5281  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin to buy everyday needs? on: January 31, 2017, 06:16:12 PM
$50 is the cost for me to have a verified and registered paypal account or plastic master/visa cards, if I can't pay with bitcoin I'll have to pay $50 because I have no other options, however if I want to buy something in my country all I need is to spend 5 minutes to convert bitcoin to my currency automatically and receive in my bank account within 30 minutes.
5282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do we need to do to take the Bitcoin mainstream? on: January 31, 2017, 02:34:45 AM
I think OP just got franked Cheesy when will people start using green energy, solar energy? when fossil energy resources diminish and technology needed is not so expensive and is mass produced.

When did computers, smart phones become mainstream? when companies started to manufacture micro processors and chips and when it was convenient for people because they had the potentials of making their lives much better and easier.

From more than 7B people if 200M decide to test bitcoin for a while to see if they like it or not, what happens if every second 20k transactions broadcast into the network? I know the network get jammed.

What happens if hashrate multiplies 3 times in matter of a week? do you think price has the flexibility to follow or market just cripples itself?

Do you think someone with $400M will ever take the risk even if it's 1% drop in value which would be $4M loss to him? while we've had 20% decrease of value and even greater %s.
5283  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: We're using the Bitcoin blockchain for the Sharing Economy on: January 31, 2017, 02:07:47 AM
Using government's delivery system? what do you mean by tagging our items? you realize things like this has no credibility in courts of law right?
You can't prove ownership of property by providing evidence from a decentralized source. in case if you missed the memo, peer to peer and decentralized systems are not working under any law but the law of code and protocols.
5284  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: What are the TOP 5 online wallets ? on: January 31, 2017, 01:50:03 AM
Just few minutes ago I read a thread here that blockchain faced another hacking attack. this is not first time I am reading that. blockchain hacked several times in future. it is really not 100% secure. but yes. as you said most people still love to use blockchain as this is easy to use and sending and receiving funds is very easy with that.
but I suggest you one thing. use blockchain only for receiving and sending small amounts.. for storing big amount use a cold wallet.
Why do you spread false information? they have never been hacked, clients info is not saved on their databases and they let you have private keys of addresses, I have never lost my bitcoin balance there, have you? blockchain.info is one of the first and for me the best web wallet, I wouldn't suggest other services as long as this one is working perfectly.
5285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Heading for a brick wall. SegWit failed. on: January 30, 2017, 11:04:44 PM
Then I think we're moving towards no micro transactions network is that right? if adoption takes off as it is more traffic but less small transactions= more serious value transferring, and a healthy incentive for running full nodes. Personally I wouldn't mind to pay from 15 up to 50 cents for sending and receiving in under 1 hour.
5286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: January 30, 2017, 10:38:24 PM
More than 270 pages to reach the conclusion which is more dopamine and more adrenaline= more gambling. Why the light from sun is warm? I expect 100 pages to get my answer.  Cool
5287  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: January 30, 2017, 10:29:04 PM
Yes, holding for a long term is a great idea but I don't think that you hold all your earnings, there are lot of opportunities awaiting out there and don't depend all in bitcoin. Yes, bitcoin can change our life but I am not advising that you just depend on bitcoin, explore don't just wait and hold. You can use bitcoin in other ways like opening a new business etc.

