5281  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Increase Your Alertness Everytime on: January 08, 2021, 06:35:32 AM
There will be quite a lot of scam giveaways plus 'scam crypto experts' atm, making attempts to scam people
There are already many even without bitcoin ATH goes to this. But definitely it will increase more as btc is keep exploding like this. Even now and then I saw many new post on scam thread about different site of scams. Damn, haha scammers are really like to try every inch of way to get in.

If Bitcoin has a "correction" or drops back down, I'd expect a ton of people claiming Bitcoin has finally died, and promote their altcoin scams. I think its the general life cycle of the cryptocurrency industry.
Waiting for that chance that bitcoin become scam again and dumped. Haha people idea is really simple. When it pumped its being fomo and become trending. When it dumped termed scam will always be present. Bogus, or shady investment.

5282  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammed by Mercatox.com -11.63 ETH on: January 08, 2021, 04:13:10 AM
They have replied of my Last support ticket as below, now its shifted to financial department, lets see if they can solve the issue and let me withdraw my 11.63 ETH equivalent to
12 grand.

Wow that's literally passing to another department is sounds like delaying their time to release your funds. But anyway as long as they are responding don't panic that your funds will be locked there forever. Its still operational so I guess they are just taking time to process it. Mercatox is really not good when it comes to support. But I do hope you can withdraw your funds cause 12k grand is not a small money that can easily let go.
5283  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Year in Review on: January 07, 2021, 11:24:53 AM
How is that not good? Doubling your portfolio in a short span of time is astounding. I do believe that you would achieve more this year. The promos that Binance gave was cool too, because of the new years and Christmas giveaways that they have. I hope you participated in it.

What was your crypto persona then?

I mean sets of trades arent really satisfying for me. Anyway better get something right. I do hope I can able to achieve more this year. My persona was future trader too. But that's not really something compared to others. Yeah Binance has really good my favorite is their flexible savings and launchpool. I remember I was able to get free tokens from launchpool that worth good money.
5284  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Year in Review on: January 07, 2021, 07:28:12 AM
Yes I've seen this. My records are not that good but I was surprise that I was able to did some good trade volumes there. Span of 3years I was able to make my portfolio double and thats a good year for me. I am hoping to make some necessary improvements this year. Thanks to Binance for all the opportunity and profits they gave.

Seeing the details indeed overwhelming. I encourage those users to see your statistic on trading binance platform. Just simply click the title Binance Year In review on the app.
5285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Scammed or did I mess up my ERC20 wallet? on: January 07, 2021, 05:28:34 AM
The other day I either got scammed/hacked or did something to my ERC20 wallet that made it inaccessible.
Its impossible that you can't access it if you are using a non custodial wallet. Since the only needed is the private key or Mnemonics key in order to access the wallet. Cause you can't change the private key forever.

So my question is - did I get scammed (ie contents of my clipboard with the private keys get intercepted by the Telegram chat participant) or is it possible that I inadvertently altered/moved my tokens to a different address via the above site.
Most likely that you've entered your PK through a phishing site where they access your account and transfer your tokens since you said yourself that you didn't do any transaction. You must be careful when dealing with this kind of giving your valuable PK cause one wrong move to give it to a malicious site it's over already.
5286  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Scam]: Fake Uniswap app on: January 07, 2021, 05:18:36 AM
New fake uniswap app here,

I agree with what you guys are saying, That's why we need to be very extra careful nowadays as scammers are everywhere in crypto sphere.

What the hell, this is almost a true replica of uniswap. Thanks for sharing this, the app are almost 100% identical in terms of UI design. I do hope people don't fall on this site. Even with extra careful, sometime people missed it due to the design they used to trade on uniswap. If ever they suddenly used this there is a chance of not noticing its fake due to the similarities of the app.

