Arsenal have become a big disappointment about their title goal in only a few weeks. They got three draws in the games they could have won normally. The defensive issues caused them big issues. If they won those games and lost points to Manchester City only then it wouldn't have been a big problem for them. But now they are on the brink of losing the lead.
I still hope to see Arsenal winning the rest of their games at least to maintain their championship chance as much as possible. They should definitely be winning against Chelsea up next. But it feels like Manchester City will win their missing games and not lose the lead after taking it back until the end.
Since the start of the season, Arsenal has played with so much determination and hunger to win the English Premier League title that's eluded since 9 years ago but how they've lost focus and that winning mentality in the last four matches has remain a mystery to many especially the club fans. In the past 9 years of not winning the English Premier League title, they've never come this close which will make it a very bad experience for the fans of the club not to finally see their club lift the EPL trophy after such an exciting season. Barcelona's victory now seems absolutely obvious, Real Madrid have other headaches to think about (see Manchester)
Honestly as I said before, in my humble opinion, if Real Madrid get through to the semi-final they've practically won the cup. This semi-final has the flavor of a final.
Madrid has high faith and confidence so they make sure they focus more on the UCL because they believe they can win the UCL again this season so they are not consistent in the league, but it is different from Manchester City while they focus on almost all domestic league competitions and also UCL, I know it might tire Manchester City players but Guardiola might want to instill in their players to have a winning mentality in all competitions, I believe Manchester City deserves to win the league this season more than Madrid. If Madrid fail in the UCL then they will also not get a league title except for the Copa Del Rey which still has a chance because it will play in the final against Osasuna even though on paper Madrid can be sure of winning the Copa Del Rey. To be honest, this season Real Madrid is not too convincing to win the Champions League, that's if I compare the performance between them and Manchester City. It is undeniable that Manchester City deserves more to win, once again if we look at the comparison between the two. But we know that Real madrid are a team that can always pull off big surprises, and that could happen in this match. I think the only thing that's not cool about Real Madrid this season is the fact that they've invested more energy in the UEFA Champions League than the domestic Spanish La Liga competition and I said it is not a very wise idea because there's no certainty that they're gonna win the European Cup this season as they'll even face the strongest team in the competition this season in the semi finals. If Madrid fails to win the Champions League and probably ends the season with his the Copa Del Rey, then this season is not gonna be counted as good season for the trophy laden club |

It is rumored that Atletico and Barcelona want to swap their players, namely Yannick Carasco and Ferran Torres. Actually this is an advantage for Atletico to be able to get Ferran Torres at a relatively young age and Barcelona seem to prefer Yannick Carasco who has more experience with his age which is almost touching 30 years soon. On the other hand, this is clearly a loss for Barcelona if he does this swap considering that Ferran Torres is actually still very good for the depth of the Barcelona squad, it's just that maybe he doesn't meet Xavi's expectations. What do you think, is this swap really worth it for both teams?
If this happens then this will indeed be a loss for Barcelona again because considering the price of Ferran when he was bought from Manchester City it was 55 million but indeed since he was given the trust to play until now, Ferran has failed to display good performance for Barcelona even though his position still has to change and lose competitiveness by Gavi who wasn't even in that position. If this swapping finally happens, I think Atletico Madrid are gonna make more profits from the deal and that's because of the age and total performance of the two players that are involved. Union Berlin is third in the Bundesliga points table. The team managed to perform fairly well. But the Union Berlin side are just a few points behind Bayern Munich and Dortmund. If the team had some quality players then the team would have been able to perform better.

They underestimated their opponent because they were doing well until the situation changed, and Tottenham took advantage of their chance to make sure they added another goal. They built up the pressure during the first half but couldn’t continue and lost the momentum gathered from th first half. They truly seemed to be a ease and probably thought Spurs couldn’t turn things around and comeback from being two goals down. Two goals isn’t actually that difficult to recover from for a motivated team and Spurs proved it in this game. I also observed there were some good chances for both sides to score more goals. Manchester United should have rode on the first half win to get the three points at the end of the final whistle. I do not think that Manchester United players underestimated the Tottenham players. There is not how you are going to undermine a team that has three star players are different: namely; Richardson, Kane and Son. One of the major problems of Manchester United this ending of the season is the coach has wrong substitution mentality. I remember, when he makes these changes problems arose in the team, He did it the last match and he did it again this much, and he has done it, a couple of matches, he should learn to stick with his plan to the end of the game, and not make unnecessary changes in the midfield and defense to scatter everything. |

Milan have done a really great job so far in the Champions League unlike their general Serie A performance. They can even qualify for the final round now. In the meantime Rafael Leao has been one of the most impressive players of the team. His contribution level with goals and assists to his team has been at a significant rate until now. This must have attracted the attention of some big teams already.
Right now, he has a contract running until June 2024. This is a pretty close date as there is only around a year left. I wonder if Milan have started negotiations for a new contract already. They had better do so because it would be really difficult to keep him in the team otherwise. It isn't a big deal for rich teams to spend amounts like 100 million euros or so on skilled players like this. We might even see at least one team making an offer and trying their chance this summer.
I would personally wants to see a Champions League finals of an English team versus an Italian team ir a Spanish team versus an Italian team. For some recent times, the finals have always been between the Spanish team and the english team. With the level of form that both Madrid.and Manchester City has, I know, it will be a fierced match for the giants of Italy, but since it is a final, anything can happen. The Champions League can't just depend on one player. even though messi is a sensational player but depending on Messi in the Champions League and blaming him when he fails is a condition that is quite childish I think.
This requires team harmony and not just an individual thing when it comes to bigger competitions.

