LOOK AT THE BOTTOM ONE. THEY STILL HAVE SOME CROWD THERE

Probably not the fans but just some staff from both team , janitor or some other people with some job to do there. Cant believe how empty it is, it just looks like some regular training game but atleast things went smoothly

If bundesliga can make it happen, EPL could as well but unless there is general consensus regarding this then EPL wont start anymore.

Mourinho's argument seems positive to me but it doesn't make much sense, as usual the situation has not yet returned to normal. However, many are saying that it would not be good to start the session now until the vaccine is discovered, but there is no exact time frame as to when the vaccine will be discovered. In my opinion, it is better to start the sports events with some extra caution. you know the Bundesliga already has been started, very exciting moment, let's see what will happen next.

Tons of conflict of interest regarding the start of EPL again, therefore alot of people making different statement. As for Mourinho's statement, he want just more time before it restart.

As for his case, the last 3 matches of Tottenham ended in draw and lose therefore he want to deliver good result if the league actually restart. To do that, he will have to train his player harder especially when they havent been playing for months
5342  Economy / Gambling / Re: "The strangest dice game yet somehow fascinating" ➫ ➬ ➫ ➬ LUCKYB.IT on: May 16, 2020, 01:04:23 PM
Thanks for explaining, I hope it can be improved in the near future so players do not need to wait for their bets. It will be annoying once you have many active players who play plinko but this thing still happen. Cant imagine if there are thousands bet placed at the same time, although your bets are fast but waiting after clicking bet is not really good imho.

Thats the fun and unique part of luckyb.it, the suspense waiting for it . Imagine if there is no suspense in it, it would be no different than regular dice site where you click and instantly get a result from your game.

Well if you hate waiting for it, you can always close your tab and check the result later on . Might take several minutes but atleast you dont need to stare on your screen waiting for your turn

Or it could be new way of living. The government isn't really announcing anything about vaccines or cure for this and its not what they use to do. Normally when its about virus to CDC and all are going to make some interesting points for the cure but this time they are very silent about all these. To which I think we are going to stay this way even if vaccines exist already.

Locking down cities is just great for governments, easy to see criminals, easy to monitor everyone. So why should the government switch back to what it was back then?

You are nuts and that is nothing more than your own imagination. Most country has restart everything however with some safety protocol such as wearing masks in your daily life. The whole lockdown stuff wont be used anymore and this is just the new beginning for everyone else.

Government cant keep their country on whole lockdown forever because people need to work and do stuff to get some money for their daily necessities and TO PAY TAXES. The government wont be able to feed you forever during the lockdown for sure, no country could.
5345  Economy / Economics / Re: If bitcoin is made for times like these why is everyone selling at a time like.. on: May 15, 2020, 11:04:16 PM
So, how do you say that a cryptocurrency that is volatile is meant to be your safe haven? Bitcoin can be safe if you invest in it for a long term, but you shouldn't put all your hopes in it that it's going to save you, try to diversify and invest in other things like gold if you're looking for something more stable.

Gold is neither your safe haven as well , for now perhaps but many more years to go then people will try to find something more liable to invest into and one of those option is bitcoin.

As long as you buy and "hodl" Bitcoin, you'll be able to see great results in the future.

Not really, depending on when did you buy your bitcoin. If you bought them at 20k then it is not really showing great result for now. No one can predict or even expect bitcoin to be over 20k once again

Not pessimistic, just saying the truth
5346  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why there are no Stable coin gambling sites? on: May 15, 2020, 07:22:32 PM
I don’t see a real advantage of using StableCoins over Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies except maybe less volatility and cheaper transaction fees

If someone intended to gamble with crypto then all he has to do is to forget about its exchange rate for a while and just gamble. If you could turn your 1 btc into 1.1 btc, it means you win and thats all.

No matter what the exchange rate is, it doesnt matter at all because you managed to get higher balance from what you deposited into the site so it is a win for you. Regarding the transaction fees, I dont see how a mere $3 usd could be a problem for gambler

You will spend around $3 to deposit into the site and probably around that number as well to withdraw from the site ( depending on which site you use because some site pay for your transaction fee ). If you are "gambling" and thinks that a mere $7-$10 fee is huge than you probably dont need to gamble anymore

The transaction fees data was taken from this site https://ycharts.com/indicators/bitcoin_average_transaction_fee
5347  Economy / Gambling / Re: #2 Bitcointalk Poker Series (0.05 BTC & BIG BTC Ticket sponsored by SwC Poker) on: May 15, 2020, 06:44:04 PM
Ah perhaps cos of the bigger starting stacks now

Bigger starting stack should means longer games but depending on the number of people tomorrow , it might differ. Could be over 4 hours if there are around 18-25 player tomorrow ( also given that most people play defensively like last week )

14 people paid the fee already according to the spreadsheet ( 15 including me, few minutes ago but I havent notify efialtis yet ), 5 people registered into the game. 10 more people might or might not make it to the tournament . Cross your finger on this,  Wink

Got the passwords and signed me up for both games. Thanks efialtis! Looking forward to playing both and I hope we have many participants.  Cool
I am curious how the start stack of 5000 chips will change the game. Anyway, hopefully we'll all see each other at the gaming tables.

