You ignore Chartbuddy? I consider Richy_T's bot to be perhaps the most valuable poster here. To group it in with a bunch of trolls is unfair IMHO.

...the fad is over...
There was a fad? I always thought Bitcoin was fairly obscure.
|
|
|
I was just thinking... like, if everyone in the world wanted to have just one Bitcoin, how much would my bitcoin be worth?
if everyone in the world wanted just one bitcoin, how many would you want? Well look who dropped in. Hi Adam. Is this a sign?

You are trying to fud people to believe that it's Citadel itself buying GBTC as a big deal, which is incorrect!
Is that FUD ? Isn't that more like HOB ? (Hope, Optimism & Belief) (if anyone can think of a good "E" to swap for Belief then go for it, HOE beats HOB) Expectation? ____ Some people use FUD as a general term for propaganda, not thinking about what the acronym stands for. Obviously trying to influence people in a positive manner is neither fear, uncertainty nor despair.

Pass the dutchie man
The stewpot or the donut? A donut would go well with the Mocha-Java but I wouldn't say no to a kutchie either.

Good morning Bitcoinland. A wee dip down last night I see, and halfway back up to where we were at this time yesterday. Still basically sideways. All the GBTC kerfuffle seems to have had pretty much no effect. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fi664.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fvv10%2FJimboToronto%2FFullCityRoast1.jpg&t=663&c=nJ0XTmSDX6ixuw) Mmmm...

Good morning Bitcoinland.
Still around $240 I see. No appreciable dip to buy on and no rise to celebrate (yet).
Just another flat-line Monday.
Ho hum. Coffee please...

It's nice to see them differentiate between bitcoins and Bitcoin, between the vehicle of speculation and the transfer network. GS's investment in Bitcoin is a clear endorsement of the value of the network and as the value of Bitcoin increases, the price of bitcoins will surely follow, albeit much more slowly. Short-term, this news won't make much difference to the price. Long-term it's very bullish.

Good morning Bitcoinland.
I see a small rise up over $240. This is good.
I also see a tiny dip back down toward the $230s again. This is to be expected.
This could go either way.
Coffee please, Mocha-Java, full city roast, one generous handful per cup, 18% cream and pure cane sugar. Mmmm...

This is what a gazillionaire drives: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fphotos1.blogger.com%2Fblogger%2F4965%2F683%2F1600%2FCarscoop%2520Volga%2520Roadster%25209%2520.jpg&t=663&c=LcrQ0qpOkq-etw) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fphotos1.blogger.com%2Fblogger%2F4965%2F683%2F1600%2FCarscoop%2520Volga%2520Roadster%25201%2520.0.jpg&t=663&c=QV7xX5AyzUq6wg) Gazillionaires drive? I thought they could afford chauffeurs.

Good morning Bitcoinland.
Still futzing along sideways in the $230s I see. Yawn.
What would be a nice is a little 50k series of buys to properly bump the price up and squeeze the shorters, but that's almost as unlikely as sub-$200 coins.
More likely we'll see more of the same with a possible temporary dip into the $220s or rise into the $240s.
Still, sideways is good, at least for those not paying usurious interest rates for margin trading. People who incur debt to gamble probably deserve to lose their money though.
Caffeine, do your stuff...

Good morning Bitcoinland.
Still over $230 I see. A little sideways after each step up is a good thing.
With month-end expenses to pay, this is a bad time to allocate funds to buying dips anyway. _____
Happy International Workers' Day everyone.
Do self-employed people and employers count as workers? They probably work at least 3 times as hard as employees.
I may be an old age pensioner but I still work my butt off.

Good morning Bitcoinland.
Been away for a few days and I missed the buying opportunity under $220. Oh well, I'll just have to wait for the next dip.
Nice to see last night's little rise to over $230 again. Will it last this time?

I admit to having created this account to voice a dissenting opinion. I've been on the forum since 2012, am not a noob. Due to being disillusioned with btc, I am now warning noobs to stay away from btc, the siren call. It will ruin your life, just like it did to countless others here.
If you've been here since 2012 and you haven't made a lot of money and you're not holding a lot of bitcoins, you're doing something wrong. Even if you sold a lot of $10 coins when the price hit $100, you should still have hundreds or thousands left to hold. Or are you one of those bears who thought that bitcoins were overpriced in the $5-$10 range, expected them to go back down under a dollar and never bought while they were cheap? Perhaps if you spent less time worrying about the "countless others" who supposedly "ruined their lives" and more time getting your own affairs in order then maybe you could have joined the countless others who made a lot of money with Bitcoin since 2012.

Good morning Bitcoinland.
Still going sideways, unless you're the sort of bear who sees $3 as a massive dump. I do see that a few of those took the $3 dip as an excuse to get their posts deleted.
It did dip below $230 after a half week over. Let's see how long that lasts. Last real volume was on Tuesday and that was a rise. Ho hum.
Mmmm coffee.

|
|
Good morning Bitcoinland.
Still over $230 I see. Maybe we'll stay there despite the inevitable correction/retracement after yesterday's small rise.
Profits are bound to be taken but the market seems less prone to panicking on any dump.
Must... grind... beans...
Mmmm.

ITS GOING BACK DOWN!!!
It is?

Last chance to get some cheap coins people. You really should be buying right now.
don't you think they'll get much cheaper? With the - Winkledouch ETF Gemini Exchange Barry's Exchange NY Bitlicense Summer 2016 halving All around the corner I don't think we'll get much cheaper than this for very long. People are going to regret not building up a healthy stash of BTC by this time next year. We've had a year of artificially low prices. If you haven't built up a healthy stash by now, then shame on you.

And so starts the biggest rally in bitcoin history.
Let's not get ahead of ourselves. A $9 rise is hardly the sign of a huge rally. I wouldn't start posting rocket train GIFs quite yet, even if the mods were allowing them. This could just as easily go back down as further up.