I can't wait between the meeting between Real Madrid and Manchester City. City will certainly be disappointed by last season when they were unbelievably knocked out by Madrid, but can Madrid pull that off again this season? City are playing very well at the moment. Few teams can resist them at this point. Arsenal didn't stand a chance against City in the EPL yesterday either. Inter and AC Milan both seem pretty hopeless for the title to me. I wonder what kind of plans Barcelona have for next season. As they are really close to declaring their La Liga title for this season people will eye them the most for next one. Xavi has been doing a really good job in the La Liga so far however his main problem has been with the Champions League.
The plan should make Barcelona squad stronger by signing more top players. If they target to win UCL title for the next season, Barcelona squad must play more consistently and have better squad quality. Barcelona attackers and defenders need to strengthen, they seem not really convincing. Xavi needs to start taking the right steps to be successful in the Champions League as well. I wonder if one of these steps would be to sign Messi back in the summer. As you might have heard Messi doesn't have an intention to extend with PSG for now. Who knows maybe we can see a deal between Barcelona and him.
Does signing Messi guarantee the UCL title? And Why Xavi must sign Messi again even though he already has a lot of quality young players? I think Xavi doesn't need to sign Messi, he must prioritize for young players. If he wants to sign top strikers, he is better to sign young strikers like Osimhen. I new it will probably end in a draw cuz Tottenham for long asnt won any match and Playing home today I news they were not going to let Manchester united go easily with a 3 point. As a Gunners fan, I had predicted this would happen. but, nevertheless I still support my favorite team. unfortunately in this match, Arteta really lost tactics. In addition, several Arsenal back line players could not be played due to injury. so, it's only natural that the Gunners fall by City. after all, City played in front of their own supporters.
Before, as said. the absence of several defensive line players is very crucial for Arsenal. plus, I see the lack of metallity of the Gunners' young squad. one more, since Trossard is back to being a second tier player, and G.Jesus is back to being a starter. this is where the starting point is there is a change in the game. I'm not saying G.Jesus played badly, because, since Trossard has been a centre-forward. Arsenal's game is more creative, every rotation, transition, is done with a fast system. So, we'll have to wait and see what happens in the upcoming matches. Arsenal loss to Man City by 4-1 is very sad as a top team for Arsenal. De Bruyne scored 2 goals alone and he scored one just 7 minutes into the game and adding another one in 54 minutes. and the last goal was from Haaland at 90+5' which was a great goal. Man City's performance was really good today which helped them beat Arsenal by a long goal margin. Manchester City is now only 2 points behind Arsenal and will soon overtake Arsenal to reach the first position and it looks like Manchester City will win the Premier League this year as well. I was surprised at seeing the result. Not for the fact that Manchester City won the match, but for that, they won with 4 goals to 1 goal. I know Arsenal is not in good shape, but conceding 4 goals is what I didn't expect from them. Manchester City had complete dominance in this match from the first half of the game and yet ended it well. With their performance against Attetta, I don't think Guardiolla will soon be losing against any team in England. |

Tottenham has recorded just two wins in the last 6 matches in EPL. They most shocking of all is the 6-0 lose against Newcastle. With their current condition, playing against Manchester united is a worrisome game for them cuz Manchester united is currently in far better shape than them. Today's game is very important for Manchester United to overthrow Newcastle which I believe it wouldn't be a hard thing for them against Tottenham. But I am expecting Tottenham to have a goal in this match since they will be playing in home.

If Bayern Munich can't take the lead back from Dortmund and finish the season at their current position then I don't think Tuchel should be blamed for this. Because he has just arrived here in the end. He didn't have much time to make his system run like clockwork. Nagelsmann didn't have a very good run in the Bundesliga which caused Dortmund and Union Berlin to keep up for a long time. I think there is no way Tuchel are getting sacked in case of a failure about winning the league title this season.
Tuchel should be given a big amount of time next season to see what changes for this team. Besides Bayern Munich didn't even want to fill Lewandowski's place and they went on with Choupo-Moting instead. I expect Tuchel to want a big transfer for the position to strengthen the lineup more. Lewandowski was making a huge impact so they should be able to sign a player who can make a similar impact.
Still, he will definitely be affected by this, but when he says about criticism, the higher-ups should get more criticism because from the start Tuchel existed thanks to the top officials of the club there. There are still 9 games to go and anything could happen but for now it's clear Bayern can't afford to drop points back hoping Dortmund slip up just once for the game they are running. No body was expecting things to be like this with Bayern Munich under the management of Thomas Tuchel. Some seasons are like that, u don't expect things to speedily go well with him the way it happens when he arrived at chelsea. Tuchel will do well when give time and moreover, I still see Nayern as a favourable side to win the Bundesliga this season. |
