5361  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fueling to launch to the moon anytime soon. on: August 23, 2020, 09:25:00 PM
Some traders want the Bitcoin price lowered to fill their bags and get on board. And the person who has got Bitcoin at the bottom is ready with all the possibilities for an increase in the Bitcoin price. Whenever the Bitcoin price rises and whatever ATH can be obtained, at least we have participated in becoming Bitcoin holders.

This is a story of some crying while others are laughing. But those who are crying for price to fall so they can fill their bags have always seen price begging to pump for a long time. Cryptocurrency surely is for people who have believe for its growth. They fill the bag at the time they should.

5364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to call the people into crypto on: August 23, 2020, 04:55:31 PM

Do you think now is the right time to call the people into crypto world?

Don't.
Free investment advice without request is terrible.
If you advice people to buy crypto and the price goes down, you will lose a friend.

Just talk about crypto , but don't call them to invest.

Maybe you can ask a friend who owns  a company yto accept bitcoin as payment and help him with that. But don't call people to invest.

Bitmover has really said the mind of a real crypto enthusiast. You don't force someone into any kind of business, you just let the person decide. For cryptocurrency particular, let the money you make speak for you and that will encourage people to ask you how you are making your money and living your life. Surely you know that failure has no followers but success has many people queuing to attach to the story.
5365  Other / Serious discussion / 10 habits to maintain good health on: August 23, 2020, 01:59:07 PM
I was searching for how to live a healthy life and I stumbled on this article below.

I think it really covers all we need to stay healthy while we age gracefully.

Meanwhile, Number 1 says: Build your plate around healthy choices. This is slamming everything thing to our face really. You live a healthy live with natural foods, you enjoy your health in old age as simple as that. Grin

And number 7: Wash your hands.
Just like keeping a good hygiene huh.... and avoid contacting bacteria, virus etc to your system.

Also , to limit alcohol and help your internal organs.

That's a healthy link for our benefit I think so. Read full details here

https://www.populytics.com/blog/10-habits-maintain-good-health/

Stay natural , live moderately. Enjoy the week all.
5366  Other / Serious discussion / Re: I'm seriously concerned about the money being stuffed down the vaccine toilet. on: August 23, 2020, 01:10:11 PM
(oops did you not know the bible abolished gays and marriage outside of wedlock purely due to STI epidemics)

Grin lol but I have a different view to why the bible frowns at gay marriage.

1. Because it doesn't lead to procreation. Meaning a man can not impregnate a follow man by ejaculation, neither would a woman be able to do so too.

2. God created all animal in male and female for purpose of procreation and sexual satisfaction.

3. It is immoral and not biblical because in creation, God created male and female and mandated them to be fruitful. Genesis 1: 27-28
5367  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What has bitcoin done for you? on: August 22, 2020, 09:24:56 PM
Bitcoin has given us control to hodl our money by ourselves and in the kind of wallet we choose. We can also trade for profit. Being lucky to join signature is also another benefit because you get rewarded with bitcoin that you can hodl for increase.
5368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bubbalex and Cartesi team kept to bounty promise, thumbs up on: August 22, 2020, 08:55:35 PM
Cartexi success makes Bubbalex name become popular and now DIA follows the cartexi step, This guy is so great to choose the project.
I hope in the next time bubblex can bring another profitable bounty, many hunters now are tired about scam and fail

Don't just be a part of a bounty just because of the bounty manager,
Agree, but i think good track record is very influential, he can identify a good project.

I think he has done well so far with the bounties he has handled. I know he has handled two, that's cartesi and dia, I don't know of any other he did. I'm sure his next bounty will be of value too because he does rush in selective his bounty.
5369  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Restaurant convert entire savings to Bitcoin on: August 21, 2020, 04:40:10 PM
While it's a very very risky move if they're willing to convert it due to the pandemic, I get what they feel. Restaurants have been pretty brutally affected by the pandemic and as an owner of one, having to close indoor activities (here in Romania at least) and lessening the amount of tables and chairs for outdoor restaurants have drastically lowered down their earnings. BUT, is it the best idea to take it all and push it into BTC? It's quite risky considering BTC isn"t considered a safe haven asset necessarily, isn't it?

I think that is not a very reasonable decision. To push money to bitcoin is good at the surface level if you are looking at the profit to come but what if the bear take over at the time?
Diversification is good but not to channel every thing into bitcoin.

This could be the frustration from the effect of covid-19 of no sale.
5370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The best Altcoin Projects still trading below the US Dollar on: August 21, 2020, 09:59:06 AM
In my opinion there are 3 solid projects still trading below the US Dollar that will eventually trade higher than $1.

You are thinking the wrong way.

Market capitalization is what is importnat here.

ripple for example is worth only 0.30, while chainlink is worth 16.00.

But XRP marketcap is nearly 3 times bigger than chainlink. This means, that if both had the same amouint of circulation coins, XRP would be worth nearly 45 USD

Capitalization is :
Total circulation coins X price

This is what is important. Price alone doens't matter.