Damn scammers.
5287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metamask Erc20 token transaction pending for days on: January 07, 2021, 03:02:39 AM
I was trying to save couple bucks at the first but after a week it costs me a more than 20$ Sad. I fixed with that medium article anyway thanks a lot
As much as you wanted to save gas fee. Its inevitable as gas fee is relatively high. The only way you can save on gas fee is to observed the gwei frequently and execute transaction when it got lower. But in trading, its not gonna work if you are into trading cause time constraint is important and there are chance you have no choice but to execute it even the price of gas is high to take advantage of the trades.
5288  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bounty management failure on: January 06, 2021, 08:38:41 AM
I think it would be nice to make a bounty program that focus on spotting/hunting cheaters. A few cents/dollars might help hunters survive the pandemic by doing good for the forum specially those who lost their day job like me. But I am also thinking of possible loopholes to this suggestion so maybe admin and mod is the boss.
So who will sponsor the campaign for finding cheaters? It's not like they will stop from doing these things. Once they are get caught, they will just create account again and do it again. We have some users who are busting them already and reporting so they got banned or have negative trust so no campaigns will ever hired them or let them participate.

Your suggestion isn't necessary for That. Do report them if you spotted them. At least DTs can do something on their wrong doings. Cheaters will never fade here no matter how persistent we are on finding and identifying them.
5289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: zilliqa token swap on: January 06, 2021, 06:42:17 AM
I bought zilliqa in june 2020 .so does this mean they are mainnet zil ,rather than interim erc20 ?
Yes it is if your zilliqa is on the exchanges mentioned by Bitcoin_Arena. However if your zilliqa is on your own non custodial wallet, it will stay as erc20 tokens. Though I'm not sure if the tokens still can be converted into mainnet blockchain cause its passed already the deadline. Maybe better if you asked them directly on telegram

Code:
t.me/zilliqachat
5290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What's your favorite dApp? on: January 06, 2021, 03:33:56 AM
Like yours OP uniswap also is on the list of my favorites. But if you knew Matcha dex, you can also be glad to use it. Its a product from zrx team, it has lesser fee than uniswap and its design and efficiency on trading swaps are totally good. Less fee, with less congestion it could also be a good platform in the future. Take note its from zrx team, there are hearsays as well of potential drops from some prominent users, but since they denied it. Not sure, but of course there could always be changes right? Who knows in the future they decided to create their own tokens.
5291  Economy / Reputation / Re: Who controls Bestchange's account? on: January 05, 2021, 10:23:35 AM
If this is not a corporate account, but an account created only in order to manage the signature campaign (manager's account) then I would like to know who is hiding behind the control screen.
Whether its corporate or not, we should not have any rights to know who is the owner of the accountl like literally he should disclose himself that he is a bestchange  head or any sort of representative cause its gonna be obvious that he is.

What's wrong if a manager becomes a DT1? I know there are some conflict but as far I see bestchange handles some issues about the campaign professionally. Anyway the only one who can response to you is bestchange but he is not necessary to answer your query honestly.
5292  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beware of scammers on behalf of SFP (SafePal) coins on: January 05, 2021, 09:58:55 AM
That good to know that you shared here this fake one OP. I've also participate on the round 1 of this airdrop and were able to get few tokens but due to its early removal didn't have time to do all the task for free SPF tokens.

I'm sure a lot of scammers gonna do all things to have another sort of airdrop cause this one is a huge project that many are so interested.
5293  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Verified Twitter account is being used to promote fake giveaway! on: January 05, 2021, 03:45:23 AM
So those who see the verified account and easily believe it should be more careful. Because now there are a lot of fake accounts, whose main job is how to easily trap and scam newbies.
They are really verified accounts. But the problem here is those who are not aware how flexible Twitter can be. There are some high profile verified accounts that has been used on scamming people. How this is done? Simple, they just editing their account profile and dropping some few post which the original owner has been posted.  Indeed normal followers might considered this as legit seeing the blue check symbol. But the truth is they were just copied and used by scammers.

