5281  Economy / Reputation / Re: TRUST ABUSE by DT on: February 28, 2020, 05:23:48 AM
OP removed his negative trust from FortuneJack, which renders the "trust abuse" portion of Lauda's negative trust no longer relevant. They are a decent quality poster and don't deserve to have this negative.
5282  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 27, 2020, 08:04:02 AM
Well looks like Pence will be the person who will run point on the virus outbreak.

We're screwed. But at least he will prey for us.

Pff. What's the worst that could happen?

In all fairness, the "Do Not Touch" is in parentheses, so maybe he thought the sign was just kidding.
5283  Other / Meta / Re: The Objective Standards Guild - Testimonium Libertatem Iustitia on: February 27, 2020, 03:59:39 AM
Is this really the best you can do with the suggested list? If you were being genuine from the bottom of your heart and hand on your heart is it really the best you can come up with?

The primary criteria for being on the TECSHARE shitlist is that they have TS excluded, mutual exclusions are bolded:

SUGGESTED EXCLUSIONS:

~smoothie
~BitcoinEXpress
~Vod
~Foxpup
~ibminer
~TMAN
~Lauda
~Timelord2067
~TheNewAnon135246
~mindrust

~cryptodevil
~suchmoon
~owlcatz
~nutildah
~tmfp
~yahoo62278
~Last of the V8s

~Lutpin
~TwitchySeal
~bob123

~marlboroza
~blurryeyed
~nullius
~JollyGood
~mosprognoz
~DireWolfM14

If you exclude TS, you have bad judgment, and therefore can't have objective standards.
5284  Economy / Reputation / Re: More trust system abuse by Lauda on: February 26, 2020, 04:42:54 PM
I am curious why you aren't expecting Vod to defend his position whatsoever and just defaulting to what Theymos said 5 years ago. A lot has changed in 5 years.

I'm curious why you continue to quote Theymos from five years ago.

How much longer is this community going to tolerate being ripped apart by people like this?

#hypocrite

LOL. TS's comments in this thread and that one are 10 minutes apart.

He waited exactly 10 minutes to engage in hypocrisy. I think that's a new record.

I'm going to have a hard time taking him seriously about anything in the future; so should everybody.
5285  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] kingcasino.io Photoshopped fake team on: February 26, 2020, 04:20:06 PM
There is no need to delete this. It is enough to simply add "Resolved" in the name of the topic and lock it, if you are satisfied with the proof presented by kingcasino.

What kingcasino team did is really weird, so no wonder that first thought was that team is fake.

I agree with this, don't delete the topic. It may not be a scam per se, but locking it might not be a bad idea.

Update the the title of the thread and remove the word "scam", perhaps.

Check it, Not every project is a scam, do something meaningful.

How do these pictures prove this project isn't a scam? Who are these people and why are they wearing fake suits? Why don't they have any sort of social media links on their website?
5287  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] kingcasino.io Photoshopped fake team on: February 25, 2020, 01:38:17 PM
Another good catch. Indeed the pictures are awful, kind of a laughable attempt at making a fake team for what is no doubt a scam project. I'm going to be using that fotoforensics website more often, thanks for including the link.

Its worth pointing out that the OP didn't write up an ANN for the project but is just linking its Telegram airdrop bot -- possibly he collects income from referrals this way. If you look at his recent posts, you can see he does this for a lot of ICOs.

I suspect that something is wrong with the exchange, but I will wait until they officially answer me in support of the exchange for which they blocked me, and hardly anyone will hack my account, it is well protected
do not pay attention to this senile insanity. everywhere they see conspiracies and fraud. Coinsbit exchange has existed for several years. To date, the Coinsbit exchange has more than a million registered users. But nutildah everyone sees some kind of conspiracies and scammers ... this is called paranoia and it is treated with antidepressants.

You are all of the negative trusted accounts commenting here. If someone reviews your post history and compares it with the other accounts commenting in this thread, they can see for themselves that you all always comment in the same threads, those belonging to other loser projects that don't have any sort of organic community because they are scams.

I do not believe that this can happen. I have been trading on Coinsbit exchanges for a long time and have never heard of such cases.

