5325  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto Answers To Bitcoin and Bitcoin Mining Questions on: February 21, 2021, 02:52:02 PM
If I was here in 2010, I would not believe that Bitcoin would rise above $ 10,000 in such a short time, and perhaps the price of $ 100,000 would be a little bit if we look to the future.
This is exactly what people thought 9 years ago and some few years back when bitcoin hit $500 in 2015 there was a lot of predictions that Bitcoin would eventually fall flat and lost value all over the media. Today bitcoin is $55k and yet some people are still doubting the possibility of Bitcoin hit $100k by the end of the end. The future is here already

I don't think Satoshi himself predicted such an acceptance of the coin in such a short time. If there were some quotes for the price it would be good.
There is a quote where "Satoshi said he would be surprised if in 10 years we are not using electronic money system which is bitcoin" he said this in 2010 after the first batch of bitcoin were released. I'll give the link when I find the quote.

Here are my opinions on how the games will play out  Grin

West Ham United 2-1 Tottenham Hotspur

Yeah, your prediction has improved a lot lately  Grin, I was so disappointed yesterday on EPL results so I never wanted to talk about them. To be honest, when I saw the fixture I was a little disturbed because of the recent Tottenham winless streak, after my team had a poor result yesterday I wanted Tottenham to at least do us favour by beating the inform Westham. From escaping relegation last year to fighting for the Top4, I've been impressed with Antonio since he came back from injury he is the kind of striker that can upset an opponent with any given opportunity, he always gives his team that motivation to push up and never give up. when he was injured they struggled a bit. Moyes has done a fantastic job this season, bringing in Jesse Lingard is paying off with 3 goals, 1 assist, in 4 games. This win moves them above Chelsea who is now 5th.
5327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: February 20, 2021, 08:42:40 PM
So far this is the worse weekend I've never been this bad, all my picks played the opposite, all hope is not lost as Sundays always come with good results, hopefully, I might be able to pick 5 results tomorrow to make up the shits today. No single draw in Bundesliga yet unlike last weekend. This league is full of shitty inconsistent clubs.

Manutd
Inter Milan
Real Sociedad
Napoli
Leicester

Make me proud tomorrow.
5328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: February 20, 2021, 04:50:28 PM
Chelsea had a better performance in the second half actually but they couldn't succeed in winning this. Despite the very bad performance of Southampton in the recent games.
It a quite disappointing game I was full of hope of full 3 point until I saw the line up, the lineup was kind of below par considering the number of stars on the beach. Well too early to complain, I think the most important game is the champions league game against Atletico Madrid next week I think it was the reason he kept Silva on the bench. Chelsea controlled the whole game but the ability to kill off games is still a problem. Timo and Mount was the only people trying to get us goal others were just passing around doing nothing.... We build again.
5329  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [SHOCK] A Mysterious $194k Fees On A Single Bitcoin Transactions on: February 20, 2021, 02:48:58 PM

No, the error is from the user, no transaction is untreceable as the bitcoin blockchain is transparent.
Traceable, sure, but it could still be used to launder money. I pay a fee of 3 BTC for a transaction, include the transaction in my own block, then claim the fee as a nice, clean "mining reward".

This is exactly what I'm thinking because when I checked the input address and the output address I can bodly say that it was an act of money laundering, the transaction fee was included in their own block to claim a clean and safe money. The input address is an expert with over 14k transactions so I don't see this as any mistake.

Through his 14k transaction the $2 transaction is the least among all the transactions. I believe he knew what his was doing from the onset.

The 0.0005BTC was the highest the receiver address ever received and few days later the amount was transfer to another large address.
5330  Other / Beginners & Help / [SHOCK] A Mysterious $194k Fees On A Single Bitcoin Transactions on: February 20, 2021, 09:50:00 AM
I was on my daily research routine when I stumbled on this crazy transaction on the mempool, A sender with the address below sent 0.00005BTC ($2.7) to a random wallet with a transfer fee of 3.49BTC ($194k) Grin. Could this be some kind of money laundering? Seemed like the miners or whoever behind it knew they were going to mine that particular block and decided to insert such amount of fees to make the transaction untraceable for life?

  • Is there a way someone can tell which miner or what address confirmed transactions??
  • Is this some kind of silk road activities?
  • Okay let's act nut for a few seconds and pretended that the fee was inserted by mistake, is there any way to recover it? ( sounds stupid? yeah )

The sender has made over 14,124 transactions with
over 19k bitcoins been traded.

