5301  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: October 28, 2013, 02:27:46 PM
they're stubborn either because they've given up hope altogether and have written off their losses, or because they know there's an artificial floor propping the price up for them, and as long as they see bids on the book, they know they have someone else to give their bag to when they get really desperate. (The third alternative is they think Sam's going to pull a rabbit out of his hat in the third act.)
Actually, I'm still holding shares because I am getting an amazing dividend percent after buying dirt cheap when some of my ultra-low bids I placed on btct.co got filled at during the panic sell at the end. Seriously, a few more weeks and I'll have my entire purchase cost of 2 btc paid for.
Relevant part bolded. These dividends cannot be sustained without IMMEDIATE action by Sam to increase hashrate by 30%+ per week.

By the way, (since getting back in at cryptostocks using just a little tip money) I've made over 300% flipping this (which I promptly withdrew to throw at a few more low-hanging AM shares). But no way in hell I'm buying more with the current state of things. Labcoin is so far behind the curve of broken promises, it's laughable.

Well, at least for you Labcoin is good business and we're all very happy for you.

I've used ISPConfig in the past and I know there are other options out there.

Are you building from scratch or forked some other project?
5303  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Marine Corps Shoots Down Unisex Caps on: October 28, 2013, 02:08:03 PM
.....some complain it exudes a feminine air, despite being named for an especially bellicose Marine. And a change in design would have cost the Corps an estimated $6.9 million, according to a Marines spokesman.
so Obama does want the marines to wear girlie caps.

Maybe his old boyfriend likes them?

ROFL...

Reggie Love broke up with Obama? How sad.
Glad we figured that out.

Now, back on topic...

“The American public should be outraged that the U.S. Army is teaching our troops that evangelical Christians and tea party members are enemies of America and that they can be punished for supporting or participating in those groups,” Mr. Berry said, in Fox News. “These statements about evangelicals being domestic enemies are a serious charge.”

So are they enemies of America?

Well, they are enemies of reason... Cheesy

Um that's dumb, why not just tax gasoline like almost every other country? surely the more gasoline you purchase,
the more miles you have driven.

Yap, there may be a hidden agenda here...

Do VPN services relay all other ports than 80 and 443 only?

What do you mean?

That's the "user pays" approach, widely used in bridges and highways, but how they want to enforce in this particular case it raises many privacy concerns, and everyone should be against this, and I hope other countries don't follow.

There are many other ways for taxing drivers, I pay a tax every year for owning a car and there are taxes on gasoline, no need for a black box in my car...

GMO's are made to have resistance to certain pests, diseases, or environmental conditions, or resistance to chemical treatments (e.g. resistance to a herbicide), or the production of a certain nutrient or pharmaceutical agent. It's a controversial thing but really the worst that could happen is horizontal gene transfer, which isn't even going to hurt anyone.

Yea but I have read in the news that Monsanto is hiding studies that shown very bad effects of some GMO on liver. I don't know how the hell we can really trust this shitty company which is creating most of the GMOs.

The problem with Monsanto and similar companies isn't the science, the problem is what they do in courts and political lobbying, it's an Intellectual Property problem and a Patent problem and those two systems are broke.

Mega corporations have a shit load of money for influence politics and that's what they do.

When they have the right to patent ideas and genes, they go after everyone just to maintain their monopoly, and very few people can battle them in courts.

A vote should be cast on Cryptostocks wether to dissolve the company and distribute the assets amongst shareholders.

That's cute.