People should do extra careful when checking some sort of giveaway.
5294  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [EXAMPLE] Why Maker and Taker fee is very important for Traders and Investors on: January 05, 2021, 02:50:21 AM
Centralized exchanges tend to impose exorbitant fees, not sure why, but it's ridiculous.
Depends on the exchange but yeah some of those have insane maker and takers fee.

But in the Uniswap life on dex this isn't comparable to the fees on cex. Cause dex now is hitting up literally huge fees which is more lower on cex.

Me too. Using the Binance p2p and honestly this is best fiat gateway to crypto. OP should consider to use this, many countries supported this peer to peer system.
5295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth season or alt season already? on: January 04, 2021, 07:44:58 AM
Altcoin season already started since bitcoin was doing bullrun, do you know that? doge has been increasing almost 200% since last month.
Maybe it started already for some altcoins but not yet kicking to those low market cap coins that have potential too. Altcoin season will be experienced goes wild when eth surpass its previous ATH. Yeah this is just a glimpse the real fomo and possible altcoin season arr yet to be seen. Im not holding such tokens or coins for now as I'm watching which altcoins are gonna good to enter as some have already been pumped.
5296  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake OnX Airdrop - Phishing SCAM - Portis wallet on: January 04, 2021, 03:34:27 AM
People should be wary of this kind of site. Onx airdrop has been ongoing on some major exchanges, so chances of being used for scam activity is high especially if big exchange like Binance is involved. Airdrops outside their announcement feed must be ignore.

I think people who are into spamming airdrop would mind whether the content is from original project or not as long as they can earn from free airdrop sign up.
5297  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What next after bitcoin ? on: January 04, 2021, 02:45:19 AM
A lot of governments have already taken a positive position about Bitcoin and bitcoin can already be used to exchange USD or gold.
Also, Bitcoin doesn't need the approval of world governments to work

Provided that many have been accepted bitcoin. Probably there are still some countries that would not agree with the majority. Im sure there are still anti crypto countries that will oppose this. Yeah you are right government doesn't need approval for Bitcoin however, people is mandated by the government. So in any case there is provision related to using or trading bitcoin, we will be affected by it no matter how decentralized it is. Let say a country imposed a rule that everyone who trading bitcoin will have a case, well people are definitely gonna hide if they are gonna do it.
5298  Economy / Exchanges / Re: best place to trade BTC on: January 03, 2021, 01:17:06 PM
For now I used Bitforex and Probit exchange, because through this platform I got earned weekly on these two.
Weekly? Can you share how you can earn on this, is it like a passive incentives for traders? Aside from the profits gained from doing spot trading. My best prefer is binance due to its volume and friendly user platform, I guess majority here could suggest to OP the same since most of users there are familiar already. Curious with the weekly gains you are saying about probit and bitforex. Ive used these two before but they don't have much volume especially on their new projects listed.
5299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dydx airdrop! on: January 03, 2021, 05:13:59 AM
Do I have to make a transaction to get airdrop, (currently the price is 25 DAI per transaction), or is it enough just to send 1ETH to the exchange office and return the coins back to my wallet?
You must have excess eth for the gas fee. Yes 25dai is their fee quite high so this is a risky trade for an airdrop but if the value of tokens that might drop to the wallet could have an immense value. Who knows this is still a speculation not really sure about the value and amount of drop it can give, can also have none. But there are plenty of bullish that there will be an airdrop.
5300  Economy / Speculation / Re: Institutions and Banks would want to end this bull run at $66K per BTC on: January 03, 2021, 02:03:06 AM
Your title is totally different from our post. It's more like a  clickbait.
You  haven't talked how and why the banks and institutions want to end the bull ran at $66K
Thats right. But I assume he said it will end on $66k is due to current price now at least doubling the marketcap by 100% from where we are sitting since most new players are probably enter at this price level. I'm quite regretting not holding nay bitcoin at the moment but it's fine, I'm pretty well ready in any case of a dump.

Most of my holdings are altcoins and if ever bitcoin reaches 66k hope it can drag the Altcoin price too.