Final Result

Wolverhampton 1-0 Leeds United

Like I predicted earlier it was not an easy game it was really tough but thanks to the own goal wolves were able to get their most needed 3 points to move ahead of wolves on the log with just a few points below Arsenal. Unfortunately, Bamford  equalizer was disallowed by VAR and labelled offside. I was pleased with that decision Grin

Friday's fixture

Wolverhampton vs Leeds United

I'm looking forward to this intense game from two great attacking sides in the league. Leeds United last five games, (W3 L2 D1).while Wolves has been experiencing some ups and downs in their last 5 (2W, 2D, 1L). It likely a draw Friday game but I'm taking the risk.
Wolverhampton to win

5334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: February 19, 2021, 10:01:19 PM
He may likely get sacked if he fails to win the most prestigious trophy I think his major objective was to give them the champions league which I don't see that happening anytime soon from a realistic angle, they are running rot in the EPL but the European games are different,
It's somewhat even ridiculous to talk of pep being sacked, considering how the season is going for him and City, the UCL is important, but so also is the EPL, definitely City fans are hoping pep delivers the biggest.
The previous coaches delivered EPL trophy, FA cup, and the League cup but still got their arse kicked out because the owners wanted someone to bring them Champions league to put their name on the elite list. They decided to hire Pep and gave him everything needed to get them to at least a final. Winning the EPL is not enough any coach can do it with this Mancity squad. If the objective is not reached as agreed they may path ways with him and bring in someone to do the job. He failed to achieve that too at Bayern Munich with the amount of good players at his service.

Having said that, City and Bayern are the favorites imo, last season and previous UCL outings with Pep, City were undone by their defense, it was pretty poor, they conceded cheap goals, and it didn't matter how many goals they could score at the other end, this season is different, their defense is formidable and that should take City all the way to the CL title.
Man City defense is still weak, what's keeping mancity is the compactness of their midfield, it's very difficult to penetrate, once you are able to expose the midfield then winning them is easy.

Up next for City in the league is Arsenal, Arteta faces his old team yet again, I can't see any chances for Arsenal in this game, City will win comfortably and head into the Mochengladbach game in high spirits.
Man City will likely save players for this encounter because of champions league, Arsenal is already at an advantage of securing the next round so they will go toe to toe to get a better result from Mancity... They know how to beat them.
5335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: February 19, 2021, 06:03:29 PM
Pep has to win the CL, he has to. That’s why he was brought in to City. Mancini & Pellegrini won the PL, Pep must go one better & win the CL to justify his reputation. They spend the most out of every team in Europe. Pep needs to deliver the CL or his legacy is not complete at Man City.
He may likely get sacked if he fails to win the most prestigious trophy I think his major objective was to give them the champions league which I don't see that happening anytime soon from a realistic angle, they are running rot in the EPL but the European games are different, we saw how the so-called proclaimed farmers league toyed with Barcelona and Juventus a few days ago. In the championship league, you don't rely on star players you need someone to do the dirty work to give your team an advantage. Ramos was the reason Real Madrid won the champions league 4 times in a row.

Thousands of scams with this same method have been reported in the past so the crypto community should be aware of this already?!
The crypto community is not static its dynamic because there are new people coming into it every day, information is key.

Did you check that address to find anyone lost their money to this old technique! Huh

As far as I noticed the address has only two transaction which seems the scammer moved it to himself from exchanges.
Those comments are recent ones I think the site is not up to a week, I don't wish anyone to fall for this but with their marketing strategy on every social platform they may likely get someone to roast if the site is not reported as quickly as possible.
5338  Economy / Economics / Re: Confirmed NGN banks blocking account, what could be the outcome on the economy? on: February 19, 2021, 01:32:58 PM
[quote like Estonia had online applications for example, with that you could technically move your exchange accounts to your other nations bank account and they will allow you to get crypto and fiat and you could just move that banks money and wire that to your own banks account.

I know of other countries virtual and online banking system but there are security requirements to prevent another citizen from opening a bank account in another country like in the US you must have your SSN number  to open an account while in Nigeria you must have a BVN number to open both virtual and offline bank. A citizen from Nigeria cannot open a bank in the US (Online or Offline) without the SSN number. Are you Estonian? I may like to know how this work.@elkaka22

@igehhh
All those accounts were created in 2010-2011. Back in those days, all accounts could wear an avatar. When the rules were changed and only Full Members and above were allowed to wear avatars, the users who already had avatars on their profiles were left with theirs.
Thanks for the information the user Why is very still active I just wondering what goes into the mind of a newbie when they see their fellow newbies with a gif avatar, looks weird, and fishy Grin. It could've been better to enforce the new rules on all accounts though. Well, what do I know?
