5262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government aid being scammed. If the same had happened through bitcoin? on: September 12, 2020, 10:01:38 AM
Blockchain would provide a ton of transparency to the inner workings of government, but that's also exactly what government doesn't want since they thrive off of corruption and in efficiency. So I wouldn't ever expect any such things any time soon. At best, a trendy micro nation might do something like that but even that I think is unlikely.

The government wants secret things and not exposure, this is the reason that many don't want to adopt blockchain so far. They want expose the public dealings but they don't want things in government houses to be known. For them it is better that way, to keep certain things secret except when it is important to bring it to public. But the modern day life with blockchain is about open administration.
5263  Other / Politics & Society / Re: A new kind of colonialism is called neocolonialism. on: September 11, 2020, 03:28:46 PM
colonisation is not the big fear its presented as

corporatisation is
many governments are outsourcing public services to private businesses and causing the private businesses to become stronger while weakening the powers of government.

many public services end up costing more tax money but end up offering less actual services to the public. and these private businesses then end up having clauses where the cost to break the contract outweighs any savings the government treasury could make by finding other vendors.

EG imagine a police stations IT that is secured and upgraded by a private contract. if the state governors decided to stop the contract. that private company not only sues the state. but also takes out its IT meaning the criminal records data. leaving the police with just a notepad and pen system.

IBM has taking over local council and police IT systems for some area's meaning. they pretty much run everything. yep that includes the wage budget for council workers and police. this has caused less police officers and more voluntary 'community support officers'

elderly care was al public service. now there are more private healthcare facilities which have doubled the cost of being cared for, while offering less services.

im not worried about the <1% migrant 'colonisation' but i am concerned about the prvatisation of things our tax money suppose to pay for as thats the real colonisation. france has many 'services' that are running in the UK meaning that france is more of a threat then the middleeast immigrants

Buddy go and check, you realize to your surprise that most privatization done fall in the hands of people in government and their friends friends. This is why people pay more and get less for the service and nobody blinks an eye on that.
5264  Other / Politics & Society / A new kind of colonialism is called neocolonialism. on: September 11, 2020, 01:50:41 PM
Neocolonialism is the recent emergence from colonialism. I want to agree that colonialism is a direct or physical domination of people especially against there will, knowing or unknowingly consenting or forcefully. But neocolonialism has nothing to do with physical presence or consenting as it may be, it involves either dependency (knowingly or not).

Neocolonialism involves the use of economic, political, cultural, or other pressures to control or influence other countries, especially former dependencies or the control or domination by a powerful country over weaker ones (especially former colonies) by the use of economic pressure, political suppression and cultural dominance.
The above explains neocolonialism as it relates to colony and her colonial country.

However, neocolonialism has gone pass such simple narrative. Some developed countries too are facing this neocolonialism and other less developed countries are facing it with countries that have colonized them and also in the hands of world agencies like IMF, WHO, UNO, UNESCO etc. when they solicit for loan and other support because they give condition either to provide a certain percentage of manpower/professionals or condition for security.

Most of the third world countries are being recolonized by this neocolonialism because they are solely dependent on technologically advanced countries for almost every aspect of life and they are also getting alculrated as they are jettisoning their own culture and tradition for cultures new to their system even when the home culture isn't outdated or against natural
justice.

Neocolonialism as I said earlier is not only on the countries that are technogically less developed. Hence, as far there is trading, buying and selling , a developed nation can also be a victim of neocolonialism by having spy in their midst and agent maybe

There is a super state that controls most of the world, and they appoint the governments of countries to benefit themselves.

That is right and it is called neocolonialism.

They benefit themselves at the expense of the country as a whole and the masses suffer it more.

Neocolonialism is not a symbiotic relationship but a master / servant relationship.

.

This is one way that it can also happen
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5271464.msg55078849#msg55078849

Ways to know A country under the neocolonialism agenda are:

1. When a country can't process there raw material into any kind of utility goods they desire and also make use of its byproducts too.
Countries that fall on this category are highly facing neocolonialism because they are going to be majorly an exporting country and that means they can't grow in GDP. They can't generate good foreign reserve. They can't grow there home industry and employment will be very high leading to many vices, unrest, economic and political instability.

2. Country that budget more percentage to recurrent expenditure/salaries rather than capital expenditure/projects. When you don't develop your roads, electricity, hospitals and other amenities, you don't grow economically and otherwise.

