5261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sell your altcoins and tokens TODAY, save yourself the frustration on: December 31, 2019, 05:50:35 AM
Damn these thread was right since it was written nearly three months ago, if im listen and consider it, i might save some cents of my money! and i was able to buy more if i buy those altcoins in todays price. But its too late already i'm done selling despite losing some of its value. I hoping that in 2020 it will be more favorable market condition to all of us so that we can get back our losses.

A lot of the investment experts tell us not to get emotionally attached to the assets in which we invest in. Most of the times, the investors are reluctant to sell a particular asset at a loss. They hope that sooner or later, it will recover at least some of the value and they will be able to sell at break even prices. But in 90% of the cases, such a recovery never occurs and the investor ends up losing all of his investment.

If you buy exchange tokens like BNB and ecxx you can profit during bear and bull markets.

LOL... have you checked the BNB charts lately? It's value has gone down from $38 per coin (June 2019) to $14 as of now. During the last two months, BNB prices have fallen by more than 30%. If you check my previous posts on BNB, you can find that I have always stated that BNB is an over-priced coin. My statement has been confirmed by the recent price movements. And IMO, the worst is not yet over for BNB. It will continue to decline for some more time.

Quota system and this Kolpak both real enemies of South African cricket they have to work on this as they are losing too many good players which are hurting them in recently.

Vernon Philander is a direct beneficiary of the quota system. He was selected ahead of an in-form Kyle Abbott during the semi-final of the 2015 CWC, just because of the quota system. The captain (AB de Villiers) had open fights with the selectors, due to this decision. A lot of controversy was generated from this incident and Abbott retired from international cricket and secured a Kolpak deal with Hampshire. But the biggest blow to South African cricket happened when AB de Villiers quit international cricket.

Now after all this controversy, isn't it ironical that Philander himself secured a Kolpak deal? I don't know whether South Africa can lose any more of their experienced players to Kolpak. During the last decade or so, they have lost more than 50 of their top players.
5264  Economy / Economics / Re: what will happens if everyone has own currency, doesn't a bad for Economics ? on: December 30, 2019, 12:23:19 PM
We should be having a single uniform currency across the globe. A few hundred years back, each of the city states had their own currencies, because one city was isolated from the other. But now technology has made world smaller and you can travel from any part of the globe to the other in less than 24-hours. Under these circumstances, there is no point in having so many different currencies.
5265  Economy / Economics / Re: Can not believe 5 years ago you could of bought one whole bitcoin for this much! on: December 30, 2019, 12:11:44 PM
2017 was the year when I purchased my first Bitcoins. Back then, I got my BTC for $900 per coin. So I can also say that three years back, I got Bitcoin for very cheap rates. But is that really surprising? It is a general rule that early adopters gain from the investment in any new asset. The same BTC, which I got for $900 was trading at $0.10 per coin in 2011.
5266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 30, 2019, 12:05:55 PM
How can you blame a single player for the bad performance of the majority of the team? Completely disagree. South Africa outclassed them plain and simple. Philander was awesome.

LOL... Philander was awesome.. and he has gone Kolpak now. From next month onward, he will be representing Somerset in English county championship instead of the South African national team. BTW, I heard that Dwaine Pretorius received a similar Kolpak deal from Nottinghamshire. But for some unknown reason, he rejected it and chose to stick with the Proteas.
5267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Bitcoin never reaches a new ATH? on: December 30, 2019, 07:13:31 AM
No matter how much bitter it sounds, my take is that the users need to seriously think about a scenario in which the Bitcoin exchange rates remain at the current level for an extended period. A lot of the users still live on dreamland far away from reality, and they think that what happened in 2013 and 2017 is going to repeat again and again. What they fail to remember is the fact that the exchange rates went down by 80% in 2014-16, and again another 85% during 2018.
5268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which is the most profitable alt-coin for mining? on: December 30, 2019, 06:59:15 AM
Eth have higher price and get little reward for mining and I think choose with altcoin have lower price but can receive higher reward for every mining transaction day, looking with ethereum maybe we need five months later to get profit with our mining tools but for other coin have lower price become faster to get profit and get back our money have buying mining tools.

ETH is one of the more stable altcoins out there and that is why a lot of miners prefer that coin despite low returns. You can opt for lesser known cryptocurrencies such as Zcash or Vertcoin, but these coins are highly volatile and there is a real chance that by the time you receive the mining reward, the exchange rate may be much lower than the current rates. PoS coins represent another option, but these coins are even more volatile.
5269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: my 38 Eth been stolen, any way to get it back...? on: December 30, 2019, 06:52:09 AM
The problem here is that the hackers may not immediately spend these coins. They will wait for a few months, or even years before cashing them out. And it may not be possible to take any legal action before they move their coins to the exchanges. There are both black hat and white hat service providers available, who will track your stolen coins in return for a reward. But it is up to you to decide whether you want to use their services. Because even if you involve them, there is no guarantee that you will get back your coins.
5270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which is the most profitable alt-coin for mining? on: December 30, 2019, 06:33:52 AM
There are several factors that needs to be considered before you plan to mine a particular altcoin. Apart from the mining reward, you need to calculate the future prices as well. Almost all of the alts have lost value during the past 4-5 months (in the range of 60% to 80%), and you need to take this in to account during ROI calculations, before making plans for mining.
5271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Cash the real Bitcoin? on: December 30, 2019, 06:26:48 AM
First of all, I don't have a very good opinion about Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and its promoters (especially Roger Ver, Jihan Wu.etc). But at the same time, I have to agree that this particular coin has fared relatively well, compared to some of the other altcoins such as Litecoin and Ethereum. I guess having powerful supporters like Ver helps to maintain a good exchange rate.
5272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra coin alive or dead? on: December 30, 2019, 06:20:00 AM
I have been closely watching statements given by David Marcus and Mark Zuckerberg during the last few months. The impression I get is that they have put the Libra project on hold. Zuckerberg recently said that Libra would not be listed anywhere in the world, unless they get all the necessary permissions from the US regulators. And at the same time, the Libra team is not doing anything to get these permissions. So if you ask me, they have put the project on the freezer (perhaps permanently).
5273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: December 30, 2019, 06:12:51 AM
There seems to be some controversy going on with the Big Bash League (BBL) in Australia. Kevin Roberts (CEO of Cricket Australia) decided to turn down a lucrative offer from a betting company for BBL sponsorship. The reason given was that BBL is a "family focused" tournament and betting firms have no place there. I would agree.... but at the same time, someone need to remind Mr. Roberts that Cricket Australia has a an existing agreement with Bet365, which happens to be one of the largest betting firms in the world. Is he saying that such companies are allowed for test and ODI matches, but not for T20 matches? Something is not right here.
5274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: December 30, 2019, 06:05:20 AM
This has picked up on a big time and everywhere it is going about this news only. This could be a turning point in Pakistan cricket board if such things gets clarified and verified this would put them under huge pressure and ICC can also take action against the board if this has being happening to players.

