5282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ImToken lost mnemonic on: February 25, 2020, 01:10:02 AM
...However something distracted me when creating account and didn't save file with  written mnemonic phrases. My question is " Will i need these to send crypto to another wallet/binance ? "
First, do you still save the private key or keystore+password of your wallet? If yes, it is still no problem and you can back up your mnemonic phrase. Basically, there are several ways to access your imtoken wallet:
1. Using Private Key
If you forgot or lost your PK, you can still access the wallet and then retrieve the PK again by loading it using your mnemonic phrase or Keystore +password.
2. Using the mnemonic phrase
If you lost your mnemonic phrase, you can still be able to access the wallet using your PK or keystore+password and then make a backup of your mnemonic code.
3. Using Keystore and password
You need to use these at once. Noted that you must save the password, if you lost your password, then you can't access using your Keystore.  You can also still access the wallet using a private key or mnemonic phrase.

Special notes:
- As long as you still save and have private key/mnemonic phrase / keystore+password, you are still safe and can access, control, and manage your wallet. But it is better to save those all and make backup to ensure the security.
- If you lose one of them, you can still access, manage and control your wallet using the two others.
- It is important, NEVER give or show your private key, mnemonic phrase, keystore+password to other people even they try to help you. Those are very secret.
- Losing all the data/information means that you lose your wallet.

More completed information, you can read in this article

5283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens when everybody buys the bottom ??? on: February 24, 2020, 11:51:24 PM
Storiqa (STQ) is only one of the coins heading to the end, I mean dead coin.
This project offered a well-packaging project at that moment so that many investors were attracted and trusted in this coin.
Yeah, after its first coming, this could ensure us about how this coin works and how the platform works. However, now this coin is heading to end. After a pretty long trip, this coin is really heading to the end. It is only about $0.000020 USD with an unknown volume in 24 hours. Does it mean that nobody trades this coin?

I was referencing how so many peoples rushed to buy the bottom of the tokens as if it was angels that's gonna pump it lol.
Honestly, we all have to avoid unnecessary risks
Some people are only following the hype and unfortunately, this coin also has many exchanges listing so that many more people can trade this in many more spaces. Yeah, this is always too risky about cryptocurrencies, moreover referring to the coins or projects that really offer uncertain concepts with very high expectations but less power and struggle. STQ can be one of the lessons for us, fortunately, I have sold the STQ from bounty for the first time getting it, so relieved.

Briefly, buying coins at the bottom is not necessarily always bad. This, of course, depends on several important things. True to your words, we must conduct careful and smart research to ensure that the coin at the bottom has a great opportunity to be able to progress and increase its price.

This can be seen from various sides:
- Trading volume every time, whether it is setback or not
- Statistical data based on charts in the market
- The development of how the team manages and monitors the coin; if the team doesn't care then it's better not to be chosen
- As well as the concept of the coin, whether it has a real use case value or not.

5284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rinkeby ERC20 Token mobile wallet? on: February 23, 2020, 11:17:56 PM
Well, actually, MEW may work on any mobile phone. What kind of android you are using right now? Every wallet may need higher tye of android to work well. n this case, you need to make a limit or minimum android type for sure.
But, if you need others that may work and available for Rinkeby, you may try TrustWallet or Jaxx. They are easy enough. I commonly use Trustwallet in my android and it works well.
5285  Other / Meta / Re: [Q & A]√ Ask something about the forum that you do not understand here !!! on: February 23, 2020, 10:46:20 PM
Why did a majority of the users in this community go from being about building on Bitcoin to being about forum stats?
Is that a mistake, sir? Since this is Meta, here is the right place to talk about forum stats. While talking about building Bitcoin, we have another board. By the way, I think people don't go from Bitcoin development. For example, people look very enthusiastic about Bitcoin upgrades.