3. If your country travel alot to other countries. By doing this, they create jobs for the sectors being visited while providing foreign exchange for them and strengthing their currency because you have to convert to their currency, and that's making its demand higher.

4. When the country is surviving on loan from world organizations and countries. No country grows by servicing debt always.

5. A country that suffers from brain drain. This is because her best heads are scrabbling for greener pasture elsewhere because they are getting more incentive.

6.When your country is highly a consuming nation: You only get utility (by the way, utility in economies is when goods get to consumer as finished product or ready for consumption goods) when you transport raw material elsewhere for finished goods.

7.When your country is home to dumping of used technologies and products. Because the country can't produce them but desire them as means of survival.

8.When your country is always devaluing the currency. This is a sure signal because you get the advise that when you devalue, it takes care of inflation etc but that can work for a producing country not a dependent country.

Solution for running out of dependency and neocolonialism

1.Education: This is foundation to all because everything starts at this level which is the basis. It includes formal and informal

2. Develop your technology: This is also important because you can build, construct and maintain your amenities yourself and save cost, reduce expatriates.

3. Strive to become a manufacturing country: This is important to build a master/master trade relationship and not master/servant. You have equal bargaining and exchange power.

4. Zero tolerance for corruption: As always, a corrupt country will always be a retrogressing country.
5265  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Corrupt prostitutions tool -government- on: September 11, 2020, 04:43:28 AM

+ Privatization:here they give exclusive right to a person -yeah you correct their person- exclusive rights on a very useful product, to be the sole distributor, manufacturer of it even if they are not capable, the citizens has no option than to buy from there person, this fetch them blocks of money and killing another rising man's business, zeal.

Lives becomes hard/a nightmare for citizens under a corrupt leadership.

They also call deregulation . This is when the government say they want to hands off from the regulation and subsidy they where hitter to doing as a duty for the citizenry to enjoy or pay for certain amenities at a bit lower price in percentage from what is the "suppose real price".

They preach that when the economy runs on deregulation that the people will benefit more because to them, the monies used to service those amenities would be freed up for other obligations (but this is not true for third world countries, because these monies would end up in their private accounts or that of their cronies at the end of it all).

They preach that when the economy runs in a free market and prices would be determined by international standard or private people (as in privatization) the masses suffer because price will keep going up as vats keep rising.

Corruption is a challenge to the growth of third world countries.

There is a super state that controls most of the world, and they appoint the governments of countries to benefit themselves.

That is right and it is called neocolonialism.

They benefit themselves at the expense of the country as a whole and the masses suffer it more.

It is still commendable if the Government will just reach out for help to the community especially those smaller businesses so everyone will be given a chance to grow and be successfull in each endeavour, rather than advocates collectivism for their own good. I believe that if we help each other, the whole economy will grow fast and its a great pride of a certain Country.

I have you to understand that I believe that whatever kind of economic system in place in the country or world in general, we are still going to realize people with be equal in economic status. Some will have more than others and the reason is strength is not same, bonuses will come in different kinds of work we do. And even government give loan, some will squander theirs while others will be able to grow theirs. We can only practice the one better for the people well being.

Today it has crossed the $10500 margin. Following is the growth with rest of the altcoins. It can be considered as the moment to buy for a bigger profiting at the earliest.

With a little retracement now and price at $10399. It is beginning to form for a bull on a longtime trade. The recovery of bitcoin from below $10,000 last week was fast. Though the market has been slowly going up but I expect a major move by the new week.

because some countries don't really witness the out come of the disease called corona virus, and some leaders of the country impose the existence of the disease to the country, i find out that it was an avenue for politician to embzzle funds,Today many countries are suffering for economy shortage because of politician's in name of corona virus.

The simple reason it wasn't felt as such in African country is because Africans are already use to malaria and associated syndrome of malaria related disease. So it was not a major issue for African society against the WHO prediction that Africans were going to be the worst hit and that humans corpses were going to be scattered on the African soil. To tell us that it is related to malaria, most of the survivals have revealed that they were treated with antimalarial related drugs. Also, the African temperature, body system and traditional way of taking care of their health challenge are helpful.

how can people survive without the help or aid of government

Their help is or should be on the opportunities laying on the internet, like you and I and many more have identified either cryptocurrency business or its related business, online forex trading, crypto trading.
They have to leave traditional ways of earning money and change, metaphors into digital business where they have sole control of their financial lifes. Many people are still relying on 8am - 5pm (or more into the night kind of jobs) which have fast disappeared. Their succour is definitely on the internet. They can learn how to use internet facilities just as they  learned about the intricacies of their jobs (plus the fraud they also learned on it to embezzle public money Grin).