I think I also agree with you @bitmover. Op didn't cover all areas capable of increasing price and your analysis with ripple is a good one. Investors are very smart and like to trade and hodl  project with high use case against the one not considered capable not to increase fast.
5371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your thought about New projects? on: August 21, 2020, 09:31:24 AM
Im not sure that we really need new projects. The majority of them are useless and people are creating them jut to collect money

But not all. Investors need new and good project to invest their money and make profit. You could see above your post some projects that members are tipping as good for this year and they have been doing good. What an investor need is to research deeply and ask questions about the project they wish to invest in.

I have also see the number of positive comments people are making about him on this forum and I think you can do business with him confidently.

Sure he is trusted. He has successfully delivered his promises to support, in giving out palliatives to people in covid-19 lockdown. Of course, we know it is or was a difficult time for many.

This thread below is a proof:

5374  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Phycho-political side of why boxers wear protective gear or mouth guard on: August 20, 2020, 12:57:36 PM
The reason that boxers wear mouth guard are usually for protection from around the mouth from the research I have made, at least from the blog and few websites I visited

Different types mouth guards

https://blog.awma.com/5-reasons-mouth-guards-should-be-worn-in-martial-arts/
https://harderpunch.com/why-do-boxers-wear-mouth-guards/

However, beyond the reasons we have reviewed above, my hypothesis is therefore that I think the reasons are not only for physical protection but for psychology protection on the ring  Grin

So you think the only reason that boxer wear mouth guard is to avoid bitting?  Grin  No, I don't think so.
I think it also extends to avoid them from cursing , from using abusive and fowl words on their opponent.

If this is the case, I think maybe it makes the opponent to get more provoked and angry as anger has a way of making someone lose balance and control.

Guys I think the physical aspect of it is obvious to everyone and the links too have explained that to details. Therefore, I'm thinking deeply and looking at the possibility of having a psychological aspect too. Or, are there no two sides to a coin again  Huh   Grin

I guess this thread was suppose to be opened in games area at least but because of the topic, that's the reason bringing it here.

So, have you watched a boxing fight where an opponent gets extremely bittered because of what an opponent says during the fight.?
5375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bull run is coming? on: August 19, 2020, 11:54:29 AM
You do no need to check so many models to understand when the Bull run will come. It is historically proven that by early September till end of December the market tend to be bullish.

I think in 2017, we had more of bull run from the beginning with some little correction, maybe that year was different  but agreeably,, December happened to be the end of it as you rightly said.

Binance exchange having high volume does not guarantee a bull run, cryptocurrency is not saturated to one exchange. There are other big exchanges with high volumes in the market.

Apart from binance making statement about the bull run, I think the market signals are indicating it too.

If this is the case, I think by instructing the wearing of mouth guard as a rule,  either the officials are trying to avoid the boxers from being more exposed to blows because they can go out of focused and concentration. Here, I think is not because of the rules of the game not to be violated but to help the opponent guard themselves because it will be chance or advantage for the opponent who is coursing to attack more.

In sighting example, you could relate this with Muhammad Ali in his fighting days tried everything he could to muta some words to his opportunity and that further provoked them on one side or frustrate them because they kind of lose focus

I think this my phycho-political hypothesis can go a long way to help you think deeply on the reasons they cover their mouth beyond just avoiding dental damage.

This is a self made hypothesis from a deep thought.
5377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All hope is lost?? on: August 17, 2020, 09:53:38 PM
I used to have 14 ethereum but I got caught in the web of FOMO and I lost over 10 ethereum because the project I invested the ethereum on have dropped marginally, is this the end of the road for me? Or I still have hope? How can I recover?

I think the right thing to do now is to ask op how the investment is doing now that etheruem is increasing and doing good with better prospect. I guess it should be close to success story now except the project was a scam from the beginning.
5378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is very excited at the moment. on: August 17, 2020, 08:39:13 PM

What is going to happen in the market. What do you think about all this cryptocurrency? Let's discuss in detail.

What will happen is that the market cap is going to rise beyond what it is now. More traders will sell and wait for drops to go in again and that is trading transactions will keep going on.

Bitcoin is the pioneer coin and if it increase, expect more coin to keep growing. Is a time to hodl your bitcoin.
5379  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The Transition on: August 17, 2020, 02:26:12 AM
Keep it up! for all things will follow. Learning here is not easy. I too get confused about cryptocurrency if only I have no friends helping me out here then probably I left in this forum. I can't get too long with the technical discussion which is only the basic of cryptocurrency but I was having a hard time on it already. I have been posting here a lot and joining too bounty campaign but sad to say did not earn from it instead all of the promise rewards are scam or if there could be a project that pays then it so bad that it will only be like few cents that could not compensate the time and resources through out in the promotion of the campaign.

I can feel your exasperation on trying to understand it all. Nevertheless, regarding being scammed in bounties, we all have felt it and or still experiencing it depending on the level of our information. You can choose to fellow what bounty to join from this thread here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5228629.0

The bounty section is still bedeviled with scam unlike the bitcoin section that signature campaign have 99%-100% chance of weekly payment in btc and reputable managers are 100% trusted to pay for your help, labour or support for the publicity you rendered.

If we keep sanitizing the bounty section by exposing scam bounties and managers, the section too will be a nice area to trust. I wish you the best as you keep doing your best on the forum.
