5321  Other / Meta / Re: Do something about the colors used on: June 12, 2019, 08:04:54 PM
Unfortunately, most people who are color blind cannot distinguish green from red. I'm not sure what such people actually see, though, since I'm not color blind.
I think it also depends on the shade of green or red used. Dark green is a good choice over light green to me

By the way Incase you are wondering how a red-green color-blind individual sees these colors, the picture below has a good simulation of it Wink

5322  Other / New forum software / Re: Is there a mobile friendly way to view the forums? on: June 12, 2019, 06:28:22 PM
The first thing, when I registered on the forum was searching through the App Store for Bitcointalk app. But unfortunately there is no such app. I use mostly smartphone while surfing the net, but here it’ quite uncomfortable.

Crypto world is very progressive, so it’s strange that this forum has no app.
One of the reasons could be because the New Forum software has been under development for quite sometime now.
Perhaps admin saw no point of creating a forum app yet there is a new forum software about to be introduced. Maybe ideas of the forum apps would be welcome once migration to Epochtalk is complete.
5323  Other / Meta / Do something about the colors used on: June 12, 2019, 06:19:48 PM
My concern is the color schemes used.
I think we should have
- Dark green for all Positive ratings
- Black for neutral
- Then Red for all Negative
Just like the old times. The new orange color is a little uncomfortable for me. Imagine I am using a blue light screen filter and the orange color looks awkward.

Also, remember that there are color blind people out there using the forum. So using clearly distinct colors for each rating type should really be considered rather than use so many colors that are closely similar.
5324  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bitcoincasino.com and their campaign manager allowing trolling and spam? on: June 12, 2019, 06:07:06 PM
You reap what you sow.
I have seen you troll around and at times use foul language here and address members with too much disrespect and of course members know that you are a big joke and lost credibility so don't expect them to address you like daddy's little Princess.

Here is a classic example:
Who are you anyway shit stain? what have you achieved here ever? just look like some ass feltching alt  trolling the board with observably incorrect garbage.
5325  Economy / Reputation / Re: Request support for Flags here! on: June 12, 2019, 05:36:57 PM
How about someone who is advertising to sell bitcointalk accounts on a locked thread. Do they also apply in this case?
Lemme look for the link of some account seller i have just seen

Sorry i have been away for some hours and I am just still learning about the new development.
5326  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CARTOONS - Are you going to invest on these ICOs? on: June 12, 2019, 05:28:20 PM
Can't really tell if this is a joke or it really needs its own scam accusations thread.

At least they have a strong team - Sarah Connor, Jack Sparrow, Sansa Stark.  Cheesy

If you so desire to stay anonymous I don't have a problem with that...but fake names and cartoons? I don't get it.
Grin These scammers are a big joke!
There are not even trying anymore... If anybody fell this stupid attempts of their and lots money then they don't deserve to be crypto adopters at all.
They are even too lazy to put a worm on the bait  Grin Grin

5327  Economy / Services / Re: 🔥OneHash Signature Campaign🔥 [open] on: June 12, 2019, 05:15:03 PM
OneHash is fortunately to be here since a long time now. I wonder if you could let Member rank people join the Campaign,  though a less pay is ok, but advertising a reputed Old worth platform is better.
Whats your Idea?
You will have to first wait for an announcement from them tomorrow
We will share with you info about slots situation and updated spreadsheet tomorrow.

But I think they clearly want only higher ranking members which shouldn't be looked at badly because that's how they want to be advertised.
5328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 12, 2019, 04:53:21 PM
Real Madrid were fantastic at this summer's transfer by bringing in 3 players namely Eder Militao, Luka Jovic and Eden Hazard. Of course, these three players are expected to be able to pass the good season with Real Madrid. With many new players it will certainly have an impact on old players who may leave Real Madrid, Nacho Fernandez, Mariano Diaz and Brahim Diaz. That's three players who might be threatened in Madrid.
There are actually 4 new signings including forward Rodrygo. The attack is really filled up and definitely we shall have some players leaving soon including Bale(Though he seems to be reluctant to leave)
5329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: June 12, 2019, 04:31:46 PM
Chelsea would be the ideal scenario for him, the team is not going for championship so he can park the bus and just let them get into Europe next year and that would be enough.
I doubt he will go back to Chelsea for the third time. That would be so dramatic. Maybe some top clubs in France or Italy would do for him for now
5330  Economy / Reputation / Re: About red-trust for... on: June 11, 2019, 12:21:04 PM
Yes, if there is solid proof that the account was compromised or sold especially if its an old account then it will be tagged. All you have to do is just share the link of the account here and members look at it.
5331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: New privacy coin -> limited 15% staking rewards to celebrate its release on: June 11, 2019, 05:21:55 AM
It makes no sense putting up names of a team that you don't ant to be known by members here. If you want to be anonymous then do not put up any team at all.
We shall also pretend here that you have no team for all we know team names without pictures can be any names randomly picked.

