5341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Investing In AltCoin Still Worth it in 2019? on: June 05, 2019, 12:09:17 PM
ETH has more apps and more companies using it,but that doesn't mean that the ethereum price is about to explode.ETH doesn't have limited supply,so the supply of new ETH can overcome the increased demand, hence the ethreum price will never reach above 1000 USD again.
5342  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Automated trading on: June 05, 2019, 11:59:49 AM
Hi everyone,

This is my first post…I tried browsing the forum, but couldn’t find info I needed.

Has anyone tried using automated software for trading? I’ve came across to these platforms. They both say they need their tokens to run..honestly I haven’t heard of these tokens before. One of them supports backtesting, and the other one has forward testing as well. What is your experience with this type of trading, or can you recommend something else I should take a look at..

1.   https://kryll.io/ - Supports trading on Binance, Bittrex and Liquid
2.   https://www.dapowerplay.com/services/dpp-platform - Supports trading on Binance, Bittrex, Bitstamp, HitBTC and Tokens

Thanks!

I think that such trading software requires API keys,in order to run properly with the desired platforms.
I've never used autotrading bots, because I don't do short term day trading. If you want to perform day trading and "scalping", some bot that runs 24/7 is mandatory.Otherwise, you don't need such tool
5343  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bonus or No Bonus? That is the Question... on: June 05, 2019, 11:56:51 AM
To be honest,I don't really care about casino bonuses, because they are just marketing hooks that are used short term.If you are a business owner, you can't simply build your entire business model on bonuses, discounts, rewards and free stuff. This will attract only the freebie seekers, while the players with money will choose the reputable casinos.
5344  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: KIK's Failure to Back Down has the SEC in a Catch 22 on: June 05, 2019, 06:38:01 AM
If the SEC could sue KIK for illegally raising money via an ICOs,this could happen to any US based company that used ICO to raise funds back in the day.ICOs are becoming more and more obsolete every day.
5345  Other / Off-topic / Re: Talking with a French blockchain entrepreneur on: June 05, 2019, 06:32:56 AM
What's the point of this thread?Just to find some people to talk to?
This sub-forum isn't very crowded,so I think it would be better to post such topic in "Altcoin discussion" forum, since you have experience with IOTA and tokenization.
5346  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto/Blockchain Related Stocks [LIST][BEING UPDATED/WIP] on: June 05, 2019, 06:09:26 AM
I've never heard anything about most of the companies in this list, except Nvidia,Microsoft,Overstock and Amazon. The crypto/blockchain related projects of those companies must have had very little impact on their stock prices, because crypto/blockchain development  is not their main business.
5347  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Prices for March 2018, March 2019 and March 2020 and why. on: June 05, 2019, 06:05:38 AM
Your predictions are so wrong,I can't stop laughing. Grin
Bitcoin will never grow at such scale. You should be way more conservative.
I expect bitcoin to reach 20K USD at 2020,not half a million.
5348  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-01-05] Twitter User Relates Owning 1 Bitcoin [BTC] To Having 700 Acres on: June 05, 2019, 05:48:15 AM
A recent tweet by Francis Pouliot have made the rounds and gotten almost everyone’s attention in the crypto community. In the tweet, Pouliot equates owning a bitcoin to owning 700 acres of landed property.

"Owning 1 Bitcoin is the equivalent, in scarcity terms, of owning 700 acres of land.— Francis Pouliot 🐂 (@francispouliot_) 1 June 2019"

Frances Pouliot is one of those contributing positively to see bitcoin gaining its most desired adoption. Pouliot is the CEO and co-founder of Bull Bitcoin, a Canadian-based firm. The firm claims to be Canadian’s alternative to Coinbase and Bitpay.

https://www.btcnn.com/opinion/twitter-user-relates-owning-1-bitcoin-btc-to-having-700-acres-of-land/

The price of land can vary a lot depending on different factors, such as location, quality, surrounding infrastructure, market demand for land in that particular country, etc.
I would say this is a pretty bad comparison.
5349  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is 1 Bitcoin equal to half million USD? on: June 05, 2019, 05:45:52 AM
So I was thinking.
According to Google, the 2013 estimates of total m2 money supply in US was 10.5 trillion. So if I owned 1 usd today that would be a so a very small percentage of the total number, yes?
But I can own 1 bitcoin today and that means I can own 0.0000048% of total btc supply..

If you think about it, 0.0000048% of total US m2 money would be 504,000 usd.. half a million

So can we say that 1 Btc = $500,000?

Lets discuss..

You are comparing apples with bananas here...
Your calculations and assumptions are completely wrong and this discussion is pointless.
The bitcoin price is the combination of btc mining costs+market supply&demand for bitcoins.
You can't compare it the m2 US supply.
5350  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Peter Brandt:$BTC appears to be stabilizing after the 12% break on Thursday. on: June 04, 2019, 05:39:27 PM
Apparently several analysts who predicted what would happen in 2017 are again predicting a rise to a little more than 9k, reaching 10k. But stability in this band for a long time. That is, it is quite probable that to buy in a fall can be profitable, even if it loses a small value momentarily.

Analysts.....

It doesn't take much of a skillset to figure out that we are likely to increase to $10,000 and halt below it for a while with how much of a psychological round price level it is. Fact of the matter is that these so called analysts only pop up to state the obvious because it increases the probability of their predictions to be right.

