5321  Economy / Economics / Re: Isnt it time to give up cryptocurrency ranking on: July 14, 2018, 06:20:16 AM
Indeces with regards to ranking have different use. Price, Market Cap, Circullation etc all can give you different data about the crypto. However, they are all connected with an equation.

I think Market Cap is the best way to rank coins. I know this can be easily manipulated but which is not.

RIpple is indeed a shitcoin and still be in No.5. This shows that is supported even if it is crap, so for an investor it could be a good piee of information.
5322  Other / Meta / Re: Disable signatures/bounties til a user reaches full member status. on: July 13, 2018, 07:11:17 AM
How about allowing affiliate links in signatures? This would allow bounty managers to reward affiliates based on the effectiveness of their signatures, and not just based on their skills as graffiti artists and polluters.
I don’t understand why so many people around here think it is okay to tell people how to conduct business and how they should be saying things.

This forum is an advocate for freedom and likes to give people as much freedom as possible.

I agree with you, but I think bitcointalk has to do something against this huge amount of spammers/bots.
They keep posting everywhere just for increase their rank (or they're trying to...) and this will penalize the entire community.
That's why maybe making strict rules for signatures would be great for the community.

How does a signature avoid a low rank member spamming in bitcointalk? I really cannot understand that.

A low rank member will keep spamming and posting shit with or without a signature. I agree that stricter rules are necessary and this can be done by the forum side. Meaning more moderators that can keep the quality of the forum in a high level.
5323  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Globalization on: July 13, 2018, 06:34:59 AM
It might be said: globalization is merely a synonym for centralization.

Centralization's end game could consist of monopolies in the private sector and totalitarianism on the state side of things. It could be something that is pursued primarily as a means of control for that collection of elites who push agendas in politics and society.

Things like one world governments and one world currencies which represent end products of globalization, could be promoted in order to limit the choices, rights and freedom people have. Its much easier for special interest demographics to infiltrate and control a single government than it is for them to control a number of different governments across the world. These could represent reasons why things like globalization, one world governments and one world currencies are pushed from an agenda based perspective.

I think these two are different. Globalization is not about having the same government. This could be described as Unitazation (European Union, United States of America etc). You cannot say that Americans are globalized in their country. They need China, EU, Canada to interact and eventually be globalized.

Globalization is about giving the same opportunities to everyone by eliminating inequalities among people. This is something like decentralization and promoted by democracy.
5324  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Bounty Reward Campaigns, Facebook on: July 13, 2018, 06:25:00 AM
Nice post here. Thank you for raising this issue.

I would not agree more that Bounty campaigns may need a better structures. This is mostly because a user may "Use" many smurf spamming accounts and eventually he will get many stakes without doing his work correctly. These accounts are malicious and needs to be eliminated.

Moreover, Having 300 "real" friends gives more quality to the bounty than 1000 fake. These campaigns are very  tricky because social media accounts can be manipulated easily.
The No. of friends can be manipulated, No. of likes, shares etc. I am not sure how bounty campaigns can change in a different structure by i think something needs to be done. I am fed up with hunters that use multiple fake accounts in order to get more stakes.

Disable signatures-bounties until a user reaches full member rank is not a bad idea itself.

IT IS a bad idea itself. A shitposter does not have to do with his rank. Of course "low ranks" post and spam in a bigger frequency but this does not mean that there are not Full Members- Sr. Members that are not posting shit.

In my opinion, we need more moderators in forum in order to keep the quality posts and get rid of the others.
5329  Economy / Services / Re: I will pray for you! (literally) on: July 10, 2018, 06:06:22 AM
You need to clarify to which God you pray!

Or do you have the ability to pray in all Gods?

I think if someone sends you 1 BTC to can pray in different languages as well.

5331  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM/REPORT] GREENISH COIN on: July 04, 2018, 07:58:32 PM
I as a member of the bounty campaigns very quickly realized that the company Greenish Coin-Scam. They haven't updated the spreadsheets with the awards. It's good that I immediately left these campaigns and did not waste time.

Telegram group seems abandonded. But, still there are some naive members that continue posting Bounty reports.
5332  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: HURTLECOIN (HRTL) SCAM connected with Maxnetlabs.com? on: July 04, 2018, 05:02:42 PM
I just got booted for politely asking about these issues. Obviously a scam.

Where did you got booted?  In which channel?

Thank you for contributing to this with such an info.
5333  Other / Serious discussion / Re: [Conspiracy theory] Banks in Crypto Market on: July 03, 2018, 11:46:10 AM
After the recently drops in crypto prices i have started thinking the reasons that this happens. Of course we could blame the decentralization of the system and that it's why the volatility of the market is normal.
However, as a conspiracy guy i think that this war that institutions have started against cryptos may be for their own good. My point is that governments, banks and financial institutions have begun to be strict in order to drop down the prices and eventually buy coins in lower prices.

I believe that blockchain technology would be omnipresent in all organizations. In this way, cryptos would follow this trend as well and banks know that.

Does not make sense. Buy at regular price. Dump and buy at lower price..

See if the boss likes the idea. You can call it swing trading.

I agree with your strategy. However, whales are the first movers so they can caught you off guard.
5334  Economy / Scam Accusations / HURTLECOIN (HRTL) SCAM connected with Maxnetlabs.com? on: July 02, 2018, 08:51:30 PM
Hello dear community.

Another incident of SCAM project is pointed here.

I believe that going through the website of this project (https://www.hurtlecoin.com/) you can truly understand that something going wrong.

What caught my attention is that only 3 guys are members of this project and by the way there is no redirection to their Social media accounts.

http://prntscr.com/k1rk9s

This 3 guys are also appeared in the website of Maxnetlabs (Maxnetlabs.com) a blockchain services provider firm, BUT with Different roles!!!!! Also the pictures of Atif Zahid and Nauman Zahid redirects to the same Facebook profile!

Mr Omer Khan, has a role of Blockchain Developer in HURTLECOIN and Marketing Director in the other.

http://prntscr.com/k1rm38

As HURTLECOIN bounty campaign is on the first pages of the bounty section we need some clarifications on this issue.

Either HURTLECOIN or MAXNETLABS is trying to SCAM people and we need to raise awareness once again.

5335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I do not understand the pessimism on: June 29, 2018, 08:45:42 AM
First of all, welcome to the community!

Pessimism comes from people that believe they will be rich in one night. I have noticed that these people are mostly the ones that got involved in the cryptoworld after seeing this great rise of bitcoin price at the end of 2017 (known as FOMOS). They didn't read anything about blockchain technologies and cryptos and simple opened accounts in Coinbase and bought cryptos. Now that they see the prices falling they are speading bad words because they simply do not believe in the decentralization idea. They are opportunists that they wanted to join the Bitcoin Wave and get some advantages of that.

Personally,  i would not follow projects that Tokensuite is involved anymore. I am fed up with them. Maybe @ICOEthics should just try and investigate only the projects of Tokensuite. Definately, he would have a lot of work to do! Grin

πάντως ένα από τα καλύτερα site για να βλέπουμε ισοτιμίες με διαγράμματα σε πραγματικό χρόνο είναι νομίζω το bitcoinwisdom

https://bitcoinwisdom.io/

Εξαιρετικό site και αρκετά friendly interface μπορώ να πω.