5332  Other / Meta / Re: Amnesty 2019 bitcointalk.org on: June 10, 2019, 11:38:31 AM
Clearing the forum of plagiarism harmed many useful people for the forum who did not abuse the rules.
No, They abused the rules... I mean that's why they got banned in the first place right?

In many countries, there is a tradition to free people who have committed no serious crimes for anniversaries in history.
Theymos and other members of the administration, please show some mercy and review this list
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5144410.0
I am sure criminals with past serious crimes too don't get such chances in those countries... Do they?
Plagiarism is one of the very few offenses that can get you permabanned in this forum... So it's a very serious crime according to bitcointalk.

I think some of those who deserve a second chance have been granted it so far which I see is fair enough.
Don't forget that 2-3 months ago, chances of getting a permanent ban lifted once you got it were 0.01% so let's acknowledge the new linient approach from the global mods and admin
5333  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM Accusations: Some138 on: June 10, 2019, 08:59:54 AM
I can confirm that some138 has turned into a scammer. he was asking me to send payment yesterday over telegram which I refused because I felt skeptical.
It would be good if you included even the screenshots of the PM/chat logs so that people can know how he tries to pull off his scam tricks and stay off

1. With the funny trust ratings, Scammer was obviously trying to counter the tags but probably had no idea how it works  Grin

2. The accounts seem to have been bought, hacked or may be alts of the scammer.

I just left info here so that members can look into them and keep an eye on them.
5335  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] - CatalansCoin, Wallets are Infected with Malware!! on: June 09, 2019, 11:11:43 PM
Thanks for your warning. I hope you prevented people from downloading fake wallets.
This is the only official ANN (nº 1 of your links): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5128919.0
2 and 3 were phishing attemps.

Really?

I think you have forgotten that we already have archived versions of your ANN... Why did you edit it? Trying to cover your own tracks?
Look again in the archive: http://archive.fo/eKWye
Github profile with fake wallet that was reported is the same as the one on your ANN. So how does someone else attempt to phish through your ANN?

ANN before editing

ANN after editing

Reported Malicious wallet Github link:
Code:
https://github.com/catalanscoin/catalanscoin/releases/download/0.1.0/Windows-Release.zip

1. The first release was deleted because you probably know it very well that your wallet was malicious from the word go and wanted to cover your tracks

2. You Uploaded the whole zip file and then scanned it, but we all know that virus total isn't that accurate with zip folders. Individual files in the zip folder are very malicious as pointed out in the OP as the person took time to scan each file.

3. False positive can happen but when 5-6 or 8 engines detect something, then it probably not a false positive.

4.  The claim of someone's Ethers being stolen came from your own thread and not the "other fake threads"
after you install the wallet, took the 1.7 ether 0x566128F92063D95178b88b69D19C6E9b90796be5

I am even surprised why the DT members didn't tag you and the other profile that was reported by OP.

5338  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is this worth a negative feedback? [Community View - icosonar] on: June 08, 2019, 02:10:57 PM
Just seen the post history and it's spam, spam and spam.
Haven't yet come across someone get red tagged for spamming but i think a neutral feedback would just do fine.
I am not sure how effective reporting such posts to mods is?
If they can actually delete spammy posts of this kind then i think a neutral tag and a report to mods option would be okay though it would be a lot of work reporting each post.
5339  Other / Meta / Re: BAN APPEAL: Assuming my fault and looking for a solution on: June 08, 2019, 02:00:55 PM
As the message in red indicates... It's either plagiarism or Spam,
100% chance that you were banned due to plagiarism so might wanna look at your past posts that don't have links to the original authors.
No one here has been banned for taking against binance or some project of sorts as you stated
5340  Other / Meta / Re: Account compromised on: June 07, 2019, 11:24:33 PM
My email seemed to follow these instructions. I have added a few more details and resent an email just now. Hopefully, I will recover my account this time around.
According to past recoveries it usually takes a week before you are contacted by the team on your email on how to recover your account after you send the first  email. Quite surprised why you got no response.
Hopefully you manage to recovery your account this time round.

By the way did you use the original email address with which you used for setting up the account to contact the recoveries team?

Edit:
The reason your account is not being recovered is because it was Permabanned most probably because of plagiarism, Perhaps after the hack.

https://bpip.org/profile.aspx?p=eerygarden

I don't have enough time right now but a little investigation can reveal which post got you banned. Whether it was a post before or after the hack.
