No, it will only be mining the one algo you select in the .conf file. I'm sorry for the very dumb question, but where is said file on windows? I see no conf file in the wallet folder, nor in the %apddata%/myriadcoin folder. Every QT wallet has option to run with different folder to store blockchain and wallet.dat Simple make new folder in Wallet folder(example D:\CoinName\Cache\) make shortcut to exe, open shortcut properties and add after exe like this -datadir=D:\CoinName\Cache\ Apply. You don't need appdata on C. You can also prepare conf file BEFORE 1st launch in \Cache\ dir. Good luck!  |

Well according to the OP, "... those who mined in the first 30 minutes recieved 48x more proportional coins than normal, those who mined in the first two hours have received between 4-20x more coins depending on what difficulty level they jumped in at." I wouldn't call getting more coins than forecast stupid. Be happy that you mined more coins than otherwise. If that so, than good. I'm not clearly understood it.  |

If I understand this correctly, which I might not, the block reward will only go up if the price goes up and there is substantial interest in the coin - so you should be better off having mined early. Happy to be corrected by the OP if this is wrong. Well, let the OP confirms that. Coz I'm not clearly understand. Maybe coz my eng is bad. |

I mined 3K, but node syncs very very slow at start. I run wallet at 1st minute of launch and seen how it downloading blockchain 1-10 kb/s when my inet connection 100Megabit (wallet was downloaded for 5 seconds or less). I have experience with many coins at start. So, I can tell you if you belive that you have big amount, you're wrong. Coz DEV has much much more. I called it "cheat premine with slow node and low diff". Good luck! |

Also you never find who did cash out this BTC, coz he can exchange BTC to Alt. coins and alt. coins to alt. coins and then to BTC again or more simple mixing service.

If DEV had so many coins it would had been dumped already.
Dev not so stupid to dump it all at same time. Coz walls not selling quick. He selling little amount and waiting for higher price. You are pretty wrong. Everyone had the same chances as dev to mine a lot of coins. I got a lot of them, but I mined from start + monitored wallet state (block number must be the same on all wallets when you check information tab) on all computers all the time and restarted when it went on the wrong chain.
I'm not saying that someone isn't have some thousands. But how many blocks already? How did you know how many coins DEV has? I think he prepared for solo very good. 1. Add "slow" node at start 2. Turn on you miners solo 3. Multiple nicknames says "I got some coins" in thread when others can't sync fast without nodes except DEV. 4.  5. PROFIT! You can belive whatever you want to. And call me stupid or naive. But I'm sure, DEV specially makes diff so low for so long time. |

why is the difficulty just quadrupling every 10k blocks is this intended? seems kinda strange to me (i think i asked this once already and didnt see any response)

omg i was 2 times on the wrong blockchain? hell fuck me 7 hours waste of power.. wts 7000 BTQ from the wrong chain  I warned you on 4 page. You're on wrong blockchain. yes and i deleted everything except the .conf and downloaded it again and started new and went to bed.. I went to bed too. But I leave miner running with my BTQ address, after that I just download new version and synced. Yes, 50% time was wasted, but some coins are mined. I'm not sure if this coin be alive later, but I'm still mining it. |
