Some people are just greedy, normally on every wallet (the ones that are recommended), it will be clearly stated out that the seed phrase should be safely stored somewhere that it will be used to recover back the wallet. That literally means if anyone get hold of the seed phrase, it will be used to access the wallet and access the keys it controls in a way to unlock bitcoin from blockchain and send it to another address, in this case the real bitcoin owner will lose. No matter how legit a site will are accessing, anytime any site ask us to fill in our seed phrase, the site is already compromised and should not be used not to talk of newly created site that should not be trusted at all. This is one of the reasons forums like this are import for newbie in crypto, to be able to avoid scammers.

I think this will be better on scam accusation baord. I have just gone through the site and also checked when their domain name was registered, it was registered in 2018, but I only still see this as a mean people can be scammed easily. According to the site, it is said Atrad.io is the first cryptocurrency arbitrage platform, and arbitrage deals with risk, it is like the site will help someone to trade in arbitrage market, taking advantage of different crypto prices, but trading is risky generally, if customers funds are lost, where will they see the money to recover? In this case, it is not advisable.

Have you guys thought of ending the life after big losses. Right now my mind is thinking of ending the life. It all started with just $700. I lost it, and in the event of recovering those fund I went for a loan and deposited around $2500. Here my fate, I lost everything once again. Then the recovery value increased from $700 to $3200. Here once again I deposited $9000 borrowing. Now that too is lost. My mind keeps saying end the life, with your earning you can't repay the amount lost.
This can happen to a bet addict, but you will need to stop gambling, I wish you were here before borrowing up to that extent, gambling should not be seen as a way to make money, it should be seen as otherwise. That is why people experienced gamblers like to use the money they can afford to lose to gamble. I have once being a victim, and wish to die when gambling took over $5000 from me, but I couldn't just kill myself. Today I have gotten the money back, I then realise if their is life, there is hope. Just forget about gamble for now, and focus on ways to make money, ones you have back the quality mindset, things can turn around for good. |

You might consider this question from another angle - would you rather keep your money in your own wallet or in some retail store? Why entrust your money to a third party? I'm not saying you shouldn't keep your money on exchange... I often trade there myself... I'm saying that you don't need to keep ALL your money on exchange!  No matter what, saving cryptocurrencies on exchanges should be discouraged completely. The good point you make is that it is advisable to keep it on wallets, not all wallets but only on noncustodial wallets because there is no much difference between exchanges and custodial wallet in term of someone having control over his cryptocurrencies, only noncustodial will be better. In addition, offline wallets will be good for high amount. |

Traders do have losses, but future trading is more difficult, on binance you can borrow up to 125x with the funds a trader have on binance, the more the leverage the more the losses. Even as spot trading is so risky and many traders found themselves losing, future trading is more. Some people will still go for 125x levegae and lose more and more often. But you are right, experience matters a lot, but what someone needs to really understand is to know how to manage risk, especially by reducing the leverage used. |

One of the reasons people are knowing more about bitcoin and want to invest is because they are seeing bitcoin to be a digital gold, to me I see it as an asset that might even be superior to gold in some decades to come because its supply is limited, that is the advantage it has to physical assets and also because it can not inflate but deflate and people buying it to deflate more and more. Different wallets are built and upgraded by different developer teams and you can not say other wallets depend on Bitcoin Core upgrade to do theirs.
Do not comment on what you do not know, soft fork upgrade like segwit and taproot will first be implemented on bitcoin core, the implementation will be immediately after bitcoin community all support the activation. Like for taproot, the next stage they are is speedy trial in which miners will signal for support during certain short period of time, while if most miners signal for activation, the activation will then occur like three months time after the speedy trial. Even if the offline wallet private key is seen by hackers, it can be used to steal the whole wallet from someone, it can happen to all wallets, but unlike multisig wallets, unless all the certain number of private keys require for signing is known, which will be difficult if saved offline and in different locations.
It is what you choose when you create your multisig wallet: signature and cosigner. "Choose the number of signatures needed to unlock funds in your wallet:" In Electrum wallets, the max number for signature and cosigner are 15. I know the principle that guides the use of multisig, also this thread is not about how to use multisig, it is about how taproot activation will help multisig users to take advantage of low fee. Also, the maximum number of cosigners on electrum is 5, and also the maximum number of private key that can be set is 5, not 15. |

P2TR is known as pay to Taproot, P2TR has not yet been activated in Bitcoin Core which means other wallets has not also been supoorting it. But the activation of P2TR will not pass this year, likely it will be before November of this year as we quite know miners will support the activation.
Multisig wallets are wallets that can create M of N private keys, M means the number of private keys that will be able to sign among those that generate the wallet with total number of N private keys. As for what I have known, I can say multisig wallet has good advantages even over other wallet types because of the private keys that are generated to sign for transactions can be more than one. Even if the offline wallet private key is seen by hackers, it can be used to steal the whole wallet from someone, it can happen to all wallets, but unlike multisig wallets, unless all the certain number of private keys require for signing is known, which will be difficult if saved offline and in different locations.
Assuming I am using multisig wallet, I have 2 private keys to sign transactions, if one of the private keys is known to a hacker, it will still be impossible for the hacker to steal the wallet from me, the reason the two private keys should not be safe together but save offline differently in different locations.
Many people know how multisig wallet are very safe, but they do not use it because of the higher transaction fee which will be required. P2TR will make use of schnorr signature, the signing will be in a way that the transaction will be like a transaction of normal wallets that make use of one private key and one public key for transaction, this will make the transaction fee to be low and be like normal single wallet transactions. The amazing thing is that P2TR will support multisig transaction which can make people that make use of multisig wallet to increase after P2TR activation.