Why to simply hold them for a long term when we have an choice to grow them in trading and I will never keep my coins idle in wallet without using it anywhere as it will make bitcoins a weaker currency in future so I will prefer to invest them in trading and try to multiply them and I am sure the number of coins will be much higher in future in compare to only holding them.
From a year ago until now the bitcoin price doubled, so if someone could buy 5000BTC in a month and hold for 11 months he would've owned $4.5m by selling them right now considering the price at the time of buying $450. show me any safe trading or investing method like that.
Next year price will be around twice as it is right now and people will doubt it yet again.
5288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SegWit vs Bitcoin unlimited on: January 30, 2017, 10:14:38 PM
This is all the banks doings, tell me something, what happens if network could handle 400 transactions per second? who really gets hurt?
I know the answer: banks. our masters are controlling and limiting bitcoin as well, satoshi failed big time.
5289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Is Your Worst Moment in Gambling? on: January 30, 2017, 08:14:51 PM
When I find out that the games I've played were all rigged and there is nothing that I could do about it other than leaving that casino and never go back. losing in gambling isn't a worst thing that could happen because you are entering with the expectation of loss.
5290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Western Union is getting destroyed by Bitcoin in Switzerland on: January 30, 2017, 08:07:05 PM
What did they decide to do about it? people should realize something about bitcoin, it's like IPv4 and IPv6 while banks and traditional banking system is more like IPv4 while bitcoin is like IPv6. if you know about internet protocols you'd know what I'm talking about.
5291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Reason Bitcoin will always be #1 on: January 30, 2017, 07:49:05 PM
Reason right? show me a real legit, stable, supported by hundreds of thousands in community alternative, this is really simple Satoshi didn't want a quick cash grab, he did it with love and idealism intentions. though BTC is the best until it's not. other devs act like they own the coin lol.
5292  Economy / Services / Re: Bitcoin Vanity Address Generation Service (Free Promotion) on: January 30, 2017, 06:47:08 PM

5293  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Taxation on the alts on: January 30, 2017, 06:37:19 PM
Cryptocurrencies are more like a private and non financial assets, governments consider them as online toys more of a private club thing.
Only bitcoin is a serious matter for them, no government can expect taxes from people not using any national resources, you need to understand why are they taking money as taxes first and see if being involved in crypto could be considered tax-worthy or not? are they providing you with their services while you are doing trades in crypto? if yes then they have the rights to charge taxes.
5294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So many "Where to invest BTC threads" and so few real investment options. WHY? on: January 30, 2017, 06:25:51 PM
Problem with open source communities, you asked some questions and answered them yourself, you need to see the successful businesses to follow their example, see how banks are good with earning a high percentage on their money? it's because they lend money with a decent interest rate.
If people stop being greedy and enter lending area with low interest expectation they'd earn much more than just holding coins.
5295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how to explain bitcoin advantage ?? on: January 29, 2017, 03:52:59 AM
Advantages over what exactly? if you think bitcoin at current state has any significant advantage if adopted and used other than mere profit in trading better think again. you could really convince someone a decade from now when people are more open to internet in general.

Tell him this: 6 months ago bitcoin price was under $500 but now is above $900 good luck.
5296  Economy / Services / Re: help in hacking contests pages on: January 29, 2017, 03:37:41 AM

5297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What were your experiences with Bitcoin when you first started? on: January 29, 2017, 03:08:24 AM
Being a fool claiming stupid faucets for a few months Cheesy investing in every game like cloud mining scam service Cheesy running core wallet on a 10 years old laptop with a 100KB internet speed Cheesy do I need to tell more stories?
5298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could bitcoin prevent crime? on: January 29, 2017, 02:47:04 AM
There is too much laughter in this thread's title, wtf do you think bitcoin is, a sheriff maybe? or did you think an experimental software could take the justice in it's hands? judge Dredd and stuff lol. now answer my question: Could bitcoin prevent global warming or maybe abortions while you are at it.

I also need a house and a car please tell bitcoins and friends to provide them for me Cheesy.
5299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Heading for a brick wall. SegWit failed. on: January 29, 2017, 02:35:47 AM
I think this is really a serious problem because no matter how many nodes and miners we have every 10 minutes for blocks with this small size is just pure trouble, I don't know though what exactly is the problem if we had bigger block size?
5300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling vs Real Gambling on: January 29, 2017, 02:28:57 AM
Don't let me talk about real casinos because it will be a long talk, whatever you try to do in there you'll either end up losing or they will say that you were cheating, counting cards etc. all the slots are rigged only black jack and rolling dice by hands is somewhat legit. Even in online casinos they can easily manipulate the odds and results but still they're the best options if you'd ask me and you could earn a better profit or at least have a real chance in winning.
