I can't find the thread you started where people explain why they have added so-and-so onto their trust list.
You mean Reference topic: Why are these members excluded on trust lists?

Quote
It doesn't appear to be on this list of yours (or your LN thread for example) - can you help?
I didn't list all my topics here, only the ones directly related to Bitcointalk data.

Hey thanks for the links, couldn't quite recall the thread's name.
5362  Economy / Reputation / Re: Reference topic: Why are these members excluded on trust lists? on: August 28, 2019, 03:42:33 PM
My distrust list has been paired down considerably since my previous post and now looks like this:

Code:
~asche
~BenTheAnonMod
~bill gator
~BitcoinSupremo
~Bleutrade
~cryptohunter
~Cyrus
~defcon23
~EcuaMobi
~El-Cezeri
~erikalui
~Erkallys
~exstasie
~Gleb Gamow
~gospodin
~Hhampuz
~hilarious*
~hilariousandco
~hilariousetc
~Kalemder
~kano
~Lafu
~Lauda
~logictense
~marlboroza
~mexxer-2
~monbux
~peloso
~PHI1618
~Phinnaeus Gage
~Quickseller
~The-One-Above-All
~Tomatocage
~Vispilio
~VonSpass
~YuTü.Co.in
~Zeroxal
~Zin-Zang

All the rest that were removed are mostly inactive alts or, have little or no merits.  Let that one sink in for a moment...

The new additions appear to be part of an attempt to get an unknown user into the DT1 with Vispilio on 250+ merits after begging for merits he then didn't hand out but did give dozens of merits out in bulk to El-Cezeri, Kalemder, PHI1618 and gospodin which makes up half of the ten needed for an unknown user to be voted into DT1 similar to the 550+ merits wasted trying to get someone onto DT1 a few weeks back.

Nice 1, how much would you ask for it, if you were selling?
Bitcoin 101: your Bitcoins are only yours if you and only you know the private keys! You should never rely on a private key generated by a third party.

Very true - eight alpha/numeric take weeks and weeks to do - I have literally hundreds of words or combinations that I've searched for - alas I haven't had my graphics cards going for many months now due to the boxes age, but am planning on getting a new install with all new cards etc.

You *can* get custom ones that long done using split key.   As to price... I really would have to wait until I have a new box made up and see what kind of length of time a solution would take.

Yet another example for @theymos about how broken the merit font/source is...

...

I've archived all 19 posts as they stand, so they can be referenced for accuracy of my assertions.  (via the Wayback Machine )

You received 95 merits for the OP.

Of the 19 examples you gave, you have, in the two months given just seven of the examples one merit each. (one post received two merits)

Three of the posts are by yourself (which you did not disclose - unsurprisingly, just one received merit)

Six of the posts have zero merits two months on.

Nine posts have received four merits each from suchmoon. (just five of those posts you give merit to)

One post (by you) is for a gambling site (888TRON.COM - oyna ve kazan!) - [tron888.com Archive]

95-8=87 merits you haven't given out to these (19 - (your three posts you can't merit yourself) = 16 posts)

Your BPIP score says you gave these people the lion's share of the merits you went cap in hand to acquire...

  • El-Cezeri    16    49
  • gospodin    9    24
  • Kalemder    11    21
  • PHI1618    3    20

who are all either identified or suspected of merit abuse/signature alt abuse in this thread started a couple of days ago which you for no apparent reason join in the discussion to give glowing references for the two El-Cezeri and Kalemder the subjects of the accusation.

You acquire the merits by sweet talking merit sources too lazy to follow the links for themselves, hand out the cocaine merits and the most likely alts then pass the joints around.

What's worse is the 95 merits you acquired count towards any DT voting for anyone you, or those merits you handed out vote up.

Worse still, you're now 250+ merits, so your 250 plus the above four count as half way to voting someone else into the DT1 position.

@suchmoon gave out a combined 55 merits on your say-so and @darkstar_ gave you 50 merits in one single handout, yet there was no follow up.