Will we ever see real useful projects being built for the community here again,
It is a difficult question, sir. You must know that most projects made currently were just about instant profits. The developers don't really care about the quality of the projects but how to gain funds from investors with interesting offers or promotions.
5286  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin ATM's fees and their price rates ? on: February 23, 2020, 10:19:20 PM
I don't think it is a good idea to buy Bitcoin through BTC ATM, it takes higher prices. Moreover, you order another person to buy the Bitcoin. You are better to buy the Bitcoin yourself and just buy it on an exchange. For me, the most trusted exchange is Binance, you can make your account there to start buying some Bitcoin. If you need a cheaper price, you just follow the advice of @xhomerx10 above, buy on coinatmradar.
5287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Assess your gambling addiction level. on: February 23, 2020, 10:09:49 PM
I'm still in control of myself and how I gamble I just continue to innovate so I can come back and recover my losses but I am only allocating a small portion of my gambling because of my work but even when I am on my work those dice sometimes rolls in my mind, I'm not looking to go to the next level because I don't gamble to ruin my life.
That's good way that you just allocate funds in a small portion for gambling and you also can control yourself very well. As long as you can manage everything well, I think that you play gambling properly. But you don't need to think dice or online gambling when you are working on real life. Just focus on your jobs, then play gambling after you have spare time.
5288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: English Premier League Season: 2019/2020 on: February 23, 2020, 10:01:49 PM
It is good news for MU fans that the team has won impressively and now it has a chance to move up to the big 4. Actually, I was a bit surprised that the rising players at the match (won from Watford 3-0), are not star players, but Bruno Fernandes and Mason Greenwood. MU always has promising talented young players, we can see this time for Mason Greenwood as one of them.
5289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you believe Coingecko's Exchange Liquidity rank? on: February 22, 2020, 11:25:21 PM
We know Coinmarketcap lists fake exchanges on the top, they accept fake bot volume in such case which is not honest move!
Very true, a thing that is unfortunate, remembering CMC is very well known and has become a benchmark for this. However, revealing the fact that there are fake volumes (especially on exchange lists) makes us understand that even something big does not avoid "manipulation".

..Coingecko for bringing the real volume exchange on the top rank
Then what about Coingecko? I personally do not 100% believe that they really present real data. Of course, even if for example the manipulation rate is only a few percent.

Sorry, the quality of Coinmarketcap has decreased significantly due to the ads. Fake volumes, price manipulations, and more ...
Really? It makes sense of how the manipulation works. Well, it is clear that everyone needs money and money will change everything and can manipulate many things.

From many answers by the members here, nowadays, CMC has decreasing trust and believes more in Coingecko. But, it doesn't mean that Coingecko serves real data 100%, there may be also some manipulation and fake data although only few percentages. Let's see how the Coingecko will face its chance to take over CMC.
5290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coin for Every Currency on: February 22, 2020, 11:15:35 PM
Will tether do that ever in the future once crypto goes more mainstream? Or govt themselves will create their own currency at the end?
I think it is possible that all countries over the world hold Tether since it is reflecting the dollar itself. Moreover, Tether has a quite stable value that most countries require for a safe currency. But I think some countries will also try to have their own digital currency if cryptocurrency becomes mainstream in the future.
5291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason behind ALTCOINS not bouncing Back on: February 22, 2020, 10:56:48 PM
What altcoins do you mean here? Top altcoins or new fresh altcoins? If you are talking about fresh altcoins, indeed they are not recommended anymore. We all know that most of new altcoins are dumped once they are listed on exchanges. Then later or sooner, they have too cheap values that make investors get big losses. While for top altcoins, I think they are still worth and no problem to follow BTC trend. If you saw the market improvement currently, you must know some top altcoins that have already risen high.
5292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: For those who wears a signature of gamble service campaigns on: February 22, 2020, 10:28:58 PM
Sometimes I do some gamble, and I always prefer to spend the money on the website that are paying me,
Same here. That's a good way to support the owner of your signature campaigns. Once you decide to play on their sites, it means they have a new member with high loyalty. And potentially to stay longer and invite other new members.

