- Split repayments not accepted.
This may be needed in some cases, considering how difficult it is sometimes to send a transaction through LN. I did have a think about that - for 0.0001 I feel it would be getting to splitting hairs for even smaller transactions to then go adding up. Besides, what if four or five transactions are a few Satoshi short? Will people support a flag or scam accusation for a couple of Satoshi? - I *will* open a scam accusation if you don't repay test-net bitcoins that I have loaned you.
I think this is a bit harsh and you might scare off potential users. Testnet faucets already pay more, but that's on-chain, and Testnet coins are never supposed to have any value. Value no. I'm not supplying a faucet of test net BitCoins, they like their main net counterparts are being loaned. I expect them to be returned (plus interest) as agreed. But I will consider what you have said especially given we are trying to encourage new users into the Lightning-network who may feel more comfortable using testnet BitCoins before taking the plunge with real BitCoins. |

I've only just come across this thread as I don't visit meta too often. I'm giving the LN a chance as evidenced by my Timelord2067's Timely Test and Main-neT LighTning Loans to a "T"

main-net BTC 0.0001 loans, test-net BTC 0.001 loans 1% seven days max. thread even though I'm finding the LN very klunky with a lack of connection paths Vs the block-chain broadcasting to the entire network. That said, I'm not interested in signing up for yet another forum elsewhere, but am ok with looking in on more lighting node threads (child boards) here on BCT.
All the channels are currently showing as "closed" which is one of many reasons I want to spread my channels around instead of putting all my eggs into one basket. One major node fails (for what ever reason) and most connections are cut off. |

All the users have an outdated merit count there. Mine is 972 there, which is much lower than now LoyceV has 3600 in BPIP and 3638 in bitcointalk Theymos has 5197 in BPIP and 5236 in bitcointalk and so on. Well, for a free service, I think Vod is doing a terrific job as well as the people giving him a hand behind the scenes. (and even if it were pay per view, I still think it's a great project) |

Where is this so called "Boost Button" located anyway??? I do not see anything by my print button?   (You're welcome)IMO, the 30 day cumulative superbump score is more significant than the individual 30 day superbump score each day (assuming one superbump per day). The 30 day cumulative superbump score will show how easily someone can game the system by bumping many threads at once and waiting 30 days to superbump again.
I'll try it out... A calender month as in every 30 days, or 31? (or 28??)

Dont expect to get a reply from a drive by loan request, like Vod has clearly said in some of his posts. Newbie coming to the forum and casually asking for free money is not new in this forum.  OP needs to get a kick on his bum to shake him back to reality where dreams of getting rich from stealing other people's money is false. True. my brother died recently.and i got all his old files and information for his different accounts, i know he used this forum a lot, is it okay with the rules here if i start using his forum account here myself?
Any clues on who your brother was? Personally, I am of the opinion that the account had changed hands and others would not be doing transactions with who the think they are transacting with. |

It's funny to say that what really got me into Crypto big time was selling Sexcoin on Cryptsy all those years ago. I was clicking the Sexcoin faucet for like a few weeks then I took the coins onto cryptsy exchange to sell and madE like 200 bucks in the pump. That was like a big eye-opener for me and I have never looked back ever since.I really miss those days where coins got pumped to oblivion and we all used to make quite easy money and it was fun. I am too old to post sexy pics of me to earn Sexcoins but if there is another way to earn them, I would love to know how to get hold of a little bag. I should maybe buy some just to hold for posterity, as it was the first coin that actually made me decide to be in Crypto for the long term.