Both the accounts are most probably alts of each other under many evidence's you mentioned above, but I would also like to add, both of them are merit fans of each other, one of the top merit senders and receivers of each other as you can see here:

Kalemder : https://bpip.org/profile.aspx?p=Kalemder

El-cezeri : https://bpip.org/profile.aspx?p=El-Cezeri

This also takes them to merit abuse. Eventhough, if they are participating in the same bounty with alts, they should be banned sooner.
[/quote]

@LoyceV would say they are merit backscratchers - there's certainly plenty of high end DT users who've given eachother merit.  It's inconclusive.

However

On these merit pages

  • Sent by Kalemder - http://loyce.club/Merit/history/487377.html

    • El-Cezeri receives 19 merits
    • mhanbostanci receives 8 merits
    • onurgozupek receives 5 merits
    • gospodin receives 3 merits
    • Matthias9515 receives 6 merits
  • Sent byEl-Cezeri - http://loyce.club/Merit/history/1277439.html

    • Kalemder receives 8 merits
    • mhanbostanci receives 1 merit
    • PHI1618 receives 1 merit
    • Hey there Delilah receives 1 merit
    • gospodin receives 2 merits
    • Matthias9515 receives 4 merits

onurgozupek was tagged by me in February 2018:

Quote
onurgozupek u=948010 and koinli u=1185635 both using the same telegram @onurgozupek in different signature campaigns simultaneously.

http://archive.is/DXbCa#selection-2313.0-2493.62

I can't recall why mhanbostanci crossed my desk, by their UID shows up on my list.  (Having said that they have no trust wall Red Paint ™)

gospodin gives Matthias9515 and otto_diesel Trust Wall feedback:

Amongst a whole lot of other merits given out Matthias9515 gives merits to: http://loyce.club/Merit/history/1018510.html

  • El-Cezeri receives 1 merit
  • Kalemder receives 4 merits
  • mhanbostanci receives 4 merits
  • gospodin receives 14 merits

Matthias9515 receives merits from:

  • El-Cezeri gives 4 merits
  • Kalemder  gives 7 merits
  • mhanbostanci gives 6 merits
  • gospodin gives 14 merits

otto_diesel also sends and receives merits from some of the above, but there is no evidence to suggest otto_diesel or Matthias9515 are involved in a merit-go-round with El-Cezeri and Kalemder in much the same way the DT1's give each other 50 merits for frivolous posts slamming the latest butt of their jokes.

You probably should have mentioned that you have started a Turkish language version of this same post here: The Kuzenim Yazmış https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5174160.0 and have locked the thread. (and in this same section - reputation you have also created a thread Alt accounts and signature abusing on Local forum https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5178814.0 with exactly the same information as your post here.

EFS is a moderator of that Turkish section and you should contact him (and also unlock the thread so that EFS and others can post opinions concerning the thread).

It's interesting that El-cezeri has given you merit for your post, especially given you have created a new user ID (UID) to report these goings on.  Be aware giving your alt merits is frowned upon.

I've archived the various posts you reference via the Wayback Machine https://web.archive.org/ whenever you are gathering any kind of evidence it's always best to archive as you go along.  Your accused two aren't very bright as they haven't attempted to delete their posts (which I can't read).

5374  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptopia Cryptocurrency Platform Services and Development on: August 26, 2019, 12:42:26 AM
No one don't want to follow their updates on some service.
We just want to see the working exchange and turn back our liquidity and assets.
Or... We will just do mining and trading some another coins on another exchanges.
But that assets will not give - nothing, for them all, but only give the problems - in future...

From the above link we can glean the following faults with Cryptopia's handling of Customer's accounts:

Quote
We now have possession of Cryptopia data that was stored by a third-party data centre in the United States, and since the last update have been successful in accessing that data. This is a very pleasing step towards determining customer holdings, as the data contained the only records of Cryptopia’s customer holdings and certain crypto-assets were only stored on these servers.

Quote
Determining customer holdings

We appreciate that customers are wondering why it is taking so long for us to determine customer holdings. There are two main reasons for the time and complexity of the process:

  • Customers did not have individual wallets and it is impossible to determine individual ownership using just the keys in the wallets.
  • No detailed reconciliation process between the customer databases and the crypto-assets held in the wallets has ever been completed.