See you there  Wink
5348  Economy / Gambling / Re: #2 Bitcointalk Poker Series (0.05 BTC & BIG BTC Ticket sponsored by SwC Poker) on: May 15, 2020, 03:44:35 PM
Wow, did not know about this 0.75BTC tournament. It might tip the scales so I might be joining this weekend.

Yep, it's hard to commit all weekends to online poker now that isolation is over. We all miss sports, bars and ordinary life things.
If it was a bit shorter (1-2 hours) I might be more eager to join, but then it would not be a real game of poker anymore.

I think this one is only about the time you say, a few hours.

Last game was almost 3 hours, I was top 2 in the last game and it ended just few minutes before the third break so around 2 hours and 54 minutes(?). I could have dragged the game to over 3 hours if Im patient enough but I thought screw it as I am top 2 already and went all in instead.

Most game usually could ended up with more than 3 hours depending on how many people joined but if you intended to play for around 2+ hours, you could get into top ten as the number of the participant is lower than the first series
5349  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: May 14, 2020, 11:06:37 PM
Okay, so I'm wondering... in the "contest" you see these people who wager soooooo much money.
In just 14 days, the first one on the ranking has wagered over 323 BTC, which is roughly just over 3 million USD.

How do they do that? I mean, you must have an enormous amount of BTC in your account to be able to spend that on Multiply, you need a lot of guts to spend those amounts on Betting... I'm really puzzled... Sure, they win +2000 USD almost every day, but still. Can anyone explain?
That is a very simple question though because maybe they had a lot of money to play with.
But it doesn't mean the 3 million USD is the entire capital of course.

Expected loss on three million wagered is 150,000$, since Freebitcoin house edge is higher than average and is 5%

Freebitco.in was/is faucet site and it appears on top google search for free bitcoin or bitcoin for newbie . When you were a newbie in a crypto world and you see how easy it is to get bitcoin also at the same time you can gamble to get more , what would you expect? Most people will just gamble and once they lose, they might be curious to keep trying without any understanding of the house edge
5350  Economy / Economics / Re: Crisis after the epidemic on: May 14, 2020, 08:56:57 PM
I've just read these words from the WHO and it made me feel sad.

As new clusters emerge, WHO warns virus may be here to stay

A lot of us were affected, our families, jobs, businesses, living and many other important things to survive. But, we have to remain strong and firm and we shouldn't let ourselves feel that there's no hope. It's ok to be sad but we will survive.

Unless there is a vaccine then sadly everyone has a chance to be infected. The only thing we can do right now is to start a new life but with some safe health protocol to follow such as wearing mask whenever you go out. Things cant really go back to where it was immediately but things can definitely go slowly back to where it was

It might take few months or atleast year but atleast we could go back to it slowly
5351  Economy / Economics / Re: The pandemic outcome on: May 14, 2020, 07:52:34 PM
things are really going crazy. In some developing countries the price for essentials like foodstuffs are getting really high and people can't afford it, the governments are not doing much to support their citizens, and people are still losing their jobs on top lol.

The bitter fact is that you pay the country where you live, in term of tax but You cant expect the country to pay for your food because there are thousand or even more people that is suffering without food right now. If someone is still sitting down with their phone and internet connection that means he doesnt really need any help at all

Some people claimed they are poor but in fact they are just so much better than the majority homeless people that still has to beg for food from someone else or they wont be able to eat

5353  Economy / Economics / Re: Chinese Strategy? on: May 13, 2020, 09:48:41 PM
If China really took the lead in creating and disseminating this virus, would they want to sympathize with allied nations, especially Russia, for whom they have been so cruel? I heard on the radio news this morning that the virus and the Russian prime ministers have also been infected. It's just sad to think that many are still infected and not finished.

There is a point here that when the crisis is over, China expects that they will be furious because they are to blame for this worldwide epidemic.

There is no point for China to keep everything for themselves. The whole world and country works is pretty much mutual in term of economy. Imagine how bad the economy will turn into if they keep the vaccine for themselves. Things could be bad for their economy as well assuming that another country is still heavily infected and those infection might sooner or later affect them

The only way to stop it is to lock everything down which means they are sacrificing their own economy to do that

* That assuming they really created a vaccine
5354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: May 13, 2020, 09:13:27 PM
So, this is not just about football at all, this is more about the city itself and if you want to play football in their city, you do need to go well with them, otherwise they could make the games a misery for you and they do have that right to do that. I think nothing will happen in the end tho.