Charity: people supposed to be give items to people in the name of palliatives especially those that lost their works and less privilege people, after the tension of covid19 as it has subsides, people need helping hands because many people are suffering in rural communities, I couldn't believe myself base on what I saw yesterday, that people out there can't afford a daily meals because of lack of jobs.
Make a donation as your hobby to serve life's because people needs your gift.

It is an opportunity for people at the top to keep embezzling.
International organizations and individuals plus institutions like banks have been making donations.

I agree on this naked contact. It can make a baby boy have erection while suckling. I have noticed that in babies.

I only think the best way of solving this problem is electing young leaders in the system that feels the pain of her citizen.

I have thought about that myself, as one of the solution but do you know the kind of money that these corrupt politicians disburse around during electionery for lobbying and bribe to delegates, voters etc. The young ones can not afford the financial challenges to with stand a politician who has been stealing money from government all his or herlife.

Do you know that many politicians sell their choice properties, lands included just to rig themselves into power.

When they sell these land, they would want to get back what they spent for the election first before thinking of how to be productive in office and before you say jack, tenure has been completed and another comes and go, they keep circling like that.

The solution for me is to demonitize the election and put a very little and reasonable limit of money to spend during the time of the election in the constitution

You mean treatment right?
Yes, medical tourism.

The problem with the health care system in Africa starts from the education sector, that sector is 'poor' in many parts of Africa, with inadequate learning facilities/equipments for students studying to be doctors, this negligence by the government later comes back to affect the health system, when doctors aren't qualitfied as much as they should be. The wealthy (mostly the politicians) hence have to seek better medical care in the western world, whilst the doctors who can afford to go for more specialization abroad, leave the shores of Africa to the West, to gain more experience, afterwards which many of them never return, but end up practicing abroad. This circle continues this way and African countries lose their best hands to the west due to underdevelopment, while their health care system never

About African government or country, I don't put blame on the citizen or student at first. I blame the people that the mantle of leadership has been given to either by election, quasi election, selection, ascension or appointment. These category of people have the political and economic strength given to them in form of contract to guild, lead or control the will of the citizen as a government. That means power and authority are bestowed on government to do what should be reasonably right.

My point is, I'm blaming the African government for ills in the African medical health system and failure in governance in general.

I hold always strong and buy more.

I hodl but I also sell to buy back if I see a sharp drop. A drop is good for profit if you see it. Bitcoin drop has been speculated before now so if you  dropped then, you could make profit while waiting to buy again.
5279  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Politics and health care in Africa on: September 07, 2020, 04:27:14 PM
The biggest and worst reason is the Corruption.

I am not living in Africa but I think that this is a regular situation in many countries in the continent.

Yes is corruption. The challenge in Africa is that they have not been able to sentence outcome government to jail because of the inequality of law in the African setting. This is unfortunate in all angle.
5280  Other / Politics & Society / Politics and health care in Africa on: September 07, 2020, 02:45:17 PM
As flight seem to have gradually resumed It is not hidden that African "rulers" and political office holders especially from West Africa, go for medical terrorism (edit: tourism, sorry guys) to other continent for checkups and treatment. They are the major patronizers of these flights.

Some of these countries have the resources to better the health care system of their zone but have not thought it fit to do the needful.

I have identified the reasons that this calamity has befall the African health care system as :

1. Low budget to Health system
: I mean this says it all. Most African government pay leap service to budget to health care. In fact, generally, they seem to be aloof to the functions of budgetary itself as some budget don't start running or operational by the identified calendar year , from January to December. This is why they would have very low budget to health sector. Mali for example has a very low budget for health and that is the reason hee health sector ranks the worst Africa. South Africa and Rwanda are topping in best talking about Africa.

2. Politics/decision: Obviously, health care issues have not been a top priority in the discuss of many Africa Country's Parliament

3.Poor Leadership and Management: Almost every aspect of Africa section is ill managed. People in charge are lackadaisical, they don't handle and treat facilities properly.

4.Corruption: If I don't single this point, corruption in a single file, then it means I'm not living in Africa  Grin Corruption is a big problem not only in Africa but in other continent. Any country that swims in corruption isn't going to move forward because corruption is a bane to progress.
Here corruption involves diverting even the little budget made for health sector to personal property.

Advise: If Africa and indeed West Africa moves away from corruption, more progress will be achieved.