Quote
While our reconciliation process is progressing well, we still require direction from the New Zealand Courts before we can return crypto-assets to customers. The information outlining the legal process included in the last communication are still current and is below.

Quote
The KYC process cannot be avoided, it is a legal requirement in New Zealand, and prior to returning crypto-assets we will correspond with customers as to how this process will be completed. Please note, customers who have previously completed the KYC process with Cryptopia will still need to go through the process set by us.

OK?

I guess I'm taking requests now Cheesy
IsTimelord2067onDTyet.tk

Small disclaimer: I only check for DT2. Theymos blacklisted Lauda, so there was no need to add it. Timelord2067 is 2 inclusions away from DT1, so I'll just add this to my TODO list.

I guess tmfp was joking, but obviously there's no use for a very long list. This topic was a bit of a joke (although the website is real). I'm now waiting for the first changes to show up, I expect that to happen when theymos updates DT1 next week.

I guess after that discussion we had via PM where you pointed out I'm not on DT2 because six seven DT1's distrust me that even if I were to get one more merit+10 trust (thanks TwitchySeal BTW) I end up being:

Yes, but no...

or something similar...  Roll Eyes
5376  Other / Meta / Re: User got voted into DT1 by sockpuppets on: August 24, 2019, 12:10:47 PM
I see no particular evidence of Bazinga442 being an alt, but the other six five (edit: zin-zang may not be part of this circle) are all the same person. They will be blacklisted from the DT selection system in the future. Haven't decided whether this abuse warrants a forum ban.

How did they get 10 merit? (I don't have time to look into this right now.)

10 merit is difficult enough IMO. I don't want it to be too difficult. Any other suggestions? We could just keep an eye on it and respond reactively to cases like this.

Edit:

After some investigation, this is a circle of 58 accounts, most of which have 10+ merit. IDs:
2061631

(snip)

They're all now excluded from the DT selection process, so if the goal was to manipulate DT, someone blew ~580 sMerit in order to ultimately fail doing so.

My trust list today looks like this:

I see this thread is being referenced by TheNewAnon135246 for a flag against TradeFortress (said flag was created many weeks ago) where TheNewAnon135246 was personally damaged by an actual transaction between the two...

At one point TheNewAnon135246 seemed to be defending TradeFortress:

[Archive]

There's no way he can give everyone a full refund, because he doesn't have 4000 BTC for himself. He's doing the best he can by giving away his personal funds, so imo he deserves a little respect.

You are kidding right?

It's pretty obvious he has 4100 Bitcoins of OUR BITCOINS  Roll Eyes

[Archive]

He can't spend what he doesn't have right? He's probably giving away his personal btc's to cover for the losses. Like I said, he could've just dissapeared if he wanted to but he decided to stay and try to fix most of the problem. People should concider that a bit more instead of flaming him like a bunch of retards.

(there are many, many more examples where TheNewAnon135246 comes to TradeFortress' defence - these are just a couple of examples)

[Archive]

he is backing him up because that's TF shill account
No it's not. If you don't believe you can ask a moderator to compare IP's. I'm not even from the same continent Tongue.

I'm not backing anyone up, I just refuse to draw my own conclusion until some decent facts are on the table.

VPN's aside for a moment...  Roll Eyes

So, given the OP has been offline for two and a half years and TheNewAnon135246 was defending TradeFortress - any updates on this issue?

I'm now only using Bluewallet (custodial), it has less problems than my own channels had. I'm hoping this will chance once LN matures, at least this wallet doesn't tell me I can't send a payment.

ZAP doesn't recognise tippin requests, one of my eclair wallets can't find a path, while the other found a path to tippin straight away.

Almost OT

My two eclair testnet wallets have numerous channels, but neither of them seems to have any traffic despite some inbound being available.  (I've got ~6 BTC combined and even bought inbound (which never seemed to appear) I can go up to ~100 BTC of testnet coins, but creating that many channels with a max of 0.1677721 each is tedious)

If you hear of any testnet LN wallets for PC I'd appreciate it if you could let me know.  I could definitely get something going that doesn't disconnect whenever the screen saver is activated in the same way Eclair does.