Aside from stating the obvious, I literally have no idea what the price will do. It wouldn't surprise me if it tanks back to sub $6000 levels, but similarly it wouldn't surprise me if it blasts through $10,000 just like how it blasted through $6000 not that long ago. I'm a happy hodler enjoying the current ride. Popcorn is what I'll be investing in with so much price action.  Cheesy

Analysts are getting paid to tell you what you already know.Haha... Grin
Being a crypto market analyst is probably the best job in the world. It doesn't require any skills(just a crystal ball) and you are good to go. Grin
5351  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-06-04] John McAfee To Roll Out ‘Freedom Coin’ Cryptocurrency This Fall on: June 04, 2019, 05:25:30 PM
Yes the title is not wrong, we'll hear that another altcoin has been created to increase the number of altcoin that already exist (many of those same altcoins that already exist are shitcoins)... But there is something that led me to make this post, and the reason why I made this post it is because of this:

“What is needed is a coin disconnected from fiat currencies and from other crypto currencies alike — a coin with zero cash-in value, yet accepted universally … It is not based on any commodity nor is it connected to the value or behavior of any external item or entity. The value of the coin will always be zero in relation to any other currency yet it's natural market value is free, completely, to grow.”

Source: https://cointelegraph.com/news/john-mcafee-to-roll-out-freedom-coin-cryptocurrency-this-fall

Can anyone understand something about what they wrote?

This is the most stupid cryptocurrency concept I've ever seen so far.A currency with zero value will be totally useless.John McAfee doesn't know how market economy works...or he's trying to scam people,by selling them thin air...
5352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tron founder Justin Sun announced the auction of buffett’s expensive lunch on: June 04, 2019, 05:22:36 PM
Could you please stop with the Justin Sun-Warren Buffet posts on the forum.
This topic is all over the place all day long.
Please just search and reply to the other forum threads regarding this topic.
5353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Dump: Pure Whale Manipulation on: June 04, 2019, 05:04:29 PM
If the btc price dump is manipulated by the whales, then this is kinda good news.I will consider it bad news,if there is a bearish trend coming.
The btc price might return to the bullish trend organically, without any push coming from some whales(if they stop with the mass selling,of course).
5354  Economy / Exchanges / Re: USD, KRW, GBP withdrawals via Skrill are available on CoinDeal on: June 04, 2019, 05:01:14 PM
A Good news Indeed!!!

Skrill is a Global payment processor and with coindeal able to add skrill as an alternative payment option is great for crypto community. The charges for withdrawal are a bit higher. That's okay if they are allowing  USD, KRW and GBP.

I can't be so exited, because Skrill is almost the same as PayPal.They block accounts for nothing,if the account holder can't prove the origin of the money.People should use Skrill with caution.
5355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No knowledge is lost. on: June 04, 2019, 12:19:19 PM
Please my fellow crypto friends I need answers badly about ICO and none ICO projects . my question to you all is
Why are projects with NO ICO always do better than the ones who were actually funded from ICO ? Projects with no funds or whatso ever should be the ones facing what ICO projects are facing excluding scams ones

There's no proof that "non-ICO" projects "always" perform better than ICO projects. From where did you heard this?It doesn't matter if the project is ICO,STO or IEO.The important factors are the transparency and quality of the dev team, the idea and goal  of the project and the control mechanisms so the investors won't get scammed.
5356  Other / Off-topic / Re: Dumb question for Android user on: June 04, 2019, 12:16:00 PM
Which is preferred method to backup Android phone? I am always backing them in PC instead of cloud service like Google Drive. What's your thought on this?

I have an Android device and I can't back it up on PC so Google Drive is my only option.
Why are you asking?Do you have any issues with your android device?
5357  Economy / Speculation / Re: Long term advance notice! on: June 04, 2019, 12:05:03 PM
I like how Craig Wrights starts the post with "We (I)"...
It makes me think that he believes in himself to be the GOD of bitcoin, the ultimate crypto dictator.
Freakin' megallomanic... Grin
Anyway, his plans to ruin btc went in the trash.
5358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Justin Sun + Warren Buffet = ??? on: June 04, 2019, 11:47:25 AM
This guys both have controversial characters in blockchain community each one for its own reasons, but what could come out from their lunch?

What could Sun need so bad from the guy that he payd 4.5m?

Sun didn't pay Buffet 4.5M USD.He will spend the money for charity.
I really doubt that Justin Sun can achieve anything other than meeting Warren Buffet in person. Grin
5359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PR in Crypto World on: June 04, 2019, 06:53:27 AM
What kind of organic/paid promotions are successful for any crypto project? What will attracts you? For example influencers, facebook, twitter, IG, Youtube, blogs? What will get your attention?

Nothing.I became numb about all types of online advertising and I also have banner blindness. Grin
I don't trust influencers(lots' of them are scammers) and any form of social media or PPC ads.
Advertising has little to do PR,I think.
5360  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you dream big? on: June 04, 2019, 06:50:29 AM
Dreaming big is really not a bad thing in fact its what keeps you alive IF YOU HAVE THE COURAGE TO SET AUDACIOUS GOALS
THAT IS WHAT WILL KEEP YOU ALIVE .
Its the only way you will never run out of MOTIVATION
and then it becomes your mission to make it a reality.

DARE TO DREAM BIG .

I can't agree with that.Dreaming big isn't connected with motivation at all.
I have big dreams but no motivation and I always end up daydreaming and not getting things gone and actually not achieving anything.