We both know you've never put a dime in Coinsbit and are simply here to make it look like it has an active community on the forum when it does not. But just for fun, here's some "such cases" of users getting scammed:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XdhoLqP1_-g - guy has over 100 referral, Coinsbit took away his CNB token balance and are not refunding it

From nomics.com, LOL:

Quote
Forums like Bitcointalk and Reddit are full of comments of users who struggle to withdraw their funds or cannot get in touch with the 24/7 customer support. Although the exchange’s team often gets involved in the threads where users complain, instead of addressing their issues, it regularly posts PR materials.

From Facebook:

As a matter of fact, you can see Coinsbit has dozens of complaints about deposits not being received, withdrawals not being processed, and balances being wiped out:

https://web.facebook.com/pg/coinsbit.io.cr/reviews/?ref=page_internal

Here's some of the complaints on Reddit:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Coinsbit/comments/cnls09/this_exchange_is_a_scam_do_not_use/
https://www.reddit.com/r/Coinsbit/comments/ew3evk/scam_exchange/
https://www.reddit.com/r/Coinsbit/comments/eqgts0/avoid_this_exchange_at_all_costs/
https://www.reddit.com/r/Coinsbit/comments/ekyw63/2000_cnb_airdrop_looks_like_a_huge_scam_to/

You'd pretty much have to be a fool to consider using this exchange after reading these reviews. I highly recommend everyone stay away from it.
5289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Project Anastasia: Bitcoiners Against Identity Theft [re: Craig Wright scam] on: February 25, 2020, 07:50:38 AM
I have an honest question for you: do you believe Gavin wasn't telling the truth when he said there's a chance that Wright may be Satoshi? And by "telling the truth," I mean conveying what he actually believes. He distinctly left open the possibility that Faketoshi is real, and I would like to know if you believe he did that dishonestly.

Both dishonest (how would he expect anyone to fall for this) and honest (how would he fall for it) really don't make a ton of sense in my view.

It's not that I view him as extremely honest-- I recently ran into some evidence that convinces me that Gavin was being wilfully dishonest when it came to the block size drama--  but rather it's too stupid a lie to play along with,  and it's not that I think he's totally immune to smoke and mirrors (I think even far more capable people are not immune) but I have not encountered anyone else who knew almost anything about the technology and wasn't explicitly on Wright's payroll that expressed a public belief in it for more than a second.  At least to technical experts (and I think many other people) wright is just that transparently a fraud.

Unfortunately, we know relatively little about the scope and progression of his interactions with Wright, because other than detailing a bit about the proof ceremony (e.g. that it was via a computer provided by wright) he pretty much clammed up and stopped answering questions.

So... Sorry, I can't explain the inexplicable. I wish I could.

Some people say that it's not a big deal that he hasn't issued a clear and emphatic retraction, or shared publicly his electronic communications with wright which he claimed convinced him before they met. I might even buy an argument that it was all just too much for him and he can't take dealing with it if he'd disappeared from the public light entirely-- rather than showing up periodically to toss shade at bitcoin and promote competitors. ... but he hasn't and it's really easy to find real people who are being exploited by Wright that cite Gavin's endorsement as a primary justification.

Thanks for the reply, it is appreciated. Perhaps there's an element that Gavin wanted Wright to be Satoshi that clouded his judgment. I would just hope that people who consider taking Gavin's assessment into account also consider the rest of his final words on the topic (I know I've posted this a couple times already but its worth repeating):

Quote
Now that six months have gone past, I’m being asked if I still think Craig Wright was Satoshi.

I think there are two possibilities.

Either he was Satoshi, but really wants the world to think he isn’t, so he created an impossible-to-untangle web of truths, half-truths and lies. And ruined his reputation in the process.

If he was Satoshi, we should respect his wish to remain anonymous, and ignore him.

The other possibility is he is a master scammer/fraudster who managed to trick some pretty smart people over a period of several years.

In which case everybody except the victims of his fraud and law enforcement working on behalf of those victims should ignore him.

So, either he was or he wasn’t. In either case, we should ignore him. I regret ever getting involved in the “who was Satoshi” game, and am going to spend my time on more fun and productive pursuits.

What's clear is that either way he was telling people to ignore Craig, yet a lot of BSVites just didn't seem to get that portion of the message, for whatever reason...
5290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Project Anastasia: Bitcoiners Against Identity Theft [re: Craig Wright scam] on: February 25, 2020, 05:51:28 AM
Just in case anyone is still thinking that Andresen's general ambivalence about Wright's identity theft is morally neutral: https://twitter.com/5omni/status/1231940554306572289

I have an honest question for you: do you believe Gavin wasn't telling the truth when he said there's a chance that Wright may be Satoshi? Its still pretty early but I definitely like the way things are shaping up!