He doesnt have any power to do that nor do he has any intention to do anything to it. Dont forget that once thing settle down and the whole world is free from the pandemic, the city will then be flooded by tons of fans again so that means a whole lot revenue for the city

Not sure what his intention is regarding his statement but I can guess is that either he is looking for a stage to talk about this stuff ( some attention seeking guy ) or he wants some money to be slipped into his pocket  Grin
5355  Economy / Gambling / Re: #2 Bitcointalk Poker Series (0.05 BTC & BIG BTC Ticket sponsored by SwC Poker) on: May 13, 2020, 01:56:50 PM
I noticed now its the same few people sitting there all the time. They are pro hoovers

Those guy are mostly the same as everyone that usually plays on the 750k guaranteed on sunday. Whoever that win the grand final will receive ticket to join the 750k guaranteed game . The vibe and tension could be very different there as those people could be considered as "pro"

We will have 5k starting stacks for the first time.

Nicely done Efialtis  Smiley

Lets see what kind of complaint that you will get next week . I kinda see that they are atleast some complaint in this second series after the 1st week regardless of how good the tournament was in the first series
5356  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Main Club Partner of Watford FC ⚽ Fun. 🏀 Fast. 🎾 Fair. on: May 12, 2020, 09:12:08 PM
It is interesting to see how people really think they are actually capable of having so much power when they do not. Sportsbet literally puts their name on the Watford jersey, a team that is playing on the most watched football league all over the world, literally premier league, probably every game there is at least a million people watching all over the world, and on most games a lot more.

Some newbie account comes here and says that "sportsbet is scam, anyone who defends them will be on this list and I will make a reputation topic about it as well!!". You know why? Cause you can't sue anyone when there is nothing wrong going on, so you think a bitcointalk topic is a big power move that you can do, which NOBODY would care about. Why don't you help us and tell us in detail what you think is wrong and we can work together to help you out and that way you will be happy and that is much better isn't it?

Most people just weird to begin with so yeah perhaps they could just be seeking for attention, butthurt or either have some real issue but I guess the later was out of the equation .

If I got some issue with the site, I wouldnt be sitting down infront of my computer and post in this forum. I would be sending my issue deep straight into their customer service to get things sorted out for real

Paid 6 million dollars for that sponsorship as well. Have been running for YEARS now, thousands of dollars given away, done a ton of charities as well.

Wow I never know that the amount is 6 million dollars
5357  Economy / Economics / Re: The pandemic outcome on: May 12, 2020, 06:54:51 PM
recently I realized that world economy and each country individually are profiting from investors and hodlers who live off of dividends and trading profits
simply because even if they are not investing in own country's company, they still are spending spare money in it

Not everyone could get some profit from trading , so even if someone trade regularly during the quarantine doesnt mean that he gets some profit. It could be the other way around and he lost some money

The first thing I will do is tighten up unnecessary spending. I will narrow the investment, collect the invested amounts to minimize the outside assets. I will also store strong foreign currencies like USD, CNY for hoarding. I would also buy Bitcoin and strong coins to invest, instead of investing in forex

Hoarding Some other currencies like USD , Euro or other currency doesnt mean you will be able to liquidify it anytime you want. There are alot of people that think like that so when it is time to liquidify everything then I expect your local money exchanger might not be able to take on all request ( different stuff if you hoard cryptocurrency lol )
5358  Economy / Economics / Re: Chinese Strategy? on: May 12, 2020, 03:16:36 PM
Well may sound true indirectly as a question about the true origin of the virus is still lingering and USA still accusing china of holding back information to that effect.

You know what the sad part is ? The whole world especially USA is still trying to accuse China for it instead of treating their own citizen. Although they spread is now slowing down and casualties decreased every single day but the threat for the humanity is still there

You can find the latest data here https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/

For now US is leading as #1 most casualties country and most deaths for now

Worldwide with 4,294,821 cases and 288,992 deaths ( around 25% came from US alone )

- Personally I didn't really care about late registration because after all - it's not generally an advantage to join even after 50 minutes, is it? ... Provided we are playing some nice poker, it shouldn't be. Still, I will talk with the hosts and see what we can do.

To clarify before I start writing this, I do agree to cut down the late registration or even have no late registration at all

You still needs to be lucky to get to the top spot  Roll Eyes

FOMA was there when I ( I am one of the late register player ) was down to 500 chips and all those big stacks keep pressuring me whenever I am paying the blind however lucky hands save my ass  Wink

I am almost out before I even got into top 10 lol, late registration doesnt really save your ass at all if you are not lucky  Grin

I just got lucky to be on the top spot this week and I could probably not going to make to the grand final lol as well. Even if someone "claimed" that they are better than most player , it doesnt means they will qualify for the grand final if they are not lucky

Even some of the top contender in the first series got shot out early on the game

Maybe but still not certain. The club may be able to force players just because they are still have contract but for some players who break contracts such as not wanting to play, the club will take decisive action and one of them is not paid.

From a different point of view, I seem to be rather supportive of players who refuse to play for health reasons which they must maintain when a pandemic situation still exists, and they must accept the consequences such as not being paid.

Some player may be able to force their own way to not play during this pandemic if they are superstar like Messi or Ronaldo but for majority of the player, they will need to play in accordance to their own contract. There isnt much to speculate right now unless there is some official news regarding this and how will they start the league