Some of the sports bodies (such as FIFA and FIBA) have very tough policies against racial and religious discrimination. The ICC is having a more relaxed or lenient approach regarding the same, and therefore I should say that Pakistan is quite lucky. FIFA has handed down 1-year and 2-year bans for just racial abuse by spectators during soccer matches. And I believe that this is much more serious.
5275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: December 27, 2019, 11:53:58 AM
I think no one likes overdose of World cup or annual ICC tournament. if ICC is up for experiment and really thinking about World Cricket then they should take risk on 16-20 team T-20 WC or new territory of T-10 Cricket.

Increasing the number of teams in the CWC is out of question. In the ODI world cup, the number of teams have been reduced to 10 from 16, and in the T20 World Cup, it have been reduced to 12 (I am excluding the "qualifier" phase of the T20 world cup). BCCI/ECB want to reduce this number further and in the near future we may never see the minnows playing in the world cup.

The T10 format is not something that I liked. Some changes are needed to make it an even contest between the bowlers and the batsmen. 60 balls for 11 batsmen is going a bit too far. The batsmen will start smashing from the very first ball, and none of the batting techniques matter in T10. Cricket will become more like baseball.

How in the world is NZ rated 2nd in the test rankings? Australians are decimating them at the moment and I feel Australia deserves a far higher ranking in comparison. So many Australian batsmen rose to the occasion in the ongoing match.

Warner-> Marnus-> Paine-> Smith-> Head! New Zealand players need to play more consistently. Williamson has been out of form since the World Cup. I feel like New Zealand are simply trying to avoid a whitewash at the moment.

Forgot the series win by New Zealand against England? They won the Mount Maunganui test by a massive margin (an innings and 65 runs). Australia deserves higher ranking, and they may eventually get there by mid-2020. But that doesn't mean that NZ is currently over-rated. They have been performing quite consistently with limited resources available.
5277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Indian Super League (ISL) Football match updates, predictions and discussions on: December 26, 2019, 05:00:27 PM
From the beginning the match was in the hands of the GOA team, and this gave Goa three goals by the end of first half. By the time Chennai hasn't made any single goal. The second half was very interesting as Chennai made a quick comeback taking two goals, but one goal in the second half made Goa increase the goal to 4. After hard try chennai managed to reach 3 goals by the end.

I though that it would be a cakewalk for FC Goa. They were ahead by 3-0 after the first half. However, Chennaiyin fought really hard to make it 3-2. Then lack of concentration by the Chennaiyin defenders allowed FCG to increase the lead to 4-2. Now FCG is comfortably topping the table with 21 points, with ATK second at 18 points. Bengaluru FC lost their last match against ATK, and they are at 3rd place with 16.

Not sure, if anyone noticing slow over rate. for quite some time teams keep repeating this. every team delaying overs, same thing happened today in SA vs Eng. first day stump and 7 overs short. ICC need to do something about it. % of fees is not affecting captains at all and teams are not taking this seriously.

10% or 20% fine from the match fees is a joke. If the ICC wants to make sure that the over rate is maintained, then they should penalize by either deducting runs from the side that is responsible for the delay, or award extra runs for the opposite side. Financial penalties have a disproportionately negative impact on smaller teams such as West Indies, while the bigger teams may chose to ignore it.
5279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 26, 2019, 03:29:48 PM
8 overs remaining for today. If South Africa manages to survive, then it will be a huge moral booster for them. A total of somewhere around 300 is going to put a lot of pressure on England. The poor form of Jofra Archer seriously affected the English bowling prospects. And it was surprising to see the English captain (Joe Root) sticking with him. I believe that Root should have given more overs to in form bowlers such as Sam Curran.

Edit: South Africa just lost their 9th wicket. Kagiso Rabada cleaned up by Stuart Broad. South Africa need to survive another 7.2 overs with one wicket remaining (Vernon Philander / Anrich Nortje at crease).

Being a resident of India, I have to say that India holds a lot of promise for the cryptocurrency sector. A population of 1.4 billion, and the vast local IT/ITES industry should have made India the cryptocurrency capital of the world. But the retarded politicians have made sure that such a scenario never happens. Anyone who deals in cryptocurrency is treated like a petty criminal in India. You can check what happened to Harish BV of Unocoin Technologies, after he tried to install one Bitcoin ATM in India.