Finally the polls are reflecting the reality of the situation, safe to say they are a lagging indicator now.

Poll   Date   Sanders  Biden  Bloomberg  Warren  Buttigieg  Klobuchar  Steyer  Gabbard  Spread
RCP Average2/13-2/2229.317.215.313.29.86.32.21.4Sanders +12.1

If he lasts that long, Bloomberg will pick up massive delegates in NY, maybe a few more places on the eastern seaboard, but that's it. I'm thinking its Bernie all the way at this point.

hello, I have been trading on this exchange for 8 months already, there have never been problems. My account has been verified. 9.02.20 years, they blocked me when 15 eth was withdrawn, although confirmation of the withdrawal came to the mail. The support says security checks, well, the question is how much more to wait? a month, two, a year I do not understand what to check there. It’s simple that they will not be able to withdraw such an amount. That's all. What data do you need? Write your mail
Send me in PM your personal email address, which is registered on the Coinsbit exchange and the number of your ticket to support.

DO NOT TRUST THIS SCAMMER.

This is a scam exchange which hired a scam bumping service to promote it, of which this is account is a part. He will simply try to use your email address to hack your Coinsbit account, making things worse for you than they already are.

If Coinsbit refuses to give you your ETH, post screenshots of your problem here so all can be aware of how they scam their customers.

"The logical move from the introduction of bitcoin is to go short suitcases." - Warren Buffet

This was after his meeting with Justin Sun, who was not the best at changing Buffet's mind, apparently. Well HODLers, watch this video and then prove him wrong:

Dow is down nearly 900 points today.

It makes you wonder if they are going to blame the Corona Virus as the reason the stock market crashes, when in reality its obviously a lot more than that (federal banks printing money).

Looking at the 10 year chart for the S&P, it looks like the coronavirus was specifically made to incur a correction. The virus didn't move the stock market, the stock market moved the virus.

Bolded part wasn't there when I hit reply.  Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's some sort of Machiavellian-esque plot.  You've just gone about it in what, to me at least, appears to be a slightly sly way.

Confirmed.

that clarification was buried in a later reply to TECSHARE. naturally i didn't notice it because i was responding to your earlier post directed at me. you can blame me for not reading every subsequent post in the thread before replying to you, but that's about it. Cheesy

Dude... you kept going on about it for 2 or 3 more posts even after it was pointed out that you're talking shit.

As far as guild membership goes, I think you're fitting right in. It just needs to be renamed to The Never Wrong Guild and your flexible standards and ridiculous rhetoric will work just fine.

Don't try to correct my acronym, its perfect.
5297  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM: Bitcoin SV (BSV) - fake team member and plagiarized white paper on: February 24, 2020, 08:50:11 AM
She is a BSV shill, pretending to be Satoshi's sister and supporting the lies of faketoshi.

BSV bullshits people to be the most law compliant blockchain (ROLFcopter), let's expose who's behind and what they actually do.

I have to take it back: she has indeed gone full BSVtard since last time I checked.

https://twitter.com/LisaNEdwards/status/1230827276129972226

ay ay ay...

Then for extra fun, watch this clip of Craig (who appears to be tripping balls) with his sister at the Coingeek afterparty:

5298  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM: Bitcoin SV (BSV) - fake team member and plagiarized white paper on: February 24, 2020, 07:59:06 AM

Well, that is funny, but Craig doesn't really have any control over what his sister does. Its not like she's a huge BSVtard going around espousing the benefits of a "drug-free" bitcoin clone. This was actually released about a month ago but I didn't think to post it here.

What's worse is the tweet by Painted Frog above that, containing a video where Craig says Dave Kleiman died of a "drug overdose from drugs he bought on Silk Road."  Roll Eyes

There's as much evidence for that theory as there is for the one that says Craig killed Dave (zero).

edit: of course the autopsy report for Kleiman shows no traces of opiates in his system at the time of death, but why let the truth get in the way of a great lie?

BTC wallet still "under maintenance" with no estimate as to when people can withdraw their coins. Definitely an exit scam.

all of that is down to shitty business practices at worst.

shitty business practices =/= scamming.

This comment aged poorly. But I still love it when shitcoin devs make excuses for scam exchanges because they list their shitcoins.
