BTC can hit 100K$ by 2025, What I noticed is Most people sell Their Bitcoin for 10$ Profit, they dont hold btc and they sell it for 10$ or 20$ profit, these people will never get rich.

You say that Bitcoin can hit 100k dollars by 2025 but I think that Bitcoin can reach a value between 50k and 100k dollars. These are just predictions. So we can't be 100% sure about what is going to happen I am afraid. On the other hand, I also don't give much chance about getting rich for people who tries to make profit with small money.

5273  Local / Bitcoin Haberleri / Re: Dünkü Ralliye Rağmen Bitcoin Hala Düşüş Gösterebilir on: October 11, 2019, 04:29:23 PM
Tekrar düşüşün başlaması biraz fazla erken olmadı mı sanki. Daha yeni bir yükseliş evresine girmişti ve en az 9 bin doları görür diye tahmin yürütürken bir anda düşüş trendi başladı yine.
5274  Local / Bitcoin Haberleri / Re: Bakkt’ın Bitcoin Hacmi Yükseliyor! on: October 11, 2019, 04:18:05 PM
5275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UNICEF is now accepting donations in Bitcoin and 8 altcoins on: October 09, 2019, 03:05:34 PM
This is good news for the market. UNICEF is one of the biggest foundations that aims to help children that are in need of help. Bitcoin and the other 8 altcoins will be used for a very good purpose thanks to UNICEF.
5276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin market dominance rising fast? on: October 09, 2019, 03:01:36 PM
Over the past months, Bitcoin has been rising in market dominance at a fast pace. Altcoins have been on a constant decline in price ever since the bear market began back in 2018. They've been the ones which suffered the most, while Bitcoin has obtained greater prominence within the crypto market.

Which is why, it wonder me wonder why Bitcoin's market dominance have been rising so fast? What could be the cause of this? Will altcoins die soon, as a result of Bitcoin dominating the whole market? Or will they still survive?

So far, Bitcoin has gained the attention of people within the mainstream world, especially since it's one of the most limited cryptocurrencies in supply with an outstanding development team. The Lightning Network is its most interesting feature yet, leaving many wondering if it will render altcoins obsolete. If this indeed happens, then Bitcoin would effectively centralize the whole crypto market. What are your thoughts about this? Huh

First of all, Bitcoin is the oldest and the most popular cryptocurrency in the market. Bitcoin has Lightning Network and it speeds up the payment transactions in places that Bitcoin is used as a payment option. And of course, Bitcoin is the most valuable crypto for a long time.
5277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Fully Decentralized World is Possible? on: October 09, 2019, 02:43:39 PM
Can we truly have a fully decentralized system? For example, we control our own money, properties, internet etc. If we can, how can we achieve this and what obstacles can we face? I want to control my money and I don't want my government to control what I see on the internet. There are ways of overcoming some of these but the whole internet is coming from the ISPs. We may have a satellite(Elon Musk) for internet which makes the decentralization easier for us.

I think it is not possible. In my opinion, governments will decide to make their own digital fiat money. Governments won't be willing to make their currency a volatile and uncontrollable cryptocurrency I think.
5278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cryptocurrency is better than fiat currency? on: October 09, 2019, 02:38:58 PM
I think in this modern age the question of “which currency should I own?” is something a lot of people that I know ask themselves when it comes to purchasing currency. There are a lot of choices to choose from such as US Dollars, Chinese RMB, Japanese Yen and many more, those are mainly fiat currencies.  However, all those currencies stated are all controlled by banks that regulate their value and are heavily affected by financial crashes such as the one in 2008. As a result sometime after the financial crash of 2008, Cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum were created in order to have a currency that isn’t regulated by the banks and relies on how much trust we put into its value. Here are some reasons why Cryptocurrencies are better than fiat currency.

1. Cryptocurrencies are now becoming more accepted as a means of trade worldwide.
A few years after the introduction of Cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, people around the world are starting to see Cryptocurrencies as a trustworthy means of transaction which means that you can go to most countries which basic Internet infrastructure and do business transactions using your Crypto Wallet whether a digital one or a physical one which means that you don’t need to call your bank in order to make your account accessible to when you go to other countries as Crypto Wallets are accepted anywhere where Cryptocurrency transactions are being made.

2. Cryptocurrencies have top-notch security and cannot be easily fooled
Cryptocurrencies use blockchain technology in order to make sure that there are no inconsistencies when it comes to transactions. If there are any inconsistencies with the transaction, the blockchain will reject the transaction and your money will still be in your Crypto Wallet.

3. Cryptocurrency transactions are secure transactions
As stated earlier, Cryptocurrencies have top-notch security using blockchain technology. They also keep all transactions on record anonymous as the only person who knows their Crypto Wallet Address is yourself and wherever you post your address link to.  You can keep generating new addresses if your previous Address is compromised.

I agree with your opinions about this important subject. Cryptocurrencies have new generation technologies. They have stronger security systems compared to fiat money. Cryptocurrencies (especially Bitcoin) are used more often for trading every day.
5279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Incorect price on Coinmarketcap.com on: October 08, 2019, 01:32:00 PM
I wonder why CoinMarketCap does that. They have so many users and popular among people. It is interesting to see that CoinMarketCap gives false information, despite being used actively every day.
5280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a scam? What to do next. on: October 08, 2019, 01:26:40 PM
So okay, this story didn't happen to me. It happened to a friend (let's call him Bob) of a friend (I will call him Sam).

Bob came to me asking is this a scam and is it legal. Bob doesn't know much about bitcoins and crypto, Sam even less.
Sam somehow got in contact with people who offers to open an account and invest into crypto. These people guaranteed a lot of profit. Sam paid 500 EUR at first and other two times a 2000 EUR.
What is interesting, that these people calling him to invest more. But he has an app (I don't know what app, because I heard it from Bob and he doesn't know either) which shows that Sam has doubled his investment (9000 EUR), but he cannot withdraw it now and these people (from Russia) are calling and rushing him to invest even more.

Bob asked me about that, I said that this is some nonsense. There shouldn't be people calling you and asking to transfer money. All is too fishy.

What should Sam do? Will the police help?

It seems to me that it is definitely a scam. My guess is that the people your friend contacts are trying to attract your friend into their lie. They will most probably stole all of your friend's money, when he sends them more.
