Good morning Bitcoinland. Still flat at around $230 I see.

While this might be boring to the point of extra coffee, it's a good thing in the long run.

A nice slow steady climb up is best.

Let's see what the weekend brings.

Good morning Bitcoinland.

Still sitting around $230 I see. Ho hum.

Not surprisingly, the massive $2 dip from $232 to $230 has the bears salivating like Pavlov's dogs. So predictable. So pathetic.

Joy sentiment has return; sockpuppets have gone away. Bullish! Grin

Shhh. Don't jinx it. We're just a dump and $2 drop away from a cacophony of trollsox.

With all due respect, nay sayers may be blithering idiots, however I respect their ability to at least make a decision, even if it ends up being completely wrong.

Indeed. Both permabulls and permabears show resolve.

It's the dithering indecision of many in between that can seem so pathetic... and humorous.

This week will be a good week. Bears will have to cut their losses.

Wow, $5 jump and already bear funeral announced. Bulls must be desperate when they celebrate something like this. Bearish.

Yeah, it's almost as ridiculous as the jackass braying of the beartards with every $2 drop as confirmation that we're headed for double digits and labeling the subsequent correction back up as a Dead Cat Bounce.

C'mon people, let's not get over-excited about every minor price movement.

Well good afternoon Bitcoinland. It's a new week.

Is this really the start of a mini-rally or just a small upward blip in the otherwise sideways trend?

It's nice to see $230 after spending June in the $220s. Still, it's only up $3 since early yesterday. No moon, no double digits.

Or is it just a reflection of the US$?
5327  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 06, 2015, 03:31:16 PM
Good morning Bitcoinland.

Still sideways I see, as caffeine-requiring as ever.

Yawn.

Good morning Bitcoinland.

I see we had the much-anticipated crash to oblivion. Wow, a massive $3 plummet.

That may have been enough to wake up the usual trolls/sockpuppets, but it's still sideways to me.

It doesn't seem to want to stay over $240 or under $230 for very long.

Yawn.

h&s pattern completing...

 Huh Which h&s pattern?

I don't see one.

Good morning Bitcoinland.

Still going sideways.

Yawn.
5331  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 21, 2015, 04:06:04 PM
Good morning Bitcoinland (and traders too).

Once again, not much doing.

I suppose a dollar or two up is better than a buck or two down.

Yawn. Sip.

Good morning Bitcoinland.

Been sideways for a week now. Spent 4 days in the bush without internet access and didn't miss a thing.

Ho hum. Time to grind some more beans.

in the last 24 hrs, oil (WTI) dropped twice as far as Bitcoin (3% vs. 1.5%)

So in terms of oil, we're up :-)

so crude is done ?

Time to buy a Tesla.

The market has a way of sorting this kind of thing out. One bad short on leverage can wipe you out completely.

There's investing and there's gambling.

Acquiring an asset for its potential vahue or divesting yourself of it to put your money elsewhere is investing.

Going long or short on borrowed money is gambling.

Good morning Bitcoinland.

Still under $240 I see, and going sideways.

Could we just have a nice price rise to chase the socktrolls back under the rock from which they they crawled?

They're particularly disgusting this morning.

Count me as one in favor of re-instituting newbie jail, but with an increased duration. 30 days night be sufficient.
5337  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 14, 2015, 09:42:57 PM
Nice dump. LOL.

Will it dump all the way back up over $240?

Personally, I think it's hard to beat buying instantly through Quadriga via debit card for just 1.5% - I never have to leave any money there, just send fiat and withdraw bitcoin. The first transfer I made was delayed 24 hours for some security reason, but every time since then it's instant. Very nice service.

Thanks for the heads-up.

I actually opened a Quadriga account when Cavirtex closed down but I haven't used it yet. This sounds promising.

It seems to address most of the reasons for using an ATM, except for having to keep money in my bank account. While banks may not be quite as dangerous as the internet, they're still a risky place to keep your money.

One point I forgot to mention is that the Canadian exchanges have such low volume that anything other than a very small trade has the potential to affect prices. Because the ATM I use is based on BitcoinAverage, there's less chance of slippage.

...the day we go double digit!

Feeling nostalgic for the good old double-digit days? Why not single digits or sub-$1 coins? 10k for a pizza?

Keep dreaming.