I think it's fair and a way to say thanks  Grin
Yes, it is a good way to say thanks. However, even the participants don't do it, it is always fair. They don't work for playing on the sites, but for promoting the gambling sites on this forum. As long as they do all the rules on the signature campaigns properly, it is fair to have the payment.
5293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A game that educates people about Bitcoin on: February 22, 2020, 10:16:34 PM
The target player is not an engineer or an economist, but a person on the street that still believes fiat is good and that we are fine with money controlled by the state.
When you decide to create a game, so the target surely the game lovers and a few people that may be interested in it. This is not a bad idea but I assume it won't involve significant numbers of people. Moreover, not all gamers always try a new game, some of them just play with their favorite games and stuck on them. So, how to handle this fact?
5294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: February 22, 2020, 10:02:21 PM
What's happening with Real Madrid? I'm surprised to see that Real is defeated by Levante, 0-1 today. Even Real has made 19 shots and 7 shots on target but no goal at the end. How bad the performance of Real Madrid today! I don't know why they play very ineffective and wasted lots of opportunities. I think Real needs a new top striker in the next season unless something like this will return.  Undecided
5295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too scared to go for altcoins? on: February 21, 2020, 11:26:51 PM
-snip- they are very responsive to bitcoin movement and their All Time High is very good too, -snip-
Do you think other altcoins not very responsive to bitcoin movement? And how do you determine good or bad ATH?
We know that all altcoins commonly respond quickly related to the improvement of Bitcoin, except stable coins. The simple thing that we can when the Bitcoin value rises, all altcoins usually follow the trend. And regarding the ATH, I think all coins have good ATH, especially top altcoins.
5296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PEOPLE WILL NEVER STOP FALLING FOR SCAM on: February 21, 2020, 11:17:53 PM
Obviously, because they don't want to listen to us and never take advice before investing. I'd think that this is a normal scenario and many people would still fall into the hands of scammers because of their wrong beliefs.
The people who don't really care about advice commonly come from beginners. They are just too confident with their beliefs although they still have a lack of knowledge related to crypto investment/trading. While for experienced ones, they must know that it will be stupid by relying on confidence without deep research and considering people's advice.
5297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't be a hypocrite and admit that you are a gambler on: February 21, 2020, 11:06:32 PM
-snip- I wanna says that life is gamble too. Full of surprise and no one knows the result -snip-
Sorry, I think it is not true to assume "life is a gamble". We know that every religion provides a guide to living properly in the world. And all know that the result of our life will be divided into 2 ending, to "heaven or hell". It is a bit different than the fundamental of gambling, so I think it doesn't include the kinds of gambling because of having a clear direction.
5298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: February 21, 2020, 10:46:54 PM
Atalanta is the biggest surprise this season. They have proven that they can achieve a lot of things this season and it is sad that they are now title challengers for the Serie A. They show that they are "team" and they don't rely on individual players.
Yes. Atalanta showed a great performance this year even if they have no top players there. They are on top 4 on the table of Serie A, and they also have a big chance to go to the next stage of Champions League by collecting 4-1 on the first leg yesterday. Football isn't an individual game, indeed they can do everything if they play solid as a team.
5299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling a threat or fun? on: February 20, 2020, 10:32:30 PM
A threat or fun? The point on how good you can control yourself. @KrisAlex18, you actually have answered in your OP. People who can control themselves can make gambling as a fun source. While people who have less self-control will be threatened addicted to gambling. So, the question should be "how to make people can control their selves?" In my opinion, to have good self-control, someone needs to make a certain strategy such as limit their funds, limit the time to play gambling, aware of the bad impacts of excessive play, or etc.
5300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for legitimate airdrop / giveaway on: February 20, 2020, 09:57:57 PM
Yahoo have launched a airdrop campaign, you can check that. Although I didn't participate in the airdrop, it supposed to be a good one. Here's the link- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5226379.0 This should be a good one since Yahoo is the manager.
Of course, Yahoo is the manager and he must provide a trusted airdrop campaign only.
Regarding the airdrop, it is a simple task and worth maximum: $17.50 by downloading + leaving a review about it. I think you need to consider following it, buddy. We rarely find reliable airdrops nowadays. So, don't miss it!  Wink