Nigeria just has the chance, the goal was after 90 minutes of the game, I mean the goal was during the little extra of the time given. But Benin Republic had already lost in a game before, it was Nigeria that won the country at the time too. And of course, Lesotho and Sierra Leone are just bonus mark for as they are not playing good at all. I wonder how many teams from this continent can qualify for the World Cup? The level is clearly lower than in Europe and South America namely.

The marketcap for Wink (Win) recently is $121.54 million, this means it is still a coin at its early stage, it is ranked 328 currently. What I know about this type of coin is for someone to never use what can not be afforded to lose because such coin bear market can be very devastating in a way it will make people lose like shitcoins do, but the coin can increase more if bull market still set. I will just advice you to tell your friend to invest little on this coin, but bull run might help its price to increase further.

But people that understand the basis of economics and know bitcoin very well are the ones that can differentiate between bitcoin and what ignorant (bitcoin critics) people do say about bitcoin. It was so surprising as bitcoin became the most successful asset of last decade, and also getting more support from people as they are more knowing about bitcoin, knowing it is the asset of the future, the digital gold and the modern ways money can be used as an asset.
Bitcoin was create in 2009, only 21 million bitcoin were created which to be mined by miners, while the last bitcoin is estimated to be mined in 2140, bitcoin was created in a way to be an asset that will appreciate in value over time. Although, the price do fluctuates, but after long time, the price will increase, a good reason will should go for it.
Bitcoin scarsity
Only 21 million bitcoin were created and that will be mined, this makes the total supply of bitcoin that will be available to be limited, this makes bitcoin a scarse asset. Recently, almost 19 million bitcoin are mine already, and ever since 2009, the price of bitcoin as been increasing. Traders do want to take advantage of the price fluctuations but many traders lost bitcoin during trading, but those that have been holding bitcoin and never panic all gained.
It is never too late to invest on bitcoin, unlike the fiat that will devalue as time progresses, the fiat are regulated by the governments, the governments regulate it in a way the price also increase and decrease too, but after long time, the price will significantly reduce after several manipulations. I am not saying holding fiat is bad but not advisable as the value will continue to decrease because of government manipulations, that is why we need to go for what is scarse because if something is limited, it means people will know about it, this will make its price to be increasing as people demanding for it will be increasing.

I ve seen that in the specified leagues threads the discussion its not very productive and its only some thoughts about the outcame of the games i think it should be topics on specific games mainly games on big leagues so it can be disscussed in details.
I have recently also thought about this, truly I too noticed it is not productive. The only thing that can be done in this case is to make another of such thread, but indicating it is only for prediction. In this case, it will be included that people will only need to predict the scores and other outcomes of matches, and that their can be few comments about the reason why the score is predicted. You can start with the English Premier League to see how it works out. |

This will be a good idea, but what games are you talking about? Is it the FA cup, Champions League, World Cup Qualifier, or any of the many games that are currently ongoing. All can not be discussed on just a thread. You will need to specify which one you want to add. If a thread related to any league is already in the gambling discussion, no need to add it, you can just go to individual threads and make comments about how the game will look like, you can also predict what will be the score.

If we check the rate of how people that gamble are increasing, we may not attribute the increase in 2020 to Covid-19. What I just noticed is that more people are joining to gamble, the major cause of this are 1. The rate people are having access to the internet which is increasing. 2. The rate at which gambling sites are making their sites more compatible with phones, unlike before which are only more compatible with computers. 3. The world population that is also increasing, the more people the more the number of people that will gamble. I can't understand how easy it has become these days for scammers to hack verified accounts of prominent people on Twitter, to either promote one form of giveaway scam or the other. Elon Musk has cut a popular figure in the crypto world of late, endorsing Bitcoin and being quite vocal about a few other coins, thus it's only normal that his name be used by scammers, to create fake giveaway sites and threads.
What really surprised me in the past (2020) was when one celebrity 2fa-enabled Twitter account was hacked, it was protected by another layer of protection which is 2fa but yet hacked, if such can happen, we need to be very careful online. But what thing about such giveaway is that victims will be told to pay certain amount and get double or more of the amount paid which is a lie, giveaway should not request for anything, if requesting, it should not be done by anyone for not to become victim. |

Don't forget to report the thread which are created for begging because which is against forum rules, the thread will be trashed and the user will be nuked for sure.
Doing that, but it doesn't seem to help much. I mean I know it helps, but these kids have more time than I do. It do help, as fast as many people report such thread, as fast as it will be deleted. That is why such threads are seen deleted as fast as possible. As we see such thread, we should report it so that the person's account will be nuked and the post to be deleted. |
